Review Wangs Kitchen - Chennai (Madras)

The staff were not fast enough to get the order prepared and served to our tables, as 2 other customers were also angry about the delay. The Noodles was good, but the rice was not as expected. The quantity provided was great. It was hard to finish the single dish ordered for each of us. The dessert was not good. Maybe, you can try the "Fried Ice Cream" as an unique dish, but otherwise, the desserts is not a good choice here.

They put chicken pieces in vegetarian sauces. They do this deliberately to hurt the religious sentiments of the people. Do not eat at this place if you are a pure vegetarian.

A small outlet of wang's chain, kind of deserted on a Saturday evening at 8.30pm.We were the only customers and by the time we finished, another family walked in. We tried veg spring rolls, fried rice, veg kung pao sauce and dragon chicken. Everything turned out to be tasty. Price is a bit high, rice portion size seems to be reduced a bit. Service quite fast.

This restaurant is good in fried rice and noodles in which quantity of food is amazing than in other restaurants. Starters are amazing but the only thing is service is bad compare to other restaurants.

The schezwan chicken dry, the manchow soup and the beef bao’s are my all time favourite in wangs!! All three are super delicious. I would suggest not to order and go to the restaurant and have it as it tastes a whole lot better that way.

First time in chennai I went to Wangs Kitchen which was nearer to me..<br/>The taste of the food was completely awesome and serving the food is also good...<br/>But the AC was not working at all when we asked to please switch it on I get improper reply, you can examine where you will feel cooler outside the place than inside the hotel You can examine my situation <br/>And the next worse thing is the bill was not given for first time and asked us to pay through card.. when we demanded for bill he told us “ wait for a while” complete arrogantly <br/>When we asked for suggestions slip, I got a arrogant reply from the incharge.. Please try the roasted beef and phuket fish here.. The roasted beef was very tender and juicy. The phuket fish has a crispy outer layer with its insides very tender. Those two dishes deserved a 5 star rating.

Wangs kitchen especially (nungambakam) never fails us with the authentic Chinese flavourful food 😋😋😋.<br/>I loved each and every dish I ordered the dragon chicken is my all time favourite 😍<br/>Salt and pepper prawns, chicken Schezwan noodels and fried rice were my regular picks.<br/>One disappointing thing desserts were not available at the time I visited<br/>Overall the most promising outlet for Chinese cuisine lovers😍😍😍❤️❤️

Friendly place...the waiters and the manager Mr.Asim welcome you with a smile...we ordered the KungPao and Lollipops, with Chilli garlic rice to go...wrapped it up with Darsaan n ice cream...the food is tasty, and worth the price...will come again:))

I usually get food home delivered from here. Most times the taste is never consistent. The food at times is good but otherwise lacks any flavour and is just bland. I don't understand how can the same dish taste differently. It would really be great if they can bring in some consistency into their food.

Rushed to this place to have lunch before attending a show in Nugambakkam. I like Chinese food especially from Wangs but I should tell you this. The way they have maintained the place sucked big time, there werent anything which I could point and say its neat. We sat on a table at first but felt very uncomfortable as it was filled with stains due to improper cleaning. Then we shifted to another but water was spilled on the chairs and finally I asked someone to help us there. Since it was the only restaurant near by we had to put up with it.<br/>But the food and the staffs concern made upto it. The food was as usual,upto Wangs quality . The staff was kind enough to explain how the gold works and how to use it to gain maximum out of it as it was the first time I was using it.<br/>If the place would have a bit cleaner I'd have given 3.5 but sorry guys you let me down , so only 2.5.

Couple of days back I had ordered a  chicken fried rice & it was not cooked well. I had to throw it out. I was trying to reach the restaurant very badly to complain and with great difficulty I was able to contact Ashwin at the restaurant over the phone, who indeed addressed the issue with great care. He offered to replace the order along with a complimentary side dish + a soft drink which I received today(8/2/2019). Great customer service by Ashwin.

