You do it right when you do it sweet.. last night craved to have something sweet and savoury.. while going through the list of bakeries around the city, I got to get to Casa Dolce.. I've always been a fan of Ebony n Ivory concept.. so I found the same in the list of brownies.. oh God! When the package arrived the smell of the freshly baked brownies just took over my senses.. it's damn tasty.. scrumptious is the word! Crispy outside and gooey inside. Uuff.. m speechless.. must try guys.. it's worth the money. Shall order more once this set is over. Moreover the packaging is super posh.. makes it look super expensive.. kudos to casa dolce!

A Baker myself, I could easily say this is one of the best brownies I’ve ever had in Chennai. Extremely soft and AMAZING TEXTURE on top, flaky chocolaty texture and soft brownies (yes I’m aware I mentioned texture and soft twice) I’m pretty sure it’s made with pure butter. Priced very cheap, I got a set of 4 brownies and I loved loved loved them! Yummiest ever. <br/>Nobody asked me to write this review and I only come forward to write if the food was really this good. <br/>All the best to whoever started this 😚

I visited the setup at Mogappair road which is a house and has no board .Took us a lot of time to figure out the place .<br/>We got a pack of four brownies .It was extremely sweet .Despite getting negative reviews for the sweetness the company should understand the same and ensure the improvement is brought about ,which i don’t see is the case .Also no customisation option available and number given was not working .Bad experience

Casa dolce. After reading people raving about it, decided to try.<br/><br/>I got the assorted brownie box. It had 2 sinfully chocolate brownies and 2 ivory brownies.<br/><br/>They were literally melt in the mouth brownies, one of the best I have had in recent times. Not too sweet but perfect like premium brands. I liked the ivory one as it had two flavours complementing each other with every bite.<br/><br/>The assorted brownie box is a good deal for these premium brownies. It had a nice velvety blue packaging. <br/><br/>I would like to try out other brownies again.

I had ordered Assorted box of Cheese cake brownie,ivory brownie and choco brownie based on the reviews of previous customers and they are nonetheless to say terrific. <br/><br/>You also have to try Sticky cookie and lemon chees cake as they are really well baked. <br/><br/>The price is very reasonable and you don't have to worry about the taste. For first timers like me kindly give it a chance it is fully worth it.<br/><br/>Full credit goes to the Ms.Shruti who is running the shop and handling the customers. <br/>

First of all let me thank casa Dolce for offering the most delectable, delicious, toothsome and yummy brownies. I know the meaning of the above words are similar, but how could I express my gratification. I was completely blown away. No words to express. <br/><br/>After reading the reviews I was too excited to try them. So I called them last Saturday in the noon but their mobile was switched off. Again I tried in the evening, they picked up. As I was little sceptical in the first instance to try a one kilo box, i checked with them whether they offer anything less than one kilo, she accepted straightway to offer a half a kilo . Even they offered a assortment of brownies, two varieties. I picked them next afternoon. The cost was RS.450 and 4pieces of each variety. <br/><br/>To describe about the brownies. One was chocolate and other one I could not recall the name. Chocolate one was excellent. The texture, taste, moisture content inside the brownie was spot on, it just melted in my mouth. I heated them a little and had it with vanilla ice cream, mama Mia , it was heaven. Second one was more delicious than the chocolate ones. I never had them before in my life but am very sure that I will be having many of those in the coming days. <br/><br/>Thank you Casa Dolce for selling these brownies. I do have some feedbacks too. At first the place is quite hard to locate as there are no sign boards. Second please offer us more varieties of ur spread in assortments and update them in ur menu card. Shame on me for having discovered this place only after 10 years of living in Mogappair! I bet my taste buds are cursing me for keeping them away from Chennai's best brownies. Trust me, I'm not exaggerating. Beautifully thin crust and chewy bites with the perfect crunch interspersed, this is as good as it can get. All the brownies are mind blowing but ebony and ivory is my personal favourite. I'm yet to try the other desserts but with the brownies being a beautiful start, I'm sure to do that soon. <br/>Great job Shruti, keep it up!

If you live in Chennai and you are looking for some brownies, this is the best place to satisfy your cravings. The brownies are not dry nor are they underbaked. They are perfectly done! Ebony & Ivory brownies are a must try. Lemon cheesecake is quite nice too wish but quantity could be a bit more.

