I always buy from the small outlet outside Fivestar classic. This is my favorite Biryani place! The spice level and overall taste is just perfect every time. The enna kathrikkai or brinjal curry accompaniment is the absolute best! Chicken and mutton roll are also good. Mutton samosas also taste very nice here.

One of the best basmati biriyani in ECR. Grill chicken and their mutton samosas are must try!!! Take out orders are given within minutes..
NAVAN K
The best dish would be their grill. The briyani and 65 is a nice combo. Fried rice is also good.

Food tastes very good, especially grilled and kebab varieties. It is in a prime location in ECR. Easily described menu and respectful staff make it even more better. It is recommended to all who would love to enjoy grilled and kebab dishes at budget price.

The hotel has no visibility. Only a shop is visible. But the hotel is on the first floor. Once in, it has a nice ambience. Food is good. An underrated place with good food and a peaceful ambience. Good for slow eaters like me
Kamesh Krishna
It has a very good ambience. The biriyani here is average but the shawarma is one of the best shawarma you can get in Chennai. The Kebabs here are also something you should try to get that perfect Arabian taste.

Awesome briyani, kids will enjoy having this briyani, leg piece fry fantabulous, rolls r too good. Service also good. Packing done in a neat way. Love to order from here.<br/>

Was here today hoping to do a quick meal. Since they operate more as a take away joint, I got a packet of mutton samosa to eat and chicken biryani and mutton sukka for takeaway. <br/><br/>The biryani was just about average and the meat was too stiff. The sukka was slightly better but far from the tastier alternatives available in the city. <br/><br/>Mutton samosa was warm and crisp, but could not really bite into mutton chunks in it. <br/><br/>All of this cost me INR 375 and unlikely that I try anything beyond the samosas again.

I would give a 0 rating to this. VERY POOR AND RUDE SERVICE.<br/><br/>Everytime i order Seeraga samba biriyani, they call me and say that it is over and ask me if i wanted Basmathi biriyani.<br/><br/>This time, i told them that i do not want Basmathi and asked them to cAncel my order.<br/><br/>Instead they accepted it and i was asked to pay a 75/- cancellation fee. <br/><br/>

Bhuvanabhuvi94
Very I ordered biriyani n kadai chicken and bread halwa.. Such worst tasty I had ever ate.. Bread halwa is very worst I never ate those kind of worst halwa in my life.. N then the kadai chicken is full of raw chilli very worst taste that also.. Even my doggy won't eat that chicken😤😈.. There is no salt no taste anything very worst.. Briyani is just OK will give 2✳️ 😥Pls don't ever<br/>order bread halwa and kadaai chicken 😫
Foodman
Ordered Chicken Biriyani and it was fine. Rice was not flaky but the flavour was good. Chicken was too dry. Gravy was a bit tangy but it was not bad and it is a pocket friendly place.
The Hungry Chennaite
Take way special mutton biriyani tasted sweet and sour. There were enough mutton pieces, spice level was good but the biryani was too oily. The brinjal chops was tasty and saved the day. To much for 160 Rs! Will not recommend it to anyone.
Raj Shrikrishnan
It was a take away restuarant, ordered for a seeraga samba (rice variety) Naatukozhi(hen) chicken biriyani and a mutton roll. I am damn sure the chicken was a broiler one. Taste was awful. It was just like a masala rice with a low quality seeraga samba rice. Mutton roll was ok.
Goutham Rajan
Worst behaviour by the people who work there<br/>Doesnt even mind the customers they think as if they are the only hotel in india zero rating👎🏻<br/>

It's a nice takeaway joint.<br/><br/>If you're not on a diet you should try the chicken Roll here. The bread crumb batter fried kind. It's truly amazing. <br/>Since it's right next to the supermarket, you should buy yourself a "Rani- Orange flavoured drink" and have the chicken Roll.<br/>Bryant could be a lot better.<br/><br/>Really nice.
Shathish Frank
The food available here is quite tasty with decent price tag. Even the Chinese and tandoori styles are available here with good taste. seafoods are fresh enough. The service is nice. <br/>In short. *it's a restaurant which fits everyone's wallet.*

