Review That's Y Food - Coimbatore

Bairavi
They have amazing starters, both veg and non veg starters tatsed good. Great place for dine in. Service is good.
Glutton Nomads
The white sauce pasta, popcorn chicken is a must try. All their recipes are prepared to perfection. We tried tikka biryani, personally i did not like it, as it was wet&saggy. Ambience is đŸ”„ They should really work with their hotel staffs and educate them whats hospitality, whats their signature dishes, what the key ingredient used in it, whether is it spicy or tangy etc Staff should have knowledge in either of one languages Tamil or English. #gluttonnomadsđŸ‘« #gluttonnomadsposts #italian #indian #soup #coimbatore #resaturant

The Kebabs and Pasta were excellent. Malai Kofta was not great. There was a big large next to us and it was not enjoyable as there were very loud.

Location: R S Puram Post office (around 150 mts) Parking : Should park on the road (usual) Dine-in space : can accomodate upto 30 - 40 Reservation : If you are two (direct walk-in) If it's a reunion or get together - better call and reserve the table Menu : Usual food menu Quantity : if you have good appetite - One pot plain biriyani is sufficient Roti and Naan - if you are 2 people - order one Gravy quantity - well, that's the twist😋 Cost : Main dish costs starts Rs.350 and above Soups - no much variety Washroom : Clean Cons : They take quite sometime to prepare food My suggestion : be proactive to order food

The experience gained in this restaurant is unique. Chosen varieties of dishes , an unique ingredient in each of them is its highlight. You would feel like you are in a house , not at a restaurant. Presentation of food is good. Complementary snack was a surprise element and adds value. Wait time is bit long . I tried crispy Lotus stem which was really good. Briyani is different but not so good. Utensils were really nice and gave premium feel. Service was better. Smoothies are really great in here. Parking is available nearby.

Ambience is subtle ,no grandeur decors ,it's simple ,the welcoming place has a curated frames of the owner ,and it is a franchise of "On the go" restaurant. Food is really tasty , the kebabs are to die for , main course, try spicy things ,their menu is great also don't forget to try their mud souffle

Tasty, quality and costly food! Our favourite dish was pasta - white sauce. The creamy pasta haven't lost their special touch. We couldn't even wait to take pic, when the dish arrived. Their signature dish Mud Souffle was not up to the mark, even though we were the ones to order it fresh (We went at 7.00 PM - open time for dinner) Other food items were okay. Most of the tikkas had less salt. Our new favourite was "Well to do Mushroom".

I was genuinely surprised by the food for a restaurant with a terrible name. Food tastes fresh and decent quantity. Chicken was perfectly cooked and so were the prawns. Nan felt fresh and could actually be ripped in three fingers. The rice crisps served at the beginning needs to be put away and instead serve some bread maybe.

Had a very nice lunch. Tava prawns, chicken thikka and roast mutton excellent so was the fish briyani. The kati roll let the side down. Which is why I couldn't give 5 stars for food. I would advice the chef to have the kati roll in Calcutta. I don't think a chicken sheik kebab wrapped in romali roti can be called a kati roll. Had the ferro rocher gateau with vanilla ice cream. The latter was good but the former did not taste fresh.

This is one of the best restaurants in Coimbatore undoubtedly. The service took 30-40 minutes. The food menu has been the same for for almost 10 years or at least as long as I could remember. Mud soufflé is to die for! The best in the city.

Neat & Clean. Well maintained inside. Staffs are very cooperative. Veg & Non Veg available. Food quality is good & hygienic. Expensive compared to other hotels, arrangements are good & homely look inside.

Very Good food and great ambience. Very happening and busy place. I suggest reserve your seats for a great experience. Tasty variety of food, from vegetarian to non-vegetarian. One of the must try desserts, Mud Souffle. It was a good experience and too yummy food.
Venkata Sashank
One of the better restaurants in Coimbatore. Had a four course meal. Food was good. The white devil, Aloo nazakat, paneer biryani, mud souffle, caramel custard were all good. Price on the higher side. We got lucky with street parking. Service a bit disappointing.

