Remember the milky way ice cream shop right opposite to Abhirami mall? Yeah it’s one of my favorites and I’ve been eating ice cream from there when I was little kid, years have passed by, new ice cream joints have grabbed our eyes but then there’s always something missing.
Milky way gives you that sense of completion and satisfaction which other ice cream shops have failed to give me, I’ve never wanted 30 different flavors, I’ve never wanted ice creams to be fancy and I certainly did not want them to be way costly. All I wanted was to get a different feeling and sensation every time I ate the same flavor and milky way does exactly that.
The richness of the ice creams, it just sweeps me away every time and I look forwards to that every time I go to milky way. There’s nothing better than a nice choco vanilla dip in your hand, trust me you’ll love it.
This place has been around for quite a while and serves good ice creams . I have tried most of their ice creams and all tastes well. This review is for yesterday where we had fruit falooda , banana split and the titanic ice creams . Finally I also laid my hands on a choco vanilla mix small cup. Loved the ice creams generous with fruits , nuts and good serving . Pricing is reasonable and ambience and staff are good and attentive.
Please note that they have shifted from their old location to bang opposite on the first floor . In this area I believe it’s a good joint to either hang out for a ice cream or order it online too .

Yummy falooda and chocolate softy ice cream I usually go there once in two months for these two. U can have a small Get together with ur friends and can have fun. The only drawback is the space of the parlour other than that everything is good.

This is one of my favorite places in perambur.. A lot of icecreams to choose from.. But one thing I don't like about the place is, it's mostly crowded.. It's quite a small place..

4 years and I'm still visiting this place without hesitation but with comfort and delight al the time. Guess what I don't come out disappointed ever. Good quality ice cream gets served here for nominal price. I'm thorough with the menu and hope they revamp it soon. 😝 I sincerely recommend this place if you like better quality ice cream.
It's a good place around Perambur for ice creams. There are better places in chennai but since I'm from Perambur and sometimes have to settle for what I have around me I visit this place. Their Rainbow Sundae is my favourite ice cream and it costs ₹95.

I visit this place occasionally. I had strawberry delight, creamy vennila shake and few more ( I don't remember the dishes exactly, its been months since I visited this place) Not only the softies, Ice creams are good but the hot dishes are also good. Worth giving it a try.
Ambience: cool, quiet & decent too..
Price: It doesn't empty your wallet , the dishes are worth for their cost.
Service: Good.

Been there n number of times.... It's a better place to relax and spend some quality time. Pricing is comparatively better and we get a rich flavoured ice cream. They maintain the same quality for years.
This place!! Hands down destroys every other ice cream parlor in the 20kms radius the true definition of ice cream(basically u get more cream yummy). The sheer smoothness of the cream will make u roll your eyes. Toppings are good not that great since they don't trickle down. The only issue I have is that they use one particular base for every ice cream on the menu, if they can somehow come up with a dynamic setting but still retaining their signature smoothness I will become fatter. I have not even Come to the best part, the friggin price, top of the line will cost u around 180 to 200 bucks there are 50 ice creams under 50 rupees. Case closed milky way you are on a splendid ride. Take my money.

Though in the ice-cream scene for about 20 years now and being insanely popular in my childhood, it took me a huge mind-shift to start enjoying their ice creams. Because I didn't like it that orange ice cream is not "orange ice cream"; it is vanilla with orange syrup. butterscotch ice cream is not "butterscotch ice cream"; it is vanilla with butterscotch syrup.
So if you can't get over this, then you're not going to enjoy it one bit. It was over the years that I came to love the texture of that vanilla base. And learn how to take each spoonful of ice cream along with the syrup of the chosen flavour. Yet, sometimes, a good part of the syrup sinks to the bottom, and the last bit of ice-cream in the cup becomes inedible because the syrup concentration is too strong.
Ate here after many years, and I realise I still enjoy it. Orange Delight (Rs.40), Lemon Ripple (Rs.40), Butterscotch Caramel (Rs.50), and Nutty Mania (Rs.95) were all enjoyable. My wife was recommended Nutty Mania because she wanted the "ice-cream with the most nuts". I didn't like Fruit Punch (Rs.95), though, because of the gelusil-ish strawberry ice-cream taste. All ice creams are very filling, and great value for money.

WATCH OUT:
The entrance to this outlet is a little precarious. You have to climb a wobbly wooden plank followed by 2-3 steep steps.
A couple of people tripped and one fell, so if you're with elders, be extra careful.

I've been visiting Milky way for a decade now. It's always been once of my go to places with family. As always the deserts are really good and you have a wide range of deserts, shakes and even snacks to choose from. This outlet is quite small and is located on the 1st floor. Overall it's a good place.
The shop is open till 11:00pm people who still love softy this is a heaven for them. They even serve waffles for for waffle lovers and some combos too. The ambients is not trendy but who cares if they offer ice creams at wonderful flavors and taste. Softies are stuff from the 90's good to see this shop in middle of cold stone ages. It's a happy feeling when you see that machine piping the rich and smooth ice cream it's a treat to watch.
I am going to this ICE Cream shop from past 8 years, they are serving very fresh ice creams not frozen. The taste of each one is nice. Lots of varieties wr can taste there. And the service is very good.
Idhu Namma kadai.. the one spot for comfort food. Kids always love this place. This place has seen both my ups and downs. I am unable to imagine a situation that cannot be improved by icecream and burgers..😀

The original ice cream without edible oil is provided ,the price is little high but you really eat the ice cream instead of frozen desert
It’s in first floor, the day we went lift was not working so have to take stair from the back side…. A good place too hang out mostly not crowded and they have a good variety of Ice creams n waffle & snacks…. Taste was good…. Overall not so expensive can enjoy here
Awesome!!!! They have a wide variety of icecreams, fastfood and waffles! Their Richie rich icecream and kitkat waffle was just too good. A good spot for friends and family meet-up. Great ambience
