Food quality is good. Tastes great. Only thing i don't like is they serve water in disposable plastic cup(yes same as what used in 🍷 shop). Also as you see in the image food is also served in polyethylene paper on top plates. Very very unhealthy!!!

Taste wise its very good specially chicken items and if u want Heydrabadi style Biryani then u can get here..

The biryani is the highlight in this restaurant. A plate of chicken biryani costs Rs. 150. The flavors combine really well. My husband loves the biryani from this place and while I was studying at SRM, he would ask me to parcel and get this biryani all the time. The chilli chicken is good too. For vegetarians, they have a special paneer biryani. I have not personally tried it but I hear that it is good.

One of the place where we get Hyderabadi biryani. Apart from ambiance, taste is good. I personally recommend to try this one it you want to eat biryani. They do serve other dishes but biryani is my favourite.

The best Hyderabadi biryani available in Chennai.. It's located near Srm university, so one can expect around half an hour wait on an average day during lunch and dinner hours.

It's a good place to get Hyderabad biryani in Chennai. The transportation is also good to go there. U can reach to bother railwaystation through local train and it's 0.5km from there u can walk and go. It has AC and they accept payment through tez and paytm. They speak Telugu,hindi and tamil so everyone can go there.

Ever since I went to this place I fell in love with briyani!! you get the world's best briyani here and I had chicken briyani which was super delicious! starters are good too.. a must visit for briyani freaks!! Quantity is more than you can possibly have, trust me when this comes from me and car has to be parked at a distance away from the place.

i ordered spl chicken biriyani , ya tastes different from other than the local restaurants in mm nagar,potheri but this is my first experience in this restaurant, so i go to 5*,5* is given only for the taste of the biriyani not for locality,cleanliness

This place is famous for the biryani it serves.It has ample sitting space and serves the best biryani in potheri.Proper dum biryani with well cooked pieces of chicken and the smell is just awesome.

Me and my colleagues always prfer to Nawabs Dine,They served freshly cooked very tasty foods. The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. Overall a good meal and great value.

The place is really good and clean. Try the Chicken Biriyani here. Starters are amazing especially Chicken 65 and Hakka Paneer. Price is very reasonable.

The only place that serves authentic Hyderabadi style Chicken Biryani. The Chicken is tender and soft. Kaddu ka Kheer is a must after every meal.

Visited Nawab's Dine on a weekday for lunch with friends.Tried out the Chilli Chicken for starters.One of the few places in and around Potheri to serve a decent tasting Chilli Chicken. It was prepared with well cooked onions and capsicums and was seasoned well.Coming to main course,we stuck to Indian and ordered Naans and sides of Butter Chicken. One serving of butter chicken is good enough for 2 people, with the pieces being boneless. This place is also famous for their Biriyani. Hopefully they can work out on fixing their air-conditioning as it can get uncomfortable if the place gets crowded.

This restaurant has the best taste food as compared to nearby restaurants. The prices are decent for the quantity they offer. Nawab's special Chicken was extremely delicious. It has not yet started the delivery option but dine-in is pretty comfortable.

Tandori chicken was very awful , tasteless, burnt.

For a good HYDERABAD biryani it's the best place, my favorite dishes are mutton dum biryani and kaju chicken. Being in Chennai I was frustrated of eating tomato Biryanis , finally after researching I got this. One star is less due to limited varieties. But serves it's best

A good place for dinner...both veg and non veg dishes are great...will recommend paneer tikka masala and fried rice or butter naan these are the best

Went there with a lot of hype as many of my colleagues especially Andhra people suggested Nawab’s Dine to have the most authentic biryani of their region. Before Biryani we ordered Cashew Nut Chicken and Nawab’s Special Chicken Dry. The taste of both didn’t differ much. Both were deep fried chicken with generous amount of cashew. We liked the former better. It was less spicy and more flavorful.<br/><br/>Amongst biryani we checked for the variants and asked for the difference between Special Chicken Biryani and Chicken Biryani. Difference being the former is boneless and the latter not so, so we ordered the latter. One Chicken Biryani and one Kushka. Both are same with just a Chicken Piece and Egg extra. But the best part of biryani was the piece, it was so flavorful, huge and yummy. Biryani was a bit spicy than I thought, it’d have been better if the spice was flavor inducing but it was not. So in all it proved to be an average fair.

You will have better luck finding life on Mars then mutton in there Mutton Biriyani. Granted they make good stuff. But nevertheless still a disappointment because of the above.

