Review Coffeetree Cafe - Chennai (Madras)

Staff was very friendly! Food was yummy! Drink was yummy! The flavor of the espresso is more on the sour side, which I prefer bitter, however, they were made correctly and well! We had a very large order with 3 kids and 4 adults!! The staff was 2 people and they were great. Happy the whole time and worked hard to get it all out to us! We had soup, sandwiches and many drinks! Atmosphere was darker than I'd like honestly. And that was the general agreement from the other adults. But it was an enjoyable experience for an out of state patron and we do recommend! Thanks guys!!

Sweet Jesus I love this place. I stop by every time I’m in Frankfort and have something amazing to eat and drink. The staff are wonderful. My photos do not do these biscuits justice. The little cinnamon buns are heaven.

Great vibe from the staff. I had questions and the lady answered and made me want to order everything from the menu! Loved the cozy feel. Only one weird dude but I think he was a customer, but never the less that did not take away from the cool feel in there. Definitely must come back! I got the Affagato(espresso over ice cream)

What a cute little place!! It’s a little awkward trying to figure out where to wait once you’ve ordered. The staff is very friendly. I popped in before a meeting but ended up waiting 30 minutes for just coffee to go. I’ll remember how busy they are around lunch time next time I’m in town.

Great atmosphere lovely staff , delicious pastries and coffee. One of the very few places that's open Sunday evening. When we get there the lady was working alone, she had to take orders, make foods and drinks serve and clean up. It was a big line but she handled it great. Highly recommended

Always a friendly and fun atmosphere. Excellent selection of coffees and food. Bourbon Egg Nog is really good. The live music is always good. Lots of books to read if you want and a selection of stringed instruments on the wall if your so inclined to play one. WiFi can be spotty but it's still decent 90% of the time. 😊

Loved this little place for coffee and breakfast. Great atmosphere, cozy with books, soft furniture, and a tiki bar! Really need to go back for cocktails and live music!

Great place in downtown Frankfort on a street full a little businesses. Nice local coffee shop atmosphere. Tables and comfy chairs are available for seating. This coffee shop offers sandwiches, soups and beer and cocktails on top of the coffee products. Super friendly and helpful. No matter what you are looking for, you should not hesitate to check this place out.

I have been a long time patron of this establishment, and can highly recommend. Anyone that has ever asked me what living in downtown Frankfort is like, my go to reply is "Go have a drink at the Kentucky Coffee Tree Cafe downtown.". Any negative reviews you see here are from folks in a rush from out of town trying to keep up with an itenary for an expensive bourbon tour. Speed isn't the vibe at this location, especially if you don't say the magic words. "HELLO AND PLEASE" If you can master that, you will learn more from the regular patrons here then Google will ever tell you. Not to mention, phenomenal coffee drinks, sandwiches, world class specialty soups, and the very best Cocktails including the best Margarita in Frankfort. I don't hand out praise lightly, check my reviews. Must Stop Spot while in Frankfort. Just remember the magic words.......

Tory was the one that served us you could tell she was backed up with drinks but she was so nice, the drinks where amazing. Her service was awesome we will for sure be back just to get her service.

Love this place!!! The folks there are wonderful, the coffee is great and the food is really good. You might say yeeeah, but how are the soups??? The soups are to die for!!!! If there is a curried soup on the menu for the day, it's a no brainer!!!

This is easily my very favorite place in all of Frankfort. I try to come to the Coffeetree Cafe every weekend as a way to unwind and relax. The staff are wonderful; they’re professional and friendly. The drinks are great and well-priced. The food is always hot and tastes great. The atmosphere is calming, lighting is dim, and there is usually music playing softly in the background. It is a wonderful place to read a book or meet up with friends. 10/10 would recommend!

If you are coffee lover, then this place is a must ! Best coffee's, frappes, salads nd sandwich u can have.. Everything i have tasted here is yummy.. A must try place !!

It's easy to miss this place if you don't look out, it's hardly 200mtrs into Greenways road a small but neatly kept cafe the owner and the chef are such friendly and courteous ppl they make you feel like home and they serve some pretty yummy fresh walnut brownies which is a must try and what more it's absolutely pocket friendly! Will be visiting this place more often, thanks to a friend of mine who had recommended this Cafe.

Never ever miss this place in your life. Quite place with great ambience and most of all cheap and very selective menu. Got to try the desserts. I think the place is underrated. Do visit the place for sure.

This is a cute coffee house on Greenways Road and is almost hidden amidst all the tiny mom and pop shops that surround it. In some ways, this makes it like a secret hideout to escape the hustle and bustle of this often busy street. But once you find this place and settle into one of the cozy tables, you disappear into a magical world of coffee and cakes that the proprietor Vishnupriya puts together. All of the drinks are delightful and the homemade pastries and snacks are delicious. The charming smile of Vishnupriya is also infectious and is almost certain to lift your spirits. She is very bubbly and always engages with her clients. Try it once, and it surely will not be the only time you will be there.

If you ever pass by greenways road, do stop by at Coffee Tree. Easily some of the best dessert I've ever had. The how to bake is a must try! :)

I haven't tasted brownies and frappes together anywhere..I'm a person who doesn't like to try new things..take it from me...this place has THE best food to offer. The #browniefrappe threw my taste buds off by melting into my mouth...the combinations of the dishes served here are amazingly beautiful :") I could go everyday to this place and not be tired of having the same thing over and over!

My dining experience in coffee tree was amazing!<br/>The cakes,milkshakes and the sandwiches are to die for.<br/>The bread used in this cafe is handmade which makes the sandwiches even more special!we tried the Nutella frappe, the brownie frappe, the salted Carmel shake and the chocolate frappe, they were all perfectly made. This cafes milkshakes are the closest we can get to riverdales pop tates milkshakes!😄<br/> I would specifically recommend the half bake ice cream,the cheesecake and the chicken mayo sandwich

This place has got a quiet ambience. Can accommodate about 15 ppl. Decent food, good frappes and sandwiches. It right in the main road, easy to locate tho a small joint.

The place is very cozy and comfortable. The ambience is also nice. The food is amazing!! The breads they use for making their sandwiches are really fresh and yummy. The quantity and quality is quite impressive for that price. The host was very sweet and polite. I will definitely go back for their sandwiches and cold coffee!

Oh wow this place is my new favorite hang out spot! The cold coffee here is to die for! I had a tuna sandwich and wow that was filling! The bread baked is their own and it's really good. Vishnu Priya, the host, is very nice and she gave me a free sample of this amazing chocolate pie that I have to try the next time I visit. Overall, the food is great :)

We ordered a cold coffee, which was really good. The mango crush was too sugary and may be essence added. Tasted like mazaa. The chicken mayo sandwich was fine, filling was good. Service was good. Ambience was good too.
