One of the best dining in coimbatore. Had ishang chicken, shangai fried rice with chicken manchow soup, excellent taste.

Literally my favourite restaurant. The food is absolutely top notch and the portions are great too. Recommed the thai fried rice, dim sums, fried squid and wonton clear soup and chop suey

One of the very good Chinese restaurants in coimbatore. Food here is great. Have visited the restaurant multiple times in the past. Service is kind of ok. Had to keep waving hands for almost everything. Portion size is quite sufficient for 2 people.

Best place for Chinese food. Usually portions will be larger so when you are ordering do request the service person to help understand the portion size so you don't end up ordering excessively. Mostly crowded, no upfront reservation required.

My first time was on 1st this year. Iparticularly decided to go with my family, Really good place to enjoy with family 👪 & groups friends. Expensive but worth it. Dishes divided as medium, regular as your quantity choices, Good dishes to choose, good seafoods are available but I Recommend that pork 🥩 can also be added along with. Good service Neatness, ambience place I recommend everyone who prefer Chinese foods to visit here.

I visit cascade only to have their fried icecream. It's a must try dessert. Overall it has a good ambience and the food tastes good. Few dishes very nice

Food was good, The service was also decent enough. The food is expensive tho, the quantity is good enough, anything you order 2 people can eat easily. Ambience is also good and neat.

We had lunch couple weeks back. Taste is pretty good and the quantity is moree. Nothing specific on ambience its just normal. The cost is too high! 3 starters and one bowl of noodles costs 2k.

Service was fast. Food tasted good. Only the fish which we ordered was not upto the mark. Chilli beef tasted very good. Sweet corn chicken soup was very tasty. Fried rice was also good. They serve in huge portions, should plan accordingly before ordering. We were eight adults, overall bill was approx Rs 650/person

Lovely old world charm, decent good (except the caramelized banana, don't order that:)). Dragon chicken, chilli garlic noodles chilli chicken and Kung pao chicken were all good. Slightly pricey for the town, but excellent service.

Serves Chinese, Thai cuisine. Price is on little higher side compared to the ambience n size of the restaurant. But it can be overseen considering the quantity that they serve. It was a very large portion. Taste is authentic. Inner fried rice can serve 2. Courtesy of the main staff (not the servers) to be improved. Over all good restaurant to visit if you are looking for an authentic Chinese cuisine.

Good veg and meat/seafood Chinese. Flavours are very "desi", not authentic Chinese but tasty nonetheless. Recommend the garlic fried rice, soups, and spring rolls. Avoid the juices/sodas.

This place has always been good wherever I visit. The soup and the starters and the fried rice were top notch. The dimpsum was out of the world. Only thing is a tad costly but they make up for it with the portion of food.

I have been here last weekend and spend almost 2 hours dining multiple dishes for my lunch. First of all the ambience and customer experience is too good. Secondly i want to write an essay about your dishes but i cant do an essay here so lets make it a short one. I ordered tom yam soup. It got no taste and very bland. It was like they have put the tastemaker of tom yam soup in a hot water. When i placed an order, i have informed please bring tom yam soup and rice together but they didnt do what i asked and then brought the soup first and after a gap of 10-15 minutes, they delivered the steam rice. I assume they arent aware the thai people eat tom yom soup with steam rice in the noon, thats the combination how you eat. If u ask if we indians have a combination of sambhar and rice for lunch, its somewhat similar to it so how can u eat sambhar first and rice later. I was very much suprised they servce thai dishes but dont even aware the thai cuisine serving etiquettes. I was very excited to see charcoal keow teow which is a very famous malysia dish but they spoiled the name by making such a bad dish. This has to be somewhat semi wet paste and a blend of burnt charcoal with keow teow but what i got served was keow teow with maggi noodles. It was a hell kind of dish. I dont wanna write more abt other dishes but overall my dining experience with you was very bad and I will never suggest someone to give a try becauze its aint worth for your money. You spend quite a big amount for a dish but alas the dish comes as worthless. Ur quantity is too much for a single person to consume so please i would suggest to please reduce the quantity and maintain the same price but offer the authentic thai cuisnes because i dont mind paying double the amount for the same dish if the taste is upto the mark.

