Review Da-sh - Chennai (Madras)

I went to roof top. It was awesome. But Hard core DJ is at 1st floor and we missed it. Food is okay. Mostly we can get local drink. Cocktails are not superb, just okay. Food is also the same. Chicken items are good compared to fish and mutton. But the worst thing is service. The service is not good and make us wait so long time (this is on Friday). Price is cheep compared to other restro bar. The price cost 5400 for 4 people's.

Its located in omr road just few kilometers away from shollingnallur. Its a good place to hangout with friends. Couple entry is free and if you wanna go with friends stag entry is available for Rs 1000 per head. If you just wanna drink and gossip they have space available on top floor. I really enjoyed.

Soothing place for a relaxing dinner. Mild music , good tasting food, drinks ar reasonable price. Lovely place to hang out.. the white wine shrimp was awesome. ❤️

Place is really owsome. Free shooters for ladies from 11 to 12. Cocktails are really good.. DJ is mind blowing. Ambiance is attractive. Finger food is served. Really good they are. They have roof top restaurant also. Even there they serve liquor. Really a great place in OMR for weekend get-together. I would really suggest the place.

It's a very nice place to hang out, chill, eat, booze, dance. They have restaurant, pub, roof top arena, bar. Roof top arena is their X- factor [You can eat, chill, smoke, booze and hangout there]. Pub has entry fees, while the other has free entry. The price for food and beverages is moderate. Quality and Ambience is very nice. So, if you are looking to have a night life in OMR area of Chennai. This is the place.

A very good resto bar and a happening place during weekends. Next to McDonalds and in the main road. Ambience is so good and roof top is a nice one. Prices are nominal and staffs are super friendly.

Its a good and serene place to hangout and the waiters over there are responsive and are with good attitude. There will be no wait time usually and they also offer a place to dance and drink which is not free to enter. I would refer that dance and drink place for couples but not for stags

The roof top restaurant is great, the bar is also good, though the music needs some work, if you are going to the bar, and this is for the guys, make sure that you are wearing formal shoes, otherwise you won't be allowed in the bar, no such rules are there for the rooftop restaurant though. Also alcoholic beverages are served at both the places.

We went there for the New Year eve's party !! One of the best pub's I have been to. Great ambience !! Excellent food !! The DJ was awesome !! Best place to hang out with friends !!

This is the new place in OMR. Lived up to the hype that was given. There are separate floors for the dance floor on the 2nd and the restro pub on the third. This could become the potential weekend get away party location of advertised appropriately. Staff here are very genuine and none were harsh.

Wow place!! Don't go with sleepers if u wanna go to d danc floor... Service was good....

Theme and ambience is very cool but they are still in the initial phase..have to speed up the service...and drinks are expensive than they are supposed to be for that kind of ambience....cheff is really great if u get him time to cook. I give 5 for chef.�

Anyone who wants to visit especially during new year or any special occasion, please don't go, dash is run by group of amateurs, we paid 5000 during new year and we're able to eat only dragon chicken, it seems like other items like chicken lollipop etc.. never reached, DASH is so awesomely horrible that a vodka bottle fall and broken on food items, and they also served people, God save people from such PUB, Bouncers and Staff even don't know basics like which floor which bar is,

Entry for girls and couples- free.<br/>Entry for stag- chargeable.<br/>Nice ambiance.<br/>A lill short on space but it makes up for the good music that is played.<br/>Early bird get the best seats.<br/>They do have a small dance floor as well for those who like to dance! If you have to find a table check in bit early. As we went on Saturday night which is Bollywood Night the crowd was high and it’s too difficult to find a table. Separate smoking area which is also too small. DJ was good and the music is too loud. Food is also affordable and good. <br/>Bouncer is so decent and helpful. We were making so much disturbance outside the bar ,even though they handled us very gently. That’s so good and I really appreciate it.<br/>An overall good place when compared to other pub near IT hub in omr and which is much more convenient for hangout.

Group of 4 colleagues went for rooftop bar and had rum , beer and lime juice. Paneer pepper fry was really spicy and it was awesome. Egg bhurji was tasty. This bar has a good ambience. Good place  for a evening drink.

If you ready to break your diaphragm be here at your risk. Its so f***ing loud. Space is a bit constraint even for the dance floor. I don't think am going back here again.

My wife celebrated her birthday here. It was a fantastic arrangement done by Arvind. He suggested us the best options to make the party memorable. They were 25 ladies in all. Hall was filled with balloons and DJ was fabulous and the ladies enjoyed it till the last minute dancing on the songs played by him. Service staff were very cheerful and helpful and took personal care of each and every guest. Food was also yummy and the spread was also great. Cake cutting was an unforgettable event with Arvind's fire on the cake trick. Arvind was taking personal care of each and every aspect starting from serving the welcome drink to arranging the starters and then lastly dinner. <br/><br/>Thanks a lot entire team of Dash and Arvind specially for making the celebrations a memorable event.

