Loved it. Good atmosphere and great service. Lot of varieties to choose. should go in group to taste more items. All dishes cost around 450 and worth it. Must visit.

Visited first time. When we enter inside, the smell was too bad. And the ambience is not lit. The food was very good but the price was higher end. Tried caramel custard and nungu payasam.

Had lunch at Bird on Tree after a few recommendations in Coimbatore. It's cozyly nestled amongst trees and foliage with birds tweeting all the time. Labelled "Fine Dining", it's nothing close to it. Was gobsmacked by the food but the pricing was big-ticket. The staff were attentive patient and courteous. A gratifying place to spend time with family and friends.

One of my favourite restaurants in Coimbatore. Chettinad, Chinese, continental , North Indian... which ever you choose, that will be the best. Lamb pepper fry must try and it's unique. Basmati rice briyani, fish and chips, chilli basil fish/chicken/prawns, coriander chicken, Singapore chicken/fish, Kara kozhi varuval and many more. In simple words - worth trying which is different from others. Carrot halwa with ice cream is the best.

One of the best restaurants in Coimbatore.. The food was really lip smacking . The starters was really awesome. Chicken and lamb is really soft and juicy. Everything is really appreciable.

Good Service and Quantity Went on for an official party. The food is good and the quantity is also more matching to the price. Budget of each variety is exceeding Rs.200/-. Service is also good. For Couples/ Family outside seating is also available. On that day we had an offer of 50% for 4 Pax. More varieties of Non veg. We have to ask how the taste will be before ordering, since many names are not recognizable. Overall its good for Office parties or Families to spend more for a special occasion with fulfillment.

Service was a bit late. Atmosphere is ok ok. But the food is finger licking. As I am a bengali so there is a little extra space for fish in my heart and tummy both. I order baked fish with lemon butter sauce. And it was awesome. 😊😊

It's a great place for an evening outing, but parking can be a challenge. It's recommended to make a reservation in advance. Prices are a bit on the higher side, and while the food is decent, it may not live up to the mouthwatering expectations. Nevertheless, the cozy and dim ambiance creates a warm atmosphere.

Awesome restaurant. Service was really great. We had order a mutton soup and chicken chukka as starters followed by main couse as Veg kolapuri, chicken curry, kasmiri paratha, naan and malabar paratha. Every dish were spot on right from soup to chicken curry. Service was also really good. The day we went was little packed for them, still they managed really well.

The food was extremely good. Enjoyed every ounce of it. This restaurant is not suggested if you are looking for a budget friendly restaurant. Overall: 8/10

Had lunch at Bird on tree. Ambiance was awesome especially when u sit upstairs. Customer service was superb. If you are spicy food lover Fish N Fire is must try for you. Overall except paneer tikka all the foods we’ve ordered was good. Paneer tikka and Brownie with ice cream could have been better. Caramel Custard 😋

Would highly recommend their continental food and kebabs. The butter chicken here is rather distinct and personally, I loved it. A great fine dining option.

Its nice place to spend time for food in bird tree but for noisy gang its not the place to hang out.! we have been said to maintain silence and less sound inside hotel by an waiter when we are actually speaking . for a gang that makes some noise its not the rite place to hang out for . food was nice but those moments made us to think we were in a wrong place . better keep silent and eat. dont speak, may be you should never open your mouth I think . thats the rules of bird tree isn't it ..? Good food but Poor service, they think customers come there for free food. The staff and the manger are the worst. I stopped going there because of bad service. The joke is their 50% offer, they will give only half the quantity.

Entered to a warm, green ambiance with the sounds of birds in the background. The food options were quite extensive, we were surprised they didn't cost a bomb and tasted really good. Overall, a wonderful experience with tasty food

Bird on a tree is one of Coimbatore's finest restaurants, with a lot to offer to satisfy all your cravings. Specialising in South & North Indian food, along with some continental and Chinese, Bird on tree surely has something for all. With ample indoor and outdoor seating, it's a great stop for a meal with your family or some quality time with your friends. The food portions here are also very satisfying and service is on point. Must tries from my end are their range of tikkas and kebabs to kick start your meal, edging into some Augratin and rice for your main course, with a closing of their classic Mud Pie. Cost for two is INR 1500/-.