I ordered char kwetiau, prawn tempura, prawn dumplings, cheese wonton, tomyam soup<br/><br/>Char kwetiaw looks and taste nothing like char kwetiaw. How in the earth, u mixed kwetiaw and noodle together and called it char kwetiaw when the taste is very very far from char kwetiaw. At least don’t mix kwetiaw with noodles. U charged a high price and the quality is horrible. <br/><br/>Prawn tempura looks nothing like a prawn tempura. Taste is good but doesn’t even look like a tempura. Learn how to make a tempura.<br/><br/>The rest is so so.<br/><br/>I was about to order AIS KACANG, and I clarified with the waiter if they put peanut inside, to my horror he said no. I wanted to lecture him about what AIS KACANG is but I thought it ll waste my time. FYI, AIS = ICE & KACANG = PEANUT. So how in the world it doesn’t have peanut. <br/><br/>If you want to make a menu from another country pleas learn more especially u put a high price. If it was cheap, i wont mind. <br/><br/>Good ambiance but will not visit again

I love chinese food, hence I thought of giving them a try, but I ended up liking only the Fried Ice cream they make..the batter was so flavourful...But the main course egg fried rice and chilly prawns was so bland...<br/>Chilly prawns wasnt spicy at all ,also the tail of the prawn wasnt removed, which is usually done at speciality restaurants.Coming to beverages ,ordered kiwi mint slash, I felt happy that they use real kiwi fruit to make this, but again it wasnt properly filtered big pieces of kiwi clogged the straw..The waiter was pleasant ,but the supervisors didnt really look receptive...I wont visit this place again.

The food is good, quantity is worth the cost BUT when you order using their website you end up losing money. They will decline your order with no reason and will not refund your money too. Lost nearly Rs.2500 to these parasites. <br/><br/>Order by swiggy or zomato is better than their non- functional website. Each item will cost around 30-40 bucks more, but atleast, hey you wont lose your money completely

Had ordered food at home. It included veg manchow soup and mushroom, babycorn and broccoli in sesame sauce. Both the dishes were really nice and the quantity was more than sufficient. Total value for money.

Went here on my birthday. Their Momos, Red Thai Curry and Dragon chicken are to die for. Very prompt service and courteous staff. Weekends get crowded. But the staff manage quite well. There's ample parking space too.

Taste was good as expected, I liked all the items.<br/><br/>One thing to be cautious while ordering is the quantity. At times one bowl of rice or noodles will be enough for 2 persons. We ordered 1 rice variety and 1 noodle, which was more sufficient for 3 persons. So considerably price is high for one plate, but it will serve for 2 people. They serve you all the items initially and later you can server yourself.<br/><br/>Fried Ice cream is special here, which can be tried. We had a wonderful dinner here. One rice will suffice for 2 persons, as suggested by the staff. The taste was excellent too. We had Prawn tempura, thai fried rice and veg balls gravy, none of which disappointed us.

Chose this place as the name is familiar. <br/><br/>When you compare this to other cascade restaurant, there is definitely lot of scope for improvement.<br/><br/>Be it the service, taste, quality. <br/>Quantity is definitely more. For light eaters, one order suffices two people. <br/><br/>The restaurant was not crowded. Service was still not very prompt. We had to keep searching for the staff. <br/><br/>Being a vegetarian, i cannot comment on their chicken specialty.( dragon chicken is a recommended specialty I heard).<br/><br/>Tried soup - definitely good.<br/><br/>Wontons - need improvement. Tasted bland. Requires lil more flavor.<br/><br/>Fried rice was okay. This place is absolute disaster!!! Got messed up totally. Went fa a get together today and we all lost our temper bcz of the worst behaviour of server attending us. Sucha mannerless person. We were waiting fa our friend by ordering food beyond the closing time of the kitchen. That particular sever couldn't wait fa us to complete our lunch instead asked us to finish it quick and leave. The worst thing is he was shamelessly staring at us ..literally staring at us the whole time and gave the cheque before we could ask fa it and said to leave. Ugghhhh pathetic service. And Food was absolute disaster . And the taste can nowhere come close to all other restaurants..! They were not hot and fresh ..tasteless ... ufff I would neva recommend anybody here ...anymore. #growup ppl.

Go-to place in Coimbatore for satisfying Chinese food. I love their soups and dimsums. Taste wise is always satisfying here. <br/>Food is quite a bit expensive. But the quantity they serve is quite large. If two people go u must order one meal only which is more than enough to easily serve two. Fried rice is served really large quantity. <br/>Overall dining experience and ambience will be peaceful and classy 👌🏻

I was a regular at The Cascade until a few years back. The quality had started to deteriorate and it was no more among the first few restaurants to come to mind.<br/>Fortunately, the place has made a comeback. I visited the place today and am happy to announce that the quality, quantity and service is now back to the early high standards.

