This is a favourite spot for my family cos, the food served here always have their quality standards maintained. Had been here several times during the time Global grill and i am a big fan of it. They have closed the global grill in all the branches after COVID.
Recently I have been to the outlet in Anna Nagar. The parking is adequate and it has valet parking too. The food served was too hot and so yummy!!
They had served tandoori chicken, barbeques tawa prawns, seekh kebab, fish kebab, mushroom and paneer tikka. All the non veg items have been served hot. There are too many buffet restaurants nowadays and this one is surely the best.

I had a delightful experience at Signee Restaurant during my visit. The non-veg buffet offered a variety of delicious options. The ambiance was tranquil, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere, and the waitstaff were exceedingly polite and attentive, regularly checking in on our needs.
The starters, including tandoori chicken, mutton seekh kabab, and fish fry, were exceptional, setting a high standard for the meal. The soup was a great way to begin the culinary journey. In contrast, the main course, particularly the biryani, had room for improvement. However, the vegetarian main course shone with its diverse selection, featuring dishes like mushroom matar, paneer kali mirch, aloo, and capsicum, alongside an array of salads.
The dessert selection was a sweet ending to the meal, contributing to an overall positive dining experience. Personally, I found the starters to be the standout part of the meal, surpassing the main course in terms of taste and quality.

This is a medium-sized place serving North Indian type buffet. It offers great starters. The starter menu can be quite a handful once they start bringing in the Chicken tandoor, Fish pakoda, Prawns, Paneer tikka, Pineapple chunks, Mutton sheekh kebab.
At the beginning, you have a choice of veg or non-veg soup.
After you finish your starters, you can go to the Mains. I am not sure if they change the menu daily, but today they had Ambur biriyani, fish masala, kadai chicken. For the veg, they had curd rice, rasam, pulao, rice, palak paneer, butter peas masala and many other items. I felt their veg options were far better than non-veg.
It's a bit expensive @832/- per cover but the items served are of quality. You will not regret paying this much.
Ambience is easy on the eyes and not very flashy. Tables and chairs are basic.
Staff are really good and friendly. They give you the feeling they are there to serve and that's a big plus.

They have valet parking which makes parking easy. We avoided the buffet and tried the ala carte.
Had nariyal murgh shorba a quite a variety soup. Good to try which taste quite different. Good to try once. Had a few tandoor rotis and murgh afgani malai tikka which was quite burn down and was quite bad. However the curry murgh tikka lababdar portion which was quite good. It was full of butter and was good. Finally the sizz brownie with icecream was quite good.
They took a minimal charges when we parked the rest of the food back home.
Overall good restaurant but have a pricing little over the normal.
The restrooms were quite clean and adequate.

We went for the buffet. The starters were good especially chicken. Rest were ok. The main course was however disappointing. They have very limited varieties.

In the buffet, As for starters there were really good especially in the non veg segment. But they were kinda limited on the veg side. The main course was kinda average and did not have anything noteworthy. However the desserts too were great and impressive.

Ambience was super at nice place of Anna Nagar, We had dinner buffet very nice. Especially golden prawn fry and fish fry was awesome. Chicken was tender. But only thing the ice cream was over sugar not nice have a scoop also. Rest of items are superb.....

I enjoyed the food a lot. It is so different from a barbecue nation or Absolute barbecue restaurant . Starting from soup till deserts everything was good. Service was good but could have been better. Had to remind the waiter to get starters many times.

The place was cleanly maintained. The tables and the utensils were clean and neat.
The food quality was good, there was a nice variety of Starter (about 7-8), Main course(about 7-8), and dessert (5-6) and about 4 ice cream flavors. None of the food was lacking anywhere and all were cooked to the mark.
The people working there were very friendly, especially for a buffet restaurant, these people were great! The owner was also communicating with the guests, wishing them and asking after them for queries, and the managers and staff were no exception either.
This place is very suitable for family meals or even a get-together.
Only drawback that I find personally, is that this place is kinda small, not tiny though. There are enough seats but it makes the place a little cramped. There is also only two restrooms(one for male and one for female).
But in all aspects this is a very small issue compared to the hospitality!

