Nice restaurant for a great get-together. I had birthday party there. Received a complimentary cake for that. Only concern AC is very mild or not working, over the time atmosphere is too hot

Went with team around 20 people No such complaints The only problem was no alcohol served during our visit.. food wise comparing previous visits taste was gone down. But service was all fine Definitely best bbq fine dine at Coimbatore

We visited BBQ Nation for my niece birthday. The buffet was really great. The service person was so kind. The customer service was excellent. The starters were really tasty and my favourite was Grilled fish, chicken tikka and spicy chicken wings. My niece liked them too. The main course did only have a few items but we were already filled up on eating the starters. Dum Biryani and Butter chicken are most recommended. Butter chicken was so tasty. Desert was also good. We had icecream with freshly baked brownies. Kulfi varities is also available. The price was reasonable and everything was unlimited. Best place to celebrate special occasions with friends and family. Do visit this place

Unlimited kabab chicken, mutton, prawn and fish served here... Have to book online in advance... Separate charge for drinks... For kids bel poori, kulfi, ice cream was also provided... Nice play to enjoy with family and friends... Neatly maintained and staffs are very friendly in nature...

This is one of the best barbeque place in town and having plenty of veg and non-veg food option. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good veg meal.

Loved the unlimited food buffet and the place..In starters I liked nonveg comparatively to veg it was placed in live grill and served hot..the potato and crispy corn are too yum..all the main course items tasted good and I loved loved loved the desserts especially the gulab jamun and brownie with ice-cream are a great combo and the kulfi..kids can use High chair too..staff are kind enough and they wish persons with special occasion like birthday, anniversary etc. Totally loved the visit a must try and worth place atleast once in life...

I came here for a second time and it was great as usual they provide fish prawn and chicken for starters. We can eat as much as we want and the amount of spiciness can also adjusted according to our need. Their customer service is good and the place had a good and ambience atmosphere. But they had had limited number of desserts when compared to the other one I went. It would be great if they increase their number of desserts. Also i had squirt shark and other kind of exotic dishes in the other one. They can also include these kind of exotic dishes in their menu's. They maintain proper social distancing and safety precautions for the safety of customers. I went with my friends and family for a celebration here. Apart from the limited dishes overall is good.

Great service of food by polite staff. The staff did a wonderful job in refilling the starters in the grill. Fish and prawns were really great. The Mutton Kebab and Potatos deserve a special mention. The main dish was more of a lite meal for me. Kulfis are definitely something you shouldn't miss.

But noisy personally speaking but food spread is good. It was a private family get-together we had planned here and all our friends loved the food. Plenty of free parking available, next to the venue.

It was a perfect treat on valentine's day! Host took at most care and checked everytime with the spice levels for all dishes. Surprised with b'day celebration and cake cutting session.. The cake was super delicious and I wonder how did they know I love yellow colour and mango flavour a lot. Barbeque chicken, Fish and prawn was too good but the prawns could have been cooked more. Felt it was not cooked properly and hard inside. Wide spread of buffet OMG! Couldn't finish it as the dishes were more and quality was top-notch. Ambience was good and maintained very well following all covid precautions. Best wishes team! Good food and service was not upto the mark. They make us to ask several times for particular items to serve. Lack of communication happened between service staffs where they are not understanding common language though we don’t know their language. Staffs with good in both common and local language would be better.

Pre-booking is easier.Visit by Wednesday or Thursday it's cheaper than other days. You'll have like 150 mins to eat upto your cravings. First the starters, many varieties of veg and non veg options, crispy potato, crispy corn, tandoori chicken,prawn,fish,mutton kebab, pineapple, mushroom, watermelon,paneer,soya. Then the main course , many varieties of gravy and few biryani, soups etc.Then live counter , pizza, pav, dosa etc available. Then last dessert. Brownie, cakes, jello, gulab jamun, bread pudding etc. 6 varieties of kulfis are available, have as much as you want. Drinks are also available but you need to pay separately for them. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available.

If you want to try how the barbeque works, you can check this one. Try to go to the bbq on weekdays as it's costly on weekends. Don't fill up with potato and sweet corn starters, which will be served in the beginning, if you eat non veg.

Somehow, I made up my mind to do this this time. <br/><br/>Had an opportunity to dine at the BBQ Nation, Fun Mall last week - 27th of Feb 2020. It’s was great . Waiter Manish & group were really courteous and attentive. My mom wanted to know a recipe for a Mayonnaise spread and they had their Chef (Forgot his name 😐; starts with D tho) meet us and he was very cordial. Barbeque nation serves complete meal which we are expecting.. Starters includes various barbeque items.. Live barbeque box on the table is the Speciality here... All the main courses are enjoyable... Live counters for dosa, pani poori, etc adds interest for kids... All the desserts are awesome and the meal ends with an excellent kulfi... The best part is, they are not charging for kids upto 6 years of age... The guy who served us was Mr. RANJAN RAVI... He was so kind and humble with smiling face... His service is well appreciated..

The starting of the meal was a bit off as the masala was uncooked, and was served in hurry, but the manager was kind enough to know our taste and provide the meal accordingly. A quick suggestion would be to provide more variety of main course as well and different dessert ranges.

We visited the new branch at the Fun Republic Mall. Food was upto the usual good standards of this chain. The street food festival which was going on was an added bonus, but sadly, not upto standard. <br/>A free mocktail and a welcome drink was offered. They had an excellent selection of salads for those who made it past the entrees. The main courses looked great, but I was personally too full to do justice to it. <br/>Selection of desserts were good and tasted excellent. (Do not miss the carrot cake with sauce) And the chef made it a point to stop by at every table and enquire. All in all, an enjoyable meal.

For awesome grill do visit, the main courses is as usual with biriyani which we can get all around places, the 5 star is purely gained in the grill variety served.<br/>

Back then, Now and Always, the food is amazing. The service is fantastic too. Can never get bored of the non-grill starters - Kajun Potates, Chilli corn and lamb seek kebab! Absolutely recommended.

All the dishes served are good. One tip is, dont have too much of chicken, as it may fill your stomach soon. Try barbeque fish and prawns. Didnt try too much of main course as the starters and dessert were good.

We are regulars at BBQ Nation and we had a wonderful time as always. We loved how consistently great the experience has been. The quality of food is great, but it is the service that is truly exceptional. The staff went above and beyond. It was my sister's birthday, and we were a party of 9 people, and one of us is lactose intolerant , and another was sick. Our table was served specially prepared food without yoghurt in the marinade, and the staff also went out and got medicine on a Sunday evening when msot shops were shut. Overall, six stars out of five!

Went here for weekday lunch with family after a very long time (1st time visit was before few yrs when they opened newly). Had a good time as a whole. The staffs and managers were courteous, including Tapas, who enquired about our need and tried satisfying us to his extent. My family members liked everything as starters, main course and desserts. But a couple of us felt that starters were not up to the mark. The taste and texture was almost same for chicken and fish, except little variance in tenderness.<br/><br/>However to my surprise, I liked the main course items. They were good, on other hand felt the spread was a bit less. All Dessert items were good. We also got complimentary drinks for each person.<br/><br/>I rescheduled the timing couple of time due to various reasons and they handled it very well. Nothing like it or the newbies cannot match them no matter what. A BBQ lovers paradise. But I observed recently the food quality is not upto the standards it used to be. The chef need to look into it seriously to be up in the ranks.