This afternoon I had this sudden craving for a nice dessert, something creamy and sweet and cold. No, not ice cream :-) So I Whatsapped Shruti of Casa Dolce, Mogappair with a distress call for pastries, brownies or cupcakes, anything she has to offer a craving soul. She offered me brownies and one last piece of lemon cheesecake for the day. And that piece was in the Spur tank road outlet and I was in Anna Nagar. So I said, ok I'll have the lemon cheesecake sm other day and I'll pick up the brownies this evening from the Mogappair outlet. But she went out of her way to deliver that last piece of cheesecake along with the half kg mix of Sinfully chocolate and Ebony & Ivory brownies right to my home from the chetpet outlet in an ola cab, asking me to pay only for the delivery and the cash for the goodies any time later. And this is just my second order from her! Hats off to this!<br/>And coming to the cheesecake which I couldn't keep in my fridge for longer than 15minutes and hubby and I gobbled it all up. ;-) But the first bite went to hubby and he just closed his eyes for 30 seconds and was like speechless for a minute. Before he could speak, I had my first bite and the sourness of the lime made me close my eyes too for a bit but the crunchy biscuity base of the cheesecake nicely balanced it before we could finish each bite. And it was so refreshing, the lemon, the cream and the coolness in this heat. Wow! Take a bow, Shruti.. Looking forward to many more such exhilarating desserts from you.<br/>Cost - Rs 80 for the cheesecake and Rs 450 for the brownies -5pieces each- 10 pieces total of 1/2 kg.<br/>And the brownies are chocolatey and crunchy and soft, all in one. Omg...!! This place is a delight to brownie lovers... Got a pack of assorted brownies which was around 190 rupees... it's a box containing 4 brownies and it's totally worth the price... The ebony and ivory brownie is the one to watch out for...!!

This has been a long time coming. I personally feel that I need to commend these guys on the amazing job they've been doing. I've eaten almost everything on the menu and have never been left disappointed.  My favourite from the bunch has been the brownies.<br/><br/>These brownies are amazing, the ebony and ivory version of the brownies are beyond what superlatives can describe. I pride myself in being a foodie, and have tried brownies all over the world. Right hand to God, I can assure you that these are absolutely the best brownies I have eaten by a country mile. The quality of the brownie for the price is almost unbelievable. There are many good bakeries in Chennai, both home and independent outlets. However there are very few GREAT ones. I rank Casa Dolce's products with the most elite the city/country has to offer.  <br/>If you have a sweet tooth, I would urge you to give this a try! They even work great to send as gifts over long distances. I've taken a box of brownies with me through over night travels (bus/train) & long flights. They taste just as good. Hello Fellow Foodies ; Greetings to All ; So I was Browsing thru Zomato for some new Places to Try Gastronomic Delicacies for the Weekend and One Place that was coming back and forth was Casa Dolce ; Read thru all the Reviews written about the Place and also Enquired Among the Foodie Circle ; Most of my friends in the Foodie Circle didn't know about the Place ; Finally took the Plunge and went myself searching for the Place with my Sister ; Being from the Same Locality in Mogappair I was wondering how did I miss this place and after Couple of Frantic Searching Finally Called up Sruthi and found the Place ; But was a Bit Disappointed knowing that the Brownies were Made to Order ; Amazingly Luck smiled upon me and they had a Package of Assorted Brownies of Half a KG Quantity and immediately took it ; On the way Back to Home I was wondering should I go through all this Trouble for the Brownies and what's so special People are Ordering it from Hyderabad or Bangalore Once I reached home Opened the Divine Box and saw that they were no Ordinary Brownies ; They were Definitely not like the Usual Ones we Get in French Loaf or any other Pastry Shop ; OMG they were Heavenly and Literally started a Battle among our Family Members for the Brownies ; They were not Too Sweet and were Amazingly Prepared ; You have to Experience the Delicacies to Enjoy it ; The Brownies were Done ; So what's that Special Ingredient that made these Brownies So Special than the Regular Ones which are Hard and Too Sweet ; Love and the Magical Mothers touch ; So in One Word how would I Describe the Experience ( I guess u would know DBC ; but this is DBB ( Death By Brownies ) ; Kudos to Sruthi the Owner of Casa Dolce ; Let me know what u Guys think about it ; Adios Amigos

The place is run by a friend of mine. Can't tell you what the place is like or anything about its cleanliness or ambience especially since I haven't been to the place. I asked to have my order delivered ( delivery is done in only two places- Mogappair and Egmore). I asked Sruthy to get the chocolate brownies she prepared to Egmore. It costs 850 for a kilo ( roughly 20 pieces) and trust me the brownies are really worth the money. I don't say this out of bias for my friend. I very honestly loved the brownies she serves and is definitely worth placing an order with her if you are looking to host a small party. The brownies are not too rich and not excessively sweet either. She really seems to have got the right mix for these chocolate brownies. I have referred this place to a number of other friends and hopefully they take my word for it :)

One word to tell about Casa Dolce's Brownie YUMMYYYYY!!!!! <br/>Perfect to the core never tasted such a lovely brownie before. Guys please try here at least for once and am sure you'll order again and again from this place.