I was eating out in a restaurant in Coimbatore for the first time after the second wave of the pandemic. I was very skeptical, but wanted to ensure my best friend and son had a good time on her birthday. In fact she, who is based in chennai got this place as a recommendation from her friend. And I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of eating here. The food was delicious, the portions were generous and the place is so quaint and adorable. My favorite spot is the waiting area outside the restaurant where we had to wait for almost an hour for our cab! So the comfy sofas were a plus! Not to mention the patient and pleasant staff members who didn't mind both of our 6 year old boys goofing around the place! All in all I loved it here and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a decent fine dining experience in Coimbatore.

Cute place with huge varieties of vegetarian food.. but lil over priced.

✔Corn Patakha - It was like bread stuffed with few corn pieces. After reading croquet had something else in mind, but was served this so didn’t enjoy this one. 2/5.đŸŸ âœ”ïžAjwani Machi Tikka - Best fish tikka I’ve had in a while!!! Had fish after a long time, and this was the absolute best! Would definitely go again for this Fish tikka alone. Huge succulent pieces , so good! 5/5 đŸŸąâœ”ïžChicken Tikka Biryani - Loved every bit of it! Even the raita was absolutely delicious! 5/5 đŸŸąâœ”ïžHazelnut soufflĂ© - Definitely didn’t like it! I guess it was too cold so it was hard to eat. Maybe if it was warm, could’ve been better. Regret ordering this! 1/5🔮Had mixed experience . Guess the items are either 5/5 or meh. But genuinely loved their biryani and fish tikka đŸ”„It’s a bit hard to call for staffs cause the seating is like secluded and like rooms . Still worth the visit !<br/><br/><br/>🔮 - Dont recommend <br/>🟠 - 50/50<br/>🟱 - Definitely try / Good.

The price of the dish is too costly and the taste is not up to the cost there are restaurants which serve at less cost and with good taste it's better to visit Balle Balle instead of this

Absolutely a very cozy place to dine in. The ambience is very sophisticated and the staffs are very courteous with a right drive into making your dining experience worth it.<br/>I really love the food in here especially their starters and desserts. Star dishes being the prawn kali mirch and the Ferrero rocher souffle.<br/>The only point of disappointment is their biryani. It's very mushy. Also the rich aroma and taste that is expected out of a place like this just went unavailable.<br/>Leaving aside the biryani varieties everything else was just yumm. Overall an excellent experience!
Surenkrshna
Must Try: Mud souffle with ice cream! It is their speciality and a meal there is incomplete if you don't finish with this gorgeous dessert. The taste and portion sizes are good, interiors are perfect to have a relaxed meal with your clique

Don't Fall for their Half Portions<br/><br/>I went with my wife and please note my complaint isn't regarding the food. Food was great as always.<br/><br/>I had visited with my wife and placed an order for one portion Palak Paneer and rotis. We were suggested to go for the half portions as the full would be too much. We went for two half portions (Palak paneer and dal makhani).<br/><br/>When the bill came it was much more that what was mentioned. We were told the price will also not be as much as full. When we asked for the price on the Menu - we were told it's not on the Menu but it's a special option.<br/><br/>Instead of what would have costed 380 for the curry l, we ended up shelling out 560. I feel this is insane. If it's not the Menu you expect clarity on cost or a direct 50% pricing.<br/><br/>Very disappointed as we felt tricked into this.<br/>
Ankit Agarwal
A decade old restaurant is living up to its taste and ambience. Little over priced but worth the money spent. Desserts are out of the world and to die for. North Indian cuisine is the best.
Priyanka
Ordered a Nawabi Mutton biryani which was basically just a mutton gravy and yellow rice. Totally disappointed as there was it was tasteless.
Seima Bhutada
Decent place with some good food. Ambience is quite unique, with a home style set up in different sections. Pasta was good, dalmakhani met expectations. They have some good shakes too.
David Immanuel
Polite, responsive, gud ambience, orders placed on the crt time not making wait more.. yummy n neatly served. If parking is arranged will be grt n easy.<br/>Min 1000 for 2