I love how neat the place was and they have a big space too. I was not expecting it since it was located up in a building. <br/><br/>They also offer great variety of desserts and hey they got ice cream and you can add your own sprinkles in it. <br/><br/>Overall experience is great! Food was very tasty. Chinna took the booking at the last minute and had arranged a nice table for 10 of us. Raj Kumar was the man in-charge he made sure that we were really happy with the service they provided. And Manoj served us very well, he brought all the items that we wanted without delay and made us happy. Will surely visit BBQ Nation for parties. Great place to visit.

BBQ nation is the paradise for foodies and wannabe foodies, basically everyone.  <br/>Our entire motive due course of our visit to the place is to take back all the money spent. We would go just for the starters and desserts and the dosas and Fake birthday cakes. <br/>We loved the ambiance, food, and service.<br/>The best one was the crispy potatoes. This dish is the next level. Actually, few known people of mine have gone to this place only for this dish. <br/>The desserts and kulfis are good. Their mutton sheek kebab is good. <br/>The only annoyance was the tequila shots were for 250 bucks little less would be better.

A very cramped place to step into in the first place. It has the same boring menu all the time you go. The cagun potato is one of the best u can find. I love the pan kulfi here. The desserts dont excite u much. A good place to go as a group.

My all time favourite place in Coimbatore. Crowded place but still it's worth coming here. Loved the Prawns dish more than anything and would come here often just to eat the prawns. Overall service and food quality is very good.

The starters taste good, but they feel a bit hurried as they are placed in front of you in a bunch and u don't realise what you are eating till you put it in your mouth. The main course itself, felt lacking in variety. Deserts were good, and the kulfi was amazing!

WHAT A TIME WE HAD HERE. Great food and a safe place to get your meat fix in if you havent been eating much in India, as the veg options are generally safer but also so darn tasty. This place goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you needed; its clean, air-conditioned, well-run, delicious, and fun to say the least (we had a south indian dance party session with staff in the buffet line. Everyone watched, it was great). Dessert options are also AMAZING. Go to this place if you know whats good.

I have been to many times here at Coimbatore barbecue nation as well as in Chennai. Everything is good here starting from the service, dishes and celebrations. I really like the chefs coming personally to us asking about the taste of every dishes being served and what all ingredients/taste needs to be added. Overall a very good place to spent time with friends and family but please change the menu of dishes being served cos the menu is very old and I know it’s being followed for several years.😝😋

Went here yesterday for dinner and The food was so good here. Was my first experience at BBQ Nation. <br/>The staffs were so polite and friendly that you won’t find such a hospitality anywhere else in India.<br/>Also there was a visual treat there. Landed in Coimbatore on a official visit. Team dinner was on the agenda. Where? I enquired. Barbecue Nation. The nightmare of the visit to the Chennai outlet played over in my mind. I probably turned pale, because my colleague was enquiring about my well being. I politely asked if he had been there and what was his opinion. It is good, a bit pricey but good was what he said. I quietly said a prayer as I climbed into the car. It was raining. Traffic was horrible. All signs of impending doom. Do I have to go through the nightmare again? Maybe I should have been nicer to these guys.<br/>We arrived and as usual we had to wait. Gingerly I poked my head in. The place was filled with diners. And they seemed happy. This was surprising as it was mid week and it was raining. And the place was packed. A bit of the mental agony eased. We were seated by a staff who was apologetic about the delay. The starters arrived quickly. We wanted prawns and mushrooms first and that is what they served. The waiters made sure we got what we wanted. Tangdi kabab for the whole table. You got it. A bit of the keema from the live counter to go with the naans. You got it. The service, the food ( though average in taste) and the experience was a whole lot different and much better from Chennai. A bit pricey at 1000 per person. But worth it.

The location and atmosphere was good. Had ample parking space. The starters were good (especially the mutton and prawn) and never stopped coming. The main dishes was also tasty, but did not have the appetite after the starters. This being one of the most talked about places in Coimbatore, I visited it on a weekday. Be it any day of the week, it is fully crowded. I felt the place crammed with floating population all the time. The starters are good and I liked the peri peri chicken. The toppings served here stand unique. Although I didn't find it extremely delicious, it was promisingly good and the taste seemed unique. The starters got too much stuffy and there was little place left for the main course. Beyond the main course, I tried spoonfuls of all desserts which seemed completely normal and nothing new. The customisable kulfi was good. The service, a must mention is extremely good. And they are really very patient and make sure you treat your appetite to your fullest and are open to hearing suggestions and feedback. The ambiance is good but is a bit crammed.

Blown away by the quality of this restaurant, really. Wonderful interior first of all, giving away a very nice vibe with a wooden theme. The staff were very efficient in setting up a table for a group of ten people and did it as fast as possible. We were then shown around the buffet platter by one of the members of staff and found it to be extremely appealing. But the buffet, while offering a wide range of both vegetarian and non vegetarian options was very good, it was the starters that stole the show. The starters are served on a tiny barbecue on the table which adds to the charm of the place and keeps up to the name of the restaurant. The grills offered came in vegetarian and non vegetarian options. We opted for the non vegetarian options mostly, while we did have some vegetarian options as well. The grills came in different types of meats. One was prawns, with which they refilled our grills multiple times. The prawns were well seasoned and spiced, giving through a very good, spiced sensation in the mouth. You could keep taking the meats, and the staff would happily re-fill your grills for as long as you wish. The fish option was very soft and easy on the mouth. It broke away really easily and almost melted in your mouth, which, in my opinion is how a fish dish must be prepared. Apart from true texture of the fish, it was once again seasoned well and had a very good range of spices such as chilly and also a tandoori flavour coming through. The chicken was the best meat option, I thought. And that is telling to the quality of this dish. Soft, succulent, and spicy. This was a dish we could not get enough of. The staff must have been wondering why we ate so much, but were more than willing to refill our grills. Now you know why we ate so much, your restaurant prepares one of the best meats around. The accompaniments for the meat options were wonderfully prepared as well, such as the mayonnaise, the sweet chilli sauce and the honey mustard sauce. There were three different oils to be applied on the grills as well. These all had different tastes and enhanced the quality of the food offered. As for the staff, they were smiling, polite and always up for a conversation, giving a very pleasant atmosphere for us customers. After having countless serves of the meats, we moved on to having the buffet. The paya shorba was very good and had the perfect consistency of how a soup should be, giving a holistic taste of paya as well. The mutton biriyani was well seasoned with masala as well. The tandoori chicken was succulent and was another fabulous meat option. As for the desserts, the ice cream was creamy and flavoursome, just how Indian ice cream is. The kulfis had five options and all of them tasted very good. The strawberry kulfi and the pan kulfi were specifically commendable. We went on the occasion of a birthday and they even offered us a cake and a unique birthday song, which we loved. At the end of the meal, the head chef personally visited us to congratulate the birthday boy and ask us how the meal was. A gesture we very much appreciated.

Been there for about two times, the service before dining and after dining is cooperatively maintained without any lack in any of the department. And the menu listed was better than other Barbecue hotels in Coimbatore, still some regional dishes could be included to bring more of regional flavour.

