The mini pancakes and waffles were great........ Craving for this everyday makes it much more tastier and the Caramel Cheese tea was average. But overall the food was really good!!!! 😀 😀

Place right near the beach. They serve variety of crepes, pancakes and milkshakes to choose from. My only complain was that pancakes were too tiny. Although they serve you 6 and 12 pancakes combo but it's still not enough. Plus there s loads of toppings like whipped cream and chocolate sauces to select from.

I've tried the pancakes and the waffles here. I'd say the waffles are like any other place in Chennai, serving compact, delicious waffles. Their specialty is the pancake, as their name suggests. They are bite-sized pancakes made right in front of you. I only wish they had better service. I don't complain that the staff was rude, I just wish they were more peppy.

This is cute cozy place just beside all other fancy eateries in the one end of bessy beach road. It had amazing ambience, cute photo places. They serve different kinds of pancakes crepe and waffles. The waffles are yum but go for without Icecream as they just put a lil n charge 70 for it! The mini pancakes are just amazing!! The classic maple syrup one was too good! The shop might be heavier side considering the price for the quantity. But its definetly worth having a bite if you have sweet tooth.

Does not have American pan cakes, which is a let down, french crepes being made like dosas is visually not appealing, otherwise a great place for some pan cakes. Batter was good, also the ambience. Crepes kinda tasted like wheat dosas. The cheese in cheese tea kinda tasted like paracetamol suspension, the kind you had when you were a kid. Keep in mind cheese tea in this place if you want to pleasantly get back at someone. Seriously tasted like someone dissolved a dolo 650 in water and mixed ice tea with it. Overall a good place.

This place is heaven 💙 💙 for the pancakes and waffle lovers. The best dish is banana caramel pancake or banana bonafee. Savouries are so not worth the money though. But the pancakes and waffles are love. Btw you get some of them at 50% off through Uber eats. Use that if u stay nearby and u can enjoy the best at pocket friendly price.

Went there to grab some quick pancakes and a peach tea.So the waiting time for the food to arrive is more than 45 mins...the waiters are too slow, unorganized, shabby and all the 4 guys seemed to be in their own world.mostly having fun in the kitchen, chit chatting and lazying around..after continously requesting that it was getting late for us they still never cared...the food was pre paid so we had wait and finally the food tasted average..the red riding hood pancakes was served with some sour preserved strawberry jam instead of fresh strawberries and cream.The peach tea tasted just like fruit flavoured water..

A tidy, tiny place at the beast Nagar beach ,they have very good menu for the pancake lovers and all the people with sweet tooth, we had the maple lady it was top notch, it was served within no time, the ambience was good, cozy the hospitality was also good enough, there are few tables indoor and few in the outdoors, they have also got few beverages like cold coffee, fresh juices.. The price was worth the money and affordable, the quantity was very decent serving 1 person easily..<br/>On a whole a must try place with your loved ones and gang of friends to have great time with a great pancakes

Extremely rude waiter told us that he has “better” customers than us! There was cockroach on the table so we complained and he told us that we may have brought it from outside and that it wasn’t their fault. This is a very poor attitude to show customers. Extremely impolite.

The tiny mini pancakes were so cute and so yummy. It was a last minute plan to just pop inside the shop since we were all craving for pancakes. The maple lady , chocobanofee, red riding hood and the caramelised banana waffle were a way too yummmyy. I loved the simple and neat flavour of the maple lady and the exotic flavour of the red riding hood. ❤️ It’s worth it !

The crepe was not soft as it could have been, the pancakes were little too done, the waffle tasted so blah. I am not going to comment on deep dish, it was just expensive for what was served. The service was also too slow.<br/><br/>Overall, deeply disappointed. There is always place for improvement though.<br/><br/>Will I visit again, no. I wish that was not the case.

This place is in the busy streets of Besant Nagar and its a world of variety of pancakes and waffles, we kept it simple ordered and xoxo chocolate waffle and Jelly Berry pancakes i tell you we enjoyed every bite and freshness of freshly cooked food it was a dessert to die for the staff were very courteous, after having it at the outlet we also ordered a take away.. A really good place for pancakes, we chose the make your own pancakes were you can chose your own type of pancake toppings spreads and you also have an option to add ice cream. I went for holland pancakes which are cute mini pancakes with bananas and rice crispies along with white chocolate and chocolate ice cream. it costed 330 and i feel It was a little pricy. But they do have options where they have pancakes which comes with toppings and spreads which are affordable. It’s a must try place if you are a pancake lover. Will definitely visit again.

