I always dreamt drowning in donuts. Donuts are my favourite thing to eat anytime and this place serves the best donuts since a long time. All the white chocolate based donuts are amazing and my favourite too. <br/><br/>Price: Reasonable <br/>Worth: 90%

I always go Nuts over their Donuts 🍩!<br/><br/>Black and white 🍩 is one with inner creamy filling that just drips when you bite it over! It's one among the most amazing donuts they have. 😁<br/><br/>Almond crunch 🍩 and Hazelnut 🍩 were also good but not exceptional.<br/><br/>Don't ever FORGET to taste their DONUT ALMIGHTY! Donut is one of the desert everyone likes very much. When those donuts are baked to perfection and hand made to give a perfect taste, nothing more than that is important. Donut house offers such delicious , freshly baked donuts at reasonable price. There is a wide variety of donuts available here and all tastes extremely well, a perfect place to visit with friends & family.

I've tried almost all of their donuts on multiple visits and the Alien, is definitely the most worthy of all the hype! ❤ <br/>Tried their Almighty today, and it made my day! 😍<br/>You get to choose the base donut, I chose the alien with a milk chocolate filing for layer one. And layer two and three consisted of ice cream and whipped cream and a generous drizzle of hazelnut syrup and sprinkles! <br/>Apparently you can replace the whipped cream with another ice cream layer too!<br/>And all this for just 100 bucks, is quite a steal! :)

Their service is not great and so the donuts nowadays. This branch is small compared to their others. Donuts are soggy. They really need to work on the quality of the donuts.

I couldn't taste anything other than sugar. Zero flavor!<br/><br/>Chocolate milkshake was better. I expected it more creamier but the richness of the flavor balanced the slightly runny consistency.

Not a lover of donut but wanna try this place which lies on a busy road which I pass through most of the time and at last visited this place last week with my bestie. No car parking available but can park on the streets nearby or on the road.By the looks of it,the place looked good and was not that crowded. The staff was courteous. Ordered a double chocolate donut with icecream, green apple mojito,donut veg burger and a butterscotch donut. The donuts were so good and mojito was over flavoured and not mild.Overall bill was around 450 which was worth the time spent.

One amazing place to try donuts. Car parking is a problem in this place. The ambience is small and comfortable. Alien is a must try. Prices are pocket friendly.

I have been to this branch just twice with a foodie friend of mine. I'm not going to talk about parking since it's obvious that you have to find some corner elsewhere to park as this one is located in Shanthi Colony.<br/><br/>The ambience is pretty neat and inviting. The first time around, I had the "alien" which is amazing. It has just the right amount of chocolate, with flakes on it and oodles of chocolate oozing out of the doughnut as soon as you cut through it. Damn. I'm salivating now.<br/><br/>The second time around, I tried their chocolate shake and the choco crunch. The shake was weirdly nice. I say weird because I'm still kind of undecided as to whether I liked it or not, to be honest. I tried not to compare it with the dark chocolate shake at Sandy's which is out of this world. As for the choco crunch, it wasn't sweet enough (and this come from someone who doesn't have a sweet tooth!) Plus it kinda seemed to lack something. Didn't like it much.<br/><br/>The shakes could be priced a bit more economically is what I felt. Give this place a definite go if you love chocolatey stuff!

Horrible experience. Placed the order through dinein.in. Ordered recieved on time but the quality of the donut was pathetic. Just thinking about the donuts I feel like puking. Some donuts were drowned in oil. Some others were hard as rock. I ordered a combo, 12 for 10 and God I made the worst decision of the day. I was unable to make out whether a thread like thing on one of the donuts was a worm or not! All donut were either very oily or very dry. My guess: all the 12 ordered donut were hand-picked old stock which are usually thown out to customer on bulk orders. The excess oil is used to hide the old dry bun! This is just horrible. Don't know how we Indians cope up with these things. Health officials should not allow these kind of scamsters to sell stuff. I just wanted to eat donuts on a rainy day and all I got was worm-clad oily old stock dont-know-what!

This is THE BEST PLACE for donuts!<br/>A small and comfortable place.<br/>Good Ambience. Takes only 5-6 mins for an order to come to your table. Alien is the best there! Everything is best. But ALIEN DONUT IS THE BEST! Don't forget to try that when your there!

This lovely place is located adjacent to Subway. I went there on a Saturday evening around 5 ish. It was quite empty and I liked that. The cushions were also shaped like donuts. The waiters spoke pretty good English. I had tried the Alien donut and my friend, Choco nutty. Alien donut is one hell of a treat for chocolate lovers. For every bite I took, there was a blast of chocolate in my mouth. It had a goey chocolate filling. I enjoyed till the last bite. Choco nutty was okay. It had a coat of chocolate and nuts. I wanted to try more but I was full after that one donut. I will definitely visit again with a bigger crowd! My rating for the overall experience is 4.0

Double dark & alien donut with vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream & rainbow sprinkles was just yummmmmmmm. Though they took 5-10mins to serve it. It was worth the wait.