Barbeque Nation is always my top choice for a buffet. Having been to this franchise multiple times during my time in Chennai, I decided to visit the Coimbatore branch.<br/><br/>The starters are to die for. There is something for everyone, whether veg or non-veg. I did not try many things in the vegetarian but ensure to taste their signature potato salad, its absolutely yummy!!<br/><br/>The non-veg startes are mind-blowing, on the grill and out of the world. The taste and quality of the meat is outstanding.<br/><br/>Peri Peri Tangdi which is served of the grill was my personal favourite. It was so good!!!<br/><br/>Barbeque nation for me is about drinks, starters and dessert. The main course is usually skipped as the starters take up most of my appetite.<br/><br/>The only drawback about this outlet is that the front office staff, the staff you meet at the start have so much attitude. They act like giving you entry into the restaurant, is like doing you a favour. Also on my visit to the restaurant was abnormally hot, the restaurant was facing power issues and the ACs did not seem to be functioning very well.<br/><br/>Besides that this restaurant is a must visit for everyone who loves buffer food!

Nice place with good service. The serve these sweet corn barbeque for vegetarian option one of the best i tasted so far.Dinner on weekends is expensive. Weekdays price is reasonable. Always crowded so better to book in advance. Would be better if restaurant location moved to less crowded place in the city

The place which I wanted to visit for a long long time.BBQ nation-one of the most talked about restaurants in coimbatore and finally I got a chance to visit.There were a variety of items right from starters to desserts.About the starters,the tandoori starters were good but nothing extraordinary.Both veg and non veg tandoori starters tasted similar with the only difference being the veg and non veg ingredients.There could be more variety in the tandoori starters.Besides tandoori starters there were some special veg starters which were really good.There was a cottage cheese bread roll which was my favorite out of the lot.But since they keep serving starters,you tend to keep on eating and will have very little space left for the main course.I had some briyani and egg curry for main course which was decent.Moving on to desserts,there was a wide variety of them.But none of them were great.The pastries were good while the rest were bad.The staff there were very friendly.Overall,though it was not overwhelming,it was a satisfying visit.<br/>(PS-Though its a unlimited buffet,dont eat much or else you may end up with a upset stomach due to binge eating like me😂)<br/>Starters-3.5/5<br/>Main course-3/5<br/>Desserts-2.75/5<br/>Service and Ambience-4/5

The problem with such outlets are that they become too 'Production Line'. This is a huge difference between Ala Carte customer service versus this one. They know what type of customers are coming and all becomes so mechanised. Even the relationship we establish with a pani puri vendor is missed here. And the size of this place in Coimbatore is big serving so many tables at a time that this is more pronounced. It is little better with small places, for example Mysore where the experience is good and we get to talk to the waiters, chef and managers. All relaxed and we have a good experience. Here it is all like a marriage function. You go in, get stuffed, get out. As a foodie, the overall experience matters and not only the food. Then we can very well order at home and eat. One way to fix this is to limit the head count and also train the staff to be more courteous and make the customers feel exclusive.

Excellent service. As a vegetarian i loved it. Akhil was a good in guest relation service, very professional and the Chef/Restaurant manager was very pleasant . The deserts  was on the top. The "Pan Kulfi" a big Thumps Up. Only negative is that there should be some spicy in Veg menu and some more dishes in veg.

Akhil handled our table n he was very courteous n professional...the starters were deliciously made to perfection, even the veg starters were great esp the potato n paneer...chicken biriyani was flawless, butter naan n chicken curry was mouth watery n made me eat more than I wanted..dessert options weren't really great buh I loved their tiny gulab jamun and their home made kulfi.. I've been to bbq nation in Bangalore 10-11 years back. I loved the concept and their food even back then. Since then I went abroad and couldn't try BBQ nation. Hearing they are in CBE, I went yesterday and it was really good. Not as good as Bangalore branch (decor didn't appeal to me much) but the food hit the mark. I didn't care much for the live dance but it was a fun addition. Their starters were really good but didn't have as much variety as I expected. I wanted masala soda for drink (not in the list) and the chef made it for me. That gets a solid star right there. Would be back but it wouldn't be my first choice since I didn't really like the decor much.<br/>

I went to Barbeque Nation to celebrate my birthday along with my parents. <br/>We we're lucky to get a last minute booking for the 12pm-2:30pm slot. <br/>The starters we're excellent. There was never a moment where we had to wait for the staff to refill the barbeque. Their relentless effort in replenishing the starters was applaud worthy. <br/>Once we had our fill of starters we lowered the flag to move to the main course. Given the impressive deserts + kulfi on the buffet we decided to light on the main course. <br/>The Manchurian soup was spot on. The soup laid way for the foodie delights that followed. Thought every dish in the main course looked yummy, I decided to try a little of noodle only. <br/>The dishes on offer in deserts were all fairly decent. But the show was stolen by the amazing kulfi on offer. <br/>When we finished stuffing ourselves with a couple of kulfis, I was surprised by a birthday cake by the staff. <br/>The cake was excellent. A fitting end to a great & extravagant meal. <br/>I made it a point to click a photo with the staff who served us (whose name unfortunately I forgot). He was so warm & loving throughout our meal. He ensured we were at comfort at all times. I hope that the Management make it a point to take note of his great service post this review. <br/>Now an important thing to note is that my parents are pure vegetarians. Yet the had a blast here. Introducing the live grill counters for the first time in Coimbatore. The hospitality scores an extra five 🌟's...from the time u stepped in till u step out !! Ambience was good, but ppl who choose peaceful environment for dining should stay away ! I have always come here for the buffet and every visit has been amazing. The food is great, the ambience is wonderful and the service is always been great. I love the concept where you can season the starters however you want. Also the main course and desserts are pretty good too. In addition to this I love the live music where the singer plays the old classics, it really sets the mood for the place. In conclusion, it is a pleasant place to have a meal and hangout.

This place remains the top in city for its standard of food and taste. Good concept. Loved the prawns grill provided there. Paneer , mixed veggies, soya, chicken and fish grills are superb too. Ambiance , service , taste and quality are all perfect.

Barbecue Nation is well known for their "Live Grill and Unlimited Buffet". If you are a real foodie, you must definitely visit Barbecue Nation. The staffs are extra ordinary and they take care of each and every individual.<br/><br/>Ambience is too good and there was live performance of music, which was the best part. They even surprise you with cakes and wishes on your Birthday.<br/><br/>The Live Grill section is the best part of the whole Meal. You will get unlimited Live grills with different varieties like chicken, prawns, paneer, etc... They are just too good and the chef takes real care about the flavour and masala. You can always customise them to your taste. I wanted it too spicey and he was more than happy to make it better and I was almost full when the live grill ended.<br/><br/>The main course had lots of varieties in both Veg and Non-Veg Section. If you ask the chef to make some customised dish they are more than delighted to help you out. Finally the desserts, they are just splendid wide range of dessert option starting from kulfis, cakes, sweets, icecreams, and lot more.