Seriously the service is pathetic. Food was also pathetic but we expect atleast when we enter a restaurant someone should ask for a water. I called waiters 4 times but no one gave me a water and it would be good if you educate waiters the difference between starters and main course ! We had not finished the starters and he started serving main course and one I returned the main course he gave me a rude look as if I am taking money from him to eat my food. <br/>This doesn’t ends here, when i asked to bring the main course he gave the cold tandoori roti which i guess was prepared 30 minutes ago... <br/><br/>I would urge to please educate your waiters to listen up customer.. Although it is my first and last time at this restaurant..<br/>I am not going to suggest this restaurant to anyone and if you still want to try and spoil your mood. PLEASE GO AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!!!!
Pawan Bhajaj
It's an Excellent Higenic Restaurant and has a Huge Variety of Items and are freshly prepared & then Served & the Rates are Reasonable too..<br/>

Something about their food serving style and the ambience . I totally loved it . Peaceful place to go for a dinner . Food was really good I still can remember the taste of their pasta 😋That was real yum! And the chicken biriyani was reallly goood!Bit costly , yes ! But ambience ,service and food there really makes it worthy . Pretty interiors . <br/>Taste - 4/5<br/>Ambience -4/5

Came back to that's y food after a couple of years for my parents anniversary expecting a delicious meal as usual!<br/>The food turned out to be very disappointing. Kadhai paneer which was salty, dal makhani which was not so makhani, rubbery luke warm naans. When asked for hot naan, they simply microwaved the naans and brought it which made it even more stretchy. Finally after requesting the manager we got 1 naan which was actually hot and nice, which is why the extra 1 star. Otherwise the meal was a 1 star.<br/>I hope that maybe it was a one time screw up with the food this time, because in the past I've always had a scrumptious meal at TYF with fingers licked clean.
Srinidhi Sangamithra
This is a very classy place to visit.<br/>The food tasted yummy!Especially the appetisers!<br/>But it's quite expensive!<br/>Desserts especially!!<br/>The price was exorbitant for the quantity offered !

Except nonavailability of parking due to it's location not really much to complain on this one. Happy & satisfied 😊. To sum it up...<br/><br/>Ambience 4/5 - Decent, clean and well maintained.<br/>Service 4/5 - Bit slow but worth the wait<br/>Taste 4.5/5 - yummy!!<br/>Quantity 4/5 - just right<br/>Price 3.5/5 - Decent<br/>Value for money 4/5<br/>Will I go back? - YES!<br/><br/>*Parking will be a challenge.<br/>

21st nov 18, 8pm<br/>If there was a 4.5 rating..this joint would own it...one word after my visit....awesome. The ambience , the taste , the overall package...wonderful.<br/>Started off with the lemon grass chicken soup which was guarded by a ginger bread...hmmm..a good beginning<br/>Accompanying this was our murg tikka ...juicy and quite taste-filled. Even a simple preparation of peanut masala tasted awesome...ao simple yet so rich<br/>On to the main course...butter naan and murg adraki...the murg gravy was rich in flavour and with every bite i could feel the aroma filling me.<br/>I am done...Thats Y "full"😊<br/>Though a tad costly than others nearby , but as some wise man had said.."Quality comes with a cost"<br/>Another visit soon..this time with family

Came here for revisit after 13 years. Nothing had changed yet. They still good food. The quality served is good. Food tasted nice. We ordered paneer dhaiya and chicken handi, with onion fried rice boondi raita and butter naan.<br/>Staff was helpful and quick I'm service.<br/>Must ordered: White devil drink.

