Nicely maintained...they should have provided wash basin for customer use...We used their kitchen sink for hand washing....hot puffs, donut and chocolate lollipop was good...

Headed straight to Baker's cottage for their amazing, fluffy and sweet cake for my dad's birthday. You have to checkout their amazing pastries too!❤️ The best part is they don't store anything.

What a wonderful place for bakes & cakes/Desserts. Taste/quality has not changed even a bit in the last 10+ years. Back from overseas bought my fav item there same feel. Hospitality by shop Owner for suggestions for new buyer and listening to their views is simply amazing. Never seen/had experience in Chennai.

Varieties - decent varieties, tastes neat. The cakes could be available with more varieties. They have been doing justice for a long time. I have tried their cookies and pizza. They were yum. Only suggestion, their cakes could be alot more better. However, this is a one of the decent place you could think of to drop in and buy at any time.

Wonderful service, I don't know her name but she attended very well and delivered great service. I had my pet in my car and dint feel like going inside leaving my dog alone in the car to get my cake, but she (employee) came all the way out to me with the beautiful cake.. Cakes are literally cheap other big shop cakes.. A decent packaging and servicing from an old lad.. Yes it's good have such shops on my purchasing list in month end

I usually don’t write reviews..but this time I can’t keep quite..Everything Which i had ordered was so bad. The vanilla cake was horrible even I bake a better cake..the veg puff was spoiled..the buns were extremely hard...this is not the baker’s cottage which it used to be..totally regret for ordering there!

Ordered a baby shower customized cake from here and they did a really good job in making it exactly how I wanted. It tasted really good too.

Since 2010 bakers cottage is my pastry man. Very flexible and helpful while customizing our cake.has got huge selection of cakes for all occasions. I will always recommend bakers cottage .

Had a very bad experience .... Ordered an eggless black forest for my Granny's birthday... as they refused to deliver on the specific day claiming Christmas traffic ( p.s. there were still 3 days left for Christmas )...specifically asked them if the shop would be available for me to pick up the cake at 7.30am....they promised that they will open early at 6 am and bake the cake the same day...only for me to fall prey... the cake was too dry that children and my granny barely touched it post the first bite... The reason was spotting in just the first bite ... it was the dryest cake I have ever eaten...guess they baked in the previous morning and made me pick it on the next morning.....in Total... Will never order or recommend to anyone....

The best place to order cakes.. Baker's cottage has become our destination to order cakes for birthdays in our office. Delicious cakes at reasonable price. They not only look yummy but tastes the same as well. Whether it's a pre planned order or last minute order, you can trust this place. Good job guys

Chocolate truffle was very bad.. one of the horrible truffle cake ever had. The cake was jus an ordinary plain cake with chocolate.. not a cream cake.. Those who love chocolate truffle, never ever go to this place..

For three years v hav been ordering birthday cake from here...but this year two cakes which v ordered didn't come out the way v wanted it to be.. v were disappointed..cakes tastes too weren't as same as it was before...never going to order from here again.

Love their cakes and pastries and the new chocomello cake (pic attached) is my new favourite. The chocolate croissant, chocolate fudge cakes are worth a mention

I am a regular customer of bakers cottage... cakes are best here.. customized and tailor made cakes... i was travelling and just wanted to try the Black forest.. time was 7 .30 pm... still it was fresh and soft... had lemon water.. bought a cashew and butter cookies... nice place to hangout with your friends.. good comfy seats....

It's been so long since I visited the place. It's a good setting I would say and cakes are the best. Seriously guys these people make amazing cakes which are tailor made as you like it.

The cakes are good. Every evening after 8pm they have buy1 get1 on puffs. It's worth it and quite tasty! The only drawback is, it's a small place and ambience lacks here.

My sister bought cake for my birthday from here. It was my favourite chocolate truffle cake and believe me it was super good. I'd recommend getting your b'day cake from here if you live in anna nagar. The cost is somewhat high but reasonable. It's worth a visit and worth the celebration that follows

I had ordered for a photo cake for my daughter's bday. Excellent cake! Texture, taste and richness scored full mark. We relished it's taste. Yummy. Taste still lingers in our mind. Wish they had home delivery on Sundays as well

my uncle ordered this orange flavored cake for his wedding anniversary. it tasted fine with orange flavour playing it's role on the cake perfectly well. the chocolate ball used as cake decoration was filled with orange caramel. it went well with the cake's flavour. coming to inside portion of the cake. it had layers of vanilla and chocolate. and cream was fresh.<br/>we stored it in refrigerator and when my aunt consumed it the very next day she could smell egg. which obviously removes the original taste of the cake. i am not satisfied with the egg smell in the cake. management should look into this matter as it spoils the cake on whole.<br/>

This place isn't know to many people as the board is small and kind of located in quite spot. But I love the Cakes and Puffs out from here. Kind of costly but since the taste is good I don't mind spending. worth a try.