This place has to be one of the best places for buffets. I have been to a lot of buffets and i feel that this has been the best and the most worth for money. I would sya that their service is extraordinary and that whatever they do they do it in a good way. They have a wide range of dishes, and to be honest I love their starters the most. Each day I have experienced that they have a different menu and that every day their food quality still remains great. Anything that we are not satisfied with we can just inform the chefs and they would do the neccessary for us. There was this one time that i wasn't satisified with the brownies. I felt it was too hard and believe me or not they went in and made a new set of brownies and brought it exclusively to our table. This came out as a shock for me and i really do appreciate the amount of work they put in. I love the fact that they really do make a great amount of efforts to make a really good dining experience. And for the Vegetarians you just have to call them and inform to them that you need eggless brownie cakes and they do that exclusively for you. They also have a bar available and it is according to the age limit in that particular region. So in case you want to drink please make sure you carry your identity passes.

Great ambience & service. There was a Mexican theme on the day we were there.The place was crowded but the supply of the starters (mutton, chicken, fish, prawns, paneer and other vegetarian items were non stop and mouth watering till the flag went down. The complimentary drink was soothing. The Chef came to each table and enquired about the food and wanted to know if we need anything more or less spicy. We had little space for the main course, dessert & the special Kulfi. The main course had again many varieties both in veg & non-veg. The brownie at the dessert station was excellent. We've been to several branches of barbeque nation in Chennai and Bangalore, so we expected a certain quality and level of hospitality from the Coimbatore branch during our first visit as well. But the staff at the Coimbatore branch exceeded every single one of our expectations! From the head chef to the manager to our table staff - every single person was extremely courteous and helpful. The head chef, Chinna, was nice enough to prepare a sugar free & gluten free dessert especially for my mom, when he got to know that her diet didn't allow sugar or gluten. He truly made our day with his attention and hospitality.<br/>Needless to mention, the food was amazing and we appreciated that for once, the barbeque at our table was actually hot (unlike what I've seen in other branches) and did what it was supposed to do.<br/>Special mention to the lovely wishes and free mother's day cake they provided to all mothers who visited them today! Superb service. We had a Mexican flavored buffet. The grills were awesome as usual. The pan flavored kulfi deserves a special mention. This is the best buffet in Coimbatore.

Very worst experience ,even after booking they HV given to known persons within 5 min.its not worth to go there , food also not like before ,go some 5 star or 7 star hotel somewhere. it's not even worth for single star.

The best, Just like any other Barbeque Nations out there. People who regularly go to other BBQN outlets won't see any difference here since the ambience, food and all the other things that one expects are top notch. The only downside is the unavailability of reservations if you make a sudden plan. Make sure you book in advance and then head over there. Definitely worth a visit if anyone hasn't given this place a shot yet.

We had a good time on my daughter's​ birthday.The quality of the food was good too, But only thing that has to be improved is the all non-vegetarian kebabs are on the same coloured​. It could be better if you will provide a welcome drink or mocktails on the part of the buffet.

So it's a must visit place in Coimbatore. The food is good; cannot say the same for the ambience but before I get into detail, it is a place where you plan to burn your money and gain some weight. The highlights are the starters and I have to say the paneer and the potato for the vegetarians are the best thing and for non vegetarians I guess chicken cause I don't like anything else. Well I don't understand why they are starters cause they basically fill my stomach but sure to try the dessert corner they are good too. The beverages are sold good but the price is on the high side and it's usually for leisure drinking than mainstream drinking. Then the ambience it's fine because you are here to party not to chill with your date mostly if so bad choice. Well if you are on a date Don't pick a holiday.

A regular barbeque nation outlet with nothing special or out of the box well that consistency is what one expects when it comes down to barbeque nation however this one outlet miraculously failed. We booked a table for 10 a week in advance and they failed to tell us that there will be no complimentary drinks on a Sunday. <br/>The main course menu was below average and even more so was the dessert menu. Desserts and starters are BBQ nation's go to and somehow this was bad. <br/>The starters were not even varied and I shold say I hope my next visit won't bum me out so bad.

Ambiance - 5* , quality -4.5* as some dishes were a bit over grilled before serving . Good Hospitality as they make changes as per our wish . Have starters and straight away go for the deserts . Main courses are not so recommendable . Have been there a couple of times . Their standards have been impressive always . The main reason of going to this place was to have a drink along with the BBQ! The choices of meat served were good, prawn was a bit salty for my liking. Buffet - huge spread, but too full to try anything after the grilled meats.

Right on money and tummy<br/><br/>I've been to barbecue nation at Chennai quite a number of times and apart from tnagar branch rest of them were just about ok. The menu as everyone complain is straightforward, but this branch has some unique moments with an extraordinary support staff. They were extra courteous and kept asking if we want anything apart from the menu. We asked pasta, some crispy cheese balls and softened paneer, they kindly obliged.<br/><br/>The orange twist, strawberry mojito, lychee mocktails simply stood out . The live counter has lassi varieties, lipsmackin. Being a big dessert fan I am always disappointed with the lack of innovation, the usual brownie, gulab, cheese cake , tart etc and they never change this. The starters as usual pineapple and mushrooms were crispy, the fried corn was not at its best but rest of the veggie starters .. yum !

The starters were undoubtedly amazing. The main course was good except for the briyani and fried rice. I would recommend them to improve the authenticity of the Briyani as many people would look forward to briyanis in any buffet restaurant. I also appreciate their service and the ambiance was very good.  Would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Great place like all the other Barbeque Nations around. Starters are the best and you can just go on having the prawns. The Cajun potatoes is the next best thing that'll just take you away. Went for evening dinner with family. Was surprised to have been kept waiting outside for about 10 minutes considering it was a Thursday. The starters were amazing especially the Mutton Seekh kabab which was stupendous. In veg, I relished the pineapple chilly from the live counter. Even the veg dishes were amazing. Main course was average as the Mutton roganghosh was very average. To finish the evening with the heavenly phirni, I cudnt have asked for more. Phirni a must try.

Seriously the rating says it all....The grilled kebabs veg or non veg all of them are mouth watering....this is a very late post.....this visit dating back to about 3 months or so....It is a must visit where I reduced .5 rating as the desserts weren't served even though the quantity was finished ..... other wise everything else was fantabulous

Having visited the barbeque nation at Various outlets in Bangalore and absolutely loving it, I decided to visit the one here in Coimbatore. Bad food, noisy place, overly sugary drinks, and callous staff. I cannot stress on this enough, but please do not waste your time and money going here. They have altered the taste of their food which has completely ruined its authenticity.

Bbq nation the name itself is enough to go and dine without reading reviews about it. The starters, main course, drinks and desserts was all time awesome. Be it non. Veg or veg don't miss the corn. Avoid going on dry day you wont get alcohol.

I have been there a couple of times but still never felt bored . They have well designed ambience. The varieties of barbecues get barbecued in the grill on the table customised with different dips and sauces of your taste . Unlimited starters for both veg and non-veg. Had a friend's treat last week. Spent 3 hours totally and almost one and half hours on starters and one hour for desserts. Remaining for main course. Starters contains prawn, fish, chicken, chicken wings and mutton.

Is the worst Barbeque Nation outlet in the country hands down, staff are rude and don't even offer seats to customers in the waiting lounge. Food is horrible and servers don't even listen to what customer is asking. I had been to other Barbeque Nation outlets in Hyderabad and Bangalore and they always ensure that customers have the best possible experience but Coimbatore outlet is a disgrace to the BBN franchise.

