The food taste was very good affordable price we had meals and briyani nandu fry and mutton chukka all are best I can say service is not fast still worth the wait if you are person who love to have perfect chettinad food then no doubt you can go ahead... one of best non veg food I had in chennai

Food is authentic, what impressed me was the service. Very Humble and Swift.... Though in a veg, but some good non veg dishes were being enjoyed by patrons. Happy eating.!!! Don't forget to have the beeda at the end.

Tasty food at a nominal cost. A tipical military hotel with a variety of sides. A small restaurant, mostly busy because of its taste and quality. I usually prefer for a take away and enjoy it at home :). Functions between 11 am to 4 pm and reopens around 6:30 to 7 pm and stays open till 11:30 pm. Located in a prime location. Parking could be a concern but currently due to the metro work, got a lot of space around. A must try spot.

All the food are good and delicious me and brother has tasted here mutton biriyani meals prawns and sura puttu we have tasted all are home made style it's very much near to old abirami theatre and near to signal on the one way road. The price is reasonable non AC hotel with 20 to 24members capacity in peak time we need to wait and take our seat.

They are so generous for the money we pay.. Though needed improvement in cleanliness and taste.. They way they cared sounded so good. Love the time.. I went therr with elephant's starving.. And filled the stomach with everything possibly i could eat.. Loved it .. Forgot to click pictures..

Vera level non vegetarian meals. Had non vegetarian meals with mutton brain, surra puttu, prawn pepper fry along with chicken curry, mutton curry, prawn curry and fish curry. Loved all their dishes. Very good food preparation and servings....... Must try place when you vist purasaiwakkam

Compared to taste, price is low. Very good quality and quantity of food. I loved mutton chops gravy and mutton chukka.

I have been trying this place for nearly 10 years their choice of food and meat is amazing.

Where : Sri Ganesh chettinad military hotel, No 7 , Millers road kilpauk, Chennai 10 My actual place of target was different, but the waiter in that shop said inum ara mani neram ahum thambi(at 7.30 PM) , the hunger made me angry so landed in this place which was targeted as fail over place. This is a 50 year old typical military hotel, being brought up in choolai, chennai where ramalinga vilas and ganapathi vilas likr military hotels are there this place didnt surprise me. Very basic to no ambience, but food did taste from decent to great on each items Individual breakups : Chicken biryani (₹110 per half plate) : This is a vfm one. My friend said it was decent, but i loved it. The reason may be after puratasi this is the first biryani i had. For me it was great. Parotta ( 17₹ per piece) : I prefer ramalinga vilas parotta more, this wasnt near to it, it went very well with the Kozhi kolambu that was given. Chicken sukka ( ₹120 ) : This is a boneless one and tasted good.Nalla kaarama iruntuchu. Parrota ku sema pair. This would even go well with rasam sadham. Worthy ! Prawn fry (₹140) : It was good for my liking. I dont like big rubbery prawns. These were medium sized ones. Perfect blend of spices, again will go good with rasam bhoova as per my imagination, i miss rasam 🤕! Podimass (₹35) and full boil(₹15) tasted like how we get in other places. I have always done a take away from this place and this time dine in. Always vfm.

Near my work place Before the place was not that spacious... now it's more spacious but as we know that even small things make huge difference ... Its surrounding interiors are not friendly enough to sit there and eat.. But the people working there are awesom and caring 1 star missed due to the interiors
