Review Sultan Restaurant - Chennai (Madras)

This is a small restaurant with seating capacity of around 20-25. They offer good quality and tasty food for a decent price. I have been here several times and always they kept their standard high. For two, it will cost you approx 500Rs. They also deliver food at your doorstep (3km surrounding) for free, but the order value should be minimum of 300Rs.

One of the best places in Ayanavaram to eat. The rates are pretty decent worth your money. Should hang out here for a good dinner.

Like grill , tandoor...... Burger , Mexican......... Labanese , normal schwarma........ Special schwarma , schwarma platter ........ And many more......

Food here is tasty. Although it takes a while for the food to be prepared. Meanwhile you can keep yourself busy with the television in there. Good for groups.

It is not here anymore.. I hear they have moved to a new location. I have had food home delivered from here, they served good food when they were around. The best food around.

This place is unique for the taste of shawama. Taste of briyani was good and average. All side dishes was also tastes average. Overall i can rate 4of 5 . Good place for visit with family<br/>

When They delivered schezwan chicken in 15 minutes I was amazed but while eating I realised it was precooked and chicken wasn’t fresh. It was hard like rubber and lacked tenderness. When I called the restaurant, manager told me that quick delivery was possible because of less customers. It’s mere common sense that even a good coffee preparation takes 5 to 10 minutes. Please don’t serve frozen meat by just heating it up in the tawa or oven.

♨️Ended up here after for a cousins get together 😁 the place was average the service was fair✌🏻<br/>🍛 We ordered briyani, Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice, butter chicken, butter naan,burger Shawarma and chicken shawarma. Out of which I loved the burger Shawarma and butter chicken and naan it tasted really gooddd🤤. Here the shawarmas comes wid a special offer of buy one get one free everyday. The prices were okay ✌🏻

I ordered chicken tikka masala and plain rotis. Tikka was mild spicy with boneless chicken. Taste was as expected and quantity will serve two. Semi gravy in nature. Rotis could be much better. They were too hard to eat.

Ordered pepper barbecue for lunch. Chicken wasn’t fresh and lacks tenderness. Taste was below average and wasn’t hot because of late delivery. Only positive is delivery boy who was courteous enough to apologise for delay.

I have ordered the grill Chicken and chicken biryani from this restaurant today. I never ate like this chicken before. It's half boiled and raw smell comes from that.<br/><br/>Request for zomoto - don't suggest like this place to any one.. <br/><br/>I through the food to garbage..

Ordered through FP. Dragon chicken is so tasty and roti is big , thick but good. Hats off to their customer service. They delivered promptly even when it was raining heavily in my area.

Ordered food yesterday from Sultan and it was like a surprise to get the food in less that 30 minutes. Thoroughly enjoyed the food.<br/>Fish finger was just made to perfection and should say their mayonnaise tasted rich.<br/>Special briyani was flavored differently and was yummy. Deep Fried pieces were soft. Must try. <br/>A sumptuous and a complete meal experience delivered to door. I will suggest this place repetitively. <br/><br/><br/><br/>

This one very near to my home so when ever we want to go and have food near house this would be our one of the choice . To say about taste its good when compared to other hotel in our locality and price is also moderate , ambience is good not excellent.. take away is the option i would always prefer from this hotel..overall experience with this hotel good :)

Went with my cousins for a snack as we already had heavy iftar we initially wanted to taste just the shewarma and try out barbecue, the shewarma was moderate but the taste of the barbeque made us order more ! The sweet corn soup was excellent it had more of chicken than soup and it tasted super . We then ordered chicken fried rice and biriyani fried rice was well cooked and had right amount of spices and biriyani tasted good not excellent though overall we had nice time and came out with our tummys full we could barely walk and it's comparatively cheaper compared to other restaurants😃hope to visit soon

Went here with my team for the lunch ordered one full grill chicken one chicken biryani and two veg briyani. Chicken biryani is ok but veg briyani is really superb and spicy too. Finally ordered ice cream 🍨 but very much disappointed by the quantity of the serves.

Sultan Restaurant is one of the very few good restaurants in this area. I visit this place regularly for shawarma and arabian food. I never felt difference in quality in all my visits. If you are mobilising through bike then its fine else if you are there by car definitely you would struggle for parking.<br/><br/>Food Quality - 4.5 /5<br/>Ambience - 4/5<br/>Service - 4 /5

They serve amazing food at a reasonable price. The platters are amazing, shawarmas are great. A good place to go with family and friends. The only problem if you are coming with a big family is the parking. The restaurant is near to ayanavaram depot... One of the best Arabian restaurant... Shawarma and pepper bbq is just awesome... Well priced... Good deals in Groupon and food panda... Good for non vegetarian in the locality

Food is good, service average and billing strange. No cards below 200. From where did that rule come from. Anyways good for one time visit. Good luck guys.

Had dinner with family here.. Since its close to our house we prefer this place so that we can walk back even if its late at night. Visiting this place thrice and nothing has changed.. The food and service was awesome. Good to see a lot of people coming in. Taste and quantity of the food has its new level. Ordered schezwan chicken and egg fried rice, chilli chicken and naan.. Naan was soft and meat was tender.. Will be visiting this place often as usual

A perfect place to start up this kind of a multicuesine restaurant....something ayanavaram was lacking for a long time....<br/>Small place with some 5-6 tables seating capacity...but the interiors are nicely done....looks elegant....nice posters of various forms of chicken being eaten in India....!<br/>id just run through the various foods id love to eat here--been here so many times--that im a fan of this place....<br/><br/>Soups are nicely made here.<br/><br/>Starters-chicken tandoori and umbrella chicken.....Umbrella especially the sauce is really amazing.<br/><br/>Chicken shawarma is something you cannot miss out here....great tasting mouthwatering ones!<br/><br/>fried rice and noodles are also nicely done....even roti and any curry - i was quite surprised at the wonderful taste of their curries and superb crispy rotis.<br/><br/>American chopseuy is another thing thats  must try....superbly done...with a thick tomato based paste...and a fried egg on top....<br/><br/>Chicken biryani--- not a good choice here...chicken pieces are fried...they drip in oil....rice also not good.<br/><br/>food is great...the prices are cheap...and ambiance good.....worth coming for many a meal here...

Dont ever have a mutton sheek kabab in this restaurant... worst taste... but showerma was comparetively good... theam of the restaurant is good except the washing room...

Good Food, good service and hygienic the food was just superb and came on time. The entrance needs to be spiced up with new paint and chairs.