Not that great. Din't live up to the hype that is going around. The machow chicken soup was fine but only with few pieces of chicken for the price is pay. But the dragon chicken was not as great as people say it is. I have tasted better dragon chicken than this in Coimbatore, Won't be ordering again.

I went to this place with my family. Ambience is really pleasing but the food is just average. Plus they took more than 30 minutes to serve the food which was very irritating.

The best restaurant @Coimbatore. I find them best- Hot & Sour Chicken Soup, Beef sizzler, Dragon Chicken and Veg fried rice! And finally a Brownie with Ice Cream! ;)

Went to this restaurant with my colleagues. The soup was good. We ordered around 5 starters but only the chicken lollipop turned out to be good. The spices in the lamb dish was same for the chilli fish as well. <br/><br/>Went with high expectations but the food turned out to be below average.

Had Fried rice during the only visit to this place. It was good. The ambiance is so good that you'll feel so comfortable at this place. Pricing is OK. Planning to visit soon to try our their Dragon Chicken.

It's a good place. Great for kids. It's a bit expensive and they don't actually reduce the spice level even if we tell them. It's just that they don't listen. I went with my family and cousins. There is scanty amount of veg good food. While non veg is great. So I can just say that schzwan fried rice and noodles is ofcorse really spicy!!!!

If I go to Coimbatore 10 Times I’ll go to Cascade the same number of times if not more. Their food is so good especially their dragon chicken. They have the BEST dragon chicken in the world and it’s something I always crave for. It’s so good that whenever I try to turn vegetarian this dish is the only dish that could stop that from happening.<br/>They have other dishes that are good too like their fried rice and fried ice cream. The service and ambiance here is great too.

Good thing about cascade is if you are ordering a dish almost your whole family can eat it. So better slow down before ordering. Almost all types of noodles taste alike. I felt the taste wasn't really upto the mark . Chinese food could really taste than this . Service was really good though.

Love their ambience. Their food is good too, some items are inconsistent but the ones I regularly order are pretty ok. Best to stick to basics here. One of my favorite places to get togo on a Saturday night. Also good for a date night.

This is not my first time to Cascade. Since my friends were craving for Chinese, and this place is the most reputed in the city- we found ourselves there for lunch. Normally, Cascade never disappoints. But today’s experience was quite different.<br/><br/>We ordered Dragon Chicken, Lamb honey crispy fries and Prawn tempura. The Dragon chicken as usual was spot on, but what surprised us all was the lamb dish. It was so crispy and the quantity of honey was just perfect so as to not ruin the taste of the lamb! However the prawn tempura was a disappointment- the size of the prawns were extremely small when compared to the corn flower coating, and the sauce wasn’t that great either :/<br/><br/>Coming to the main course, we ordered Mee Goreng (chicken) and Crab and prawn fried rice. Sadly to say, we didn’t enjoy both dishes. The fried rice was too bland and the crab pieces were so tiny, we couldn’t taste both the prawn and the crab. The noodle had extremely huge chunks of tofu in it, which pretty much ruined the taste for us.<br/>Nevertheless, we had our share of fun there, and actually learnt what not to order in Cascade today!

I've been going to this restaurant a fair number of times and truth be told, I've come back satisfied every single time. Ample parking space, very good ambiance, friendly staff, great menu are some primes. There are acoustics installed within the dining area. This makes it very comfortable even when the place is crowded though it rarely is. My personal favourite is the wonton soup and the crispy lamb. You won't know what hit you. The mocktails are good as well. A definite try if you are looking for good chinese in Coimbatore. You will end up happily sleeping with your tummy full.<br/>On another note, one order of anything usually serves atleast two. Caution if you are flying solo, not the place for you.

This place is amazing in terms of ambience as well as customer service, they are pretty quick. The quantity of a single dish however serves about two people. They can probably reduce the price and the quantity by a notch, which may be useful in case you are hanging out with a group of people who necessarily don't wish to order the same food from the menu as you do. I have been to this outlet on the first week of its inception . And now after a long time I have been to this place with a friend . There is absolutely no change in their service, food and the ambience . A big salute for keeping up the quality .<br/><br/>Pros :<br/>1. Definitely the ambience . Cascade!! This is the one of the Chinese joints which serves you good Chinese dishes in Coimbatore. Little pricey but food is great. Worth it. Ordered for Veg Gold coin which was great. Yue mein noodles was nice like any other food joint. Chicken pan fried noodles is a must try here. Chicken fried wontons were nice. Only drawback was they charged ₹45 for one water bottle wherein it was mentioned ₹19 on the bottle. Literally more than double. We tried to check on it with the cashier but he just ignored it smiling away. For something on which the MRP itself is ₹19 why would anyone pay more than the MRP. This truly disappointed the entire experience of having a great meal. Cheers!!