Located amidst many posh residences bird on trees is one of the most amazing restaurants in the vicinity. If you're tired of visiting the marriotts and the radisson's you can definitely give this place a visit as the chef cooks absolutely delicious food. There is ample parking space and indoor outdoor seating area as well. Apart from on the road this is one of the best restaurants around.

Outdoor ambience was very nice.. we thought the food will also be food.. but it was very bad.. chicken was not fresh.. biriyani was like tomato rice. Not at all worth for price. Waste of money. Would be very good if they can improve on food quality.

A perfectly well balanced menu for all cuisines, decent options for vegetarians, I hear that the fish was also very good. Great ambience especially when you are seated out door. The soups were very rich in taste - don't miss them. Last not to be missed out was the service. Great one! All these come at a cost yeah it's a fine dine. A must visit place.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time. Good things first. They have great food. Not the best in town but definitely one of them in terms of menu, taste, parking and Ambience. But the captains in this restaurant behave like Bank staff. I did not believe when I read similar reviews here but when I experienced it twice, I knew it for myself. They are extremely conscious of the timings that they ruin your dining experience. First time I went there the time was 9.45pm when the timings were 7-11pm. I asked them to reserve a table and they were very unwelcoming. We skipped to go then and came back again for a friend's birthday for lunch at 2.00pm. At 2.15 they come to our table and ask us to finish our final order because Kitchen is closing. We were just getting started. We placed the order quick and they did not even come back for dessert. Just the bill. Had they told us that they can't host we would have opted another restaurant that is happy to serve customers. So if you can plan a visit exactly at the time convenient to them, you ll have a nice time and good food.

Requires lots of improvement as they can change the way they deal with customers especially on special occasions.

We tried the BOT for the second time and the food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. The waiters were attentive and the service in overall was good. The restaurant looked to have been recently decorated. In overall a good meal and great value for money, we will certainly be going back.

Both are excellent and flavourful non-veg starters. The spring rolls were crispy but it didn't stand out in terms of taste.<br/><br/>Kebabs: Afghan kebab is a winner.<br/><br/>Main course: Chinese wise, The schezwan noodles is a decent choice. Continental wise, Chicken Shashlik is a great choice. I would advise you NOT to get the American Chopsuey. Though the pan fried noodles is crispy, the sauce is very very tangy and sweet - ruining the taste.<br/><br/>The quantity is decent but dining is slightly expensive. Fine dine for a cozy lunch with friends. The ambience was perfect. American corn cheese balls was as crispy as that with a melting cheese in your mouth. If you are a person who loves cheese this is a perfect starter. Achari paneer tikka with a perfect touch of Indian flavours tasted the best. The Thai rice noodles was the show stopper and a must try. We expected it to be a soupy noodles but it was dry and must say it is one of the best tasting noodles ever. There is a feel of satisfaction in every bite of it. Overall this place is perfect for a fine dine.

Quality of food has gone down over the years. Chopsuey was full of Maggi sauce. No rich vegetables used for the overwhelming price they charge. Just carrot, beans and capsicum. No broccoli or mushroom or corn. Poor service and bad management. Soup was so watery and spicy. Extremely disappointed. Poor customer service

Veg sizzler and aluu parota.everything was useless and when we gave feedback the supervisor don't even have courtesy to hear from us and provide a better one.in fact the veg sizzler didn't even Smell good and I straight away returned it without even touching it and ironically the supervisor just took it away and still charged me full.a restaurant which charges 500 bucks for a szizler and yet have a n arrogant supervisor , you can imagine the restaurants worth.I can only say I would never go again or suggest anyone.

The suppliers here are mannerless each n every time ... !! They literally asked us to get out bcz the time is 3 and the kitchen is closed. I have never come across such mannerless attendant in my life . He was so rude .<br/><br/>He didn't even ask me to wait for the table and simply said no to me and giving tables to others . What kind of behavior is this ?? we dinned on the ground floor where the ambience was OK, nothing too eye catching, the starters was really good, the crispy mutton in mint and chilly thing was what we enjoyed most, the entree was a disappointment, the spaghetti was cooked perfectly, but had too much oil, the noodles were overcooked and mushy, the sizzler chicken thing was a mess, we ordered a cocktail called Cinderella and got a milkshake, that was a disappointing, we all agreed that the chicken soup was simply delicious. Do I recommend this place - yes, but the drinks are a hands down no....

