Hotel Thalapakattu Restaurant - Chennai (Madras) - Photo album

I visited this place 10 years back, it was horrible and nowhere near to velachery branch in terms of quality. But now I tried again after 10 years, they improved a lot and there is a huge difference. As usual milagu rasam is top notch. Biriyani is also the same as their other branches.
The best in taste. Always suggested. Good dining space with well maintained hotel. I met a gem there called Selvam. I take this moment to appreciate his selection of foods for me. Chicken Varuval Masala is just 🔥. Will come soon. Always recommended.
I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the Chicken Biryani at Dindigul Thalappakatti, and it was an experience worth savouring. The biryani was a masterpiece of flavors. What truly stands out about Dindigul Thalappakatti's Chicken Biryani is its consistency. Having tried it at different branche
Always a go to place. This outlet didnot disappoint. Had mutton biryani (have had better from other outlets), chicken 65, tawa meen roast.
As usual the same delicious biriyani. We have tried their special sarbath, it's just the usual mojito but it was very good.
I good place and kothu porotta is awesome and even chocolate ice-cream. Good service and parking is available.
Actually those guys are soooo friendly and welcoming guests once entetered. One of them named Joydev was soooo nice They show me the different indain food types and really their food is so deliscious
It was first restaurant for me in Chennai city, great experience with food and their past culture. They decorated to the restaurant with old black and white photos of old food cooking process, which enhanced to the atmosphere around us. Service was also very good, we didn't understand Tamil language
Being a hyderabadi trying this Dindigul Thalappakatti Biryani is so refreshing. It's more of a pulav than biryani but the special mutton biryani was really good...
A very old restaurant chain. Must try chicken and mutton biriyani which is very unique in taste.
Good to see a traditional eatery adopting to modern restaurant concept. Obviously some of the authenticity and uniqueness is lost in franchise model. We do get the ease of access. Briyani portion is on th smaller side and the meat bit sparser than some of the other good ones . But the flavours and r
Nice food. A little less spicy for my liking but still delicious. The chicken Kothu was great and so was the biryani. Their starters aren't really great though and the mutton chops was just bad.
Veg biryani was good as expected, the service was fast. The drinks served were not cold as expected, that's the only disappointment during the visit. Otherwise, we enjoyed the food
Service was very nice.. Mutton Biryani as usual was wonderful.. Nice ambience and very Jafar was a very friendly staff ..