The ambience was good ,best place to hangout with ur loved ones and family. Staff service is terribly slow . The cost of food is definitely overpriced and they don’t give up in Taste of food . Red velvet cup cake ,blue one Mocktail , potato Dynamites and briyani everything Awesome . Wide range of deserts and especially Mud soufflĂ© no words đŸ˜¶ . Loved it ...❀
Shailendra Kumar
Ambience, service and the food that's the least and they provide you the best of all three here. Best place to hangout with ur loved ones. Amazing ambiance, good drinks and even better food whether you have indian or Continental. sometimes be careful when you ask for something spicy . They mean business, spicy means you will get spicy. Wide range of dessert helps you to overcome that.
Leslie George
The ambiance was good, they have clueless staff and the service was terribly slow, when you enter the place you can see certifications of merits, which I think is not applicable today, the food is definitely overpriced and average, we ordered a chicken tandoori platter, everything was ok in it but the chicken roll was absolutely terrible, but the chicken mushroom soup was spot on, all of us agreed that it was the best soup we had ever eaten in our lives, the variety in the menu is limited we felt like 60% of the total menu was vegetarian food, we wanted nachos but it was vegetarian so we ended up ordering pasta instead, they just had one type (penne) pasta, the pasta tasted strange and oddly sweet, it was different from the other pastas we ate, as for dessert we had ferro rocher suffl'e , the suffl'e was leaking oil (you know what I mean) , overall an ok and average experience,

Honestly was disappointed with my food experience with That's why Food. It's been couple of years had not visited this restaurant. I was excited to have good food here after a long time.<br/><br/>Firstly the service was a bit slow but later they did well. The ambience is nice but been the same over years now. No revamp made in the restaurant.<br/><br/>We ordered for fresh lime soda, Tomato Soup, Corn Pataka, Paneer Tikka, Roti, Malai Kofta, Kadai Vegetable and Ferror Rocher shake. But sadly it was all just average. Vegetable gravy was not up-to the mark. Definitely not worth the price.

Good place Good Ambience !<br/><br/><br/>Guys if your a paneer lover then do try this ! <br/><br/>Veg paneer briyani which was at it best a must try even the chicken paneer is similar taste to it so you can go with this too <br/><br/>My all time favorite smoothie is their ferrer rocher smoothie if your a lover of chocolate then do go with this . <br/><br/><br/>

I have been frequenting this venue and their race course outlet for the past decade. A restaurant renowned for their reliability and repeatability. <br/><br/>However, the restaurant is not on ZOMATO GOLD. Please try partnering with them at the earliest to increase traffic in your restaurants. <br/><br/>It would also help the people to stop complaining about the rising costs!

Hidden in the buzzing streets of RS puram, That’s Y Good is a local favourite. Small restaurant with exquisite ambience and quiet atmosphere.<br/><br/>Although the menu is bit restricted, the subtlety of the food makes up for it. Neither too flavory nor too bland.<br/>The quantity of the staters, sides and the main course was just right. To finish off, you’ve got some great desserts to choose by.<br/><br/>The service was very good. Rates are a bit pricey. Overall a great place to have Saturday night dinner.

About:<br/>⠀<br/>That’s Y Food is a minimalist restaurant serving North Indian food and specialising in the pinnacle of South India, the Biriyani. It stands in the heart of Coimbatore, RS Puram. The ambience as I said earlier is very minimalist and feels very empty thus limiting your thoughts but this is only my opinion as the minimalist environment is appreciated by many. It is also an expensive dine so prepare your wallets before you pay this restaurant a visit.<br/>⠀<br/>My Review:<br/>⠀<br/>I have been visiting this restaurant for a long time now but I’m not a regular and wanted to give a genuine review so I payed it another visit. For starters I ordered Aloo Nazakat and Panner Tikka. A White Devil to compliment. Aloo Nazakat I felt was okay and Panner Tikka was average, nothing I hadn’t tasted before, simply average. The White Devil was also very average. Time had come for main course now. I ordered Dal Makhani and Panner Makhani(every Indian in a restaurant ever) and Butter Naan to go with it. Both the gravies were very good, definitely worthy and the quantity was generous. Naan was also good but one thing to note here for vegetarians is that egg đŸ„š is used in the preparation of naan. Lastly for dessert I ordered my favourite Mud SoufflĂ© and it was great as I remembered. Our bill was around â‚č2.4k for 3 people. All in all a good occasional visit. ⠀<br/>My Rating:<br/>⠀<br/>4/5 for Everyone<br/>(This Rating is for the food and drinks)<br/>.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>Follow us on Instagram @the.rambling.fork and Zomato @TheRamblingFork<br/>#foodreviewer #foodreview #goodfood #goodlife #streetfood #streetfoodindia #indian #coimbatorian #coimbatore #rspuram #restaurantreview #restaurantreviewer #foodie #foodlover #theramblingfork #feedfeed #eatfamous #onthetable #forkyeah #foodgram #foodiegram #foodgasm #buzzfeast #foodporn #instafood #instafoodie #eattheworld #buzzfeasttasty #nomnom<br/>.⠀<br/>Review by @me_ayush_garg