Good ambience. We had ordered 2 starters and 2 main course & a desert. Starters - Srilankan Devil chicken & prawn in chilli basil sauce, main course - Grilled chicken breast & American chopsuey and desert - mud pie with ice cream. <br/>Both starters were good and grilled chicken breast was good American chopsuey was pathetic not cooked properly and informed the Captain and he informed us the dish is made like this only. Even the mudpei was just ok. Overall not that good experience since chopsuey was last dish and worst chopsuey I had. <br/>

Superb Ambience and great food..and a perfect place for a Sunday lunch ..Ordered chicken manchow soup, thandoori chicken , haka fish and mutton briyani..hala fish is a must try.thandoori chicken was good.but felt it was little burnt.Mutton briyani tasted ok..but mutton was cooked properly. U could have a relaxing time talking with ur frnds and munching your food.and as the name suggests the birds on the tree and their noises we're pretty much relaxing.

Poor service. Very limited high chair for babies. Air conditioner not working. Rude staff. Salty biriyani. Waiting time for food was about 20 mins between starters and main course. None of the mutton and fish dish was available atleast today. Lengthy menu with limited availability of food. Good thing is very nice location and soup and starter was good. Not that worthy.

Visited with my family yesterday ambience was excellent with a private room.Service was bit slow and can be improved. Waiters require some training especially in seamlessly providing food and removing used plates and dishes there seemed some confusion on what was to be done next.Food was excellent recommend vegetable dal makni. average food but too costly even during happy hours... too much hype ...after going 2 times and failing to get a seat, the third time we reserved well in advance. We, a group of 5 ordered almost everything on the menu. The starters tasted the same and nothing special,briyani,fried rice were not up to the mark. We received a bill of 6500 after discount was 3250 ..Definitely not worth the hype

Ambiance was different & we waited for 20 minutes as it was rush & u have the offer of 50% on week days till 3:00 pm .. the taste was good ... but after we ordered we came back after 3 hours THE SERVICE WAS TOOOO LATE .. the dish served was digested then the next one got served .. came up as the best restaurant in the Top 10 search for Coimbatore and I must say I am disappointed. There is no real.ambienece to speak of apart from some birds nailed to the wall on a perch. The menu options are decent as they cover Asian, Continental and Indian cuisine. The service is pretty slow and the food is very. mediocre. We ordered a mix of everything ranging from Sri Lankan Devil Mushroom, Chilli Basil Fish and in the main course we went with a Mixed Sizzler, Thai Green Curry and Prawn Masala with an Olive Chilli naan. The mocktails are not at all good and the panna cota did not save the night.

We went a bit late to this place. Yeah 3pm here is pretty late. And the entire place was buzzing with people even on a week day. <br/>We ordered Mongolian chicken as starters, American Chopsey and a Chicken sizzler.<br/>We loved the Mongolian chicken but the American Chopsey was not upto the taste that we expected there. The chicken sizzler as many people have told before was really awesome. These three dishes were more than enough to fill the tummies of two well eating people. The bill was 1205 rupees. We loved the ambience. Though we didn't have a open dining, we lived the indoor dinning. Ambience scores here. We opted for ourdoor seating and it was instantly refreshing with semi dark and birds chirping... Dragon chicken was nice and I liked the blueberry infused pannacotta ...

The worst restaurant I had been to... Both the attitude and taste is the worst I have encountered... If u are new to kovai and wish to seek some respect, better avoid this stupid restaurant.

Nice ambience. A good place for fine dining. Birds chirping in the background. Had the crispy glazed chicken with orange sauce. Nice. Lot of continental and other options were there.