Have visited many times ! A very regular customer ! The place is Quiet Expensive ! But very neat and well maintained ! Waffles are soft and tender , they r decorated with nice fillings and generously spread toppings ❤️ Request you guys to please work more on the cheese drink (wasn’t much appreciated by my friends and myself included) ... On the whole, 99 pancakes is a cool hangout spot for a quick snack/dessert. It will be preferred by both adults and kids.

I visited 99 pancakes this week after months of anticipation and I wasn't let down. Located in the heart of Besant Nagar and near the sea, this beautiful and cozy outlet is perfect for the sugar rush that you need after a day in the sun. My friend and I got ourselves a chocolate lovely and a red riding hood. For all the chocolate lovers, the first option is your best bet. Make sure to get some if you visit. If you like low sweet content in your food, go for the red riding hood because the strawberry compote balances out the sweetness of the chocolate. The dishes are expensive but well worth the money.

A super hit place. Quaint little cozy corner around the Elliot's beach junction lit by a bright neon board "99 pancakes". I chose to have waffles as I've been on a hunt for some good waffles that were close to ones that you get in its birthplace (I meant Europe). And I was pleasantly surprised to gorge on some really light, airy and very well prepared waffles. I topped it with the ever classic nutella n whipped cream which will never let you down. When you are confused with the menu just go for this. And 99 pancakes were just spot on with the the right amount of both. That's what it takes to win a customers heart. 😍😘 For my vegetarian friends - Do not worry. These are eggless and are not smelly or rubbery like the ones you get in other places. 99 pancakes attracted us by their interiors and stepped in with a curiosity of how it is going to be -pancakes for desserts.Yes they did not disappoint us.We ordered Nutella pancakes (the to go safe flavour these days).It was yummy and did completely satisfy our taste buds.Then we ordered a crepe (chocolate indulgence).That was a good choice too.To add something spicy, our next order was a pancake with panner Tikka.It gave us the proper pizza n cheese taste.The cheese cake drink -(first of its kind for me)was good but not as delectable as the pancakes.Finally a good place for desert indulgence.I would suggest to try out other flavours too and just not end with chocolate👍

Taste of the food is amazing and the “Holla Nutella Pancake” is good in taste. But you can’t have it more than two pancakes as you feel it a bit heavy. But overall, it tastes yummy.

Hard to locate this small yet cozy place amongst other Restaurants in that area. It is located few blocks after Thickshake factory, near Mother of Milkshakes.<br/><br/>Menu is well structured but contrary to the name, there was no pancakes, they were infact Poffertjes (Dutch pancakes) I ordered a Icecream Orea waffle, which was made instantaneously, hot and fresh out of the iron. The consistency was good and the Waffle was well cooked. The overall flavours were spot on.<br/><br/>This restaurant is really cool, food is tasty and budget friendly. I would recommend this place to people who love waffles and Poffertjes.<br/><br/>

This is a small lovely shop close to the Beasant Nagar beach. We had Holla nutella which were mini pancakes covered in nutella. The pancakes were delicious. The only fault i could find is the size. I guess our concept of 'mini' doesn't match😂

Chocolate lovely Holland pancakes were awesome.. they are available only in 12 piece sets.. ₹220/- but worth it.. we also had the Twix twist waffle which was ₹200/- but not worth the money, it was less in quantity..<br/><br/>Too many flies in the restaurant make the eating experience cumbersome. I had been craving for some soft and fluffy pancakes and happened to be in bessy. 99 pancakes was the best option with 100% veg pancakes. <br/>Since we were already full with our dinner we ordered only one with 12 pieces. Ordered for hola Nutella with 12 pieces which was ₹180 worth the money. The pancakes were served hot soft and so fluffy. I even wanted to try the creeps but they were over. <br/>Looking forward to trying more flavours and crepe’s next time. So recommend!

The love for pancakes brings me back to the place. But not quite happy with it. The taste of the nutella pancakes is delicious. But the jelly pancakes are not good, the cream is too sour. The nutella shake is also average, it can be improved.

Visited this small little place next to Besant Nagar beach. It’s a little congested, but offers best pan cakes in town. Ordered Red riding hood and chocolate lovely pancakes. Red riding hood had chocolate and strawberries but the frozen strawberries didn’t blend well. The Chocolate Lovely Pancakes won my heart. They were too good. It’s a place worth visiting.