I recently had a batch of their assorted brownies, thanks to a friend who knew this place. These have been by far, the best brownies that I've ever tasted ! The consistency of the brownie is perfect, with the right amount of crumble and the perfect amount of sponginess.<br/>Each bite of the brownie is a sinful explosion of chocolate in your mouth leaving you with a lingering taste of chocolate for hours. Do try their Ebony and Ivory, the caramel in the brownie is a brilliant addition.<br/>I'd love to try out a lot many more things, now that I know that they have such an elaborate menu. Hoping to order something very soon ! <br/>And oh yes, the presentation is impeccable with the brownies looking just the way they should to compliment their taste.

The best thing that happened to me this week was the mixed Brownie box. <br/>I do not know where to start really. The gooey centered, melt in your mouth Sinfully chocolate brownie, the surprisingly crunchy and yet soft ebony and ivory brownie or the nutty brownie, that is to simply die for! <br/>This girl really knows how to bake. And I will be returning for many more sweet treats from Casa Dolce!

The sinful chocolate brownie - I can have it for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. The red velvet cake is to die for. Luckily for me, a friend visits Chennai ever so often and can pick up stuff for my indulgence. But I do hope Casa Dolce branches out to major cities very soon.

I'm a full blown foodie!!<br/><br/>Lets be honest, Arent we sick of having stale chocolate cakes with nuts that have got so much moisture that it doesnt even crunch up when you bite into them, and that's exactly what's sold in the market today as a brownie! Casa Dolce for the time being atleast only specialises in one thing, Brownies and boy have they hit the right spot on my palate.<br/><br/>Made some calls to Casa Dolce, had to make a choice of what brownie i would like to have, got so confused and was offered an assortment of what they had and said yesss without thinking! You can either pick it up from Multiple locations that are close to your place ( Egmore or Mogappair). I think they even deliver to other places if it's a good order.<br/><br/>So I got my brownie package in a neatly packed white box with the company logo and a stack of assorted brownies i could see through the transparent plastic wrap on top.<br/><br/>As soona as dinner was done, the brownies came out with all the cousins sticking their hand in to get a piece of each brownie.<br/><br/>And the moment of truth, which was the best brownie??? We couldnt decide!!! Every damn brownie tasted fabulous and each of us had one that was our favourite.<br/><br/>The brownies that came in the assortment were the blondie( a white and dark choclate layered brownie), the chocolate brownie( a chocoholic's dream) and the brownie with nuts.<br/><br/>Honest opinion, loved each one of them, but the one with the nuts was my favourite pick. The nuts were not to many but just enough and would come in small mouthfuls just when it gets slightly sweet and cleanses your palette.<br/><br/>The sister loved the blondie for its white and dark mix and worked for her, the majority loved the plain old school, chocolate brownies that had everything to look for in a perfect brownie.<br/><br/>Nice crust formation on top, lovely goey brownie in the centre and perfect sweetness to finish a brownie without feeling sick.<br/><br/>They apparently do bulk orders for birthdays, events, parties or get togethers. Chennai has needed a place like this for long.<br/>Feedback: Open a store or atleast increase delivery in multiple locations across Chennai so it's easier for people on other parts of town, cause i sense a storm coming!<br/><br/>So a big thumbs up and kudos to the Casa Dolce team. I'll be coming back for more!

Quite possibly the best desert place in town, and i've eaten deserts from almost every place in Chennai.<br/><br/>The cakes taste as brilliant as they look, and the brownies are like sex for your taste buds. <br/><br/>Definitely worth a try if you haven't already.

I had ordered Sticky Cookies from Casa Dolce which i heard from a friend will be good. To the best of my knowledge, i have never eaten anything like that in my life. Trust me, i ain't exaggerating. The order was delivered the next day itself and i gave them to everyone in my office and everyone loved it. <br/>And i bet this is one amazing place to get the best brownies in the world.