Great music but the crowd isn’t great. However if you go here with your friends, you don’t really need to bother about the crowd. The drinks here are cheap as compared to the pubs in the main city. The music here is Punjabi and Bollywood which is totally apt for North Indians.

Finally i found a great place in chennai . Even though the management and the co- workers were so cooperative nd friendly !<br/>Only one thing I want them to improve is the availability of the drinks as mentioned in the menu, 😅but when you hit the dance floor it won’t matter !! The place has a very bad crowd and a very bad DJ. They charge 1000 as entry for stag. It's definitely not worth it. Time waste and money waste.

There should be rating of 1/2 str as well . There was no option of imported beer at all . All they have is british empire . Food is another disappointment . Not a good taste and very slow service .

Place is good. Especially the manager Arvind is helpful. But the waiters have a bad attitude (Especially a waiter named Naveen). When you take unlimited offer valid for limited time, the waiters purposefully delay the order to make sure very less is served.

Worst pub ever been in my life . . . I came to chennai to spend a evening with my friends but it's really sad to say never go to this pub and waste your eve with such non-proffesional staff and specially the bouncers (if you are stag and visiting this place then it's not meant for you as the bouncers will come and stand by your side since you are stag so they think you can misbehave with the other couples this is the mindset of the staff) . . . they can anytime ask the stags to leave the table for couples . . . we spoke to some senior guy but he arranged back the table as we didn't do anything wrong but in return started giving us advice and telling us the rules for stags . . . They will charge you GST but won't give you original bill until you ask for it . . . Please don't waste your eve

And when you enter, you will realise only British Empire is domestic beer and RC and signature is domestic whiskey. When we called the manager, he said it's their wish to disclose or not<br/><br/>Entry fee: they will charge basis guests. For us, couple was free and stag was ₹1000. We paid. Then we saw couple walking in with ₹1000 cover charges. So, they are thugs in short.<br/><br/>Food: Malai kebab was bad. Dragon chicken was fine. Lamb was bad as well. 2/5<br/><br/>Drinks: everything in international, almost mil in domestic. So be ready for 58% tax 2/5<br/><br/>Ambience: AC was pathetic, music too loud. Absolutely pathetic. Absolute thugs. We were told INR 99 unlimited domestic beers. They didn’t even have Kingfisher. The manager instead was arguing with us. His stand- British empire is a domestic beer only, and it is our choice. Keeping that in mind, we would have gone to a local tasmac instead- same service: dark ambience, no ac, oily food and British empire beer. Not worth the INR 1000 we were charged for Stag entry.

We had team lunch at this place. Restaurant has a very good ambiance. Food taste and variety is okay. Service is good. Restaurant itself made arrangements for a bday celebration. It is appreciable.

Pros:<br/>* They did let us inside<br/><br/>Cons:<br/>* Man-handling of stags<br/>* Bouncers need to learn some basic etiquette<br/>* Stags can dance only in the rear end near the door<br/><br/>Either you allow stags or you do NOT allow them in the dance floor. Charging stag entries and mis-treating them is a day-light rowdism.<br/><br/>Although stags were well behaved, bouncers did push them to a corner and ensured that they stay there. One of my friend who had a fractured shoulder was pushed by their bouncer twice and got hurt.<br/><br/>Do not enter Dash with stag entry.<br/>

Went there for the first time , such a bad experience has never been felt by me ,the organizers dealt with us very ruthlessly there were some scenarios where I could see some of the boys even manhandles by the bouncers , I understand female safety should be priority but not all of the stags in the party go there to misbehave , you cannot set a boundary for stags once you have already charged them , they misinformed us and misbehaved , I don't know who should be blamed for this the organisers or the staff but whatever happens was very unruly and unprofessional very diabolic if the organisers , I suggest you guys to find a better place and there many in abundance in Chennai .!<br/>Wanted to give zero but Zomato doesn't have that option.

First things first - food was lip smacking. Ordered chilly potatoes n a Hari paneer tikka.. both were delicious, special mentions to the green chutney..it was the showstopper😂..<br/>Ambience is good, we opted for the roof top place.<br/>Now here's a suggestion to the management.. u need to filter the crowd. U ppl have got such a beautiful rooftop, which is partially hampered by the kind of crowd that comes in.. probably u cud go for only couples on the roof top atleast on weekends..<br/>

I have booked a table at 8.30 pm today, 8th April.<br/>When i reached there we were stopped at the 1st floor as the bouncer said stags are not allowed. We were called down to ground floor and the booking was confirmed and we were allowed to the 1st floor. Ultimately we just came to check out your place and have a good time. That’s All!! Not so Happy about it!!