The place is well built and maintained well like it shows that it is made in order to have a premium experience when eating.
The menu contains both veg and non veg so people can enjoy varieties and people can eat both if they feel like eating.
Starters for both vegetarian and non vegetarian are their speciality and i would highly recommend to have starters to your hearts content
For vegetarians they have an alloo tikki, paneer tikki, baby corn, sweet potato fries and many more
For non-vegetarians they have prawns, mutton kabab, fish fry, chicken wings, chicken fry and many more and you can have unlimited starters and main course
For the main course they are vegetarian they have different curries panner alloo and different varieties, for non vegetarians they have prawns curry, Biryani, different types of chicken curry,
For desserts they ice cream brownies and fruits.
And seats were available but it may be a little too expensive

They give you a welcome drink, followed by a soup both were good.

Please don't go to this place. The place is unhygienic, hand wash area is smelling like gutter. All workers and kitchen looks dirty, all starters were burnt and tasteless, molktail was jalgeera water. Fish starter was smelling raw. Prawn curry had many prawns which had shell on them. Plats not washed well, sticky table surfaces, Ice-cream was cheap variety. Moreover, my experience was very bad when I complained to the manager, he says we have 20 branch and 20 years experience , nobody complained about all this. Very very bad place to go unless yours planning to risk your health.

After quite some years, having ala carte at Sigree. This restaurant is located above Croma at Anna Nagar.<br/>The last time I had at Sigree was when they were at Sterling road.<br/><br/>For starters, we ordered the Murgh Afghani Malai Tikka. As described in the menu, they were succulent pieces of chicken marinated in Cream and Cheese. They couldn't go wrong with this one. Before the starters, they provided us with some roast pappad which was freshly made and crisp.<br/><br/>For main-Course, we ordered Kakke Da mutton. Lamb cubes made Punjabi style. It was medium spicy with some amazing Garlic Naan to accompany it. The Garlic Naan was fluffy. Words cannot explain it. You have to try it for the experience.<br/><br/>Overall, a great evening with some amazing food.<br/><br/>A suggestion would be if they could have the buffet tables and Ala Carte separate. Given, that the place is crowded for it's buffet.

Sigree is located near the Croma building in Roundtana Annanagar. Parking on weekends is a bit tough but they have valet parking. The best thing to try is their buffet. It is a real value for money. The starters include tangri kebab/tandoori chicken, prawn fry, sheek kebab and grilled fish. The Prawn and chicken are excellent and succulent but the fish is quite ordinary(mainly because they use Basa). On to the main course they have a great Biryani, coastal prawn curry and Mutton Keema Pav. Phirni and Jamun stand out in the Dessert section. Overall a very satisfying experience but it would really do better if they were to replace the Basa Fish with some other variety. They lose 1 star in my review because of the fish.

Although parking was not allowed inside the premises, was not difficult to find a place for parking at road.<br/>Ambiance: Quiet spacious and well arranged tables. <br/><br/>Food: We had buffet which included unlimited starters of BBQ's(Chicken BBQ and Chicken Tikka, Mutton Sheek Kebab, Fish, Potato, Paneer. Other items on the menu where, Biriyani, Mutton curry, Chicken Curry, Prawn Curry, Roti, and not to the disappointment of Vegetarians, Pulav, Paneer lababdar, White Rice, Dal, Rasam, Curdrice, Salads, Icecream and other deserts.<br/><br/>Taste: Biriyani Tasted excellent and the Mutton in the curry was so soft and tender except for the Mutton sheek kebab was slightly under cooked, for all others I will give 5.0/5.0This restaurant is value for money, with good food, taste and varieties which you will get atleast Rs.200 to Rs.300 more elsewhere.

