Went in 2 days ago to have food with my friends. This place is located on the right side of the madipakkam koot road towards Keelkatalai. We ordered Chicken Noodles, Chilly Parotta and Veg Keema Paratha... The food was totally worth it.. The chicken was well cooked.. Chilly Paratha waa crispy and the Paratha was so soft.. The sides that they gave for Paratha was too good..
Definitely worth a hit
Service-4/5
Food-4/5
Ambience-3/5
I cross this place every evening and see it crowded. Must be good. There is a huge queue for take away.
So me and my friend decide to stop by for dinner. Ordered stuffed parotto and grill chicken half. The ambience is okay. The food is good. The parotta was really good and the chicken decent. Price isndecent. Half grill 190 and small parotta which is good for 2 person is 140.
Well to start with.. I had food in medavakkam branch since it's missing.. Giving it here.. Being in Chennai, v r used to parottas big time. And v find number of varieties making it a unique place.. Let's start with negative - coin parotta was too much sweet n chicken parotta was over full..
Positives - huge list with different varieties strawberry, banana, chocolate, seylon n egg vechu. All were amazing.. Though one can't eat them fully alone as all those r sweet parottas.. Over all good experience with parotta
. They had all kinds of other items as well.. Reviewed jus wat v had.. Ambience is neat clean n good for family n friends.. 1st time I saw mutton leg piece Briyani though I dint taste for now maybe next time ;) ;).
A good place for trying out different variety of parotta. The stuffed parottas are good compared to the regular ones. The side dishes are pretty spicy, could cut down on that. They don't give you a curry of thier own for parotta, hence it becomes a must to order for a side dish. They have parotta burger and also sweet parotta, all of which should be consumed hot, if not will become rubbery. Ambience is pretty neat with the restaurant newly renovated. Could try out this place for a change.
Good place to fulfill your cravings for parotta! Lots of varieties. My personal favorites are coin, banana, mango, egg veechu parotta. NOTE : Shop is now located at Madipakkam Koot Road. That is almost to the end of Madipakkam-Medavakkam road where it joins Tambaram-Velachery road.
I have been here many times and the food was just awesome .. They keep adding new varieties of parottas everyday . I love fish stuffed parotta and chocolate parotta . Just awesome. Best recommended ..4.0 is for the ambience alone .
They have many verities of parotta. But best recommend for home delivery. The place in side is very congested. This place is useful for the Non -veg members
I rated 3.5 because of the ambience of this place., but the food is awesome and the price is damn cheap comparatively. dont think twice, just go for it.
another drawback is that its in the middle of nowhere. but then, the food beats it.
I wanted to try this place for a real long time. And when hubby asked for, happily agreed. Travelled all the way from Besant Nagar, just for this. Located on the main road, its hard to miss. No exclusive parking space. But u can park along the road. Don't expect any ambiance. The entrance is damn busy with take away orders. They have a small air conditioned dining space. It was fully occupied and we settled outside. Ordered a sithiq special chicken parotta, cheese parotta, chicken murthabaq and coin parotta. Cheese parotta was so so. It would have been better if the cheese was shredded and stuffed instead of stuffing it as big chunks. Both the chicken parottas were awesome. While the murthabaq was thick and had a mince/pasty kinda of filling, the spl sithiq chicken parotta had pieces of grilled chicken with onions and well spiced with pepper and chillies. A special mention to the gravies aka salna that u get. Both the veg and chicken salna was mindblowing. Especially the veg salna was full of flavours and paired up well with the parottas. The coin parotta was crispy and sweet (caramelized with sugar) on the out and had a soft inside. We were over stuffed and had to parcel half of the chicken parottas.
The menu is huge. Planning to try the nasi lemak during the next visit. All the above cost us 500 odd bucks which is definitely pocket friendly and total VFM.
very very superb . And i really thank you for making wide varieties in parota .TRY TO EXTEND YOUR BRANCH ALL OVER CHENNAI. We are glad to come again
They provide variety of parottas. Once I have been there for my friend's birthday treat. We had chicken kothu parotta which is their special. Ambience and service is quite good. Affordable rates.
Went in for dinner with a group of 14 people. They accommodated us by joining a few tables. We were a mix of veg and non veg hence ordered everything that was available on that particular night. What can I say, the food was simply delicious! Though service took some time due to the rush, we kept having a dish on the table. The coin parotta, egg vechu, banana and chocolate parotta are a must try at this place! Prices are slightly on the higher side but then again, quantity is pretty decent and no one afaik serve these dishes in town. Must visit spot for everyone with a love for parotta!
nice taste but has become very expensive as they hve reduced the quantity drastically
Awesome taste but rates have increased very drastically.
