Venu Balla
It is a chain pure vegetarian restaurant. It is the only veg breakfast restaurant near CTS office, the place is hygiene. The place has ample space for dining however i could see just 2 servers (may be i went too warly in the morning). When it comes to Prices, it seems to be reasonable compared other unworthy restaurants nearby. I ordered idly, vadai, poori and sambar in the morning, they packed it hot and good.
Taste? The taste is just okay for the price. You can even order from swiggy which makes it easy to buy.
Parking? There is no covered park neither for bikes nor cars. You need park your vehicle on the service road.
Verdict: This review is based on 2-3 takeaway orders only. I truly felt, It's one of the good vegetarian restaurant for quality, quantity, price, hospitality and reachability. You can try!

Food providers and cooks in India is treated as equivalent to god. Such hotels r creating Satan's. I ordered chiili parota once and in that instead of parotta they had some old dosas prepared and delivered.<br/>Beware don't order in this resturant

ambiance is not so great,very bad tables and chairs,they also have outdoor seating in the evenings,food was good and very pocket friendly,we ordered for lunch meals and mushroom biriyani and gobi manchurian,at first biriyani was very very spicy and we told the waiter to change it and he did it..at second serve biriyani was okay(3/5).food is good but it receives my negative votes only for the place and way they cook the food,not so great..but its definitely one time try able only for the taste of the food

Though this is very close to my place, had never eaten here coz it looks like a very run down dhaba - but thought of giving it a try the other day while crossing. Wasn't disappointed with the food - we tried idli sambhar and masala dosa to be safe. Both were prepared well and served in good quantities.<br/>Of course there is no ambiance or proper service to look forward to - the chairs are placed outside in a katcha area. Good for those who, like me, enjoy such an experience once in a while.

Aruna Bhavan is a place you can visit if it is the only option available or if you are severely cash-strapped. It is a shed like place located near the sholinganallur bus stop. <br/><br/>I tried idly, vada and poori. I have never ever tasted such a hard idly in my life. I doubt whether it was freshly prepared. And the medhu vada was anything but "medhu". It is really astonishing how could someone provide such a low quality idly and vada even if the cost is low. Poori at least was palatable though the potato masala was tasteless. Sambar and chutneys were good, only redeeming factor. The total cost was Rs 80 for these items which is comparable to any other vegetarian restaurant with better ambiance and better quality food.<br/><br/>On the whole, it was a forgettable experience.

Fast Service, better food quality when compared to other places in the area. At nights it gets a little crowded that too with lottta people who are drunk so beware. The only veg hotel where food is edible in shollinganallur, very suitable for bachelors.
