Good peaceful ambiance for dining.
The taste is awesome, specially tandoori chicken. Food quality was too good. The restaurant is exactly opposite to phonix Marketcity mall.
Bbq fish (basa) was out of the world. Its too soft perfectly cooked, melt in the mouth feeling. Grill chicken was good. Pulpy grape juice was awesome. Ordered some chicken gravy and breads. Every dish we ordered were really good, no complaints.
This place is opposite Phoenix Market City. Good food. Value for money. We had the mutton curry, rotis, tandoori chicken full and the chicken biryani.
The ambience and the location is good.. most of the non veg starters tasted good.

Very cool and neat ambiance. Good quality foods have great Kerala foods available. Kizhi parotta is my favourite and the paneer butter masala was outstanding with naan. We tried so many dishes there, everything was super good. Except for the nonveg plater the platter was very expensive but the quantity was very minimal which is very disappointing! The foods are Little bit expensive but still satisfied with the taste. Go and enjoy with your family and friends.

On the Budget front, neither expensive nor cheap because it's purely based on the dish that you choose. Our bill was 7119 for 7 members. It's worth spending.
Need to Improve:
When we entered they suggested us to sit in a six seater table with an extra chair which we were not comfortable with and it was only 7.30 PM and the restaurant was empty.
Even after having so much discussions, they were reluctant to offer a different table.
Finally we settled down and placed the order and after which they given a choice to shift the table. I don't think it was based on our order value, they gave an option. But this time we don't want to shift and managed in the same place.
But the service was really good.
The overall experience was excellent and we had a wonderful time.
The Mandi Chicken Rice is tasty. The rice, seasoned with the perfect blend of spices and just the right amount of oil, is a masterpiece in itself. No masala, If you're a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or simply appreciate a well-prepared, flavorful meal, Samco Restaurant should be on your list of must-visit places.
I opted for the large portion, which was more than enough for a satisfying meal for three, and I was thoroughly impressed.

One of the best restaurant in Velachery near Phoenix market city. Everything tastes nice and the serving people are so kind.
Honestly, I wasn't expecting much and also mentally prepared to spend more than what I usually do at outings for the same amount of food.
Well, I was wrong on both the fronts. The chef's special platter with Mandi rice was exceptional. The rice was fragrant, soft and separable. Fish and prawn were juicy. Some kebabs could have been a little softer, might be dependent on the cuts of meat used. The sheekh kebab was not good. The waiters were really polite and nice and the price was reasonable. Would visit some time again.

Visited after one year still taste remarkably same . First i went to punjabi nation it was closed . After that I came to Samco . Actually I was little bit upset because of Punjabi nation is close . After I eaten the bbq I back to normal because the taste is extraordinary .
We had mutton mandi and chicken biryani here. The food was really good and i found it cheaper compared to places inside phoenix mall. On the downside, I didn't find the ambience great. Overall very satisfied with the visit.
Great food especially platter and mandi, nice corner for kids to play, friendly and polite staff. Hassle free parking space with valet. Some food items like chicken65 biryani are cooked differently, so clarify with them before ordering
