One of the most decent economy hotels you would find. There is a decent family ambience with separate ac room. Food quality is superb. Their Grill chicken and Kerala porotta is a must try.....

Loved this place, food is really good esp fish. Starters are amazing to have as well, not even tried any other restaurants during this stay of a week in chennai. Usually its quit hard to get a nice non veg dish in chennai. I can eat the same food for even a month.

This is a lovely economical eat out with a nice family dining area and tasty food. Would recommend trying the Grill Chicken and Porotta (a must try), however getting a table booked on a weekend is preferable....

The ambience was quite good...Tried their chicken fried rice, pepper bbq chicken, tandoori chicken, egg dosa and egg kotthu parotta...The pepper bbq chicken was delicious, the quantity of egg kotthu parotta was sufficient for 2 people. The service was not so great though. We had ordered a sweet lemon soda, they had given a salty one, and the waiter was not responding properly...He was never at the table, we always had to call him to the table and he was making faces...We wanted to cancel the chicken fried rice, but the waiter was arguing that they had already prepared it and stuff...Should really improve in terms of service...

One of the decent outlets in Arumbakkam area! Great tasty food and economical! I would give a 4 or even 5 star if they improve their delivery speed! It’s takes more than 60 mins to deliver within 2kms!!

2.5 is my rating. Went to this place since no other restaurants were open on a sunday evening. The ambience was surprisingly good and they had a decent price list. The Chicken grill was tender, juicy and delicious with just the right amount if oil. Briyani and 65 we're okayish. Management should improve the service though.

Ayila Fry Meal - A descent meal combo, but not better or great. Rice quantity is good, but the gravy quantity is not enough. Also, only one non veg gravy given as a part of the meal. Atleast 2 should be given. Seem to be a kerala type food and it was descent enough. Ayila fish is very small comparatively but ok in taste. Overall, Good.

Visited fish n prawns for dinner. Ordered a chicken combo set and a shwarma. The food is fresh and tasty and the service is attentive and good. Its great value for money. Ambience is ok. Overall a good experience and will visit again

Went two times this small restaurant. Non veg dishes r good. Briyani is okayish . Chettinadu fish gravy. Egg masala are awesomes. Falooda is super good. U hv d option of mini falooda too. Really good pleace nearby...food is decent and they have its a multi cuisine restaurant and nice place to hangout...even the staff is really good and helpful...this place also have a bar near it...so its good if you drink, you can grab quick couple of drinks before having your meal

This is a pocket friendly Restaurent, I have been to this place multiple times in the past few years. The quality and quantity of food is always good. Kerala chicken curry is my choice. I prefer rotis and gravies compared to rice items here. I noticed some combos priced competitively but never tried. Do not forget the falooda here.

Used to get chettinad based gravy like prawn, chicken and mutton, they are giving their best in it. Also Grill chicken is pretty good here. Basically i dont like malabar based biriyani so 'thumbs down' for its biriyani. Other than that good place to have good food.!!

Fish finger and shawarma are must try... Prawns are also nice and cooked properly but didnt appreciate it much as it was cooked in coconut oil...

Didn't expect anything, went inside. Ambience is very good inside, lightings seats and decorations are too pleasing. Ordered biriyani for parents and had a shawarma and finger fish for me. Parents liked the biriyani here and didn't waste any bit. Shawarma was OK, with the price finger fish was good. 10pcs / 170 rs. Atlast ordered a Nethili fry, it was crispy n salty. No complaints with the waiters, they were polite and friendly.

Among the few good places near my locality. They have good affordable combo offers. There Kerala cuisine is also good. The shawarma and barbeque section I just average or a little advice average. Good service for both dine in and delivery.

I've been to this place many times now and ordered from here quite a few times too.<br/><br/>The food was good overall. Gobi 65 was OK. Green peas masala was too good to believe. Good food at par cost. There were good starters. Chicken lollipop was the only thing I could say the worst. How could one spoil lollipop? you could ask here. Butter naan was so good and soft that had me kill my parched stomach. Prawn masala could have been better. I would definetely eat fish here, prawn wasn't that great... I wouldn't order chicken here again... their quantity is less... decent ambience and looks clean... the price they serve for isn't that expensive either... waiters are cordial... although the fish is great, everything else is just average...

Not a great experience. Was staying near the restaurant and from outside the restaurant looked nice, so walked in for dinner take-away. Ordered chicken and egg Kottu paratta and prawn Masala. This was a total rip-off, as there was no chicken at all in the Kottu paratta. And the prawn was bland. And 290 for this oily food is neither good for health, nor your purse.

Ordered a grilled chicken combo which serves a quarter piece of grilled chicken, along with 2 paratas and veg gravy..grilled chicken was completely over grilled and the smell wasn't that good .. Paratas and gravy were fine , manageable .. And the service wasn't gr8..

