My 1st visit:- The First Time i visited Rain Forest...I have absolutely loved it. The food, The ambience, The staff. everything was on point.
Infact the quantity of food compared to the price was also very good
My 2nd visit:- The second time i visited this place after almost one year. I didn't knew what went missing..The ambience was good but the taste of food was not like as it used to be the last time i visited

Unique decor to recreate the rainforest. But adding some toy animals and birds of the rain to make it more appealing would be great. Placing Shreak is kind of out of place. Special attention to kids is very nice.
Always there as a messiah to deliver food even at late working hours of the restaurant! The last minute decision on chucking out cooking at home and order food instead ! Runs have been courteous enough to serve at all times without a hitch ! Thank you hotel Runs!

Good place I have been here for multiple time. Never miss Phuket panner here so soft and taste was as that awesome. Panner tikka was madless here then also naan roti gravy good. All can Experience for their ambience decent price.

This place is located near Adyar signal. A nice place to hang out with friends. The food & the service was good. Lasagne tastes good here. Ambience was ok.
This a place that serves good quality and quantity for the price range its serves. Wide variety of food items. Best to try the asian food there. Ambience is good as it is a themed restaurant. Staff is friendly. Located close to Adyar Signal. Parking is available. No reservations are taken and so it tends to get pretty crowded, it is advisable to go early. Try the dragon chicken and lasagna. Take away is also a good option if you live close by.

I knew this place from long time and we love this place especially for my kids. after long time we went for a dinner last week, i could understand the changes from welcoming to sendoff it was really impressed us!! and a Ton of Thanks to the entire team. i could see the there is lots of improvement on the food consistency i really enjoyed the Jamaican Chicken, Chicken Lolly-pop, & Crunchy lamb. my kids enjoyed the lolly-pop. and coming to the service part is totally changed the service staff was very kind, and responsible their job. i think the management has taken the right step to sustain the customer with keep WRIGHT PERSON ON WRIGHT PLACE. the floor manager Mr. Issac was very kind and helpful. during our Dinner we met Mr. Saravanan who takes care of the operation he was fully loaded with knowledge of Hotel industries. very nice Gentle Man the way he is talking was very kind helpful. i would strongly recommend this place for all of foodies. we will visit shortly again..... all the very best to all.

The best ambience in Chennai. The restaurant might look normal on the outside, but once you enter, you will be surprised to see the way the interior is designed. It gives a cool rainforest effect in both the design and lightings. They provide a wide variety of food options with a reasonable price. I had a chance to try 2 new dishes and they were both delicious.

Get to this place as early as possible to get a table.... Also be prepared to wait atleast twenty minutes for your table. The lines outside the restaurant is huge especially since it was a Sunday! The ambience of the place is amazing. It's like creeping into cave which leads to a secret forest at the end coupled with water flowing between rocks, a bridge and what not! It was mind-blowing! So was the food! We started the dinner with pepper prawns which was magnificent and then the Phuket fish. The fish was tender, soft and juicy. The sweetness of the dragon chicken prepared our palette for some juicy chicken tikka. The main course consisted of chopsuey which I didn't enjoy much. The mixed fried rice with chilli chicken and chilli lamb was decent, but the Thai noodles that we ordered was a let down - neither did it have spice nor salt not the flavor... It just tasted like ordinary hakka noodles and the naan was a little sweet.... But all in all, a must visit place!
Visited this restaurant a longtime ago!! The waiters here are kind enough..ordered many varieties of both veg and non veg!! Starters here are good but the mushroom fried rice was not upto the mark! On the whole this place is fantastic in its ambience and varieties to choose from the menu!!

I went here a few months back for an office lunch and it became one of my favorite places in Chennai. Food here is too good.
I had the second best mutton shorba (in soup) in my life here (first was in the streets of Hyderabad).
Rest of the starters (Prawns, Chicken and Mutton) was also very good.ย
We had Chinese in maincourse and it did not let us down either.
The only negative thing about this place is, the waiters here do not understand TAMIL, ENGLISH or HINDI. There were several times where in we had to call them 3,4 times even to get a spoon.
We ask them anything, they say ok, and leave. And never address it. One of my team mate came a little late and ordered soup. He waited for more than 20 min to realise they never placed the order. The shocking part was, we asked just 5 min ago and the waiter said it's being prepared. May be that's the default answer they have for anything we ask.
Great experience. Seats had to be reserved. If not one has to wait for 5 to 30 minutes depending upon the time we arrive there. Rate is normal. Ambience is fantastic and innovative. Perfect for a romantic lunch or dinner. Menu is vast and catchy. There is no attached washroom which is a minus point. Customer had to come out of the restaurant entrance and walk a bit away to access the restaurant. Seats are few and they give an option of sharing seats with other customers, which is conventionally not preferred. Apart from these two rest all is good.
Easily one of the best themed restaurant in Chennai. The service was meticulous. A person not sure whether the owner/manager personally came to each table and asked for feedback. Went for dinner with my better half and daughters. Daughters enjoyed the ambience. Good and friendly staff. The barwaan paneer was tasty and especially loved the mint chutney. The Mongolian baby corn and veg cofta curry were very tasty. Will surely recommend and visit again.