One of the best chilli parotta I have ever tasted!! Very tasty, Crunchy and tangy... Yummy... My favorite dish in this hotel. And the cheese parotta also tastes good. They serve free sweet parottas for free trial. Ambience and service cud have been better.
they serve good chicken stuff parota.. chicken murthapa is their speciality.
All types of parotas available. Veg and non-veg. Too good. Ambience can be improved. Worth.
A trip to Malaysia - In Chennai!
The Malaysian Parotta in Medavakkam was a long pending visit. After having heard lots of positive reviews, the trip to this place was long pending. Finally visited the place today and I am pretty impressed!
The place is located bang on the Medavakkam High road in opposite to Relaince Fresh. Good signages ensure you don't miss the hotel! They have a dedicated car parking which is an additional plus. Ambiance is nothing great to write about!
Their speciality is the variety of Parotas they have. It is the highest amongst the hotels I have visited! Started with a Malaysian Chicken Murthapa and it was awesome. Moved on to a Chicken Stuffed parotta and it was awesome too!
The best thing about this hotel is the salna that they give as an accompaniment to the parota! It was mind blowing. I usually judge hotels by the dishes that they compulsorily have to provide - like the salna, the rasam and curd and this one was got a out of out in the test! While we were eating, the waiter provided a mutton salna and a veg spl kurma as compliementary accompaniment and they were mind blowing too!
He told about a Fish 65 made of a fish called Brown Shark. I forgot the tamil name! The fish tasted quite fresh.
The highlight of the night was the ceylon parotta which was one of the best I have tasted in Chennai!
Apart from all these, there were some eye catchy stuff like Chocolate Parota, Cheese Parota, Topi Parota, Horlicks Parota, Milo Parota, Khova Parota etc which I thought I'll save for some other day!
They do serve other Malaysian cuisine but after witnessing a horror at Pelita Nasi Khandar, T Nagar, I kept away from them!
Overall, one of the must try hotels. A 100/100 from me!
Classic fast food. Their speciality is Parota, no brainer. There have huge variety of Parotas. Good place to hangout with friends. They have good place to sit, but nothing fancy.
They have two main branches in 500mts range. This is the oldest of two, original. The waiters are really good. Food is above average.
They have decent variety even for veg menu, so even your veg friends can enjoy this place.
I strongly recommend this place especially for banana parotta.. the taste was literally delicious & still made my mouth watering. Cost wise comparatively a bit higher than usual but surely worth a try. I tasted a few other items as well, their taste was also really good. Like other restaurants, services are ok ok only.
Food is good.
my all time fav grill chicken and barbeque.
Parotta also good. Different varieties pls don't miss it. Try it.
Stuffed parotta taste good.
Dine in and take away options is available.
Crowdy place.
Zomato and swiggy orders available. Card also accepted.
I liked it. First while looking price was high but for the taste and quantity its worth to give. For the taste its a trusted place.
Have many variety of parotta and one of the reasonable place in Madipakkam for foodies. Quantity is high and quality can be improved though.
One of the shop in Keelkattalai surrounding that provide tastiest Grill and Tandoori chickens. Costly but definitely the worth you pay for. Also the Egg, Chicken, Veg fried rice will be very good in taste and quality. Their parotta options are needless to explain about taste and quality.
Good food at reasonable price
Good quality at affordable prices. Taste is ultimate. The owner is courteous and explained about each parotta. You get all varieties of parotta which you won't heard before. Try it you would like it
Good in taste... Sithiq special signature dish is awesome
Known for the variety of parottas they offer. Each variety is unique and worth trying. Specially their egg based parottas and murtabak varieties are too good. Though they are a bit pricey, it's definitely worth the quantity and taste. Please avoid ordering any chinese food items here since they spoil the taste! Their noodles will be smashed and will look like rice. Overall a good restaurant to try variety of parottas.
I heard people praising thus hotels taste and hence wanted to have a try here.... As compared to this price, the taste not quality nor the ambience is worth. It seems fried rice costs 140-150Rs, I ordered through food delivery app for 70Rs and was not that much satisfied with the quality and taste. Maybe they are famous for parotta specials. Anyways I appreciate the start-up company and kindly focus on the ambience and quality of food. The chicken rice was not excellent nor bad, a quite normal taste. Whichever restaurant I go or review, I'm best satisfied with Red Box restaurant in terms of Chinese items.
Great place to buy Good variety of Parottas. And grill was good too. Price-Quantity-Quality Great. Service was managed perfectly.