I've seen some really bad reviews for this restaurant. I've been to the Chennai, Bangalore, Mysore and Cochin branches as well. And personally? I didn't find much fault with this place. It definitely wouldn't be as good as the Bangalore one, because the latter has an EXCELLENT ambience. The only thing that COULD go wrong with the Coimbatore experience is the service. Though, the service and hospitality I received along with my friends over the last couple of times has been pretty good. Now, for the review. This place really has some good food for non veg lovers. BBQ nation is one of the best ever destination around the city to have a non veg lash .it has a pretty good ambiance with play of light music somethimes.BBq pops into my mind whenever planning for a lunch or a dinner.we have to visit it with en empty tummy to have our tummy filled with long lasting tasty unlimited dishes.Its pleasing cocktail varieties have a long lasting effect .finally the name BBQ sticks into our mind and turn everyone of its followers addicted to its lip smacking dishes.

The place has really good ambiance, the menu is awesome and perfectly priced but the downside there  aren't a large variety of desserts to choose from excluding that the main course is really good and the variety  of non-vegetarian kebabs and starts are fantastic.

Barbecue Nation has got to be one of the best places in town for a great meal. This outlet shares its space with a Hotel Metro Inn, and is well spacious and has a great decot. Their ambience is lovely, with live music playing sometimes. Table reservations are recommended for this place, as the crowd that comes in even on a weekday is mad. We went here for lunch one afternoon, and were greeted by extremely friendly staff. They explained the entire concept, and made us feel really comfortable. They have seasoning to go with your BBQs and some sauces as well. The starters were insanely appetising, and there was always something on your plate ! I was overwhelmed with the cajun potatos and the paneer tikka, and the BBQ paneer as well. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the Non veg set with chicken, prawns, fish and mutton, that were served according to a spice level of your choice. We also got to pick a complimentary drink that day. The starters were really filling, and insanely delicious, I couldn't stop myself from having more of them. We moved onto main course, that had a spread of rotis, subjis, rice, noodles, and everything else you could think of! I could not do too much of justice to the main course, but enjoyed the little I had. Desserts were another level of happiness, and I couldn't resist trying them all out! There was brownie cake, some pastry, pies, cheescake, ice cream and fruit salad. We also had a couple of drinks from their menu that was well made. Visit with an empty tummy, and with a tummy borrowed too probably. Being a vegetarian, thought it wouldn't be justice to the money I pay. But, on the contrary, there were enough starters served at regular intervals all hot and spicy, grilled or anything according to the personal requirements. Got treated with a few extra dishes that weren't on the regular everyday menu namely fruit grills, etc. Kulfis were over rated, I think they should be served better. It's my first visit BBQ Nation,Coimbatore. I completely enjoyed the food and their hospitality is top notch. Starting from the manager everyone served well. Coming to ambience,No queries about that. Their starters are perfect. Every penny was worthy.When the supervisor asked suggestions on starters I suggested him to try with the bigger button mushrooms as the mushrooms they served were too tiny and within the next two mins I got the bigger mushroom grill. They really work for customer satisfaction. Coming to deserts,I loved the kiwi cheese cake and their kulfi's. Had a great experience there.Try some new menu's on the main course. I just found the usual buffet menu,other than that it's a place for foodies.

Its my first review and I have been to BBQ nation Bangalore once, now that it started in Coimbatore, me and my cousins decided to try it. But it turned out to be one of the worst experiences the food served was very very bad.We had a booking on April 09th and our bill was about 13k for around 12 people. Initially food was all fine , but the prawn dish served did not seem to be good. After we returned home most of us vomit out what we had. It was terrible food served. I understand if one person had a bad stomach, but this lead like 8 of us to throw up. Not returning to this place again. Total waste of money.

There is nothing to take away from the wide variety of starters,main course dishes and the dessert.But, of late the dishes are rep orifice. <br/>This could be because of the fact I have been to the place a lot of times, but a change in their regular menu would be really good. <br/>Their food festivals are something that I would never complain about. <br/>The best place to hang out with your best buddies.

I been there for three time but this time we were on "Coast" festival (sea food's), even they have a wide range of dishes and they damn good too! Personally I loved the veg dishes they even tasteier than Nonveg!. They could have the name " desert king " yes the dessert were too good and no's of flavor. Please concentrate on non-vegetarian. The table customer service was wondering me. But the front desk staffs or not customer friendly. Anyway BBQ Nation is my most favorite!

In one sentence to tell "I just loved it"<br/>We went there by reserving the table before before 2 hours.... <br/>When we entered we had a very warm welcome by them. Then they guided us to the table. We all 6 who went there opted for non-veg. Then they started their service with some panner , pineapple and corn. And they brought Chicken , Fish and Prawns. And they gave us some potato fry, that was simply awesome. And they gave panner tikka followed by Mutton. As soon as we folded the flag down. They cleaned the table and guided us to their Buffet . <br/>Soup - Chicken Mulligatwny <br/>It tasted good and was served at the perfect temperature - not too hot or cold.<br/>Biriyani - Mughalai <br/>It didn't have that much dum but it tasted perfectly good with the raitha.<br/>Crab Masala and Fish Curry - Both to say tasted perfectly well with their soft naans and Kadak rotis. The crab was so soft , the fish also was.<br/>I didn't have the salads. Will do it in my next visit.<br/>Deserts - It was awesome... The cakes were soft and tasted perfectly well. Brownie was not good. The ice creams were good. <br/>They have a Kulfi Corner were they serve one of the best Kulfi in the town. Really loved it.. <br/>Mock tails were also good. I didn't drink cocktails as my stomach was full.<br/>I rate 5/5 for everything I experienced around. Music was also good. As we went there by 10 pm the musician left. Will try to be an early bird on my next visit.<br/>Really we all of us had an awesome dinner in one of the best shops in town.

I have been to BBQ many times in other cities but i liked the outlet in Coimbatore the most thanks to hospitality extended. Barbeque starter tasted awesome as usual. Have been to barbecue nation twice. They have a wide variety of buffet dishes and good desserts. One day, we had a sea food festival and we were specially served with wide variety of fish n prawn at no extra cost. Among the buffet lunch and dinner in coimbatore, this has good taste and good value for money. <br/><br/>The staff were very courteous even though we were little late and provided a small cake for the occasion we went, a cousins s birthday. Best to go with appointment.

We had come all the way from kochi to coimbatore and one of the main agenda was a lunch from here😜.we were lucky to get a table cos it was almost full.The mint lime soda was the drinks which we had which was good.The starters were too good especially the crab,prawns and chicken barbeque.Also the mutton too was good.Honestly the buffet main course wasnt up to the mark compared to starters and you will be full by the time u finish the starters.The desert section best of the lot was the small jamuns.Rest all like icecreams,puddings and kulfis were ordinary.cosmetically was very appealing.Overall i would say excellent service and hospitality.The only black mark was the wash counter considering the rest of the restaurant hygiene.But was surprised by the response of staff and when i told about the same their business head manager came and apoligised for the wash counter hygiene which was indeed good gesture which is indeed appreciable..

