Lydie's - Chennai (Madras) - Photo album

The food is very delicious here, the owner is friendly and the ambience is very pleasing. If you are a foodie you will be satisfied. (Tip: try the crab meat balls, it's excellent!)
Came here for lunch after catching an afternoon show at Mayaajal. This place is hardly 1km away from Mayaajal. The place itself is serene. Run by friendly folks, Belgium lady Lydie and her husband. They have a variety of Indian and Continental offering on the menu. Ordered beef steak with Cheesy ma
Lydie & Abdulla the real loving Couple to give us mild but awesome food. I enjoyed the variety of tasty food here..Hats off to both for the Very tasty food with real Indo- Belgian hospitality..!!!
The place was unique and the taste and quantity of food is very good too.
Nice flavors and quaint place... Slightly overpriced but okay as the colleagues and family enjoyed.
The most Authentic continental food in Chennai. The most serene and calm ambience with the best of hosts, Lydie and her Husband, who run this place, with a carefully curated and cherry picked menu of World Cuisine without forgetting our very own Indian cuisine subtly slid into the menu.
Loved it 🥰 worth every penny spent and the flavour, aroma and the food/desert was mouth watering yummm..looking forward to try more and visit the place again
Great food and nice ambience. The owner are ver friendly
Beautiful place, very unique restaurant! Have seen nothing like this before. From dining inside straw huts to antique furniture and exquisite menu, they have it all! The hosts (lydie herself and her husband) have been very warm. The Alphonso from their own garden has been a cherry on the cake! Overa
Jus lived de Ambience, extraordinary food, full-on relaxation mode
The restaurant is good with different outdoor setup for dining. The food taste was good especially the Mutton Biryani, Tomato soup, onion coriander soup and the ginger tea were awesome. Price were bit costly but thats matched by the experience.
Homely atmosphere. Creative interiors using fishing boats and stuff. Eco friendly environment. Dishes are delicious. Outdoor seating arrangements are also great. Great experience overall
Service was brilliant, food fantastic - a really good mix. Went with the review about caramelized bananas - they are indeed fab but the ice cream with hot Belgian chocolate sauce was sublime! Relatively expensive for the area (catering to Western tastes do charging accordingly?) But still only £10/
Excellent place.... A must try for any foodie! 1) The ambience was really nice 2) Staff... polite and responsive 3) Menu was filled with a delightful list of food items 4) The food was delicious 5) Price.. reasonable. Give this place a try next time you drive by it!
Tried Grilled fish with mashed potato and vegetable salad dressed with Mayonnaise. The food quality and taste was top notch. Only drawback is the maintenance. I had my food outdoor. The outdoor wasn’t maintained properly. My suggestion is to enjoy your food indoors.
The ambience and service was too good. Coming to the food, they were so delicious and different in taste also their names. However, don't expect for the taste to be same as in other regular restaurants.
we were just passing through and took a chance and stopped for lunch. We met Lydie, she is a wonderful host and fun to talk to. All the food was wonderful. The fish was amazingly fresh and very tasty. You can't go wrong with any of the deserts!! If we lived in the area, we'd be back many, many time