Ambience of the hotel is really very good ! The Chinese style foods are mouth watering but has eye watering price even for the staters. Quantity is very high so I advice you to order less so you could have a meal without any leftover food. Try momos,dimsum,fang noodles and mainly fried ice cream

Cascade has been our frequent family getawyas for a couple of years. The best Chinese restaurant in Cbe next to chin chin. I love the chicken manchow ( my personal favorite). It has great starters for instance, The ever famous dragon chicken and the Kung pow's are lip smacking good. It doesn't matter if it is a chicken or prawn, it's just so good! 😻😻😻

There are very few good Chinese cuisines in Coimbatore. Cascade can be easily rated as one of the best in the town. I have been here a couple of times and really enjoyed the dinner. The ambience and the service is really good. The quality of the food provided is also good and the quantity provided was also pretty good for the price paid. If you are in Coimbatore and looking for a Chinese restaurant then you can give Cascade a shot!

A place to definitely visit! :) starting off with Manchow soup which was chow down before served, then moving onto lip smacking Cantonese dumplings and Volcano Prawns (or shrimps I am not sure sorry :|)... Meal was rounded off by Kung Pao Chicken n fried rice n Pan fried noodles (heavenly...)<br/><br/>The final show stopper- fried ice cream ( 6 piece a plate).. let's just say 5 of us ordered 3 plates of it :p <br/><br/>Had an amazing time with friends :D A great place to checkout! <br/><br/>

Pleasing interiors - but hip in no way. The food gives you nothing to complain about. They maintain a fine-dine ambience, so you might want to reconsider if you're planning a fun night out. Bring your families out here, and maybe a semi-formal dining meet. The waiters are amicable, and proportions are sizeable. Would certainly recommend this if you're out on one of those no-nonsense outings.

TL;DR<br/>Food decently Chinese, Good Ambience but the service need a slight improvement. <br/><br/>We ordered the Sweet corn and Crab meat soups and dragon chicken & Sesame baby corn for starters. For the main course we had some noodles and vegetarian gravy. All of them were more than good and would recommend this place.

A good place for lunch. The dragon chicken is out of the world. Wouldn't recommend the steamed fish or the Szechwan noodles. Still one of the best restaurants for Chinese food in Coimbatore

This is one of the best Chinese restaurant you can find in Coimbatore. The ambience was perfect for a Chinese place. The service was extraordinary. We ordered a clear mushroom soup, it was a bit blunt. Then the appetizers were very good. Then for the main course we ordered Thai fried rice. It was a bit spicy, but it went well with the sauce. At last for dessert we had fried ice cream. It was just fantastic. Who would know having ice cream which had been dipped in batter and deep fried would be that good.<br/>

This restaurant is in the main peelamedu road and is easy to find. It also has a decent parking space. If you are a Chinese food lover, this restaurant would be one best spot. I liked momos and fried ice cream the most. Service is good. Rates are reasonable. Ambiance is also good.

Cascade Resraurant was one of those unexpected discoveries that were so good that it has stayed in my mind. We were a large group of people who wanted to eat something good but also value for money. Cascade was one of the options that turned up for Chinese food. Easy to find on Avinashi Road this place has simple understated decor. We had reserved a table and hence were seated immediately when we reached. The service is good and fast. The waiters are knowledgeable about their menu and can recommend dishes depending on your taste. <br/><br/>We ordered spicy pumpkin and black mushroom soup, four color chicken dim sum, prawn tempura, chilli garlic noodles, taiwanese style noodles, lettuce and mince lamb 5 spiced rice, beef oriental pepper sauce & volcano prawns. Everyone in our group loved everything that came to our table, especially the soup and the minced lamb spiced rice. The qualities were sufficient and everything tasted great. But we were sadly too full to try their much recommended fried ice cream. I'm surely going to visit this place again when I'm in Coimbatore the next time. <br/><br/>Definitely recommend for good Chinese food.

one and only place in coimabtore with good Chinese menu. Good table service but ambience does in make the feel of Chinese restaurant . phuket fish ,gold fired prawns,daragon chicken hakka noodles are there best . Nonveg dimsum tastes good too, serving portions are good and worth for what you pay.

