A legendary place for soups in west mambalam. i have been visiting this place for decades and mamee soups brings up nostalgic memories for me. their soup of the day along with other soups are fantastic stuff. must try are sweet corn, herbal, french onion and thoothuvalai soups.
This place is probably the best soup kitchen in all of West Mambalam.
This place does attract quite a bit of crowd for its excellent soups.
The soups are also very reasonable and totally worth the money you pay.
I would recommend this place to anyone who hasn't tried it yet.
The most amazing place for soup. Evenings it's a perfect way to fill your tummy here since the soups here are healthy as well as authentic in taste. Spicy ones for people who want it as an appetiser, and the other ones are for keeping us filled up for 2 hrs at least. These soups here makes us calm and helps for people who have gas and acidity issues. It reduces food craving. Thank you so much.
Budget friendly place, opens at 5pm not 12pm. They serve variety of vegetarian soups, tomato soup being their best seller. French onion soup is only available on Sundays.
A famous soup shop in and around West Mambalam. I have tried every day special, Tomato Soup, Vegetable Soup etc. All soups were good and has its own blended taste. I recommend this place for everyone for a fine evening outing.

A few minute walk from Mambalam Railway station. Has been there for a few years now.
Started with 5 rupees per bowl of soup, now at 20.Soups that are good in taste and some very healthy ones for this price can't be seen in many places.Only 3 tables- 3/4 per table, others have to stand. A very good place for a quick fill and a small chat.
I am a big fan of their tomato and herbal soup.
The price is very very cheap.
Sometimes it might be crowded and you have to stand and drink. But still it is worth it.
Mamee's soup is the most flerished shop among we west mambalm peaple..... instead of trying the common soups u must try the ""herbal soups "" there...and the best part is it has a reasonable price..

Soups are excellent but only minus is limited varieties and getting sold quickly.
I've been a regular here since they sold soups for Rs.25 and now the soups are Rs.40

Its just opposite to Jaya coffee. They have small place to sit and have Soups too.
Girls working there are quite smart and swift. Very clean place in spite of the many walk ins and also in home dining. They have variety of soups to choose from.
They serve in Betel nut cups and eco friendly. They serve soups with corn flakes which adds to the flavour
They have almost all kinds of soups, from tomato, vegetable, sweet corn, french onion etc to various herbal soups. Needless to say, all the soups here are very tasty. The place maybe a bit crowded in the evening time.
Been going to this place for more than 15 years, best soup place in town.. Taste has remained same throughout the years and there is a good variety of soups to choose from..
The soups are flavourful,ALMOST all the herbal soups taste similar🙄 that's disappointing and, in a way, misleading.
It'll be great if they have a bigger space catering all the flavors. Sometimes, it is difficult to find a place to sit. Quantity also appears to fluctuate based on the cutlery it is provided in.
They use biodegradable cutlery (only the cup, spoon is still plastic), which is worthy of appreciation. However, it doesn't get filled to the brim. The charge for extra scoops of corn is slightly high. Road side stalls charging 25 per cup of soup give at least 2 extra servings of corn free. Here, the soup charge is 35.
Love the taste 💓 must try, regardless of minor improvements mentioned above.

hey again I visited Maumee soups on 30th June 2023 - last time I appreciate everything now, kind of disappointed, I think staffs also should treat customer with respect . Yesterday I ordered 2 soup 1st they(staffs) ask me to pay usual I paid the amount paytm speaker also came 70rs paid ,they gave me soup, after me &friend finished soup leaving the shop, a staff of mamee soups called me, do done the payment? I replied yes again cash or Gpay, I told it's Gpay, again staff asked show me the payment screen ,again I showed her the screen when I visited the shop it wasn't that much crowded, I know she is doing her job, but as customer I dissapointed, after the payment done only she offered me the soup.

One of the best soup shop, it's was tiny place but the taste of soup was soo delicious highly recommend soup shop, I was amazed by Posture that says "Our staffs are our family, Playing treat them with respect,thats keeps all of us happy" by management. It's shows that how the management care for their employees 🌸

The taste of the soups are really good with very reasonable prices. The staffs are quite friendly too. Would highly recommend ppl to visit this place once if you are a soup lover.
Parking of 2 wheeler is the only problem. Please dont bring car to reach here.
One of best road side shop, parking seem to be major issue, Hot and healthy satisfactory and soup, taste seem extremely different value for money, no ambience but cleanliness is maintained
Best veg soup in the city. I go there to drink the special herbal soup. All the soups are very good.
A shop selling various soups (starting at Rs.10/- years ago) exclusively in Mambalam station road. variety of hot soups sprinkled with corn at 40- catered. So tasty. Veg, tomato, plantain pith,greens, herbal mushroom etc. Daily they slot one traditional and healthy soup. Table service and take away are available at this shop brimming with full Josh in evening.Good work madams. Keep it up.