Well the food here in general is amazing .. no doubt .... Never had an issue before .. but this time when I had ordered a mutton biriyani for my friend , the biriyani was more like veg biriyani where in there were hardly any mutton pieces.<br/>Now the issue was that I had ordered directly through their Contact number and not through Zomato else I could have got it replaced(Maybe).<br/>

They can't control customers when large people order they provide half cooked food to meet the time. So better don't order from this during busy times ,if not it has the best biryani<br/>

I ordered through Zomato, so not the restaurant experience review. I tasted all Hyderabadi biryani’s in Hyderabad after tasting this i feel like its the nearest Hyderabad taste you get in chennai. This place near SRM university attracts huge crowd of students, thanks to the good quality almost-authentic Hyderabadi Biryani. The Chicken Biryani is a bestseller and it tastes good. But the story changes when it comes to veg biryani. I ordered a veg biryani today. It was delivered on time but when I started eating it, I found that it had almost zero vegetables. Why do they even name it veg biryani when it is just mostly plain rice? Are we fools to be served plain rice instead of veg biryani. Chicken biryani has chicken in it, so why no vegetables in veg biryani. Completely disappointed with it. It really makes me never go for Nawab's dine again for veg biryani.

The mutton biryani on Fridays is to die for. That with the Andhra chicken 65 is the best comfort food for every SRMite . It's not too spicy but very fragrant and the meat is cooked very well

It is overall a good family restaurant with decent food and well trained staff and seating area. Starters here are not that good, but the main course is delish and non veg dishes are really great here. Cost is also decent and you get value for your money as well. You can surely have a visit here.

Although the ambiance isn't that great but the food is good . You sh0upd definitely try roasted chicken here. You'll love even for vegetarians also the food is great

Known for its biriyani but it's just a hype. Nothing much special about it. It tastes quite ordinary. Other dishes are overpriced and the taste doesn't do justice to the bucks spent.

I think chicken pieces should be more than 1 in 150 rs biryani. Only one piece is not enough for 150 rs and taste could be slightly better as it don't smell like chicken biryani.<br/>Rest of the things (packaging, delivery, customer behaviour) is good.

Ordered chicken biryani, they gave just rice no chicken pieces or egg, when complain about it they do agreed and start arguing, at d end they send a very small pieces of chicken and egg around 10.30pm... Very disappointing

If you are a fan of Hyderabadi Biryani and studying in SRM this is the place you can't afford to miss.The biryani is amazing,steaming hot and infused in spices and goes perfect with raita and a dash of lime.They also have a combo offer of Biryani,Chicken 65 and a beverage which is quite economical but if you are like me,who doesn't want to mix any starters with Biryani then it's fine too because the price is completely worth it.<br/>

Food is good here. The staff is also friendly but sometimes one or two guys lose temper but it happens very rarely. Kaddu ki kheer is a must try at this place. The staff are Telugu speaking people so they also tend to speak Hindi, so it will be helpful for the North Indians also.

The best biriyani. I tried everywhere but got carried away with the authentic taste of Nawab's biriyani. It's a paradise for vegans as well.

A+ biryanis. Nawab's Dine has been in Potheri since forever. And boy do they have the correct formula for a Chicken Biryani. Fresh, steaming, and authentic Hyderbad Spices infused, the quality of the platter is appreciable. Other items also taste great, and the price is a little reasonable. I'd personally suggest getting the food delivered rather than dine in, as the ambiance of the place is a little off (and it IS located on the 2nd floor) and the couple of times I've been here its easy to spot cockroaches around. Despite all of this, Nawab's Dine has constantly satisfied me for the past 3 years. This is the go to place for Hyderabad biryani in Potheri. One of the best I've had not only in potheri but elsewhere as well. Although sometimes the spices are not well mixed, their rice is well cooked and chicken is soft and well cooked as well. Their combos including chicken biryani chicken 65 and a dessert are vfm.

this used to be One of the most referred places for biryani in the whole area of potheri, it might as well has had some competition now but still serves with a good taste and must try once.

Finding this place can be a bit of a challenge, especially if one hasn't gone there before. When I found this place, I felt like I made an archeological discovery, I had found a restaurant with one of the best Biryani in potheri.<br/><br/>The biryani was amazing! With a good meat to rice ratio and a perfect blend of quantity and quality! It's so flavourful that the rice can be consumed on it's own. The same can be said about the chicken!<br/><br/>The ambience is barely above dhaba Level yet it is surprisingly clean. It has AC, the decor is below average but the main attraction here is the food.<br/><br/>The service was good enough, nothing bad but nothing extraordinary either. I am vegetarian. After coming to SRM, I had been to many hotels for veg biryani. But here, in potheri, if you order for veg biryani, they give you veg fried rice😂. You can get veg biryani of our hyderabadi style at NAWAB's Dine. It is tasty 😋.