Chocolate eclair is my favourite here and also the doughnuts are meltingly yummy !! But when I decided to give an order for my daughter's bday cake ,it was a simple party so I needed only 1kg cake,these people's attitude was so weird that they didn't actually wanna take up the order...They were not ready to give us options for the designs and when a customer walked in to order 5kgs cake,these guys simply ignored us and paid attention to them. Does it take longer to listen and satisfy a customer.. Though it's all about great taste, it's only the extra mile of service that matters.<br/><br/>You guys failed our expectations..

Tried their chocolate truffle cake for this new year. The cake was excellent. The cost too was very reasonable. The place seemed to be good with quiet a decent varieties of cakes and bakery items. Would be one of the go to bakers in the future especially considering the fact that is quiet nearby to my residence.

Bakers cottage is situated in a really nice location. Really peaceful. The seating capacity is low. So get your friends accordingly. I tried the chicken cylinder and for its rate I really liked it! The Chocolate Truffle was good and the Only-Chocolate cake was good but really heavy. ₹150is enough to make 2 stomachs full. Good place to go to with a very small group!

Pls do not eat at Bakers cottage... Not worth it.... High price for low quality food.... Worst of all... Came to buy bread and the ppl say the prices are revised and I thought they have reduced the price so that poor ppl can get bread because of the flood.... But instead he has increased all the prices by 10 rs... The price for the regular bread was 50 rs... But today it is 60rs.. not worth the money... Heartless ppl... PLS DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BAKERY... Baker's cottage, located near my workplace accommodates me and my colleagues for impromptu birthday celebrations. The place is small, pleasant and hygienic. The staffs are welcoming and pretty good at clicking pictures. The cakes we ordered were delicious and reasonably priced say for a kg it costed about Rs. 700-800. However, they don't have gourmet cakes, but I recommend their Irish Coffee Cake. I have not tried anything from the fast food menu, will probably soon. The variety of cakes offered by them is plentiful, you can either book your cake over the phone or go there and chose. It's our go-to place for cakes in Anna Nagar East! Hopefully, you will enjoy it too.

Been over a year since I started ordering from here. Always have had some of the most delicious cakes made. Their Irish coffee cake is by far the best flavour though there are many others which are also very good.

The biggest mistake i made was deciding to buy my daughters first birthday cake at Bakers Cottage, we ordered something, we gave photographs for designing and final output was horrible. I would have liked to rate something lessthan 1 if at all option was available. I firmly suggest its better to buy in some local bakery than choosing Bakers Cottage.

Best place for short eats everything is freshly prepared .. You can find everything freshly baked they keep filling the counters it's nice to some spl stuffs like cheese cake ,blue berry muffin, macaroon crossanants , rather than same old puff n cake they place kind dark n cool place to visit in hot sunny day

We usually order birthday/anniversary cakes from here. The cakes aren't extraordinary, but they are good. I've noticed that they have offers going on most of the times when they sell a particular flavour of cake at a special price. Right now, there is an offer on 'chocomello' cakes sold at Rs 580/kg. it's supposed to have layers of vanilla, caramel, butterscotch and chocolate. I could only recognise vanilla and chocolate flavours. No trace of butterscotch or caramel. Despite this the cake was good, though.<br/><br/>Service is generally friendly. <br/><br/>My rating of 3 is based on at least 7-8 times that we've ordered from here.

Well, I live a few seconds away from the place. So I've been there on several occasions. I never really thought of giving it a review before because it was pretty new when I first went there. <br/>But it's been years now. I've dropped in plenty of times to grab a small bite. Appearances  may fool you though. It's got the facade of at LEAST a middle class bakery, but when it came down to the food they had to offer, not much. Puffs, doughnuts, and the rest of the mediocre eatables. Nothing that stands out.<br/><br/>I've personally never had any baked goods there, but from what I've heard from my friends and relatives, I don't think I'd be looking forward to it either.

The isolated Bakers cottage is quite popular in and around 6th avenue.. Where they serve you some delicious pastries. We ordered some cakes for our family occasions and satisfied with their taste and models. Dining only works for some quick snacks. Most importantly they must learn how to treat their customers.

