Wide variety of non vegetarian Chinese options and a good place to have a drink or two with friends
good food... both in quality and quantity...
This is a big resturant easy to locate and more a kind of bar cum resturant. The food is too moderate. And they are confused about the cusines. The chinese dishes were okay and Indian was better. Thats all. Need to improve a lot.
It's hidden gem in adyar
Must try hotel at adyar but definitely not for family
It's good for friends because black pearl bar attached with it
Ambience was dark , red light all over please don't bring kids
Chilli beef - it was soooo soft like chicken, one of best beef have tried so far , it made of good spice πππ
Dragon chicken - it's beauty of rice bowl I ordered seeing people suggestion really far far better than many Chinese restaurant πππ
Chicken fried rice - it wasn't great very plain can't find any taste π but great quantity π
Ambience 4/5
Quality 5/5
Quantity 5/5
Good food and ambience... Visited this place twice so far..Not very crowded... Drinks also available..I loved the Chinese chopseuy here. Also recommend dragon chicken.. will definately come again...
I love this place to bits and the chef has never ever disappointed me .... Been 7 years since I started frequenting rice bowl and it's still easily one of my favourite places in Chennai .
May not be a very fancy place , but has reasonable pricing and super tasty food.
One should try their dragon chicken , chicken chilli kebab , chicken Manchurian dry, chilli beef, chopsey, fried wonton and butter chicken masala for sure...
It's one of those places that concentrates on the quantity and quality of the food rather than crazy advertising... Its been around for donkey years and it's quite evident as to why .. !!!
good food, good ambience. I have always enjoyed it.Will recommend it to anyone who wants good food and fun times. Very convenient location. Love it
Killer, ain't no place like it. Crazy good. San got laid because his date loved the food soo much. Loved it. Will visit again. Recommends to all
"3.5-4"/5 actually.
I go this place every time i visit one of my clients in Adyar. This place has lots of potential to be one of the better Chinese restaurants in Chennai but i don't think the management wants to take any further step to take it to the next level. This restaurant is partially attached to a hotel (i guess).Β
Menu: its all Chinese and you can find almost every Chinese dish on the menu.
Taste: its a 3.5/5
Quantity: again, Its a Chinese restaurant and so its a 4/5
Service: pretty good although you'll not fine many waiters there, the ones that are present there put much effort to attend everybody. 3.5/5
Ambiance: Low lights, No background music, good location. people an have some good conversation here. 4/5Β
I'd definitely visit again.
Had an excellent time here. Best chopsuey they have. Ambience is good too. But kinda overpriced. Will visit there again for the tasty food they serve (Y)
Visit this restaurant for the awesome pan fried noodles. The American Chopsuey is also great. Ambiance great, service okay. Price is on the higher side, so it is better to visit is a group as the food quantity is almost 2 servings per plate.
Excellent food and pretty decent drinks. It's not cheap. But the food is terrific. Was reminded of the time when fast food first came to chennai. Great pork and beef.
Service is not that great. But I guess they are traditional and just can't help themselves.
Home delivery radius is not that great
Had a nice, hearty lunch here. Ordered an American chop suey and a crispy fried pork (I always look out for dishes that are labelled 'crispy fried'!).
They arrived not long after, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the chop suey used the right kind of noodles, and not just some random dry noodles that most Chinese restaurants seem to be using these days. The omelette was done just right and the gravy was nice and thick.
The pork was very tasty and made for a great starter, though it could have been crispier.
I also had some veg Sichuan noodles and Gobi Manchurian, both of which were spiced and cooked right. The Gobi in particular had a nice texture and flavor to it. A refreshing change from the over spiced and undercooked Gobi Manchurian I usually find.
Ambience was decent and the service was good.
Went there last Friday, the staff were courteous and explained the menu with suggestions. I recommend the chilly beef and the chicken noodles, better than wangs kitchen or wonton. Worth the price.
One of the hidden gem at Adyar. Restaurant serves lip smacking pork and beef varieties. I have been dining here more than two decades but the taste as well as the quality is always the same. Service is very quick and good.
Ordered takeaway in rice and bowl. Fried rice was wonderful with great flavours. Butter chicken was also very tasty and fresh . Chilli chicken was great as well . Naan was a bit soft fir my taste . I would rate the overall experience 5/5
The place is a bit dingy and could do with better lighting. They serve alcohol also; be forewarned. But they have a separate bar for this. It takes some amount of time too to ready the dishes. The food is good, as is the quantity. The prices are a bit high. Parking is available for 2-wheelers.
Nice food they serve. They have an attached bar. Rate is quite reasonable as well. Bar has very small floor area. But worth it.
Great food for affordable prices. There are two choices when choosing your food here Chinese or Indian. Indian food is amazing try it.

With few Chinese recipes and nice taste. But not advisable for family dining
Good for evening chit chat with friends not with family though
Good starters with drinks at reasonable price.
