Good post office. Larger in size. Not crowded all the time. They have Speed post also. They deliver on time. No fuss. Easy courier and of course less charges than other services. Go for it.

Best option for domestic Speed post rates are 20% to 30% cheaper than private courier delivery is super fast.
Booked a speed post to Trichy around 2:00pm on a Thursday last week the package got delivered around 11:00 am next day.
Delivery intimation SMS came to the registered mobile number promptly. Online tracking facility also available.
People should first try India Post before going to private courier.
Came for NSC closure. I was attended by Sabeena mam at SB counter. Very polite, kind to customers, dedicated and hard work. She gave very prompt response even though she was in middle of tons of work and doesn’t show anger face like any other govt office. Govt should add more staffs to reduce their work load which would even avoid customer’s long wait.

An active post office. Staffs are very polite and friendly. Mostly people come here for RD, FD. Has a wheel chair acessable facility. The parking facility is always a question mark as its only avaialble for staffs. The public can park only two wheelers. Its anyway less crowded so parking of 1or 2 cars wont bother.
Today I visit the Thiruvanmiyur post office , very clean and all staff wear mask , sanitizer also available , all members maintain social distance , nearest big post office Thiruvanmiyur , perfectly bust stop to post office 1km , all staffs very perfect

Speed post is accepted from 9am to 7:30pm, other small branches it’s till 4pm
Working hours are 10 AM - 8 PM Monday to saturday. Great work by India Post.
