Pretty old restaurant established 1963. Paya is famous over there. Brought Pepper chicken this time for Rs 230. Taste was awesome and quantity was decent. But disappointing is only it had 5 small pieces of chicken hardly arround 75gm. For All tiffen items like parota, idly, idiyapam a gravy must be bought separately. Or you can eat without gravy if you can😜

Quite established hotel. Most dishes in their menu were available even at 5.30 pm. I was extremely impressed by their preparation time👏👏👏👏. Ample quantity for totally affordable price. 💯We ordered special mughal chicken biriyani, finger fish and szechuan Chicken fried rice and the total was 640/- , which is far better compared to other standard hotels. Taste was on point😋. They have both AC and normal seating. They also have hot beverage and shawarma. Parking is a bit tricky for four wheelers since it is located in main road. Overall happy experience.

It's almost like a another Non-Veg restaurant located in KHroad . You can get hot parotta at any time in a day . I ordered parotta with chicken curry & omlet total cost 170

It is for the middle class people and I recommend everyone to go there. Esp, the Mixed fried rice, mixed noodles and the Tea is awesome.

A well known landmark of Ayanavaram... All local public would have visited the hotel one day or the other. All sorts of non vegetarian dishes and starters are available... Would suggest visitors to try with either chicken or mutton stuffed parota. Ambience and hospitality is well maintained. Though they are seniors in hotel industry they compete with the current menu list with their trademark quality. Price list seems to be reasonable. No long waiting period and table bookings are required as you will find a comfortable seat whenever you visit.

The restaurant has a decent look and ambience. But people come here truly to experience the food. The menu has a wide range which seriously impressed. I decided to go a plate of mutton biryani and bheja fry. And I must say I enjoyed every moment of eating them. The mutton Biryani was good. But the bheja fry was something I really enjoyed. All in all, a good experience. The good is what you should come for and forget every other thing. Prices are also quite affordable. A thumbs up from my side.

Briyani conosseiurs will have to test this sampling to fix lunch.Standard pays & chapathi/wheat parota.Mutton chops & good old coke !
Little dingy place that would make you wonder if it's the 80's again.
Safari Royepettah,Run's Adyar league.
This is a very old establishment that has created a landmark for its place and name . The famous items here are paya , parotta and yes the Biryani . Paya hey have many varieties and the taste is awesome . Biryani is a bit different but has its own flavor . This place is a must go and surely you won’t be dissatisfied. Don’t expect a great ambience but who cares as long as we get good food .

Good for Idiyappam, Paaya, Parotta.
Kerala Fried Chicken was different.
Lemon Tea is a good finisher.
VFM Takeaway. Must improve for decent dine in.

The hotel has been a big landmark for the locality and is too famous in its radius. Biriyani is somewhat good. They can increase the food varieties because people still believe in its name.

Places like these are supposed to rated high I guess. It is one among the hidden gem in chennai.
It is located in konnur main road. Their authenticity is what grabs people's attention. It's been there for so many years. They are best known for their paya and briyani. I ordered noor's spl paya which tasted heavenly with parotta. The quantity, quality and taste of the dish can never be equalled to the same dish from any other restaurant in Chennai. I also ordered spl chicken Briyani which tasted delicious. It came along with 5-6 pieces of chicken. Briyani costed 160rs, and the spl paya costed 170 I guess. Totally worthy on terms of cost and the taste of the food. *Never judge a book by cover* is what you can learn while buying foods from small restaurants. I've always chose takeaway instead of dining in. A must visit place for all briyani lovers out there.

Located in the Ayanavaram high road this place has been on my monthly visit without fail. Idiyappam and paya is their signature dish and you can see customers thronging for the same esp during the early morning and evening times. With the amt of quantity they serve this place is absolute VFM. Fellow foodies give it a try.

I like to visit this place often. Specially for the veg fried rice and chilly chicken gravy which tastes superb. Visiting this hotel make me addicted to its food.

This is a very famous place, ever since my childhood. Even got a bus stop named after it. The taste and authenticity is really good and the pricing is good, but the service is bad. Also the hygiene is a bit questionable at times.

Everything here is quite the taste. You don't come here for the ambience . But for the taste . Better and faster servings. Only lag is the car parking , no more than that.
Ramkumar
Quite good biriyani and I guess there's no other hotels around that area that provides good biriyani as this one.Ambience not too good and not too bad.Nothing much to say.Just try.
Aman Ghori
Very much above average Biryani. Quite a generous quantity of mutton in the biryani too.

Alright for a dine-in if you don't mind eating at local restaurants.
Janani Krishnan
Best Biriyani n it tastes better every time I have it...and thats saying something considering the restaurant has been around for almost 2 decades now.. Take away recommended but dine in is not too bad either..

Great place with good pricing..the only "one of a kind place" on koonoor high road..has been here long enough- that a bus stop has been named after it...and the quality lives up to its age..so much so even the waiters have been loyal to it since ages!!
Mainly known for biryani...tandoori chicken....ceylon parata....
Their noor special biryani is something you just cant miss out....really delicious....large and adequate in quantity.....served with chicken 65 pieces, cashew nuts, and tomatoes.....filling for an afternoon meal...costs about 160.....

If you are a roti guy....try out their tandoori roti.....wide variety of choices for the curry....recommended are....dal fry ( believe me it has a proper north indian taste), kerala prawn/ chicken curry ( again something they specialise out here), chicken mughalai, chettinad chicken...

Their tandoori chicken is again awesome....big large pieces... juicy....and priced at 130 for 2 pieces....

Another thing worth trying here is their ceylon parata.....chicken/mutton...( the latter is said to be much better-but im not a fan of mutton).....a huge parata...packed with mashed pieces of meat...with some kind of sauce......comprises a full meal and really filling...light on the pocket...for about 80 per portion.....

And for the chinese lovers....their noodles are pretty good.....goes well with chilli chicken gravy....

All in all... great place in this part of the town..( been our routine lunch/dinner place for non veg!!).....arguably cheap prices....and the taste is something which has been the same over the years....its stood the test of time!