Probably the only good biryani around SRM University, Infact in the whole gst road... The biryani is also cheap, just 150 & 180 for chicken and mutton biryani... Definitely worth it.

Been here with my college friends as it is in the vicinity of our pg accommodation. This place is really famous for its Special Dum Chicken Biriyani and Mutton Biriyani. <br/><br/>We were a group of 7 . So ordered 7 portions of Chicken Biriyani and a coke which is meant to be the best combination for us. The portion size is served as per one individual. It is served​ with spicy eggplant curry and onion raita. <br/><br/>The food arrived in 10 mins and was steaming hot and aromatic. Though the waiters are less , the service is decent. <br/><br/>The Biriyani had rich flavors to it , one found in the streets of Hyderabad. Portion size was sufficient and heartful. <br/><br/>Must try for Biriyani Lovers.

Biryani? You got to be kidding me! That's not Hyderabadi biryani at all! What i got was some rice and oil! There's hardly any staff here, they take hours to cook!<br/>You might be wondering why even 2.5 then, that's because the oil and rice was atleast edible!

Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Terrible service. Over 25 minutes of wait and the waiters apparently don't even care. You have to pay beforehand so you don't walk out and they take the bill so there's no option for a refund. Compared to the outlet within the college campus this place is a mess. Seriously don't waste your time.

I went to this place couple of times.. And each time i fall in love with their briyani.. One must go for special chicken briyani which is delicious in taste.. Its ambience is okay but the briyani is superb..

Bummer is the word which exactly describes my visit to this restaurant. Nawab's dine is one of the top selling shops in SRM's Java Green and eating here will be one of the fond memories of my time in SRM. Well, at least until I made the mistake of checking out the main outlet of Nawab's Dine which is located near the back gate of SRM main campus, Potheri.

Chicken Biryani is the flagship dish of this place. I really liked it a lot. Fresh and juicy chicken with heavenly aromatic basmati rice make it so special. The sides of a gravy and raita add so much flavour to the dish. Paneer chili along with any biryani satisfies ur craving for a vegetarian side dish. The place though is cramped with not much open space which kind of ruins the mood. All in all, a decent place with awesome food to satisfy ur taste buds along with a bunch of ur close friends'.

Ordered egg biriyani once. Egg might be considered non-veg, but it doesn't mean the person who has ordered will be fine with finding bones in his biriyani, well, this was what happened. It was a take away order, therefore I didn't opt to call the restaurant and ask for explanation, but I ended up feeling nauseous for another two days. I'd recommend not to order egg biriyani if u don't eat flesh, as I believe, they cook chicken +biriyani together in dum, remove the chicken pieces and serve the biriyani with eggs, so it has got all the juices of chicken. This however didn't stop me from visiting the restaurant again, but now I only order veg biriyani. I find their biriyani fine. A must try is - Honey Chilli potato as starter snack.

The one best restaurant I choose to order foods in hungry mode. They provide you more quantity & above average food quality and unique taste. A review exclusively for biriyani.<br/>The best restaurant to have hyderabadi chicken dum biriyani in and near potheri. This place truly made me a biriyani lover. There is no compromise with taste and quantity. Friday special mutton biriyani is mouth watering.<br/>It's usually crowded on weekends, so it's better to order for home delivery.<br/><br/>

Went for dinner with seven of my friends and ordered Chicken 65, special nawab's chicken and special chicken briyani. Chicken 65 was spicy and red hot, special nawab's chicken was also too good and cooked well with cashews and caspicum. Coming to the last on the menu, special briyani was something special as it's name, the biriyani rice covered over the masala and chicken pieces was the best part of the restaurant and its traditional Hyderabad style Nawab biriyani and it's too good! All biriyani lovers should try this biriyani. Go with the cash as they are not accepting the cards and also there is no parking facilities, you need to park your vehicle in the small street only(Better avoid 4 wheelers).

The raita and gravy that came with the biriyaani rice covered over the masala and chicken pieces was the best part of the restaurant. Definitely a must order dish if you step inside this restaurant. Heard that the Special Chicken biriyaani might be the one that you will want to try and it makes the ordinary chicken biriyaani they serve, a joke.<br/>The ambiance was noisy. Nawab's dine is popular for its special chicken biryani and also it's non-veg starters and curries. The butter naans served here are specially soft, fluffy and tasty. My personal favorite here is the Tandoori chicken, which is very juicy and well marinated.<br/>Cost is definitely reasonable and constitutes a decent meal.

Nawabs dine is perfectly fine for biryani lovers, srm students don't need any other better place than dis one if they want best biryani in whole of Chennai