Visited this place for lunch after we came to know of the whopping 50% discount for dine in with 4+ adults. Parking wasn't a trouble and we quickly found a cozy place to sit. We ordered a variety of food. Hou & Sour Soup, Anarkali paneer tikka, Veg sizzler, Crispy vegetables in coriander chilli, Paneer tikka biriyani, bread (kulcha, naan, roti, etc), Kadai mushroom and Thai green curry with rice. Food was good overall. Biggest let down was the Hot & Sour soup. No sane person would be able to finish it. Was damn spicy and hot. Definitely the worst I've ever had. Yes Mr. Bearer, I know Hot and sour soup is spicy but this is mindless. The thai green curry - my kid liked it but again, I've had better ones elsewhere. Rest of the food was very good though every dish was on the spicier side. So take note of any customisation to it. Bit of a disappointment was on the desserts front. Not too many options and we went for the mudpie and was brilliant. Overall, nice place, great value for money (with the 50% discount) and good service.

Great place. Please don't mind the cost if you wanna try them. Steaks are good, mentioning this as rarely anyone in Coimbatore serves steak. Overall good place to be. Good ambience. Service is slow, you need to be patient for the good food.

We went for dinner and found everything good - the ambience, food, service, and cost. Being a vegetarian, I tried the cottage cheese (paneer) fingers, which were awesome. I had Amritsar kulcha and Kadai paneer. My brothers ordered non veg and they loved it too.

The food was awesome. The best thing I liked here is the ambience. It's so nice to eat in silent environment and dim light. The staff behavior was also good. Over a nice place to hang out.

Beautiful place with great Ambience... The Restaurant has both outdoor dining and indoor.. The dishes were exceptionally good.. Especially the Man Chow Soup and Stir fried Garlic Lamb with Broccoli both the Non Vegetarian and Vegetarian dishes were equally good.. the Service was a little late but they were very kind.

Iv been to this place a million times, but this time I visited was a disappointment!! The paneer was little dry, the curries were not upto the expectation.<br/>Only thing good was the mud pie! Probably because of the crowds or what I don’t know, but please don’t go down in your quality!! This is one of my favourite places in coimbatore!

I have already been here twice,but that was a couple of years back when it was newly opened. The menu offers a lot of options for everyone. We ordered crispy vegetables in peanut butter sauce, lovely flavours not the usual stuff we always eat at Asian restaurants and what I loved best was the crunch element in the extra peanuts added! For the main course we opted for the Red Thai curry which was served with steamed rice. Although the taste was good and all the flavours of a true Thai were present in the dish it was very disappointing to notice that the coconut milk had split!!! A restaurant should not make this mistake.<br/>For the dessert we tried the Pannacota I would have given it better ratings had an overdose of the blueberry syrup not been there.<br/>A few things I would like the restaurant management to take note of are:<br/>1. When using non local vegetables like lotus stem (a lot of it) it's better if you mention it on your menu as a dish's description. This is also true for desserts as we ordered panacotta however it had an over dose of blueberry which was nowhere mentioned on the menu.<br/>2. Mistakes like split coconut milk is not acceptable from a good restaurant.

Yum: Basa fish in sri lankan style saucy gravy. Decent fish and chips. Just that it is not in one huge piece though. <br/>I'd root for their fish varieties in all styles. One of my favorites in Cbe easily.<br/><br/>Ermmm: Expensive otherwise.<br/><br/>Special: Brocolli cup cakes was a surprise for me. Thanks to my vegetarian wife. Cheesy to the right level. Decent brownie with ice cream here. They have a lunch offer when you come in a group of more than four during the weekdays to pull crowds. I hope they don't remove this offer forever and equally never increase the price here after :D.

Great food..Sri Lankan Devil Chicken is really spicy but high on taste..ordered Schezuan Chili Fish and Chicken Rara..their spice indications on the menu are accurate and not toned down for foreigners..taste overall is good..ambience is nice..outside seating looks good but dangerous for people with kids as the railing is low..service could do with some improvement in attentiveness..overall a good experience

Cozy place located away from the main road. Had the Asian dishes here and they were quite delicious. Service was also very good and dishes came out very fast.

Nice Asian food, the roof top ambience is a plus point and what an amazing location in such an unexpected nook in redfields! For us, it's been just 100 steps away. The must try foods are the lemon butter sauce on grilled fish, the crispy lamb garlic sauce gravy and Mongolian style chicken egg rice!