I was craving for some good Chinese food, ordered from wangs - bao paneer and hakka noodles. The noodles i had today were the worst i ever had in my life. Really disappointed as noodles is the basic and heart of chinese dish. Bao paneer was different and felt good. Had to throw away the noodles, felt bad wasting food.

V had a great food wen we visited wangs. Dragon chicken was jus mind blowing. Must try. Chilli garlic chicken also deserves the same. Rices nd noodles are good nd finger licking. Quantity is jus superb. Best chineese restaurant. ♥️🙂

Used to be my favourite Chinese restaurant for a very long time, remembered having fond memories in this restaurant, but past a couple of months it’s been turbulent, especially the service and ofc the food. <br/>The food isn’t upto the standard , price is moderate. Pretty much get for what you order, can be much better if brought back the old charm! It’s much needed!!

Worst ever. Being a regular customer in wangs kitchen. The standards have gone so low. The prawn i ordered was not fresh, may be the day before preparation it was literally stinking. It was more worser bcz it was a family dining. The place was also not clean and the service was also not upto the mark. They did not even have momos which is a basic. Worst ever dinner.

I ordered for Phuket fish. But they could not deliver. They can accept the order but they are unable to deliver the food. Very bad experience. Will never order from Wang's Kitchen again. Disappointing.

I ordered food for home delivery. Ordered a Wang's special Chicken noodles and a Wang's special Veg noodles with mixed vegetables Manchurian sauce. The sauce was extremely spicy but the menu stated it's a mild spicy sauce. Our tongues and track system were burning like hell and i had to resort to other means to cool my system. The veg noodles was pathetic and I was digging into the chicken noodles to get at least a few pieces of chicken. Just an overdose of chilli but no flavoror taste. Overall a pathetic and just worst kind of food I had eaten in years. Never again!!

Ordered a Non Veg Noodles meal and that was sufficiently enough for serving 2 foodies😄 The taste was superb!💯 The Chicken was tender and deliciously cooked and so was the Noodles. Hope to try the other dishes soon

This place tells reasons for not accepting Zomato gold, the waiter was so argumentative that.. for avoiding the Zomato gold.. and also was not clean enough and washroom you can see all the cleaning items in side and no place to wash your hands.. pls take it as valuable feedback or just avoid it like the Zomato gold..

We are kind of regulars at Wangs (various outlets in the city).....My kids love the taste of Noodles and Fried Rice at Wangs. Also the Burnt Garlic Clear soup is one of our favorites. Good place to have Chinese soups and noodles.

Wang's kitchen has surely lost it's reputation the schezwan fried rice I ordered was cold the momos were okay the only thing that made the dinner bearable was the honey chilli baby corn which I loved I think that the place is overpriced for an awful experience

Wangs Kitchen and French Loaf go hand in hand. They are connected via a small pathway. The food is alright with inconsistencies in flavor and texture. The food seems to have value for money,until you taste it. I wish they would work hard on their food instead of such dope marketing.

Had ordered food online. Found the packaging pretty nice. Momos, Manchurian and even the noodles were pretty good. So overall a nice option for Chinese food late at night.

I visited this restaurant last month when I was in Chennai.  Since I am an ardent admirer of Indian Chinese food, I would say I liked this place as  Staff was nice and polite. No frills and no complaints.  Coming to the food it was unquestionably amazing, Ambiance was good as well .. I have also been to their Vellore's outlet & had a good time there too but the saddest part is they don't have any outlet in Delhi. (as I'm a dweller of Delhi.) One of the best places for Chinese fare in south India.

packing needs to improve. don't use cardboard boxes wherein the edges are glued together. they fall apart and the food is exposed to the glue.

This place has very average Chinese food . Off late my experience with this place hasn’t been good. They haven’t maintained a standard. The Manchow soup somedays are extra spicy which would burn your stomach. The portion offered as a part of the Zomato treats are not worthy at all. In all this place was a disappointment.