Billing system is inappropriate here and they overcharge you. Ordered a LIIT and we were charged saying it was all imported. The staff don't have clarity on the prices listed in the menu. Highly don't recommend this place :( Bad experience..!

It's's a nice place to hangout with your pals. 3 floors and three different settings. The rush on weekend was high so I would recommend making a reservation. Ambience and Staff were good but food was average.

worst place to go i visited 2 times staff and bouncers will behave in impolite and dj is worst they are playing for 10 mins and giving break for 30 mins. coming to drinks and foods many drinks mentioned in menu are not available. i suggests not to go we can find better place than DASH.

Do not go there if you are from Up market or a class above.. it is a local bar -- a class high than TASMAC.. okay for local crowd and local office goers .. you will be disappointed if you take your office executive or customer.. then you seriously need to go to  upmarket place. <br/><br/>Horrible place with smoking smell, no fan in roof top(sweating ) food was Okay,, Service was not that awesome, you need to wait for 1 hours to get some one listen to you,, and every one looks like rouge and not humble or polite.. they are bouncers and local guys... I would not recommend it ,, go for it only if you and your friends has to go with local budget and you need a better place than TASMAC. Not a class of Hilton, or Raintree or any of those places . I made a mistake of going there with office Colleagues for a weekend get-together, it was not worth it.. as we were sweating whole evening in the roof top..  I will not go again -- will not recommend it either.

I have visited with my friends during weekend, the place is awesome.. we have choose the open area. They served a welcome drinks for all which is a great courtesy. The lady who got the drink looks very passionate not remember the name..We orderd chilli fish and chicken, chilli chicken taste was ok but the fish we didn't like. Service part was fine everything was coming on time. Really ambience was extremely good. Great place to spend time during weekend's. We didn't made any reservation still get a nice preferable table to seat. We got to know they serves hukkas as well, i was very excited to ask for it but they keep me posted that it will take around 120 minutes. I was little disappoint there. Also few thing's, drink not available from the menu..we would like to visit again and recommending all to try this place once... thanks team....

Such a 3rd rated sub standard pub. pls stay away from these people if you have a self respect .... Purely disappointed with the staff.. Denied entry even.after calling multiple times to the manager and DJ too. i am planning to sue them soon as they cannot deny stag entry upon showing in the Ad.<br/><br/>

Food was decent,but the ambience and the music experience were very good!Good place to hangout for the weekend!<br/>Finally a breather,between the routine and stereotypic restobars!Service can improve a little bit,but when you hit the dancefloor,it won't matter!<br/>The management was very friendly!Only thing I want them to improve is the availability of all the drinks mentioned in the menu!Otherwise,a stellar place to hangout!

Nice theme good ambience love alot ...awesome place to hangout with friends.....highly recommend...all staffs were cooperative and bartenders were good in liquor knowledge..... lighting and sounds are most attractive in OMR......must visit.....thanks to all sober tipsy guys for making our day memorable.....keep up the good work.<br/>Specially I would like to mention some names who really take a good care of us....Praveen,Vinith,bobita,srini,Poovarasan...keep it up guys......and special thanks to Mr.Abhijeet and Charles for making our women's day more special......see u in our next visit.<br/>

It was a very good experience what I expect it's more than . Really we enjoyed a lot the service is good food should be somewhat improved in taste and quantity. We really enjoyed the DJ with DJ iypen he is on the mix and rock the floor like something....

This place We have booked through Zomato and the booking was taken by Mr. Abhijeet the starting to the end 100% service was given by him and his team, food was tasty, Service was good ,View of rooftop is awesome, would like to mention Mr. Sravan name as well who were there for our all requirements with smiles.<br/>Definetlt i would like to recomonde this place to my friends and family .<br/>The team keeps up more to go and once again thanx Mr. Abhijeet definitely we will come again to visit your restaurant. <br/><br/>Thanx <br/>Drain

such a nice place,highly recomended i will start with receptionist such a beautiful lady named as suguna welcomed us with courteous.secondly most interesting place in omr (sober - tipsy). Nice ambiance,i must say this place rocks with good light and music system. Quality of food quite ok,but the servers are awesome.special mention to Mr ABHIJIT (BAR INCHARGE). Some cocktails made by him was really awesome in taste and fabulous by looks. thanks abhijit,vinit, jayraj for making our evening special,thanks team sober-tipsy,we want to get the same hospitality from you guys on our next visit.
