Nice place to hang out , friendly staffs , more tables , ambiance is really good , food we really liked it , try non-platers worth for money . Yeah they have floor too. Smoking room is too small , only 10 ppl can stand at a time . Overall -3.5/5

So when my gang of friends who are relatively new to the party meet's, I suggested them this concept of 'pub hopping'. We wanna start of our night with Illusions as it won a small survey among us especially because of the much talked happening scenes here. 😊 Took sometime for it to gain the crowd but once it is up, the party got wild by the lights, music's and EDM's. The staffs were very helpful to caution us about the taxes for the imported liquors and also to inform the status of the dance floor. 😎 We decided for a Pub hopping but while we were partying and becoming high, we let the time flee. So go late, stay longer and PARTY PARTY PARTY ...!!! 🍻🍻

Its the first bar with a patent in India.Agent Jack's bar is a theme bar where customers can interact with a virtual bartender known as AGENT JACK. Customers use an iOS app or an Android App to make offers for drinks at their own choice of prices. Agent Jack may choose to agree or disagree. Each offer which is Rejectef by Agent Jack is followed by a humorous comment challenging the customer to try again and is publicly displayed on large projector screen in the bar. The concept brings a mix of humour & Interactivity to the bar and provides the customer power to bargain and enjoy great deals

Best place to get Boos if you can afford a High price .. Great ambiance friendly staff and a happy huge collection of imported liquors...I would suggest one time visit for everyone who love to try some new places to get boozified!burp!! cheers!🍻

Was there with my friends over the weekend, this place used to be called illusions pub earlier. Located in Mylapore, pretty easy to find when you come from RK Salai, right besides Waitrose departmental store. Parking for bikes is right across and not sure about car parking but I believe they have a valet service. The seatings and ambience gives more a restaurant feel serving liquor. This was a no-no to me, but having said that the seatings , lightings and music gives u a pub feel (to an extent). They have 2 variants one for stags and other for couples, both the places looked similar and not that exiting (ambience wise). Ordering here was interesting since we need to download an app for ordering, the prices keeps changing not sure why and how but I believe as the people start pumping in the price starts increasing. We ordered some starters which were good, my friends had liquor that included tequila shots and signature whisky. Overall a nice experience !

***Updated review*** Our first experience at Agent Jack's Bar (Renovated Illusions) was not good. We went there on a Monday evening and waited nearly 5 minutes for the valet parking service. Frustrated, we had to get out and request the valet staff who were busy talking to one another, to park our car. The place was almost empty, probably because most of the people were not aware that they are open for business or may be because it was a week day. The interiors are well done, though most of the table layouts are retained. The prices keep varying depending on the number of drinks ordered and you are required to place the order from their app (Available on playstore. For some strange reason, i was unable to find that from 2 different Android devices), but their staff would be more than happy to help you order what you want. When we went, all that they had for beers were imported pints and no domestic brands or draught. We left after having a pint each, completely disappointed. I might give it another go after a couple of weeks when the place starts to get busy. Changed the rating from a 5 to a 4. *** Previous review below for Illusions*** I had been to Illusions a couple of times. Each and every visit provided a unique and excellent experience. The staff is courteous, food is good, fairly good collection of spirits. It is not your typical pub, but well worth a visit if you want to spend quality time. Pricing is not too fancy as well. Currently they are closed for renovations and are expected to open up in the first week of August. Hopefully, the renovated place will be much better and spacious.

Before Agent Jack's it was illusions.. But I especially liked agent jack's experience.. We can actually bid for drinks. The tricky thing they do is they serve the drinks first and then we can negotiate with the prizes. Please do visit this place must try!!

This place has a great ambience !!! It also has private spaces , if you are coming here as a group and want to have some private place for 6 to 10 people. The food is awesome and you can’t complain about any. The drinks served is also great with a great customer service. For one of the drink, we felt there is too much of syrup/water than the alcohol and they were kind enough to replace it with how we wanted !!! Yes, you do have a dance floor here and good music is played. You can also ask the DJ to play your fav ones ( not tamil ) Has Valet Parking and also rent a driver facility to drive us back home.

Great decor, creative lighting, happening crowd. Kitchen is excellent but the highlight is the bartenders, especially Dinesh. This guy can mix and shake and serve amazing cocktails. The guy has got panache. A good place to visit on a weekend.