Last 10 days has been very very bad luck with food. Week before it was Peking and now That's Y Food. Chefs please don't f*@k up the food guys it spoils the whole experience of an evening for us. The food looks delicious in presentation but there is no flavour at all. Chicken mushroom soup was okay, mushroom tikka kati roll was a disaster and so was the kalmi kabab and some other kebab that was flavoured with pepper which was the worst. The prices are around 450 bucks for a dish which has 6 pieces or 3 legs of chicken and tasted worst. Will never visit again.👎

Been there multiple times with family and friends. Good ambience and seating. Nice choices of Vegetarian items.. Will very likely be visiting again..

The Starters are great and It has a Different Taste while Compared to other areas. The Hotel can be Bit Large and its Hospitality make The People to say Hats Off

Even though the food is really good and have wider variety, the take away services to be improved. We can understand that weekend will be a busy time for dining in. However in this case, the management should be proactive in deactivating online ordering. All we did was, wasting time ordered online and waiting for a declined message which says “no delivery option available today”. This is not an acceptable practice in F&B industry

Service was below par, according to me.<br/>After arriving at the restaurant we weren't offered water for nearly 15 minutes.<br/>They asked what we prefer regular or mineral water, after confirming for mineral water also,we didn't get it for a long time.<br/>Complimentary papad was served, and after asking for one another time,we finally got water.<br/>The best part is,when we ask for something we don't get a proper reply.<br/>I have never experienced this type treatment in a posh restaurant like this...<br/>Food was better,Experience wasn't appreciating....<br/>

Excellent food taste was really good

I just love the biryani here and the sizzling brownie, just yum! It's normally rushy on weekends . It's quite expensive though! The service is good.

One of our favorite hangout places while in college. I can see the hype hasn't reduced but their quality has gone down a bit. Their dishes are still good but the time taken for each dish to come to table is a lot. Takes like half an hour or more for each dish to make it to table. Go here before you get hungry so you can get the food by the time you are hungry.
Harini
I went here for the Assamese thali/food fest. While it was delicious, the disappointment was over the long wait. We ordered other a la carte items. And it took one hour for them to serve!! Not to speak of the long 40 minutes for an iced tea as starters. We asked for vegan veg rice dish and it came loaded with paneer and raita. For a place that claims to be new age and prices that match,it seemed like a masquerade or perhaps ,coimbatoreans are taken for fools! Next time when see their write ups in Hindu please make sure if it's true.
Bruno Araujo Ferraz
they're very kindly besides all issues we had to find my place.
Vicky Pals
Was waiting to go there for a long time, went there finally. Bharvan Kalmi was just great, perfectly cooked with great flavor. Nizam mutton Biriyani was good, but it was a bit gravyish not dry. Butter naan was really good too. The one thing that I went for is Dal Makhani as it is a signature dish of the hotel, which was good but didn't satisfy the hype, was a bit bland, lacked seasoning i guess. Coming to desserts, Mud soufflé was just out of the world! Orange flotter was good too! Overall, a bit pricey, but a good hotel experience definitely!

bit expensive but the food is awesome.. delivered on time..