Came here for a team lunch with my office colleagues from Ambattur. Although my colleagues had visited before, thianwas my first time here.<br/>It's conveniently located on 2nd Main road a short distance from the roundtana or with those of you familiar with Croma.<br/>There's plenty of parking for both cars and bikea, valet parking is available.<br/><br/>The lunch is priced at Rs 599/- inclusive of tax and they offered us a eat 5 pay 4 offer 🤗🤗🤗 we were 19 of us so we paid only for 16 pax.<br/><br/>It will take too long for me to indvidually review each dish so I'm just going to write one review.<br/><br/>Starts with a welcome drink, a soul, small plate of chaat, french fries, chicken wings, mutton , chicken tikka and some chicken wrap 😁😁😁<br/><br/>Main course has chicken biriyani, mutton gravy,chicken gravy, fish 🐠🐋🐟 gravy.<br/><br/>Desserta were awesome too except payasam<br/><br/>Overall good experience for the price. 👍👍👌<br/><br/>

Sigree was suggested to us by friends, who are regular visitors to it. I am really surprised that how we have not heard of it being so close my house....<br/>Went there with family for dinner.<br/>Excellent service and the food was also equally fantastic...<br/>Being a foodie I loved the tunda kebab and murgh malai kebab...<br/><br/>They have a wide range of buffet too. Went to Sigree on August 15th for a family lunch. The 4.2 rating from Zomato was an encouragement that this is a good restaurant. Was in for a surprise - and not a pleasant one.<br/><br/>Ambience: 2/5<br/>The restaurant interior is decent but quite cramped. Because of the rush and absence of any noise dampeners, the noise level was deafening. It was as if we were sitting in the middle of a crowded market. The buffet was laid out in an inconvenient passage. The tiled floor was quite wet and slippery and dirty- maybe due to some water from the wash area. Altogether, not a place where you can have a relaxed lunch with your family.<br/><br/>Service: 3/5<br/>To be fair, the waiters were trying to ensure they give a good service. But I guess the crowd was more than they could handle or the restaurant was just under staffed. There was noone to serve the starters for the first 10 minutes, noone to clean up the floor just to ensure that none of the guests slip and fall, noone to even give us some extra cutlery.<br/><br/>Food: 1/5<br/>I'm the sort of person who will still rate a restaurant good even if the ambience and service is bad, just as long as the food is good. Sigree fell short even here. The food was just bad. There is no excuse. I could see people around me all eating enthusiastically. But I suppose they were just trying to get their money's worth for the buffet.<br/>We decided to take the buffet as there was noone to serve us if we had taken ala carte. Big mistake (though I don't know if the ala carte would have been any better).<br/><br/>To sum it up, I won't be going to Sigree again and would not recommend it to anyone else.<br/><br/>

Very sad experience. Slow service made worse by below mediocre food. Undercooked chicken. Bland and tasteless fish. Decent mutton. Big baby potatoes. Spiceless mushroom. Old pineapple. Okay briyani. Not much variety in non veg main course. "Rasam" is an item in buffet not a side. Complaining about the sad state of food got us an 'pleaser' dish that too was sadly overcooked and rough. Only one fruit for fruits. Dry brownies. Ground rice given as phirni. Good Gulab jamun though. Total of 8 starters, 4 veg and 4 non veg. One of those starters was a wrap or in other words stuffed paratha with little stuffing.<br/>Main course too is very limited.<br/>This is totally overpriced and plain bad food.<br/>Pic of sweet and sour pickle is uploaded as that was at least sweet and sour (had flavor).<br/><br/>Note: The service person was good enough to understand the issues of the kitchen and service speed. He gave an heartfelt sorry and a decent discount on the bill for the troubles.

Fried prawns were the best.<br/><br/>Main course was just decent. Could've been better considering it was an Ifthar meal.<br/><br/>Ambience: 3/5<br/><br/>Interiors were good. Buffet setup could have been done better. Once all the tables got filled, we couldn't find walking space near the buffet tables and was a bit difficult to move around.<br/><br/>Service: 4/5<br/><br/>Good hospitality. Service was a bit slow but they made sure we were all served what we asked for.<br/><br/>Overall: Pretty decent. A little bit over priced at 786 per person for the not so wide spread.