One among the best Chinese restaurants in Coimbatore - there are hardly better places than Cascade. The dishes are good for the palate, and are certainly easy on the pocket. The best part includes the size of the portions served - Quite large. I'd definitely recommend this place for those who crave Chinese.

Tasty and a cosy restaurant. One must never miss the crispy noodles you get here they were too good to miss. The desserts were superb. Always getting trouble to choose between them.

Food is just ok. Serving size is okay. Lacks a lot on the service front. Pathetic service. No one is bothered other than to just take orders. No. Attention what it used to be earlier.

The Cascade - a franchisee of the original Chennai Restaurant - is a welcome fine dining Cantonese Chinese addition for Coimbatore. The wrapping of whole prawn Dimsum were a little undercooked and smelt of raw flour. But, the sauces - especially their house red chilly paste is interesting. Beef in Chilly Plum Sauce was disappointing - especially because it was batter coated boiled meat. Could taste neither the chilly or plum in a very bland sauce. One had expected roast slices (better guidance would have helped). The Pan-fried noodles portion was huge and didn't leave room for trying much more. But, again the sauce had no flavour - however, subtle. At Rs 1,000 for two (without drinks - no alcohol served in any case - soup or dessert) it is good value for money though somewhat indifferent.

A very good place to have authentic Chinese food. Food is amazing here. I love the sea food from here especially the crab. Its a little bit on the expensive side but its definitely worth the price.

Competing with Peking they serve very yummy Chinese food. They have a very good Chinese menu filled with tasty delicacies. I knew about their Chennai Branch and I wanted to visit this branch and when I went there I just was very happy by the way they served us , the perfect ambience and a very well maintained hygiene just made us to love and eat the food they served. They are perfect in quality and quantity and for Chinese food lovers in town this is a must visit.

This is our family restaurant. Right from it's inception in Chennai, I have loved this place. The lamb, the prawn tempura, the rice or the noodles and even the fried ice cream. It sure is an unforgettable visit every time.

The best place to have Chinese cuisine in all of Coimbatore. Even though the theme of the restaurant should have been about being oriental for this chinese restaurant the interiors boasts a posh feel. The ambience is excellent. I ordered the "Hakka noodles" for main course alongside the "Kung Pow Chicken". I wouldn't say it was the best noodles I ever had but the chicken was one that deserved appreciation. The price is pretty nominal and quantity is enough for two. Service is one area the restaurant needs improvement. This is the apt place for corporate folk to sit down, relax and talk business. Given, the fact that they have a craving for chinese cuisine.

Excellent place for Chinese. Both the branches are good. The food is worth the money we pay. There's enough quantity and quality is good too.

Cascade is one of the restaurants you can go for multiple visits without compensating for its savour. I prefer Peelamedu branch compared to its counterpart in RS Puram. Lucidly categorised Menu card is what makes us feel easy while dining in Cascade.. Most of their starters are really worth a try, and I don't get that stomach fullness in cascade even If I go an extra mile on food. In an overall a good place to have a feast.

One of my first good Chinese food experience was with this place. <br/><br/>The ambience is good and their service is top notch. <br/><br/>All of their food items are equally good. I particularly liked their Lung Fung soup, Golden fried prawns, dragon chicken and Volcano chicken. The best Chinese restaurant in the city without doubt. Out usual order is the wontons, spring roll, Thai curry with steamed rice, the Singaporean fried noodles. Visited this restaurant with family for dinner last Sunday (Valentine's day). Clean environment, but the place got noisy as the tables got filled. They probably could have played some good music and made it a more peaceful ambience and restricted kids running around. The waiters didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu but were very polite and patient. Service was very slow but we didn't mind because we were in no hurry and wanted to have a leisurely dinner. We had a 4-course meal - ordered everything from soup, starter (momos), fried rice, noodles and Thai curry and finished with ice-cream. Everything tasted awesome, which is why I gave a rating of 3.5 despite the noisy ambience. My only feedback was the dessert named 'peach melba' which was just peaches and vanilla ice cream and not a Melba :) . My father-in-law, who is usually very picky about the taste and isn't pleased easily, truly enjoyed the food so we were happy :) Overall, I would go back for the food only when I am not in a hurry. If the management can improve the service and the ambience a little, I will definitely rate this higher.