Great Ambience. Good varieties. Lil expensive but totally worth it. Services were quick since we visited on weekdays. Their smoothies were the best of all. A must visit place. :)

The only place is Coimbatore which serves authentic Punjabi food. There dal makhani is so luscious and yum. They make amazing starters , soups , omelette and non alcoholic drinks. The bakery and desert are equally good. Must visit place in case you in Coimbatore.

I used to visit this place quite often when I lived in Coimbatore. This is still one of the charming and quaint restaurant in the city. The food is quite good and the ambience is unique.

This one has a unique menu. Good amount of options to choose from. Nachos tasted exceptionally good. Otherwise the food tasted decent. I somehow set my expectations very high above the threshold. So I was a bit let down <br/><br/>Ambience - way too attractive 5/5<br/>Food - 3. 5/5<br/>Will I come back - yes! I will definitely consider coming back. The menu is long yu see ;)

Had dined here twice. My first dining experience was great. Food taste, ambience, hospitality everything was good. I was not really satisfied with the second visit since I wanted to try something new and hence ordered one from the appetizers and it wasn't available and I changed my order which again was not available. Lastly they gave a suggestion to try corn croquette and I had to force myself into eating it because the ketchup they gave me had a very sour taste and the croquettes were really not that great.
Manojsiddarth13
I have been there before, but have to say their quality have decreased now. They have increased their prices as well.Feels it isn’t worth their price any more.

Had been here for lunch.Food is really good . Ambience is the greatest part of it.Overall a good experience.

Both veg n Non veg dishes were not upto the mark.<br/>- Our taste buds were totally spoiled when we tasted a dish made of cauliflower.<br/>- Ordered 3 caramel custards and out of which only 1 is good. Quality n standard differs in each quantity.<br/>- Ambience is OK.. Not so good. There is no difference than our home dining table.<br/>- No mouth freshener / mint / jeera given at the end.

One of the oldest and the best place to have Indian food would be this restaurant !! The food is very good and delicious. The starters and the main course is well cooked and well presented ! The ambiance of the place is well kept and done. The frames and the flowers give you a nice feeling. The staff is good and well-mannered. The deserts are amazing. <br/>Over the years, the place is only becoming more and more costlier and I dont understand for what reason. There are many other options available today in the city which are good to go to, too. So I really think they should work on their pricing. Otherwise, it's a perfect place for lunch or dinner !
Jaya Vishnu Kumar
For its best quality, fine ambiance and above average decent taste. The quality is phenomenal. I have tried all of their items "Well to do mushrooms"( was avilable earlier, don't know whether they have this now), Paneer tikka, Afghani Kabab, Murgh Mirchi Tikka, Fish Tikka etc., Their Biriyani is good, many varieties Chicken Tikka Biriyani, Paneer Tikka Biriyani, Chicken/Mutton Biriyani with boneless and many options. Quantity is sufficient for 2 people!! Naan and Rotis and the quality of gravies are too good. Ferrero Rocher cake is nice. You can very well order your birthday cakes as well. Mud souffle was not so good for me. So if you want to spend a time with your friends and family you can very well visit this place!!

Was tired of searching for some good food for a couple of days being new to the city. Finally reached up That's Y Food. Handled by Hindi people which was different from only Tamilians all around. Since I didn't know Tamil it was difficult in explaining the waiters how you want you food. But there was no such problem here because they speak Hindi. Ordered for butter nan and murgh tikka masala. Been hunting for spicy food everywhere ultimately found only this which gives you nice spicy food. Also took paneer tikka masala which was amazing too. Might me a little pricey but trust me it'll be worth it. Sure to come back here. Cheers!!

Briyani is terrible!!!. No flavor, Jeera rice mixed with some badly messed up curry. After spending 3000 rupees, had a stuffy stomach and have to skip dinner. Never Again!!!