I was here for the lunch buffet. The place is pretty crowded but that does not reduce the quality of service even one bit. My favourite starter was the paneer tikka and the French fries. In the main course I loved the garlic naan and the dal makhini, that tasted so good. The dal makhini was rich and had so much of butter in it. The naan was really soft and fluffy too! I had the veg biryani as well, it was pretty good. And for desserts i had the sizzling brownie with ice cream. 😍

Great restaurant. Has good food. Reminded me that Chennai can also have good North Indian food, and that is a good thing. It's good enough to keep me coming back and order, and definitely worth the price. Do try the non veg buffet. Veg food is also good, though I have not eaten much yet. Would advise any North Indian who misses their cultural food to pay this restaurant a visit. The staff is polite, helps whenever needed. The chef is also diligent with praises and complaints. It's an overall great experience, and was definitely worth my money.

Would like to rate 0 stars. But unfortunately there is no such option. Disgusted by their attitude, service and food. Hosted a small get together here and the manager was Soo stubborn and charged extra than the people who had come. Had asked for them to serve the starters more than 10 times and there was no proper response from them. Had not even received all the starters they had mentioned to serve till the end. They had 5 starters or so, which we had to beg them to bring us. The servers were acting as if they were doing us a favor by serving food.<br/>Now Let's talk about the food. Every dish was just mediocre or plain pathetic. Something simple as chocolate ice cream which almost always never goes wrong, was bad here. There's not one dish you could name as amazing or good. Do yourself a favor, save your money, time and mood Cause the sigree in Anna nagar is a disgrace to the one in spring hotel.

I have been to Sigree Nungambakkam and Adyar branch earlier and the food easily deserved 4 ratings. With the past good experience, I took my family to Anna Nagar branch this weekend.<br/>Weekend non-vegetarian lunch buffet costs 699 per head.<br/>Starters : 4/5 - chicken and prawn starters were good. Mutton Sheek kebab smelled Raw. Fish grill dint taste fresh. Veg starters were average. Chicken wrap was the top notch.<br/><br/>Main course :3/5 - Biriyani was too dry.. Mutton gravy was less spicy (I mean the flavour..) and again had raw smell. Naan and chicken gravy was good.<br/><br/>Now coming to the most disappointing phase of the buffet :<br/>Desserts : 2.5/5 - gulab Jamun was fried in an old oil which was very obvious while eating it. Moongdaal halwa and phirni were cooked as if it was meant for diabetes patients.. :( Sugar was way too less. Choco chips kept for Ice cream topping was of low quality..

Went for a non veg lunch buffet on Sunday.<br/>Except starters nothing was good.<br/>Rice items in main course were little raw and bland. Roti items were really sour and little uncooked too. Desserts were ok but ice creams were partially melted and soft, not hard enough as expected to be.<br/><br/>Overall not worth the money paid.<br/>Other restaurants offering buffet for similar rates are much better.

Visited the place for dinner on a weekday.<br/>Costs 800 for a non veg buffet. The starters are varied and cooked to perfection, the tandoori prawns needs a special mention,could not get enough of that. Apart from it all the starters were<br/>Equally good. Instead of baby corn it would have been better to have sweet corn .<br/>The only bad point was the extremely slow service. We waited for about 30 mins for refill of the starter (chicken wrap) only after repeated enquire did we get it.<br/><br/>The 3 point rating is only coz of the bad service, the food deserved an easy 4.5 rating

We went for a la carte . The place is almost always very busy with a good atmosphere. The lighting is perfect. Seating is comfortable. Good closed parking space. And most important of all service is good. 10/10 would come again!

Very friendly staff. Mr.Bikash and Mr.Santu made us feel welcome and extremely comfortable. The food is awesome and the quantity is good. Too filling for two of us. The kitchen cooked us something which was off menu just because we were craving for it and since it was our last dinner in Chennai before we leave for Dubai, this was very special. Definitely worth it.

