Had the mouth-watery Pichupotta Kozhi, Kari Dosa, Mutton Kola and many more. The food taste was hot and satisfying but the place was so compact and we waited for some time to dine in.

We recently visited one of Coimbatore's busiest non-veg restaurants, and I must say, the experience left an indelible mark on our taste buds. Located in the heart of the city, this bustling eatery not only lives up to its reputation as one of the busiest spots in town. The ambiance exudes a vibrant energy, with the constant hum of conversations and the enticing aroma of variety of dishes. Despite the apparent chaos, the staffs are masters of efficiency, ensuring prompt service without compromising the qualtiy The food is exceptional, boasting a rich variety of flavorful non-veg dishes that cater to diverse tastes of our own “Kongu Nattu recipes”. The prices may be on high side but it’s worth it. While the restaurant's popularity might mean a wait during peak hours, the overall experience makes it well worth the patience. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this spot is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in the diverse and delectable world of non-vegetarian cuisine.

We tasted almost 6-7 dishes. Mutton chukka, Mutton biryani, Mutton liver fry, Pichi pota kozhi, Pallipalayam chicken Prawns pepper, Vanjaram fry, non veg meals and chicken 65. Everything tasted good and unique. Perfect spot for TN style meals and non veg dishes. Loved it.

Valarmathi mess is one of my favourite restaurants in Coimbatore. Any day if you want to try authentic Kongu style non-vegetarian food, this is the place. It's usually crowded and one has to wait. Biriyani and Parotta varieties for dinner and Non-Veg meals for the lunch are mostly ordered. Ghee parotta along with Kongu style Nattukozhi gravy is my all time favourite. Biriyani is equally good. Pieces are nicely roasted. The masala of any gravy is authentic and tastes very good. Some main courses are ready made. They serve in Banana leaf which retains the taste and aroma. Seating is limited. There is enough parking space around but it's usually hard to find an empty one. The service is average. Update: In recent times, the dishes are salty. Hence, reducing a star.

I was recommended to visit this restaurant by my brother during my trip to Coimbatore for lunch. I went along with my colleague, and when we arrived by cab, we were surprised to see a large crowd waiting in front of the hotel. We gave our names and patiently waited for our turn to be seated. After a 30-minute wait, our names were finally called, and we entered the restaurant. We ordered Biryani, Chicken Pallipalayam, Kola Urundai, and Fish. All the dishes were prepared in a delicious Kongu style, and almost every dish was outstanding. The Biryani and the Kola were absolute must-tries. As for the price, it was reasonable and definitely worth it for the quality of food and service we received.

Hi I'm happy to share this review based on my experience that we have dined in ordered "Plain Parotta, Egg Kal Dosai, Egg Podi Dosai, Plain Dosai, Egg Kothu Parotta. Plain Dosai were especially crispy with taster coconut chutney and tomato chutney definitely ultimate. Egg Kothu Parota taste is average. Other varieties of dosai taste good. Non Veg Kulumbu Varieties are tasteful. Must try. Dine In With AC & Non AC Facilities Available. Note [For Parcel] : If you are ordering parcel. It may be delayed I have waited for more than 10+Mins. It was very disappointing that management should do the needful to deliver the orders earlier.

A great place to taste the kongunadu style food menus. Overall a satisfied experience to hang with family dinner. The mentioned items in the menu are available and served on time. Taste and quantity was good. Usual wait will be there at peak hours. Good parking space around and easy to reach. A must try spot to dine with Family and friends at race course area.

A mess that is reasonably priced which has a great tasty food. But always too crowded and you have to wait for too long in weekends. It's worth waiting to taste the food. But make sure to go there before u r feeling hungry, otherwise waiting period there will make u carving for food. All our family members visited on a Sunday and we waited too long to find a seat since it was heavily crowded. Food is not too spicy, so we can feed it to kids without any worry and our kids really loved the food here.

One of my favorite go to restaurants in cbe. Had Dinner at Valarmathi after almost a year. I used to have lunch here repeatedly during my college days. We ordered Mutton Briyani, Chintamani dosa, Mutton Chukka, Pallipalayam chicken, Fish chilly, Mutton kola Uranda, Kal dosa and kalaki. I really liked the aroma and flavor of the mutton briyani. Mutton pieces were so succulent. I felt nostalgic remembering my college days. Mutton chukka with kal dosa - Deadly combo Pallipalayam chicken masala was good, but the chicken was chewy a bit. Fish chilly - Big no for me. Chintamani Dosa - We expected chintamani chicken stuffed in a dosa but it was like egg dosa with chintamani essence, irritating tomatoes and zero chicken piece. We ordered Mutton kola at the end, was good Dining area was bit noisy but you wont mind when you immerse yourself in tasting good food. People have wait to atleast 15mins to dine in.

Excellent Spicy Kongu food options. Biryani and curries too good. Long wait times and small place. Gets too crowded and service is slow.

Such a great food we ever had at Coimbatore. Thi place is simple a heaven. All the things that we ordered were finger licking good to be exact. The mutton and nattu kolli kurma which they serve with porota is soo good. And you much try the mutton keema balls, prawns fry and ofcourse their biriyani. We were completely satisfied with all the food that we have ordered. A good meal at very affordable price. Yet to try many more delicious dishes from here. You might have to wait for a bit as their is rush in all time at the shop. But the wait is of worth I would say.

I can totally understand why the place is always super busy. I have been here 3 times over the past year and i was not disappointed. Brain fry, Non veg meals, Mutton Nalli and Vanjaram Fry all are fantastic. Mutton Briyani wasnt as good as other items.

Good food. Service excellent. Polite and humble behaviour of the waiters and hotel staff. Homely atmosphere. Meals are served quickly. Tried their signature chicken biryani and chicken starters. Worth the money.