I wanted to try new biriyani tastes. So I went on a for a ride in Ecr. That time i saw Royal biriyani only take away available. Normal taste not so good but still can try . correct quantity of biriyani.
Food Mad Dillip
This review of mine is purely based on a take away order. Ordered 2 chicken Biryani & Gobi chilly. Order took a lil extra time. But the taste was so good that it really worth the wait. Delicious & flavorful Biryani cooked to perfection. Even the Gobi chilly was very good for a Biryani joint. Reasonable price range. Recommend.
Shamik Sengupta
Super rude service. I called to order my lunch and the person on the line didnot even let me go beyond the first item and rudely said he cannot deliver just one item. So much for customer service! I had 4 items to order and if they cannot do home delivery then they should just drop this option from zomato.
Ashraf
The Chicken Keema stuffed Roll, Mutton Keema Roll are OKAY! Chicken wrap is also good. In my opinion, the quality of chicken/mutton, Taste are excellent. its spicier but.. Recently stopped by there, they are not accepting cards below 200 Rs. One more time, when I bought the Pista house Haleem they charged extra amount from the original amount that was in the pamplet by "Pista House Triplicane" Hence I am giving poor ratings,

This sunday i restricted my search for biriyani arround adyar and ended in royal biriyani. This branch is only take away. Located on the ECR road thiruvanmiyur. Very very small outlet but neat and hygenic.👍👍👍👍<br/>Packing - good but biriyani rice got compressed to each other and spoilt the softness of the rice. Quantity is inadequate. Can make the box little bigger and concentrate on packing to make it worth for the money paid.🙏🙏🙏<br/>Taste - decent and standard and no wow factor. Not warmth. Mutton pieces ok but bony. If hot and packing is good may have an eXtra taste, think so.😐😐😐<br/>Brinjal curry is awesome.👌👌👌👌<br/>Curd rice - nice , good option☺☺☺ <br/>Will try their bread halwa, seeragasamba rice biriyani and dine in outlet for hot biriyani at pallavakam.🤔🤔🤔 <br/><br/>
Vardini Sukumar
One of the famous briyani shops in thiruvanmiyur. They have decent tasting briyani's. The quantity and quality is good. <br/><br/>The curd rice from their menu tastes so good that I have went to their briyani outlet just to buy curd rice and bun halwa. <br/><br/>They even have sweet beeda's packed in a small box and they are yummy too!!!

I've been not writing here for the past 2-3 weeks. Shifting residence is not an easy task. Settling down slowly in the new place and it is quiet difficult to explore the food scene in the new area when there is hell lot of task to do at home. Things are finally in their place and I was craving for some biriyani. After shopping for groceries, saw this place in front of a super market. Decided to do a take away (and later found out that it was the only option). Got a mutton biriyani and a portion of bread halwa.

After shopping for groceries, saw this place in front of a super market. Decided to do a take away (and later found out that it was the only option). Got a mutton biriyani and a portion of bread halwa.<br/><br/>Positives first. Long grains, perfectly flavoured, well cooked and tender meat, an egg, little tangy dalcha that paired up well with the spicy biriyani and pretty decent portion for a normal eater. Now far the negatives, well only one negative aspect which brought down all the positives. Biriyani was not even warm. I picked up the box by 1.30pm and started having it by 1.50pm. If at all the biriyani was hot, it would have checked all the boxes of a perfect biriyani for me. The bread halwa was nothing worth mentioning. The bread was not fried or toasted and it tasted like soaked in sugar syrup. A portion of mutton biriyani and bread halwa summed up to 220 bucks. If at all the biriyani was hot or atleast warm I would say its worth the 180 bucks. They also have lots of quick eats on the display. Will try them some time later. It looks like they also have a dining space in palavakkam. Should check in there to try the hot biriyani.