Ambience was good .As a music lover ,I liked the songs that were played from the 80's starting at 7pm to the latest songs as the time went by. The veg food was awesome ,only reason I am eating 4 stars is because they just had only 5pints of KF beer which was told when I asked for more else a rocking place. The staff were friendly throughout.

Absolutely love this place.. very nice ambience and comfortable seatings. The staff are really good and friendly, there's somewhat of a service delay and stuff during peak hours or when the place is fully packed. I guess that's quite common. Other than that it's totally an amazing place

The only place where u can bid for Ur alcohol. The food was not that great. It could be better. They should have a better menu. But they did make an exception and custom make us a dish. Ambiance is good.

The menu itself is exquisite. Though they make you download an app which I think is pretty much redundant. Service is prompt. The bargain system is pretty much useless. Two bucks dont make a difference if you are paying 58% tax on imported licquer. Note that.

Visited the pub along with my colleagues for a get together. Was a decent place to be, with a good ambiance. The veg side dishes were far better than the non veg ones. Main course of Naan, parathas and fried rice were decent. Though the service was good, found it to be quite costly and not worth the value for money paid.<br/><br/>

This was The Illusions Pub previously, but the interiors and decor still remain the same. Place looks very dimly lit. <br/><br/>Went here for a team lunch and we were made to order through their Mobile app. This was definitely the worst part. You come with your team but everyone is still glued to their phones! Really upsetting. You guys should do something about it. Also, not everyone prefers ordering that way. You could surely lose out on customers. It could be interesting for negotiating the price of alcohol but doesn’t make sense to order food there.<br/><br/>The service was okay. Every dish took 20 mins to come. The order was messed up due to the App method of ordering, and they weren’t willing to get a replacement or change of dish. So we were forced to take it. <br/><br/>The food tasted really good though, surprisingly! <br/><br/>We ended up ordering a variety of Pizzas - Triple Meat, Four Cheese, BBQ Chicken Tikka and Hariyali Paneer Tikka Pizza. Four Cheese was a big disappointment. Too hard. It felt like a thin biscuit topped with a layer of cheese. Everything else was pretty good.<br/><br/>Kadai Chicken with Tawa Paratha:<br/>Pretty expensive for 2 pieces of Paratha. Way too much gravy for two pieces. Taste was fantastic though.<br/><br/>Baked four cheese Chicken Parmigiana:<br/>Chicken breast stuffed with Mozzarella Cheese, served with spaghetti. Super cheesy and crisp. It was good. Nothing distinctive.<br/><br/>Pretty expensive for the quantity. Taste is really good. Service should definitely be improved. <br/>

We went here on a weekday as well as a weekend. The overall experience was amazing thanks to Amar( he is the manager)..he is very courteous and suggests drinks and food according to ur taste..and the drinks were quite strong and good..I would rate the ambience and drinks and food at 5, DJ and prices at 4. The famous Agent Jack's popular in Mumbai and Bangalore is finally in Chennai! Was very excited to try it out and the bar did live up to my expectations.<br/><br/>They have hands down one of the best interiors for a bar and the ambience was great. The music was perfect as well. Ordered a couple of shots with a shrimp sidedish with my friends and the food was pretty good. Would totally recommend it and visit again.

I had been there on a Tuesday evening and the place was deserted. Food was good but expensive. If you want to get the feel of Agents Jack franchise pls don't visit on a weekday.

A good place to meet with your friends. It's a medium sized restobar with good ambiance. The food was delicious. The drinks seemed to be a bit over priced. Customer service was just okay because I didn't like it when they tried to sell us more drinks by being over friendly. I let it pass because all that mattered to me at that time was having fun with my friends.

Came here for a drink on a Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised how the space had been transformed from illusions. Very courteous staff, good music and upbeat ambience. Unfortunately, couldn’t stay long as I had to catch a movie. Been to the Bangalore branch, a novel concept and a must visit for chennai.

Took about half hour to bring one pint of beer to the table. I went to about 4 waiters asking them if they could bring a pint. Everybody responded positively but nobody brought the order. And then they seemed to have forgotten that I was even there. Worst experience EVER! And yeah forgot to mention - Bad DJ for a Friday night.
