The only vegetarian hotel near US embassy. Eventhough the taste is somewhat good the food prices are too much.

This is a famous veg restaurant, I have been eating here since childhood.For decades this restaurant is famous for its sambar ! We went here for lunch and had a set combo with a Vazlai elai virundu. As of today, you won't find Sarvana Bhavan (SB) anywhere in India or for that matter anywhere in Tamil Nadu except for Chennai. If you're visiting Chennai, having a thali at this restaurant should be #1 on your to-do list.

Age old establishment serving delicious South Indian cuisine. I loved it four years ago, but during my visit six months ago, I felt somewhat dampened by the overall experience.