Lovely ambience, good and tasty starters, the buffet has a wide variety of dishes. <br/>The kulfi is really good here with a variety of toppings to choose from. <br/>Providing parking in an area like Town Hall is a big plus for them. <br/>Overall, had a nice lunch, will be back for more 😁

When I went, Seafood festival was going on and the food was really good .They had almost most of the seafood dishes i.e crab, calamari ,prawns and even Salmon !! They do provide complimentary cocktails and mocktails during lunch .the meats were really succulent and well marinated and you will definitely enjoy the barbeque no matter what . <br/>Apart from the on table barbeque, the buffet spread is very limited and tastes not so good .non vegetarian items are less but after tasting the barbeque I doubt anyone would want more non-veg dishes. The vegetarian dishes were really good too, especially the curries .<br/><br/>Service is simply fantastic and the waiter refused to accept “tips” as its already included in the service charge, I was flabbergasted, as I have never come across such a wonderful system where waiters are trained to say no to tips in India and what's more impressive is, the service charge is just 4% and not 10 % like other places .<br/><br/>Deserts are a huge let down and they should really look into this , I'm not complaining about the quantity of deserts but at the quality, which is below par . Skip the ice creams and go for the kulfi stall where you can customize your kulfi as much as you like . But For 600/- bucks this is really worth every single penny you spend here . Weekends you need reservation else get ready for a long wait .

Since we missed our reservation by almost 15 minutes, our table was released. We had to wait for like 15 more minutes to get another table. The staff were very polite and helpful. <br/><br/>The barbecue was as amazing as always. Being typical South Indians, we had request the barbecue be made extra spicy and it was made accordingly. Totally loved the chicken and prawns.<br/><br/>Main course was slightly disappointing, but that didn't matter. Had gone for the afternoon buffet by making a reservation. The service was extraordinary,<br/>Kebabs & Barbeque meats which come as starters were good but a much too salty i feel (may vary by person). The complimentary drink is a good addition (mocktails,flavored soda/beer).<br/>Prawns,chicken ,Fish,Mutton ,mushrooms,paneer etc were there for starters<br/>MAIN COURSE:<br/>The Lucknowi Biriyani , Lal ghosh(mutton gravy) were my favorites,<br/>For some reason we were not happy with the crab meat which had a stale essence which was mutually felt by Harshvardhan Narasimhan .But they took the effort to bring in the cook who tried to explain that it wasn't stale n personally brought us a new batch of crab meat.If this hadn't happened i would given the place a 'Four' to :Four point Five'<br/>The veg course isnt a disappointment for vegans as it had the favorite palak panneers etc<br/>The desserts were satisfactory.<br/>In short it's a good place for meat lovers & vegans alike , who should cling on with the starters.<br/>Hoping to have a better experience next time so that i can Up my rating!! :)<br/><br/>

Been there couple of time but the choices for vegetarians keep reducing they used to give arbi and some other veggies in the begining. Now it is just paneer, corn and mushrooms. Guys there are other cropping up I the city so need more options. They need to learn from the same outlets in other cities. In Bangalore and Mumbai the options and varies are to god.

I have visited BBQ Nation couple of times. It has a amazing ambience and extravagant delicacies to relish. Love the starters ESPECIALLY Cajun spiced potatoes is really good. I live with starters :P not amazed by main dish. However, ice cream and jamun fills the gap.

This is my second time to BBQ Nation. The taste of the food is damn good and it doesn't go off your tongue till the next morning. Service was really amazing and the chef came to our table and asked for our feedback to make the dishes more delicious for us. Starters are the best part of the course main course is also good but the varieties of dishes are quite low. Finally the desserts and kulfi were yummy. BBQ is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to.

A great place for Barbeque. Good ambience and great dining experience along with the addition of the kulfi counter as the cherry on top of the cake. Vegetations can be satisfied too as the menu caters well to them also. But, off late, the quality has been degrading a bit. And, the location can be a bit of a problem as it's not in the most convenient place.

We decided to try out Barbeque Nation cuz of the good reviews we had read in zomato..both for its chennai branch and Cbe.we had booked a table for 5 on a Friday,we had reached there early and our table was ready by d time we had reached.<br/>Service was too good,they sang a superb bday song fr our frnd, with a cake that was nothing but cream.Disappointed with the cake.<br/>Starters were too good..special mention goes to Cajun potatoes and grilled pineapples.We kept asking for more.<br/>Chilli paneer and mushroom can be improvised.<br/>Non veg starters were all good except chilli prawns.<br/>Main course needs inclusion of more number of dishes.<br/>And sorry guys..the desserts disappointed us.Needs more variety and the cakes need to be improved in taste and so does the ice cream.<br/>But we re still gonna come again for the different experience and the excellent service they had offered. Went to bbq nation with expectation of good food but when I got there the food was not only amazing, the staff were even outdid the quality of the food. They were very cordial, making sure we got food on time. The overall atmosphere was pleasant and the layout was such that the customer's privacy is maintained. However the non veg starters did not have much selection despite having amazing quality. When it comes to veg starters I wasnt as pleased.<br/>Overall amazing place!

Had a wonderful experience, the food was so delicious also the drinks were soooo awesome. Very good hospitality booked the table for 9.30 but visited the place by 10.15 got a call at 10 to inform that the starters will get over by 10.45 so kindly requested to hurry up, 45 mins late but still was provided with a seat and starters till 11. About their food: everythg was sooo yummy, my all time favorite was prawns as it was mouth watering delicious and tried screwdriver and it did really work out. The food during the Thai festival wasn't as good as it normally is in regular days. But they tried to provide the best Thai Food with an Indian touch. A person with good knowledge of taste would definitely appreciate their efforts. <br/> <br/>3. Starters were really good. And they offered a large variety . Main course wasn't that great.<br/>Desserts were the best among the lot as always. <br/><br/>4. I have been to their African Festival in Chennai and Chandigarh in the past but they weren't as good as it usually is. Their Sea Food festival this year was just too good. U couldn't have asked for more for that price. Be it chicken , mutton , fish , prawns , squid , octopus etc etc. <br/><br/>One thing I have noticed is that they take the reviews of the customers in a positive manner and improve themselves. BBQ nation was by far the best place for a buffet! It is totally worth it. The only flaw I found was we had to wait for around 30 minutes cause we didn't make a reservation. But the wait was totally worth it. And staff who waiters who attend to you make sure you stay happy through out your meal. Make sure to ask for Cajun Spice Potatoes when you go over there. Its supposed to be their signature entre. The waiter was kind enough to even call out the chef to explain how it was done just cause I asked him. Loved the overall experience!!

Went there for a friend's birthday treat, the ambience is excellent, was really impressed with the quality of service. Yummy kebabs with a pint of ice cold beer really works...a definite place to go.

Love the peculiarity they manage to provide with every starter. The ambience is good for such a place and he service is on par with star hotels. Limited and ordinary dishes on the buffet menu, but impeccable in terms of taste. But the starters make up for that. Would suggest you jump directly from the starters to the dessert section. I love this place. The ambience and their hospitality👍. Starters are the highlight both veg. and non veg., (esp cajun spice potatoes👌and murg tikkas). Main courses wasn't that great but had loads of varieties. They had great choices of mocktails and cocktails. Desserts are mouth watering. Kulfi counter was good too. It's the best place for people with big appetites.

Barbecue nation in Coimbatore is a bombshell. They have got the pricing right and the starters live up their name. Though some times u feel they could do better with the main courses. Deserts and other beverages deserve mention. Chocolate Monk is must try.

we tried dinner over here. Menu was extremely good. We have tried many dishes from here. most of the dishes were good. there are some below average dishes also. The choice of dessert was extreamly superb. never seen such a wide dishes for dessert anywhere else.<br/>parking, ambience and amenities was good. if you can eat more than a average guy, this place is really good. even if you cannot eat much i suggest everyone should try this atleast once. anyway i will go here again.