It is famous for their buffet.<br/>But, We tried a-la-Carte. <br/>Though it is mentioned as ‘zomato gold’ - restaurant manager denied to accept our Gold accounts and samalichified that they have already informed zomato. By 10:30pm already, we went there out of no choice in blue star road and we started ordering.<br/>Full Tandoori and one platter of mixed tandoori - this two starters fulfilled our appetite decently.<br/>Next we ordered 2 chicken gravies and 8 roti varieties. Both the gravies are low average in taste and not worth for the money.<br/>A chicken briyani- which is not at all felt like briyani and damn no aroma in that surrounding.<br/>Better avoid this restaurant in coming days.

I visited this place to have some authentic north indian food with a good ambience. It was super crowded and noisy. Since i was superhungry we decided to stay and take buffet.<br/>The problem is they take so much money for veg and non veg buffet but don't offer anything new or even average tastewise. Absolute barbeque offers much much more in the same price.<br/>Technically buffet must be extraordinary as restaurant staff chooses the dishes. Not even a single dish was out standing or memorable. One more place I'll never visit again.

The place has good ambience and spacious seating arrangements. We went for a la carte. Soup options are limited in both veg and non veg. Starters are good and taste well. We went for biryani as main course. Both veg and non veg biryani tasted good. However, the taste doesn't justify the price. Service can also be improved as the waiting staff wasn't enough once the restaurant got full.

Sigree has always been known for its rich food. But what makes it expectionally good is the service provided by the staff. Had a great experience with our servers especially Mr. Bikaash and Mr. Sushanth. Would definitely recommend people to experience the amazing service and food

Visited this place for having dinner on Sunday with three of my friends. Used zomato gold and had mutton biryani chicken biryani and vegetable biryani. All were tasted pretty good. Staff were courteous especially sonu. Definitely will try their buffet some other time

<br/>We celebrated my son's first birthday ceremony at Sigree, Anna Nagar a week ago with my family.<br/><br/>As it's the season of Christmas, the entire restaurant is well decorated with balloons, color papers and other ornamental items.<br/><br/>Besides, we took some balloons with us. Staffs assisted in blowing the balloons and fixing to the wall.<br/><br/>When we arrived at the restaurant at 7 pm, we were welcomed by the restaurant manager and he offered the best seating to suit the bday celebration as well as to accommodate the family comfortably.<br/><br/>And so, as usual, we have begun the dinner with welcome drinks and followed by BBQ dishes.<br/><br/>At 9 pm, my little Superman cut the cake to conclude the celebrations.<br/><br/>Mr. Sonu, the staff was so courteous and hospitable. He dedicated solely with us till the conclusion of the party, besides, he aided in packing the humongous bday cake to take back home.<br/><br/>Overall, cozy seating, impeccable food, courteous and hospitable staffs made the day memorable.

I have been a frequent visitor of the Anna Nagar franchise The food and the service has always met my expectation. We went this evening for dinner and throughly enjoyed the food... The Paneer Tikka Lababdar was out of the world and is definitely a must try. Of course I mainly go there for the signature dish.. The Sigree black dal and it was awesome as usual... The staff in this franchise are extremely courteous and well trained.. Special mention about Bikash whose warm smile and friendly service made the experience all the more satisfying. Overall a very good way to end the week.

Amazing place for family and couple with kids. Personalised service where even kid request is taken care. Mrs Asha the franchise owner was personally taking care of guests like family members. Haven't seen this anywhere in my lifetime. Wow that's a delight.<br/><br/>Hot fresh food served, class mocktail, the quality of food was yummy. Bikash care was a 5 star experience. Went for lunch today for the first time , chose the weekday non veg buffet ,the pepper murgh soup was fantastic and the non veg starters especially fish fingers was brilliant, the chicken tikka was really good and the mutton Sheikh kebab was so soft and nice . The gravies were good and the sweets were also good. It was the best bang for buck buffet we had gone till now. Must try it out with your family<br/>

Excellent customer service by Mr. Pradeep & Mr. Bikash. They took care of everything and were available for us every minute. Dal Sigree is a trademark speciality and the taste has remained the same for years together and the tawa subzi with the Amritsari naan was an icing on the top! A small suggestion about the replacement of chairs as they are extremely uncomfortable.
