To be honest my first time visit was overwhelming with nice hospitality by the staffs and manger. Had a nice chat with the owner as well. Now for food - ordered chicken spring roll, al faham dejaj, biriyani combo and nun with chicken tikka masala. Taste was too good and overall come to a reasonable cost. Totally satisfied and will suggest everyone to visit to enjoy the meal.
Nice and neat ambience , the starters were good , pricing is not too high , it costed around 700 for two people, good for family people. the servers did their job. I really enjoyed the food.
Nice place with good sitting capacity and comfort. Staff is polite. The food is too good as of Barbecue but has to improve on the other Indian dishes. Like this place and will recommend for a visit or twoe
Visited this place on a weekday and not so crowded. Ordered veg food and I must say food was pretty decent. No complaints. Service was faster that we expected at a reasonable price!
We ordered Tom yum soup, masala fried prawn and Fish sizzler. The soup was average. It was not like Tom yum and was like hot and sour. The masala fried prawn was great. It was crispy with perfect spice. The fish sizzler was amazing too. The sauce and french fries along with it was a plus. The only awkward thing was the man who provided the service was suggesting not to take Thai food and said we might end up not liking the taste which made us not to order any main course. Sadly we wanted to try out some Thai fried rice ☹️
Combo is good and money Worthy... I would suggest GEM express to add few more options.. Delivery time was quick.. With out second thought we can go for GEM express
Have been regularly ordering from here. Food comes fast. non-veg preparation is good. Quantity is decent. AMong sweets Gajar ka halwa with Icecream is really good
I was looking for a restaurant that delivers curd rice for my travel to home town and that is when I stopped at Gem Express. The food was nearly packed and the quantity was more than enough for one. It also had a packet of pickle with a spoon and tissues! And the delivery was before time.

I had a paneer Butter masala and a malai kofta. They were some of the tastiest ones I've tried on zomato or swiggy yet. The price was reasonable and the quantity was also adequate. I was satisfied to say the least. Would highly recommend if you're looking for North Indian graves.
The food they provided tasted very good. I'm too with their services.
Must try - Veg meals.

Good multicusine family restaurant.. It has good ambience and food we ordered were delivered in time.. But some of the dishes tastes average and some were less spicy. Luch meal offered here is so good with non-veg option. People working here were polite and gentle.

This place is located on OMR Navalur, very close to the junction. We originally had plans for another joint on the stretch, which was sadly closed for renovation. So we ended up on the doors of another highly rated Andhra mess in the vicinity, only to skittle out in five minutes due to a weird stench! Jay walking down the road, we walked in on Gem Express. And we were glad we did! The ambience appealed to us with no weird smells. The wonderful aroma of biryani wafting through reassured our appetite post the jinxed start of Friday's lunch!
We went for chicken soup, fried prawns, chicken harabara kebab and prawn biryani. Both the quality & quantity was on point and we were washing off plates at a surprising speed! Service was quick and the staff were very helpful with their suggestions and were very attentive, magically appearing to refill our plates with out lingering around. Pricing was reasonable. Overall it was a good accidental find where we would surely walk in without apprehensions!
The hotel is a pure chettinad hotel. The cost is reasonable but still a bit expensive. The hotel doesn't have a allotted space for parking but still you can park it in front of the restaurant. There is various variety of starters in both veg and non-veg. The seating arrangement of this place is pleasant and soothing. They even serve barbeque.

Food quality is really good and the does not take much time to get the ordered food on to your table. They are the best tasting restaurant in chennai, but they score really well amongst the restaurants in navalur.
Reasons for a five star is their service quality. The waiters have a good smile on their face and it looks very welcoming.

One of the fine dining in Navalur. Great taste of chicken varieties and especially Pothi Briyani is a must try one in Gems. Really recommend to my friends and family