Good ambience and pleasant atmosphere. Staffs do coordinate. I loved the songs played which perfectly mingled with the atmosphere. The staffs need to improve their delivery time. Once ordered, they take long time to bring food to your table.

We only need to write one review for BBN for all Blore and Coimbatore. Every factors are same. Even the recipe. Ambience. Service. Food(except for the crab in Blore). Live music. We, friends met each other after almost a year and wanted to have a decent lunch. I was elated to see BBQ nation in Coimbatore still with the old prices.<br/><br/>We booked a table at 2.30 pm. We were accommodated even though we were 35 mins late.<br/><br/>The ambience was pretty good, with tables in upper levels also.<br/><br/>The service was below par considering their standards. The waiters seemed to be in a hurry to see us off. They had stuffed the table grill with more grill sticks than it could hold. The complimentary drinks were brought only when we were almost finished with the starters. Refills were brought very late. Overall I was very dissatisfied with the service.<br/><br/>The food was pretty good as usual. However I was disappointed knowing that the cheesecake was over by the time I started with the desserts.<br/><br/>Overall, had a yummy sumptuous meal, but the service could have been better.

It's the second time I visited with my friends for my birthday party. The first time we went there was "Grill se" festival going and it was good. But the second time we went the taste was not the same. We requested for spicy starters and unfortunately we ended in leaving the place with dissatisfaction. We felt it is not worth the price.

The much hyped BBQ..being a vegetarian,I didn't find it worth the money as the taste and quality are just above average and nothing unique here. Deserts are below average .

This was one of the best food experience I have had. We had actually arrived one hour before the reservation time (25 people) . Although there was not much of a waiting area , we were sitting on steps , but they took good care of us even sending us refreshments and water . The kids were allowed to have a little starters as they were becoming hungry . Inside the dining area was nicely decorated and had a good feel to it. With the tables being comfortable . The food was really good with each barbeque having a unique taste . Enjoyed the fish a lot . Since we had two bdays they also gave us complimentary cakes for us to cut . The only problem I felt was the desert could have been better. The khulfi dint taste very good . On the whole a good experience

Great starters. Fast service and coloured plates to help them serve the right starters. Very courteous staff and delicious non veg on the menu. BBQ Nation is a must try. The Indian desserts taste better here, but I suggest you fill your stomach with the starters itself! The rest of the menu is standard, I don't mean they aren't good. The staff will also sing you a birthday song on Your day!

One of t best places to take your family for a lunch/dinner, without any dilemma. Though less varieties of starters are served, they are unlimited and delicious. Better to go for a pre-booking since the place is a bit crowded at nights and weekends. You can watch out for offers during weekends. It would be great if they start serving complimentary beer for dinner as well ;-) . And the best part of all is that you have wonderful and patient waiters serving each table. Best part of all is that if you are lucky and you hav a b'day chap among your gang, you can expect a song performance from the waiters along with a complimentary cake cut.

Hi All.. Finally back with a review! Been here for lunch on Saturday. Pretty crowded place buzzing with banter, wafting aromas of delicious food n some good music! Prior booking table mandatory esp on a weekend.. Ambience is good, better than their Indiranagar outlet but could do better if compared to Jubilee Hills outlet in Hyderabad. Food was excellent. Though am a "kattar" non vegetarian, was totally blown away by the Cajun potatoes n the fried corn. The paneer Tikka, chicken leg and mutton seekh kebab was succulent. Prawn black pepper and Fish Adraki was what we enjoyed the most. The spread for main course was equally amazing, but couldn't have much as desserts were waiting to be devoured! Most succulent Gulab jamuns around.. yum yum.. Kulfi corner is also great. Other desserts were standard,nothing great.. All in all a great dining experience. We were specially touched when they served non spicy starters for my 3 yr old :-) Now that's hospitality.. Good place to treat friends n family..

A great experience eating there. The best thing is that they have these charcoal stoves in your tables where they put these kabab kinda things, so you can eat it right out of it so hot. Food options and dessert options are really vast..And also the chefs out there approach and ask for suggestions from you n immediately change the taste according to your wish. I was excited to hear that Barbeque nation had opened up here in Coimbatore. Having eaten from this place in Bangalore, I knew that the food is going to be good. And I wasn't. <br/><br/>The main attraction in the entire buffet is the unlimited starters. You can happily stuff yourself with it and not bother about the other stuff in the buffet. Trust me, the starters are that good. It's a delight for both the veg and non-veg aficionados.  I really did not try their buffet because like I said, I was stuffed like a turkey. Their desserts are not bad either. The best part about this place is that they keep changing the menu, so  every time you go there, you will find something good to eat.  <br/><br/>The service is good and the staff is courteous. In terms of pricing, well I believe its is reasonable, given the items on the menu. A great place to visit during weekends. I was initially hesitant to try this place as non vegans used to rave about this place and I have not even heard them mention about vegetarian food there !! I was sooo wrong !! This place has equally good starters for vegetarians also .. Their Cajun spiced potatoes is simply yum !! I understand that this place is mainly for starters and so their main course is not that great .. Except those melting Jamuns , desserts don't find a mention !! Overall very good <br/><br/><br/>

Like all of its other outlets, it keeps up to its reputation with an array of unlimited starters. The taste is pretty good for the starters, though the main dishes weren't upto the expectation. The desserts were nice, though not great. For the downside, long waiting time, need for pre-booking( very hard to get a place if u r just walking in,especially in a group), same starters which gets boring after 2-3 visits(especially when u r shelling out 900+ bucks for one person), average main dish varieties, and a not-so-strategically placement of the restaurant makes it easier to ponder over other options. A great restaurant to visit on those special occasions, but not on a regular basis!!

I was a regular at the Chennai outlets. This is one place I craved for. I was waiting for it to open in Coimbatore. Hands down, one of the best restaurants in Coimbatore! Food here is so good that you should starve yourself before you go here so that you can stuff as much as you want. Don't be shy to ask what you want. Be it spice levels or a new dish. I had requested them to provide me with additional veg options and I was amazed at the choices I got. Must try!!

We went for Dinner Buffet. Even though they have different pricing for different days, number of items they serve remains the same on all days. This is an unique type of buffet where the starters are the special item of this hotel. They will have around 8 starters everyday (4 veg and 4 Nonveg) and everything is barbeque. But this is not authentic barbeque but more like tandoori. Biriyani and gravies are okay but not great. <br/><br/>Their service is excellent, especially replacing the starters in real quick time in your table until you turn the flag down. Salads and desserts were good. They served 6 varieties of Kulfi when we visited. They are also good. They take a group photograph of us while dining and giving the print to us. And suddenly they dance for some hindi songs and everyone is enjoying it. We will have a good overall experience. So, definitely it is worth visiting.

Watte food-full and delicious birthday I had here @Barbeque Nation. Well-known great starters, good main-course and surprisingly yummy desserts! The good thing I noticed here at CBE Barbeque Nation is that they serve better desserts than the Bangalore and Chennai ones! Well, trust me..I have been there on quite a few occasions.<br/>The decor and theme remains the same as most of the Barbeque Nations around the country. They showed me a nice gesture by offering me my bday cake.<br/>Here's a secret.. Try this place during lunch timings on weekdays.. They offer a complimentary beer along with the buffet at about rs.600.<br/>Enjoy the grill!