It's a wonderful resto with a very nice ambience. It also has bunch of outdoor seating available. The food tastes delicious. Customer service is great. The main course serving is actually plenty so if you are just two, it may be even difficult to complete the food on the table. I feel the ONLY negative with this place is the space for parking. During weekends, its a nightmare to find a parking slot. If the resto finds some parking space it'll be really helpful for its customers. Overall, a fine dine!

One of the earliest North Indian restaurants to open up in Coimbatore , this place has continued to remain a crowd favourite for over a decade now . Known for its paneer tikka and briyanis - served in really good quantity ( keeping large family crowds that come , in mind ) , it's really nice that they continue to retain their quality . Ofcourse , the thats y mud scouffle on the menu is only second to annapoorna sambhar on the cbe food legend ! A must try if you're in cbe and got time for a meal out !

Excellent Quality of Food.....I love this place.....really great ambiance and the service is also awesome.<br/>This restaurant is one of the best choices in Coimbatore

The restaurants ambience is simple yet classy with an orange and white theme. The main entrance has a nice display of pictures and i assume a gallery which looks quite impressive. <br/><br/>There are separate cabin like rooms which you can book if you need privacy. The restaurant has a good combination of vegetarian and non vegetarian food. For starters we ordered vegetable soup which was really wholesome and delicious. For the main course we ordered naan roti and a vegetable side dish which was decent but not all that great. The time taken to serve could be quick.<br/><br/>The service staff was hospitable yet need some training on communicating more clearly. The food is on the pricier side. Overall a good restaurant to try<br/><br/>

I love the food here once. But then the quality slowly started deteriorating. This was my favourite place when I was in school. I still remember they had this stuff aloo starters, and this was the dish in which I actually liked panner. <br/>It became overly expensive over the time and opened only when they wish to. <br/>Request you guys to please bring back the old that's y food. With your awesome Biryani's, fruit beers and pasta.<br/>

Excellent ambience. The meal by itself is the best and almost serves 2 people. The nizam mutton biryani is best among the biryani served in coimbatore@

Very very bad. Never go there. Have done reservations for table for 6 at 2.00pm and even then they made us wait for 30 mins and then also service was very bad. Never ever go there. I wud give negative marking for this restaurant.

All time hangout place with parents and family. A wide range of cuisine, yet they take a hell lot of time to serve food after you order. The ambiance is awesome and the price might feel a little high. They used to serve mud souffle which tasted exotic, but I regret that they don't serve that anymore over there.

Came to Coimbatore for holidays and searched for good North Indian food đŸ„˜ in zomato and finally short listed this restaurant and it turn out to be amazing place.<br/><br/>Ordered veg sheek kebab, panner tikka katti roll.sheek kebab was bit spicy but tasted nice but Katti roll was really good and mouth watering.<br/><br/>In main course we ordered malai kofta, dal fry and lucknowi tawa paneer, malai kofta was bit sweet didn't liked much, paneer was nice, thick gravy with big chunks of onions and 🍅 dal was ok.<br/><br/>Veg nizami biryani was ultimate, basmati rice was mixed with veg mid spicy gravy, taste was superb.<br/><br/>Overall experience was excellent and I recommend everyone to visit this place for great North Indian food.<br/><br/>My ratings are<br/><br/>Ambience 5/5<br/>Food 4/5<br/>Service 4/5

I had picked this place a week ago and just got time today to be in. As my friend doesn't like the Italian, we tried ordering Rotis and Gravies.<br/><br/>The place has an amazing interior and seating. The prices are pretty decent for a fine dining resto cafe. I saw pizzas on their online menu and that was missing from the one that I found at the table.<br/><br/>Tue staffs are polite, however they are not much informed on the items in the menu. Romalis were soft, parathas were a little hard to handle.<br/>Paneer had the dominating taste of capsicum, neverthless paneer was super soft and we both loved it.<br/><br/>We skipped the desserts as we were running short of time. Will have to visit again for them. Parking is a big problemo on peak hours. The wash area did not have water and we had to ask for a finger bowl, no brownie points there. The staffs go missing often, takes 10 minutes to find them and ask for something.<br/><br/>Overall not really the fine experience. Opps, kudos for the charge on the water bottle. May be it's not the right day, I would love to visit again.

