The menu itself is exquisite. Though they make you download an app which I think is pretty much redundant. Service is prompt. The bargain system is pretty much useless. Two bucks dont make a difference if you are paying 58% tax on imported licquer. Note that.
Ambience wise, the set up is too good, however music is too loud.. ordered for fish fry, 7/10 for the food, 10/10 for the concept, 5/10 for music..
It's a decent bar with a pretty ambience and with a friendly bartender and a happy crew.
There was Illusion pub before, now they have just renamed and made this.
Salt and pepper Calamari is a must try! Chicken wings could have been a little saucy. Spicy corn and aloo tikki was pretty good. Peri Peri Paneer is good for veg starters.
The pricing is a bit expensive compared to other major pubs in Chennai! They have different special offers each and everyday. It's located in the heart of the city that's Mylapore!
On a whole it's a good restrobar to chill yourself with your vibes!

Visited the pub along with my colleagues for a get together. Was a decent place to be, with a good ambiance. The veg side dishes were far better than the non veg ones. Main course of Naan, parathas and fried rice were decent. Though the service was good, found it to be quite costly and not worth the value for money paid.
We went here on a weekday as well as a weekend. The overall experience was amazing thanks to Amar( he is the manager)..he is very courteous and suggests drinks and food according to ur taste..and the drinks were quite strong and good..I would rate the ambience and drinks and food at 5, DJ and prices at 4. The famous Agent Jack's popular in Mumbai and Bangalore is finally in Chennai! Was very excited to try it out and the bar did live up to my expectations.
They have hands down one of the best interiors for a bar and the ambience was great. The music was perfect as well. Ordered a couple of shots with a shrimp sidedish with my friends and the food was pretty good. Would totally recommend it and visit again.

Visited the place couple of days back. Had a good time with friends. The concept of the place was really novel. We can negotiate the price with the agent jack app and get better deals. The more we use the app the more deals we get. Loved it. Also the ambiance of the place is good with good artworks. I would love to visit the place again.

So when my gang of friends who are relatively new to the party meet's, I suggested them this concept of 'pub hopping'. We wanna start of our night with Illusions as it won a small survey among us especially because of the much talked happening scenes here. π
Took sometime for it to gain the crowd but once it is up, the party got wild by the lights, music's and EDM's. The staffs were very helpful to caution us about the taxes for the imported liquors and also to inform the status of the dance floor. π
We decided for a Pub hopping but while we were partying and becoming high, we let the time flee. So go late, stay longer and PARTY PARTY PARTY ...!!! π»π»

Was there with my friends over the weekend, this place used to be called illusions pub earlier. Located in Mylapore, pretty easy to find when you come from RK Salai, right besides Waitrose departmental store. Parking for bikes is right across and not sure about car parking but I believe they have a valet service. The seatings and ambience gives more a restaurant feel serving liquor. This was a no-no to me, but having said that the seatings , lightings and music gives u a pub feel (to an extent). They have 2 variants one for stags and other for couples, both the places looked similar and not that exiting (ambience wise). Ordering here was interesting since we need to download an app for ordering, the prices keeps changing not sure why and how but I believe as the people start pumping in the price starts increasing. We ordered some starters which were good, my friends had liquor that included tequila shots and signature whisky. Overall a nice experience !

Our first experience at Agent Jack's Bar (Renovated Illusions) was not good. We went there on a Monday evening and waited nearly 5 minutes for the valet parking service. Frustrated, we had to get out and request the valet staff who were busy talking to one another, to park our car.
The place was almost empty, probably because most of the people were not aware that they are open for business or may be because it was a week day. The interiors are well done, though most of the table layouts are retained. The prices keep varying depending on the number of drinks ordered and you are required to place the order from their app (Available on playstore. For some strange reason, i was unable to find that from 2 different Android devices), but their staff would be more than happy to help you order what you want.
When we went, all that they had for beers were imported pints and no domestic brands or draught. We left after having a pint each, completely disappointed. I might give it another go after a couple of weeks when the place starts to get busy. Changed the rating from a 5 to a 4.

I had been to Illusions a couple of times. Each and every visit provided a unique and excellent experience. The staff is courteous, food is good, fairly good collection of spirits. It is not your typical pub, but well worth a visit if you want to spend quality time. Pricing is not too fancy as well. Currently they are closed for renovations and are expected to open up in the first week of August. Hopefully, the renovated place will be much better and spacious.
Before Agent Jack's it was illusions.. But I especially liked agent jack's experience.. We can actually bid for drinks. The tricky thing they do is they serve the drinks first and then we can negotiate with the prizes. Please do visit this place must try!!

The drinks served is also great with a great customer service. For one of the drink, we felt there is too much of syrup/water than the alcohol and they were kind enough to replace it with how we wanted !!!
Yes, you do have a dance floor here and good music is played. You can also ask the DJ to play your fav ones ( not tamil )

Great decor, creative lighting, happening crowd. Kitchen is excellent but the highlight is the bartenders, especially Dinesh. This guy can mix and shake and serve amazing cocktails. The guy has got panache. A good place to visit on a weekend.
Ambience was good .As a music lover ,I liked the songs that were played from the 80's starting at 7pm to the latest songs as the time went by.
The veg food was awesome ,only reason I am eating 4 stars is because they just had only 5pints of KF beer which was told when I asked for more else a rocking place. The staff were friendly throughout.