After a lot of wait I happen to visit BBQ.I visited on Sunday the hall was completely full and the staff were busy running around. It happened that there is no complimentary drink on Sunday (although we pay extra on Sundays).The Mocktail Chocolate Monk was great. The food on grill was great especially the sea food. The buffet was not at alll interesting but the desserts were the best.The walnut brownies and gulb jamuns are the ones to look out for.

After much of a wait to visit BBQ, we decided to hit the place on a local holiday. Being a weekday, they were running frikking busy. But we managed to get a table for 6 at around 2:45PM. And being very punctual citizens, we reached the place at sharp 3, before which the manager had called us at least 4 times(twice when we were in the lift.) And as we entered, our table was ready, but some communication gap, we had to adjust into a table for 5. To my best abilities I will try to write this review based on what I experienced without letting anything that happened in between affect each other aspect of my review.<br/>So we found ourselves seated, the place was well lit not much spent on decors, but comfortable crowdy colors and, they kinda have a duplex seating,a level one from the normal seatings. Poor them, they had to walk longer to fill up for the buffets :P. And started off with starters without wasting anytime. It was around 3:10 and we were told that starters close at 3:45! Never mind, we garrisoned all our appetite and for most of us it was the first live grill we ever went. The veg starters was a sloppy line-up, seriously, this is not someone who is craving would want to see. There was effectively, panner, potato, mushroom, panner, onions, peppers, apple, pineapple, guava, panner, potato, did I mention panner again? The panner was kinda looked like it was ovened, perfect blend of flavours(which were on the high side as we wanted em to be,) the best was chilly potato, which was basically boiled potato, ovened(or grilled) and marinated with a sauce(which the waiter did not know.) Out of the world. I felt they should have used potatoes that are not sweet in nature(the one's used in making fries.) I would keep hogging just for the sauce on top. And the only two places live grill was useful for veggies were with veggies and peppers with button mushrooms. The fruits on the grill is a huge let down, despite the fact that I tried em with all sauces separately. Veggies also have this kebab, which is just good, nothing great to brag about.<br/>The non-veg starters were far better. There was fish, chicken, prawns on the live. With the variety of sauce and seasoning, they were a really good and went well, grilled exclaimed two of my meat eating friends :P. The mocktails that accompany from the starters were all unique(I liked sweet lime and Blazer Blue,) they also serve various other cocktails. And quickly off to the main-course without any time lag, because we were told that the buffet closes by 4:30 :/. For a veggie meal, main course ruled. They served a pulav, and dhal sabji, roti and naan were served on request, spinach and corn gravy(tasted more like palak) and a panner (which is a dupe of the panner from the starters into the gravy form but was still very nice) and an assorted veggie fried and marinated in a platter, which was just as fine. Additionally noodles and a biriyani kinda pulav was also served, which tasted the way they're supposed to. Salads, man, such a great effort. Very few places take in the pain of perfecting salads and here this new joint at CBE, proudly have. The german potatoes(boiled potatoes in fresh cream and muted spices) the spicy lettuce(I gave it the name :P) which was just lettuce marinated with spices and Indian red chilly powder. Sprout salade, mostly made with fresh brown sprouts in cucumber and other veggies and much more. The above mentioned are my personal favourites. Non-veg was equally good with a variety of crabs(for which no hammer was given to break the shells) and again chicken and prawns. I really couldn't intervene into their plates as I was pretty occupied with mine :P.<br/><br/>And with hefty steps, and no more space left in the tummy we walked towards the desserts. Baah, never mind, take a touch of each, we said to each other. To our dismay, there was a little sloppy work in the choco truffle, which was over baked and jamuns were a little under fried(or cooked.) On my other visit got to taste on a coconut payasam, with no dumped sugars or other sweeteners than the natural sweetness of coconut. The variety of ice-cream was contained to just two, but no one had a tooth for desserts after such a heavy course. They've really put the dessert together in a really cool way and is a must try, so save some space for them.<br/><br/>Service,<br/>Complete disappointment.<br/>First thing, they know they run out on a full house on holidays, so they should have limited the number of reservations on such days.<br/>Two, the management should educate waiters on how to serve. I saw all the waiters running impatiently like they were in some race. One of the gentlemen who served us was in so much hurry he spilt a glass of water off into the grill and *splooosch* They did replace everything, but still this is not something the guests would want to see.<br/>Three, they should let the customers know the timings they close the starters and buffet well before hand. There might be a plenty of people who might not be aware about your timings and when you close.<br/>Four, waiters practically have very little idea of what they serve. The grilled fruits were restricted to just one serve.<br/>Far more vegetables have been tried out for the grill recently.<br/><br/>Towards the end of the lunch or dinner. The brushes places alongside the seasonings were not replaced until asked to. C'mon man, this is basic hygiene.<br/>A better/efficient chimney system that could take out the charring odour out of the TR should be considered an option, in case the current one is sloppy. I kept feeling that odour throughout.<br/>The refills in the buffet were prompt and timely even during closing hours, really appreciable.<br/>The manager, since was unavailable when we left, called back to get our feedback and answered the queries, which is the only way they keep the guests wanting to come back.<br/><br/>Over-rated on zomato, at least to what I expected and experienced. When something first of it's kind is debuted, the hype takes it a long way, but not far.<br/>After my second visit, ratings are going up!<br/>Service has improved remarkably.<br/><br/>Food - 3.5/5<br/>Ambience - 3/5<br/>Service - 3/5

It came on somewhere on mid this year, it is the best restaurant I have visited considering all the factors for a restaurant. I loved their ambience, food there was great although it has pretty much the same menu most of the time.. Lvd it though..

Good food..... Good ambience....... Good experience. Love their food festival expecially the Albuauerque Atomic Chicken paired with the garlic mayonnaise sauce and the Outback Emu Chicken paired with the mango sauce.

I have always loved Barbeque Nation in Bangalore and wad delighted to see it now in Coimbatore. As expected the starters, main course and desserts had variety and was delicious. You would not know where to start.

My first visit to BBQN Coimbatore, Great experience... Everything same as Bangalore ( I haven't visited Chennai yet). I couldn't resist filling my stomach only with starters... had great dinner... next time I will try main course as well... ;)

Easily the best place to dine in Coimbatore. Located in townhall, has valet parking. The starters are the ones to look for and they are served on the table. Since its a buffet type I need not suggest you the dishes to order I will only recommend you to skip a meal before dinning at Bbq nation. Keep space for the desserts, the pastries are unlimited and tasty!<br/>Book your tables in advance! The rates ate cheaper on Monday and Tuesday afternoon!

If u r a damn good eater. This could the first choice for you in the the City. They serve only Buffet. Price differs for lunch dinner and they have an early bird offer where there is reduction in pricing. But never in quality or quantity. They are located in different parts of India. Always wanted to visit this place but was joy to the core when they opened operations in CBE. They have a huge buffet that, I could bet many wouldn't cross starters. Every one should visit this place once in their life time to experience a live BBQ at the table. BBQ,s are best experienced when done in open but this could give u a very good experience.
