Went for dinner with a large (20) person group. The restaurant was amazing. There was a traditional dancer that performed a few times over the course of our meal which also provided entertainment.
Half the group got the fish and meat thali, the other half the veg thali. The food was great overall
The new premium rooms have very comfortable beds and feel high-end. The rest of the resort is still being renovated, but the construction didn't bother us (but that might be because we were only staying one night). The staff were very friendly, and I understand why some call this the "local's hotel"