This little place was a total surprise package for me- I didn't expect a lot, and was pleasantly surprised.<br/><br/>The shop is tiny, though there are a few tables. Ordering is not the smoothest experience, since there were only 2 staff when we went, and quite a few customers. The food needs some preparation, so the 2 people there were a little hassled.<br/><br/>The menu is larger than I would expect. They have a few varieties of waffles, tiny pancakes, crepes, bubble tea and something called deep dish waffles that I am very keen on trying soon.<br/><br/>We were there for dessert though, so we ordered some chocolate pancakes and 2 types of chocolate waffles. I have paid no attention to the names, but they were all excellent. The waffles were crisp on the outside and soft in the center, just like it should be. The chocolate sauce was thick but wasn't overdone. <br/><br/>The little pancakes were just terrific. I absolutely did not expect them to be any good, but they did more than just serve as vehicles for the sauce and other toppings. This is a new place in Besant Nagar among the plethora of food chains. The place is small and minimalistic with good ambience. You'll find the refreshing artificial grass, interesting graffitis all around the place.<br/><br/>As the name of the shop suggests, we tried 'Chocolate Lovely Pancake' which is new in their menu. The pancakes tasted great with mouthwatering chocolate sauce flowing over the pancakes. The blend of chocolate and the toppings were great! But, the quantity was less to our liking.<br/><br/>Then , we tried M&M Waffles which is priced slightly on the higher side. M&M fans will simply love this waffle!<br/><br/>DO NOT TRY DEEP DISH PIZZA. It is simply overpriced and doesn't taste great at all. On top of it, the quantity is very less. Avoid Pizzas if you drop in here.<br/><br/>Overall, it's a great place to chill-out in an evening with your friends with some lipsmacking pancakes.

The first thing you will note is the simple yet cool interior. They have a decent varieties in the menu board and the price is not abysmal unlike other waffle/pancake outlets. The staff is quick in preparing the orders and you can tap your toes to some fine music. The ice teas are pricey but imo they should be tasted at least once. Go for the crepes with Nutella and you will not regret

I am a big fan of pancakes so decided to check this out recently!<br/><br/>It’s located on the same lane as Burgerman and Atte glocal cafe. Parking was a little hard on a Saturday evening. They have seating in the outdoors as well as seating inside a small quaint joint. <br/><br/>Opted for their Holla Nutella pancakes because hey, Nutella can never go wrong!<br/><br/>We loved how soft the pancakes were, the Nutella was drizzled all over the pancakes and the quantity was ample. Perfect dessert for an all out Nutella lover. It costed us INR 130 for 6 mini pancakes. <br/><br/>Must try if you’re in Bessy beach. ❤️

Two stars only because of the courteous staff. Otherwise, the waffles aren't up to the mark. Ordered M&M Surprise Waffles, it was nothing but a plain chocolate waffle. Expected a lot more.

New outlet in Chennai, we went for the Holland pancakes which are miniature in size. Don't got for them if you are that kinda person who has a big tummy for desserts! You get to choose between 6/12 pieces plates but I don't think either of them can satisfy your dessert cravings. They also have the regular size pancakes and crepes as well. We had a Nutella mix and cheesecake mix pancakes. They were both delicious 😋 will be going back to try others!

Such mouth watering pancakes. Loved their Nutella pancake., ♥️ Ive heard that there are branches in mumbai and pune. Also they are quite famous. Glad there is one in chennai ❤️

A big fan of their pancakes! They taste delish ❤️<br/>As an ardent Boba lover, I was looking forward to their Hong Kong Cheese Tea. Didn't quite like it. It didn't pair well with the Tea in my opinion. My friends agreed too. The Deep dish was okayish but a little sour to my liking. Definitely worth a try 😁

They have a variety of pancakes like a lot.Their Nutella and maple syrup pancakes are the one I tried, they turned out to be so good and the pancakes were so soft.The maple syrup pancake is the one I will recommend everyone to try it out. <br/>Their service was good and the ambience of the place was also good. <br/>The place is well lit with fancy lights. <br/>Their store manager was not even patient to listen to what we were going to say and he turned out to be the only drawback at the place. <br/>I would recommend this place to everyone who loves pancakes and try them out soon

This is the first of its kind in Chennai ( I mean for premium pancakes ). The ambience is very nice and bright. I had the hola Nutella which is a hot seller and the cheese tea. And the best thing is it is at Besant Nagar beach.

They have a good variety of pancakes and crepes to choose from plus few milkshakes. I tried their red riding hood pancakes which has lots of whipped cream and jam so quite tasty. They don't have any fruit options so don't try looking for any healthy version. The pancakes are tiny so they give either 6 or 12, you can choose accordingly.<br/>The place is near the beach and quite small dining area so you even have option of take aways in case of weekend rush. Definitely worth trying once for guilty desert love.

Superb ambiance. Had holla Nutella and tikka hunger. Was yumm. Must try this place. I had peachy ice tea which was amazing. Even their creeps with vanilla Icecream are good.

The pancakes just melt in your mouth 🤤and compliments all the sweetness from the chocolate. The caramel balls and chocolate chip toppings add a crunch to the entire dish ❤️ we had the chocolate lovely ❤️
