Dindigul Thalappakatti is a popular chain of South Indian restaurants that originated in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. The restaurant is known for its authentic Dindigul biryani, which is made with basmati rice, mutton, and a variety of spices. The Dindigul Thalappakatti restaurant in Chennai is located in the heart of the city, near the Marina Beach. The restaurant is spacious and has a modern decor. The staff is friendly and attentive. I recently had the opportunity to dine at the Dindigul Thalappakatti restaurant in Chennai. I ordered the Dindigul biryani, which was delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked, the mutton was tender, and the spices were flavorful. Overall, I had a very positive experience at the Dindigul Thalappakatti restaurant in Chennai. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic South Indian cuisine. Here are some of the pros and cons of Dindigul Thalappakatti restaurant Chennai: Pros: Delicious food Excellent service Pleasant atmosphere Authentic South Indian cuisine Cons: Can be crowded during peak times Prices can be a bit high If you are looking for a delicious and authentic South Indian meal, I highly recommend Dindigul Thalappakatti restaurant Chennai.

Thalappakatti mutton biryani boneless is the best, different flavour altogether The price is too high (more than 400 for biryani), portion size is too low (sufficient for single person only) Almost all of the thalappakatti branches have similar taste, so have similar overall ratings Service is too slow, especially since they take a lot of time to serve the briyani

As mentioned by many the mutton biryani is awesome. Mutton chops , Sukka is all very good. To end is up Gulab jamun with ice cream fits nicely. Good to go place. Ambience is nice and service is fine. Will surely recommend for mutton and spicy food lovers.

The restaurant is famous for non veg varieties. I had chicken biryani which was very delicious and chicken piece was made to perfection. There are some tables which are road facing. I was lucky to get that table. The seating arrangement was on 1st floor.

We had mutton biriyani, gun chicken, nalli chops and masala cola drink. Size was perfect for two people and food was very tasty. Spice level was perfect. Deliver to table time was good. Masala cola drink seems costly. Overall a good combo for non veg lovers.

I tried lot of food here . Biryani was disappointing, only 2 small pieces of mutton in mutton Biryani. Prawn was really good. Prices are average. Place was very crowded.
