Santhiya Kandaraja
Very famous place, it is just opposite the bus stand. Can get very hot hot chapati, aloo parotha, samosa and kachori. They are prepared in live counters. Always its crowded. Very affordable and yummy. Samosa is Rs.12 and kachori Rs.15 per piece Must try

Very good chat centre opposite to T. NAGAR bus terminal. They even have Chappati all the time. The taste is very good and the price is reasonable. Parking is bit difficult as it's located in busy road. Seating is not available and good for taking parcels. Jelapi is very good and very hot.

Very freshly made chapathi, sabji, samosa, kachori, gulab jamun, rasagulla, halwa, khaju kathli, samosa with channa masala are tasty to have. After good quick bites, do not miss badam milk, rose milk, Rasamalai Or Basundhi to complete your visit. Worth stepping into Brijwasi to fulfill your appetite. Only thing it is just opposite to busy t nagar bus terminus, there won't be parking available.

Authentic North Indian snacks at phenomenal prices!! ^_^ The consistency in their service n products is worthy of emulation. Anybody who visits T.Nagar should snack at this place, else it is a great sin!!! :P :P :D

I love Brijwasi sweets. Their Samosas and Milk Cake is excellent. Better than huge sweet shops in the city. Long back, as a student, I have gone there and still remember the taste.

Located opposite to T.Nagar bus stand, Brijwasi offers you some of the best North Indian snacks and meals. Space is small and cost is apt for quality of food. Chat and snacks in the evening must try.

Went on a weekday evening. Had samosas, kochoris, Bhel Puri and Pani Puri. The samosas and kachoris were hot and crispy, straight outta frying pan. The Bhel Puri was too good and the quantity was also good. Pani Puri was normal.
Cost:
Samosa : 9
Kachori : 12
Bhel Puri : 25
Pani Puri : 20

Seems their chappathis are also good!

This place is just opposite to the T.nagar bus stand .It is almost a road side petite shop with delicious menu .They always serve you hot samosas.Kachori and samosa are the must tries here .The best thing about the Samosas or the kachoris is that they make is completely oil free.Rotis are also really good ....! You can pack them for dinner😉 ....This place does not have enough place for you to sit and dine .Many people are served outside the shop ...Still,that doesn't count into my cons though😉! I enjoy eating that way too....I would say that the best time to visit this place would be after 6 PM as the climate gets little cool comparatively than in the mornings so you can grab a plate of samosa and start enjoying your eating standing outside 🤗!

Every time I go here I will never forget to have kachori or samosa. Super taste. Everything is fresh fresh.
Bit oily but very nice taste. Best to take parcel and go home and eat because it located in quite busy place beside road.

Brijwasi sweets , located just opposite to T.Nagar bus stand is famous for it's sweets and chaats that sell like hot cakes. It is a very small place with a take-away being a wise option.

The place is flooded with people who come in for it's tasty samosas and kachoris. The variety of parathas offfered here , especially the paneer paratha with achar is worth a try.

In all , this is an ideal place for a quick-bite and it is highly pocket-friendly.

Food- 3/5
VFM- 3.5/5
Service - 2.5/5

Overall - 3/5

Talk about the best place to find samosa and kachori, here we are. The shop dates back to decades and is one of T Nagar's oldest and finest chaat shops. The place is small and not very laudable, but provides the perfect ambience for a noisy chaat! They run pretty busy on all days, not to mention season days when the streets are flooding with people. Must try their Kachori, kachori channa, and samosa channa. I haven't tried the lunch many times, but the last time I remember eating jeera rice and phulka with rajma, it was just as good as home made. Get your hands on Paneer paratha with aloo mutter if possible. Sweets here, as great as their chaat, they serve some authentic Bengali sweets and the yummiest petas. Jilabi! Just go eat it here. Fresh and hot every evening.
Brijwasi is one of the main reasons to hang around T Nagar!

Food- 4/5
Service & ambience- Just an improvised chaat waala, opt for a take-away for your own good.
Cost- 4/5
Sunny Chennai

One of the best sweet shops in chennai. The look of the hotel wont be impressive, but the sweets and roti there can impress anyone.

When ever I happened to pass through T nagar bus stand I will have atleast a milk peda from there. The rotis are one of the bests in the city. Even if you won't get any specific side dishes, you can enjoy it well with the hot subji and tomato chutney.

The jilebis, milk peda and onion pakoda needs special mention that they are soo awesome to attract you the next time. Make a visit, its just opposite to t nagar bus stand.

My sudden urge for authentic jalebi made me browse the internet for North Indian sweet shops selling hot fresh jalebis. One of my friends with a food industry background having worked in a star hotel kitchen suggested me this place. This place is on the main road bang opposite t.nagar bus stand. I got fresh jalebi packed. I had it at home with milk on top. It was ok. Maybe i never had it the right way. Basically its sweet stall selling snacks too. They also have piping hot samosas, rotis and subjee. I haven't tried both. The hygiene aspect is 0. It is a turn off in my case. Even if you have to have a take away minimum cleanliness is essential. Since its on the main road car parking is only in adjoining streets.

Zomato has really gone places to hunt and track down eateries. I've been going here quite often to pick up the oh-so-tasty Agra payda, but I've never for once realized that this place had a menu printed out. Hmm thanks Zomato for pointing that out. For all those who are not aware, this is bang opposite the T.Nagar Bus stand and so there is no question of any parking place. Tread in carefully, avoiding the hot boiling oil that is being used to fry those convoluted orange-colored flour dipped in sugar otherwise famously called - jelebis. This place is a small close-to-being-called-a-dingy place but serves excellent sweets especially the ones that are from the eastern, western and northern India regions.

You are bound to hear the Hindi spoken heavily punctuated with the Uttar Pradeshi slang which is a rarity in Chennai. Love it or hate it...your choice

The place sells garama-garam samosas and kachori's and of course jelebis that are mouth-watering.
The varieties of sweets are not that great but they taste awesome and if you're on a diet - don't tread anywhere close to this place.

There is of course some breakfast, lunch and dinner menu of veg-briyani, curd rice (yep), chappathi and sabzi etc...which I've not tasted but should be yummy...if you can close your eyes to the not-so-clean environs.

Prices are the best part and they are moderate (actually cheap) and not like those pricey joints that sell at a premium. But then the ambience is nowhere close to what you see in those pricey joints.

Your choice really
Ambience: 1/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 5/5
Service: 4/5
VFM: 4/5
