Location - located inside crowne plaza hotel the official den of CSK team. Located prominently in TTK road, Alwarpet. Parking - ample parking space is available in underground Ambience - simple and decent. There is ample space between each tables to have some privacy Food - we actually went during the summer salad festival and Mango festival. It's an alacarte menu with special salads and Mango based dishes. The salad menu was geeky enough with the calorie values of each salad 🥗. We loved the shrimp salad and classic macaroni salad. And coming to the Mango festival menu, we loved every Mango dish they presented - Mango kulfi, Mango jigarthanda and Mango cheesecake. Mango jigarthanda was the highlight - they blended the jigarthanda taste with Mango and presented it very good. Service - was quick and very attentive. Price - being a star hotel, the prizes are in higher end Rating - 4/5 Will return back again to try more dishes.

Superb cafe , the ambiance is great and the staff very friendly. The food is good especially their sandwiches and pizza. There Sunday breakfast is a must try.

We are a family of 3 who stayed several times at Crowne Plaza in 2023. Overall, our stay at Crowne Plaza lived up to its 5-star moniker. Coming from someone who generally abhors travel and hotel stays, this is quite the positive sentiment. This is largely due to several attentive, friendly, and phenomenal staff members. Crucially, I give my highest accolades to chef Shameel Ahamed, who is the best chef at Crowne Plaza. My appreciation is ineffable. Food is usually my biggest gripe when it comes to travel. As a highly health-conscious vegetarian who cannot tolerate much spice, I am very particular with my food. Shameel hears every minute request, and prepares meals that exceed my expectations and please my fastidious palate. I look forward to my specially-prepared dinner of low-salt koottu, cooked vegetables, and butter-free chapatti. He also ensures that the morning breakfast buffet at Capuccino is replete with options for me and my family: oil-free dosas, freshly squeezed fruit juices, berry compote (fresh jelly), idiyyapam, coconut milk, poha, and fresh delectable fruits. He is never hesitant to ask me if I would like him to prepare any more special orders, and even coordinates with the other chefs to ensure that my food is prepared to perfection in his absence and at all 3 of Crowne Plaza’s main restaurants: Dakshin, The Residency, and Cappuccino. As proper nourishment is the key to comfortable living, I can’t imagine staying anywhere other than Crowne Plaza whenever I visit Chennai.