Yayyeee its in Anna nagar finally! Now have an option to buy doughnuts other than from Mcrennett. The newest branch of donut house as on Aug 2015, a neatly maintained place.  I can't resist passing by without dropping in for a doughnut. Can't expect real parking space, so just park in the already congested roadside.<br/><br/>The prices are much lesser than krispy kreme and nothing to complain about the taste they're all pretty good. My all time favourite and standard order being triple chocolate. Good interiors and seating a little different from the other branches I've seen.

Really if u wanna have good donut.. This is the place.. Hot and sugary donuts.. Just melts in your mouth.. It best with freshly Brewed coffee.. Wow.. Wanna chat for long time just go there.. But space is a constraint... Even take aways Worth it..

Not a great lover of donut. I visited OMR branch with friends but never tried to taste it.  It wos Same as any other donut house outlet. myself and my friend were on the way to subway, he just pulled me in. we ordered pack of 6. it wos yum yum.. wanted to have more. after which am kinda addicted to this donut. calm ambiance.

I used to be an ardent krispy creme fan, I have not tried one in chennai though... . So when i first tried donut house in ethiraj salai and was blown by the freshness of the bread and taste of coffee chocolate fillings.. It left me wanting for more... I was really excited to see one in anna nager... Was waiting for the right moment and got a box full of donuts for family.. To my disappointment the bread was just ok and tasted average... Guess from now on will have to grab from ethiraj Salai instead...

Same as any other donut house outlet. Was in search of a place to satisfy my sweet craving post lunch. When I checked in the counter was almost empty. I was quiet disappointed. The staff offered to prepare alien for me in 10-15 mins. Since I was running out of time just grabbed whatever was there in the counter and made 5 for 6 deal. Just tasted the sprinkles alone. It was good. Any day I vouch for the alien. Total bill was 305 which I feel VFM.

Being a colossal fan of Doughnuts, I've always wanted to try donuts in Donut house outlets. Luckily got a chance to visit Donut house last week. Tried out Double dark, White marble and Alien donuts. Donuts were really good and fresh .The outlet was so poky. Staff members, they were really notable and provided quick service.

I went here about 3 weeks back. I wanted to write the review only after tasting most of their donuts. Since then, i have tried out 16 of their donuts:P. As mentioned in the other reviews, the shop is a small one right next to the subway. It is also almost impossible to find a parking space near this place. Regarding the donuts, all of them are good (note the word - 'good', not excellent). The filled ones, to me, are better than the ring ones and gives you quite a sugar rush. The ones that require special mention are - creamfill, custard and rasberry which have become my all time favourites at this place.

Alien's always been my favorite donut! This outlet is much quieter than its counterparts. But at least they don't bug you to get out! <br/>I like donut house's donuts much better than krispe kreme. Its that perfects balance of sweet. <br/>Had a green tea as well- think they can make their cups a tad bit bigger :D

I am in love with the alien... Ok that didn't come out well... Lol... The 'alien ' donut is a must try.. With its gooey chocolate filling and chocolate crumbs on top its donut nirvana... I kid u not... Also would recommend the cheeni strawberry which s a sugar glazed donut with strawberry sauce filling... Overall a treat for your sweet tooth

Just dropping by here when Ur sweet tooth calls for it, is never a fail :D indulge in the varieties of donuts! And not just that .. The jar of red velvet is out of this world.. Layered and prettily packed :) complement this with a sandwich of Ur choice and enjoy the best of both worlds :D

Its a small outlet attached to the subway next door . Relatively new this area - about 6 months. A panjabi restaurant used to occupy its slot earlier . The doughnuts are delightful , The strawberry filled one was way too sugary but the coffee filling had a good balance of sweetness. I bought an assorted box of 9 and I finished two of the dough nuts before I felt the place . The all chocolate doughnuts were my favorite . Raspberry one was quiet succulent. Hope they improve on the quality of the fillings a bit more and pay more attention to the balance of sweetness in the fillings .

Alien and kappe donoughts are a must try at donout house. With their oozing filling inside the donouts. They also serve sandwiches ,milkshakes and chocolates. Easy on the pocket. At around 945 I reach 'Donut house' to celebrate one of my friends bday. I get in and see the guy sitting inside and there was no donut for me to see and select. <br/><br/>And finally I see the guy walking out, and i ask him for suggestions. He suggested me with the 12 dounut combo and I went for it. <br/>All different donuts and there was this cream filling, blueberry filling ,alien and many others. It was all good. That guy took the pain of writing happy bday on the donut and then we shared the donut.<br/><br/>The donut was delicious. Loved all the donuts. Mr. Madhi is his name. Very courteous. Good service and on the whole I was happy. I wld definitely suggest it to people. Cheers and thumbs up!!

