Review Thanjavur Restaurant - Chennai (Madras)

Beach side roof top dinings are always perfect. Food was also equally awesome here Had lasagna, lobster, pizza. Pizza needs improvement other than that other 2 was good

First ever visited here, first and foremost for any beach resort is elegant and cozy ambience. I felt ground floor is satisfied with reception, big open space for drinks. First floor has private party hall and second floor is open terrace. However I felt open terrace is not much impressive ambience other than watching beach from there.. Always beach restuarants are costly(don't blame on menu price). Consider only food quality and worth for penny. I would say decent food taste. However few menu items taste were not good. Especially sizzlers we ordered could see more of rice and masalas besides chicken pieces are very less. Here corporate offers are not encouraged. We negotiated our best, however no luck. Good part is they have leveraged service cost from the bill based on the request. My recommendation, pls work on roof top ambience for cozy look. Went there for lunch. Food, Ambience and Service were good. We could see the sea from where we were seated. Restaurant can easily accommodate 50 guests. No A/C and it's not required. Ample Parking space. Price is little on the higher side but worth it. Rest rooms were neat. Other Services that we noticed: Rooftop restaurant, Vaanam, is available on 2nd floor. It opens only at 7 pm. Private dance floor is available in 1st floor for group booking. Small birthday party hall is available which can accommodate 20 pax. Swimming Pool (not in service).

Had a very good experience dining here . The food was delicious and the ambiance kept us on a beat . Only thing they have to concentrate is on the table service , the service was slow and so much confusions to which table it should be served . Overall it was a perfect place for a good food with family and friends

A lovely restaurant. It has a roof top with a beach view. Ambience 5/5. Great service. And food is good especially the dragon prawns a must try. Cocktails are average.

Amazing location The best view of sea, the cool Breeze, Good food , great vibes, live music Bollywood and Hollywood songs, i visited long back but suddenly saw some videos in the gallery and thought of sharing it. A must visit place.

One of the best place i have visited. It is located in beach side and view is awesome. All dishes are reallyyyyyy superrr yummyyyy 😋 no regrets to visit again. All dishes worth the money. Pls try all thier starters mainly. Update: Went here for 2nd time... We felt taste changed little bit... They have to maintain their consistency...

It is a big place and has totally three floors which is used for dining, private party, seperate pet friendly dining area and a breezy wonderful roof top. Their thin crust pizza is the best I have had in Chennai. A must visit food joint. And on Sunday evenings on roof top there is live music and karoake. My only suggestion to them would be is to add more to their sea food. 1. Lobster 2. Oysters 3. Squid

Its a Great place for a groups on weekdays and weekends. The place is well maintained. The toilets capacity is for only one person. The pool is temporarily under renovation (2019 nov ). The dance floor is small yet good lighting. the terrace has a good beach view. There is a smoking zone . Food is tasty. Prices are decent

Have your food with pure breeze from sea ...The Upper Deck is ultimate with beach on side, moon on top and delicious food on table with light music around your head lightens up romantic feeling. Overall nice ambience and tasty food. One must try if they are visiting or living in Chennai

Pros: - The ambiance is so nice. - Taste is good. - Went with small friends group. So I tried a little more dishes such as chicken briyaaani, barbique, Fenugreek nan (must try), etc Cons: - Little expensive. - They didn't provide a water. We have to buy water bottles from them. It is also too costly (₹60/bottle). They must consider providing normal water.

It's a good beach view restaurant located in Chennai. Dishes were so good and we can explore many continental dishes here. Fish recipes from this restaurant are awesome. It has hall for party and gathering in ground floor. First floor consist of pub with dj and second floor is for beach view and the place is romantic with the sea breeze.