A branch opened up at Korattur , nearly a year back and only then I got familiar with Baker's cottage. So I stepped in and ordered an Irish Coffee Pastry. The piece of cake seemed quite over priced but surprisingly, it was worth it. Chicken Croissant from here, is my usual order. They bake satisfactorily. If they improve on the quality of their muffins, and the brownie which was just horrible and buttery and which simply implied low quality, I think they would do fine as a normal bakery. The milkshake that I was offered was obviously ice cream in a mixer. And I paid 80 bucks for a cup of ice cream in a mixer. <br/> The chocolate truffle cake that I ordered from here was pretty good. It was solid and chocolaty and had the perfect consistency. If this place pays attention to all the products as much as it does to its pastries and cakes, I think it would be the talk of the town. I hope they get this feedback and also improve on the small branches they open at secluded areas so as to keep up their brand name. These reviews are purely based on the Korattur Branch that gives a negative impact on all other branches elsewhere.

First emerged to be the only known bakery in Anna Nagar east. Have been there 3 times in the past year. Ordered a rum flavoured cake. There was a slight rum flavour but the cake was not bad. Not great but not the worst too. Wish it was rich enough for the price. Was interested in the cup cakes with blueberry fillings which was sold @ INR 40.00 but aparently it has been discontinued.This was the recent experience 2 Sundays back. Went there with 3 others for some short eats. Ordered a brownie, a katti roll & a pastry with orange juice. Brownie was decent but was quite dry that it was breaking up. The pastry was average with nothing much to rave about. Katti roll was not worth the amount. Orange juice turned out to be diluted tang pre made. When we got the bill, we were billed for the wrong item which spiked up the bill for about INR 60.00 & after some protest got the refund of the same. This place is not one where you "have to go" but a place where you can go when you need some change in ambience. So for me..Highlights : Not much.Lowlights : Not much of value for the money.

Bakers cottage is the best bakery in annanagar's vicinity. It has one of the best cakes I had ever tasted for very reasonable prices... There is no compromise in quality or taste. Outstanding cakes which made me feel indebted to write this review.

So my first review to Zomato, It was my son’s 1st Bday , tons of tension in my mind about how the cake would come out , how the taste would be..!! But to surprise me the cake delivered was awesome to look as expected. The taste was WOW ( Mango flavored ) , The finish of the cake was so pleasant and pleasing thanks for all the effort which has gone behind. Also appreciate on the timely delivery.

I absolutely do not have a problem with the taste of the cakes and snacks here. In fact they serve some amazing cakes. But, what I can't accept is the carelessness and attitude.<br/><br/>Buddy, I come to your place to order cake for a happy occasion. I don't expect you to greet me with a smile and all. But whats up with the grumpy attitude? You behave as if you are doing a favor for me?<br/><br/>I ordered a Chocolate 'Caramel' cake for my Parent's anniversary. I ordered a Chocolate 'Caramel' Cake because I wanted the cake to have 'Caramel'. But what do I get ? A simple Chocolate cake! At the price of a Chocolate Caramel cake! And when do I find this out? At midnight 12 PM when we open the cake to cut it.<br/><br/>Of course I should have checked it before I left the shop. However, I learnt my own lesson.<br/><br/>I will never go here again. Ever.

The first time I came across this Bakery was in 2008. Since then it has become my favorite Cake Shop :) The cakes are amazingly delicious and though the variety is less, each cake is so delicious in its own way :) Ambience is good and they have some other decent snack items which you may like. I regularly order cakes from them for birthdays and special occasions. In my opinion their cakes are much better than what you can find in any of those popular or high-end cake shops in Chennai.<br/>Having said that, however I feel that recently their cake designs are becoming standardized and of mass-produced type & they are not as attractive or unique or creatively designed as they used to be when I first bought from them (In 2008 and 2009). For example, if you order a Blueberry cake they will give you essentially a simple square shaped vanilla cake with Blueberry pulp topping and some additional decorations as you want - but back in 2008, the same Blueberry cake would have a beautiful round shape with blueberry cream applied in a creative form and even other decorations were part of the cake itself rather than end additives.<br/>Hence overall I give them 4 stars - but if they can go back to their original cake designs then I will rate them 5

As the name suggests, it is a small place near K4. The bakery has a huge variety of cakes and desserts which look yummy. It also offers snacks, combos and drinks. The pastries are as delicious as they seem to be. Liked the black forest and chocolate truffle cake very much. Eyeing the combos next.<br/><br/>It has only three tables for dine in.