Every time I visit Five Star Classic supermarket, I do not fail to stop by Royal Biriyani to grab some good short eats :) . Royal Biriyani has two outlets - one in Palavakkam - a dine in and take away place and the other in Thiruvanmiyur - just a take out place (you can stand and eat those cutlets and rolls if you are badly hungry though ;) ), right in the complex of Five Star Classic. This place is highly visible form the main road and it's a no brainer to locate it. They share parking space along with Five Star Classic and hence there are absolutely no issues for parking. Also, young folks who usually turn back home from work stop by and grab a cutlet or 2 to munch use the vast parking space devouring into the cutlets and rolls while staring at the passers by :).<br/><br/>The Thiruvanmiyur outlet sells short-eats, packed biriyani parcels - chicken, egg, plain, prawn and also veg, chicken sides like chicken 65, chicken lollipop, prawn gravy, chicken gravy and sometimes some kebabs. But they majorly focus on the short-eats. They sell mutton cutlets, chicken cutlets, sometimes prawn cutlets, fish rolls, chicken rolls, chicken katti rolls. Their cutlets are to die for. They are literally oil free and when you take a bite of it, it tastes devoid of potato. Their fish rolls are amazing too - you can savor small pieces of fish as you devour the roll. I wouldn't really recommend the chicken 65 - most of the times I buy them, I find them to be hard and a bit dry. The chicken lollipop is good stuff though - comes with the masala on top with rings of onions and lemon on top and it is always delicious. The chicken biriyani is good on most days. Their seeraga samba mutton biriyani - although that's what it is most famous for, failed my expectations. It was a tad too oily. But apart from that, it was way too good. Prawn gravies are always good. It is really spicy and palatable to the taste buds. Sometimes they have curd rice, bread halwa, carrot halwa and kheer on weekdays - they have all these 3 items on Sundays for lunch. Their biriyanis are usually cooked in the Tamil Muslim style and so are most other dishes like curd rice (sprinkled with pomegranate seeds) and the kebabs. <br/><br/>During Ramadan they serve special items like Haleem from Pista house and a few other Ramadan delicacies. A very pocket friendly place, especially if you are looking at treating your friends at home. The short eats are a bit highly priced, but the rest are nominally priced. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for some good biriyani at a pocket friendly price. <br/><br/>PS : They don't do door delivery. You only have the option of picking your food from their outlet!
Venkat
Happen to find this place while searching for Haleem. You get Pista House Haleem here packed in containers they get it from Triplicane oulet. The taste was fair definitely not like the ones you get in Hyderabad.

A small place located near Five Star Classics on the EC Road. No seperate parking space available for this place, but I don't think that is needed too as this place has only take-away and door delivery option. No dine-in available. Their branch at Palavakkam only has dine-in option. But since this place is located right near my house, I prefer buying briyani here. <br/><br/>We usually order large quantities of briyani here whenever relatives visit our home, or if there's any function in our home. Never have we been dissapointed with the quality nor the quantity. They provide enough number of options for side dishes as well. The bread halwa for dessert is perfect!! The rice is cooked to maximum perfection, with enough number of pieces! <br/><br/>So far I've bought chicken/mutton briyani, mutton samosa, all chicken related side dishes and bread halwa....nothing has dissapointed me so far!

Specially known for their tasty biriyani but only one piece chicken was their and the raita was missing ..other than that it was simply amazing
Ashwin Ramesh
We ordered biryani for 50 people and they kept up their word by serving us some great biryani and the chicken was very nicely cooked and everyone enjoyed the food , the price was also very reasonable it was a great take away

This place is in palavakkam and has a small outlet in rto as well.Mostly no parking available.Taste of food is okae.Service is prompt and good, except for a few times.Grill chicken is something you may eat over here.

Decent take away place, as the name suggests its a biryani focused place. However, the biryani is not great compared to the stiff competition. Useful for people who want lightning fast delivery. That being said, the pre-packed items aren't always hot. Chicken 65 is pretty decent.
Pravinth Samuel
Biryani is acceptable but other items are too salty for my taste. Food is already packed so if you want a quick takeaway without the wait, this is ideal. It is also located on ecr next to five star supermarket.
ALPO
The takeaway counter they have next to 5 Star supermarket has a good selection of kababs, kati rolls, biryani and a variety of other snacks and finger foods. The biryani is not the best available in the area, but is acceptable for the price paid. The kababs and other items are good, but over the years the prices have been raised to unreasonable levels. They have a restaurant about 1km down the road, but tends to cater mainly to intoxicated customers in the evening, and can be a little rowdy at times. Afternoons might be better, but I have visited only in the evening. Not a family restaurant! Okay for a bunch of guys though. For families I would suggest visiting the takeout counter.

Totally Waste...Dont try...Worst restaurant ...No Ac and worst ambient. poor service..they dont knew the customer value..My humble request dont try this..i couldnt enter 0 rating..so i hav given 1 rating
Vinay Aravind
Probably the best biryani home delivery/takeaway joint in the area. Tasty rice, tender meat, excellent brinjal curry, and good side-dishes (particulary the mutton sukka and chicken 'leg fry').
Sriramks85
Good biryani, side dishes are tasty, good if u live around , lazy but wanna eat good biryani on some Sunday afternoon

The chicken and mutton biryani here is one of my favourites on the ECR. Spicy rice and tender meat! It has the taste of famous road side biryani! Must try!