It was around 4'o clock in the evening, had some work in arumbakkam and was looking for a restaurant to eat. This was open so we went there. The AC dining area was decent. We ordered chickenbriyani, Szechuan chicken fried rice, grill chicken, prawn fry. The chicken Briyani tasted good. The fried rice was bad. The grill chicken was very good. I didn't like the prawn, we ordered fried prawns but they brought a semi gravy, they had put coconut so I didn't like it.<br/><br/>Not a bad experience overall.

Even though this place belongs to the same group who manages Crescent Hotels, that standard was not visible on any of my visits. The food tasted good and the menu is also more or less the same as Crescent.

Dined out with my friend and order fish finger, chicken dosa and a omelette . Fish finger was awesome, omelette consistency was maintained and especially the chicken dosa... It had so much of chicken in it. It's worth spending time and dining here.

The food here is one of the best in Chennai, hands down! Let it be Kozhi Pollichadu (Fried Chicked) or the great Parotta combos or the unbeatable fruit juices, it's worth every penny you pay and will last for a long time in your memory.<br/><br/>But, the sad part about this place is the people who are taking care of the service. They never attend you, never look out for your next orders and they never even refill your glasses with water until you literally shout for them. When you walk out, you would only remember the rogue and lazy misfits of their waiters, instead of the great food you just had.<br/><br/>Never recommended for anyone who hates bad service.

It was a Saturday and I was at a colleague's apartment for some office matters that too after giving an exam! Even though we all were starving, was managing the show with some cookies and chocolates as our target was himalayan.<br/>Finally the time came whn we could concentrate no more in the files. After a quick discussion, we settled on ordering from Fish n Prawns which was very nearer to us.<br/>We were 5, ordered chicken biryani, wheat paranthas, chapathi, malai kofta and a mushroom gravy. The order came pretty n at first I felt good about their packing and also appriciated that the food was hot.<br/>On opening, we noticed that instead of wheat parathas they had delivered our regular maida parota which was a bummer as none of us likes it. The chapathis' size was huge n it was soft. Malai kofta was really good and mushroom gravy was a let down. It lacked flavours. Both the curries were of good consistency and the portions decent. The biryani was totally yum with tender chicken and subtle flavouring. Would definitely try their seafood varities soon :)

A sudden plan..so decided to check out this place for dinner..we ordered panner butter masala, chappathi, parota, mushroom gravy, idayappam..but i would say idayappam was not that good..a nice place..service was good..2 of my friends ordered chicken nd mutton biriyani..they told it was really good<br/>..price is also economical..overall a nice experience.

Got a home delivery from here some days back, they were well in time.<br/>I have always wanted the Ceylon Parantha, so ordered for the Chicken Egg Ceylon Parantha. It was pretty good, and very filling.<br/>For the main course got Chicken Stew, it was done pretty well and tasted good with the Ceylon Parantha. I haven't been to the restaurant, but felt it's a little under rated.

Went here for lunch. The combos here are very cost efficient. I had 1 grill chicken + 2 parottas + gravy for Rs. 109. Grill chicken - grilled skin, which I consider holds all the flavor of the chicken was sticky, I don't know why. Parottas were crunchy instead of soft. And gravy, if I had an emoticon I would select the one that is looking sideways. But yes, it was filling, that I can guarantee.

As the name of the restaurant I ordered sea food only. I had ordered prawns fried rice , fish biriyani , fish meals . To be frank it's the worst food you will experience at chennai.

I was reading the other reviews, and it kinda had a mental block on me cuz all the reviews except one had bad reviews about the restaurant. <br/>We had ordered a golden fried prawn, fish fingers, phulka and chicken gravy. Fish fingers was good with yummy tar- tar sauce. Then the golden fried prawn. I was pretty full after the fish finger so just tasted few prawns and couldn't taste the curry or phulka. <br/>We got the left overs parceled and I had the curry the next day. I should say, it was jus yummy. I think they have renovated the building and given it a new look and its not a great restaurant, but u can't complain on their food. Cuz as far as I've seen its good.<br/><br/>I was pretty disappointed with their service people Cuz it looks like the restaurant got a face lift and not the servers. I would give it a 3/5 on the whole. Its not s must-go but not harm trying.

Dont get fooled by the name of the restaurant because its highly misleading,only grilled chicken is nice.And the shrimp fried rice which was once the best dish, has been taken off the menu.

I tried Prawn curry. After eating it, my stomach developed problem. I think the prawn curry they served was rotten or kept in the refrigerator for longer days. I don't recommend this Restaurant for anyone.

Can surely enjoy steamed rice (basmathi), Kerala fish curry (vanjaram), fish pollichadhu (its a must try dish available in 3 variety), egg onion fry and lime mint cooler (served in beer mug. Mind you). Wallet friendly restaurant. Inclusive of everything it will be 800 for 2. This is a unit of crescent hotel, nungambakkam but you wont get the snacks and drinks that's served in crescent (like pazhampori, aval milk, etc.)
