I don't know the original madurai jigarthanda, but this feels a lot authentic. It's like an every week must have snack for me. If your mood isn't good just go there to have a chilled jigarthanda. As the name suggests,it really does cools your soul.

Jigarthanda is famous in madurai because of this shop and they kept the name as 'Famous Jigarthanda'. They have started many branches in tamilnadu and tnagar branch is one among them jigarthanda is good but i feel the taste is not same as what we get in vilakku thoon main branch. Normal jigarthanda

This place is legit. Had seen it previously on Kodambakkam high road but never got around to making a stop. On the hunt today, managed to look it up to this new location and wasn't disappointed.