Good to see a Donut place open in Annanagar so close to my house. Always been a huge fan of donuts so it's pretty great.<br/><br/>Every time I've been here it's been after having a sub at Subway. Donut House is located right next to it so you can have a sub at Subway and then step in next door to have donuts! Pretty great isn't it? I've never ever visited donut house alone though as I said,it's only been after visiting. The place is small,a bit cramped as well. Never been much of a crowd when I've gone so that's fine I suppose.<br/><br/>Coming to the donuts itself,I think most are pretty good. I've tried many of them and haven't been disappointed. As mentioned by many other reviewers,it probably doesn't have the 'wow' factor that Krispy Kreme has but its pretty good nevertheless. Maybe a bit small but priced at 55,its fine I suppose. Some of my favorite's over here are the Alien,the Swiss Marble and the Triple Chocolate. The donuts are usually over after 3-4 bites so one may not always be enough. Never tried anything other than the donuts over here.<br/><br/>Good place,consistently good donuts. Will keep visiting when in the mood to eat donuts. 3.5/5

This Donut house is situated next to Subway and its quite new at Anna Nagar. I arrived here with few of my friends and the experience was a good one to be honest. I tried the Triple Chocolate and Berry Bambi donut which was good for the price you pay. It's not really expensive and it's fairly close to the cost of a Krispy Kreme donut. Donuts cost ₹55 each and it's rightly priced. Get 5 donuts and get one free!

Donut house ,wedged in between Koblerr's and Subway in shanthi colony. I'm hardly fond of donuts so I decided to give it a try. Got a pack of 6 donuts where you get one for free(5+1). Not sure what donuts I ordered but they did taste good .

Donut House in Annanagar needs to scale up to live up to its name and to its counterparts in Ethiraj Salai, Cathedral Road and elsewhere. Their bread is not fresh and comes from their outlet in Ethiraj Salai apparently. So if you go before 12 noon, you will, in all probability get the previous day's donut, though the topping is fresh and just done.<br/><br/>Donuts make a good option to carry along when you are visiting someone, instead of the traditional sweets, mysorpak or rasmalai. So I wanted to pick up their Alien donuts and a few more, which I have had in Ethiraj Salai and Cathedral Road outlets. You take a bite, and you just sink into its softness and gooey chocolate.<br/><br/>But when I got some from the Annanagar Donut House, it was neither soft nor sinking in smoothly, which was disappointing. Especially since I had asked the server if it was fresh, and he said "yes, yes".<br/><br/>So the next time I went, I checked again and complained and then was told that fresh ones come after 12 noon. I came back for those, and it was as per expectations:)<br/><br/>Alien with chocolate topping and chocolate stuffing is my favorite. While the sauce just oozes out from the center, the topping is slightly crunchy. The cheesy ones are good if you are not a big fan of sweets ( wondering who isn't?!) . There is a spicy donut on the menu which wasn't available at the store. The butterscotch donut is another favorite too!

Donut house was a place that I've always wanted to go to, but plans kept getting cancelled. And then came along, that auspicious day, when I could actually set foot in the infamous house of donuts. I'd been waiting to try their donuts but they weren't as good as I exaggerated them to be. Lol ! <br/> The donuts were soft and spongy. Luckily I ordered the dark chocolate donut with cream oozing out, because I heard from many people that the rest of the donuts were not upto the mark. I am yet to try their chocolate ganaches and their brownies, which I will in the near future. But as far as donuts as concerned, they can do a lot better on the ones that are not dark chocolate .

Service sucks to the core... They take 25 min to give a donut. And after asking 4 times they give it without heating. Please don't spoil donut house reputation by such pathetic service....

Donuts are not the same these days, they used to be bland the last I remember, but not anymore. I came to this place, after my brother kept pursuing me to have some Chocolate goodness. Alien was the first thing I got to try, with all the hidden molten chocolate oozing out as soon as you dig in. There are about 5 varieties that come with choco fills, and I'd recommend you try those out first. Largely impressive, it's certainly given a better perspective when to comes to picturing Donuts from now on.<br/><br/>The price factor is fair enough. They charge pretty much what the other outlets would margin it. So Value for Money is a check.<br/><br/>Ambience is pretty okay for an outlet such as this, nothing much to write about. The place could get a little congested with seating arena being kept to a minimum. Also, Parking could be a major issue, with these narrow roads encircling around it.<br/><br/>Not sure if I'd keep coming over to this place very often though. It's just a one time affair.