Rain Forest is a theme based restaurant on Adyar below the flyover. Usually booking table through call or online is safer side as there will be a huge crowd at the weekends. After booking the table also I faced a huge wait time about 1 hr outside due to huge crowd dining inside.
When you get inside a get a welcome drink and the ambience here is really good as it blends with the nature of the forest. The rates are a bit higher as it is a theme based restaurant and service is also not upto the mark as they take ages to bring the dishes.
We ordered Fish Fry,Fish Gravy,Mutton Biryani, Butter chicken masala, Chicken Briyani, Yellow Dal Masala, Butter naan,Garlic naan,White Rice,Mutton Kabab,dragon chicken and chicken Lollipop.
The best one and a must try one was the dragon chicken and the chicken lollipop which was soo good that blends well with the juicy gravy.Yellow dal was good and like a home made one and the briyani was good and the pieces ( mutton and chicken ) are less here ,garlic naan and the butter naan was up to the mark and made well with the butter chicken which made a awesome combination. The fish took a bit late to come but it made it....must try one which was soft with no bone.The mutton kebab was ok as it was a bit hard Over all was awesome and with a some foods with a few correction.
Overall a good experience and a place to take family and friends for a good food and a theme based restaurant. A bit high of cost but worth it.

It was my first time visiting this restaurant, the food was great, ambience was great, service was amazing, very friendly staff and manager. We had ordered tandoori platter ( couldn't click picture all of us were very hungry), chicken lollipop, chicken rada, prawn masala, paneer jalfrezi and kadhai chicken all of the curries had different taste. All of them were great! The butter naan were quite nicely cooked and were quite big and filling..i would suggest this place to anyone nearby without any doubt!
Beautifully set in all ways. The rain forest theme is handled possibly so well that attracts the customers firstly. Surprise visits by men in animal disguise makes the lunch more special and memorable. The food quantity is also so filling and is worthwhile. Be there as a whole lot and get your lunch day served better !

Went there on a Saturday night! was around 7:30 where few of the tables were occupied. Valet parking to the rescue.
Went in and requested for the corner table to which they immediately accepted. we were about 4 adults and 2 kids.
>Started with Chicken manchow soup and cream of chicken soup, the manchow soup was well made, thick with loads of veggies and chicken.
>Red hot chicken- was well made, hot and spicy. chicken pieces diced evenly. should have been an good with a beer ;)
>Tequila chicken- Zeroed in by the name, but it was creamy chicken, menu stated it as white sauce tasted more like Alfredo
>Fish finger- Tasty strips of fish which was perfectly fried, was fresh and there were no other smell except the flavor.
.>Prawn pepper fry- small prawns with a peppery taste. prawns were well cooked and the flavor blended well.
>Phuket fish- *must try* strips of fish, we opted for a saucy one. the fish went well with the sauce.
>fish Manchurian- was bland, the only disappointment for the night. there was not enough flavor.
>spaghetti Alfredo- surprise came in a cabbage! never had room in my tummy to taste it though! :p
>Jamaican chicken streak- pieces of chicken along with mashed potato and a bowl of rice. big enough for two people. The chicken tasted awesome.

The buffet was quite adequate for the price. The taste of the food is also very good. The ambiance is peaceful. The only thing is the place feels like a little congested. But for a budget friendly theme restaurant it can be tolerated. Vehicles can be parked on the road for a ticket of Rs.20 (parking managed by chennai corporation)

Dining in the dense forest is the ambience you get for a reasonable money spent . Fabulous dining experience with Starters on palette lifting up your senses to a higher level . You cant avoid but asking for a repeat of the Starters . The effect of the Rain , thunder showers etc mimic the dense amazon rainforest as you close your eyes .