Have been a regular customer since its opening. Unlike other places, each experience is better than the last one. Undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Coimbatore city.<br/><br/>Ambiance - Simple yet elegant<br/><br/>Service - Very professional<br/><br/>Food quality - Excellent<br/><br/>Quantity - Sufficient<br/><br/>Pricing - Apt to the experience<br/><br/>A place to visit with friends & family.<br/><br/>A definite recommendation to anyone new to the city.

It has a good ambience and pretty good staff for service. The mud souffle is so yum and penne pasta is good. Tomato bruschetta is average. Not good for North Indian foods.
Divya Karimikonda
Not worth the money we pay!!The biryani we ordered has a wierd sweetness and i left it after eating two spoonfulls.Ambience was good though. Not so suitable for people who like spicy food.

A remodeled house, it is a unique experience as the seating arrangements takes you to different parts of the original house. There is a wonderful class maintained with nice bright decor. <br/>And yes, most importantly, good food. Worth the trip.

The ambience was great we had a room to ourselves since we booked a table ahead of time. <br/><br/>The food was great all the vegetarian starters were nicely cooked and the display was nice. For main course we had pastas the penne with tomato and cheese sauce was delicious and the size of one portion was satisfying.<br/><br/>For dessert we had the mud souffle and Sizzling chocolate brownie which was very well made especially the sizzle had a mouth watering presentation.<br/><br/>good worth for the money spent

This has to be the best place I've eaten in Coimbatore. When my friends and I where starving at 10:30 in the night, they kept their doors open just for us :'). The waiter was very friendly and made really good suggestions for the dishes and the portions it would serve. The starters were juicy and delicious, we had the Malai tikka and paneer tikka. Over all the meal was very satisfying and the ambience was very soothing.

The ambience was better that expected and the list of items was really exquisite along with the details of the items. The quality and flavour of food was good but, be prepared to cool your heels as your plate gets dried before the next item is served. I would recommend this restaurant to people who have deep pockets, as the pricing is on the higher side. The after effects of the food is bad for your stomach. Murg children tikka was semi cooked.

Not worth for money. We went for dinner (team of 11). None of them liked the dishes. Poor all the Non veg lovers had switched to veg. Even the NV starters was horrible.  Main course was also bad.  <br/><br/>Much awaited team lunch just got spoiled. I would not recommend to any one.

The ambiance is good. It seems that this place was a house earlier and then converted into a restaurant.  It has multi room setup. We had soup, chicken tikka and biryani. The food is tasty.<br/><br/>The service is decent and the staff are friendly. The price is also affordable. Overall it will be a good experience for you with some tasty food.

That is Y , is an  average north Indian cuisine, yes for Coimbatore it is above average. I would say this is one among the best restaurants in Kovai which offers north Indian food. <br/><br/>When it is Punjabi food, it is tandoori and tikka which I would recommend and eat. so THAT IS Y I recommend chicken tickka and Chicken Tandoori .<br/><br/>ambiance is typical closed  . not like a contemporary restaurant where the lights are on . you can feel the breeze or air condition .  it is not so attractive but they made it beautiful with the existing .<br/><br/>service : perfectly timed and well balanced <br/><br/>cost : little extra  you have to spend , Rs 2000 enough for three person . <br/><br/>but this is a must try in Coimbatore ,

Went after long time, food was worse. Didn't expect, as it used to be great. Should consider renovating the interiors as well, totally disappointed

Good ambience, Pretty decent food, quick service and on the other side, this is one of the costliest dine in restaurants in coimbatore. But still the rush remains the same. Very famous for their desserts and multi cuisined starters! good one and you should try this place if you dont mind the price !
