One perfect spot for veg lovers. Hygienic and homely food at a decent price. The taste is spotless. Makes you feel at home with an authentic taste of their own. Ghee roast is an all-time favorite of mine. Must try the restaurant. It's a hidden gem in town.

food is really good with complementing good superb service. no doubt, this is a crowd puller hotel. initially surprised to find a variety of food which are not normally available even in bigger hotels. I could sense a satisfactory mind of more number of persons. and rates are moderate too. my only point of asking is the non availability of tea,as I am a tea lover. worth visiting to enjoy food and good & timely service. thanks.

Only Vegans, must visit veg lovers.

Very simple, quiet and 100% value for food. Looks traditional and their trump card is traditional Tamilnadu food which is not only healthy, tasty and value for money. Their service is exceptional and hope they stay like this forever. Parking is right on the road. Highly recommended.

An old school breakfast place, with authentic south indian breakfast options. They have a good variety of morning dishes at an extremely affordable price. Their Dosas range around rupees 50 ( depending on the type) and the coffee is good too. Their service is prompt and extremely friendly. Definitely a must try for a the people around att colony

Best tiffin center to have food in and around Siddhapudhur. The service was excellent, the food tasted good. The seating arrangements were good. You can enjoy a variety of tiffin items with nominal pricing. The hand wash area is maintained greatly.

Today we had some Dosas, chappathi, chole puri etc. The taste is not the same as before lockdown but it's good. If they improve the taste of the chutneys, it will be the best family restaurant. The variety Dosas are the most recommended.

This is a quaint and simple eating spot. Seems from a different era. The service was very nice and the person kept recommending us stuff without being pushy. All the food we had was very tasty.. Prices are extremely reasonable. Parking for a 4 wheeler is a little difficult to get.. no such issues for 2 wheelers

Had been here for the 2 time. Once for Breakfast and another for Dinner. Enough no.of seating. Can accommodate at least 100-120 guests at a time. Poori Masala was the best in breakfast...it had the same softness and taste as at home. No maida mixed. Puttu-kadalakari-Tenga Paal (coconut milk) was a surprise and tasted awesome. I've never seen such a thick tenga Paal anywhere else. The best part - they serve 2 types of Chutneys and Sambar. For dinner, we tried Set Dosai Vada curry and Adai-avial. These two again didn't go low with expectations. They were really good. Kurma served with Chapati was different from what other hotels serve and was tasty too. For dinner they place 4 chutneys and a enough sambar on your table. Rose Milk - a big disappointment, as it had too much of Rose essence. Very good hospitality. Things to note: No Credit Card/Debit Card facility. UPI payments available Open car and Bike parking. Car parking would be a bit challenging. It has a Mess kind of an environment, so don't expect much of ambience.

Krishna Tiffin Room in Coimbatore is a charming eatery that serves up a wide variety of homestyle delights. The food is scrumptious, offering a delectable journey through a plethora of flavors. One can treat themselves to an array of dishes without worrying about their budget - truly pocket-friendly. Bikers will appreciate the easy two-wheeler parking. However, a minor hiccup is the slightly challenging car parking. Despite that, the delicious offerings and budget-friendly pricing make Krishna Tiffin Room a must-visit spot for a slice of our local culinary scene.

This is a pocket friendly veg hotel.
Tomato sevai~ Can feel the complete home taste but when mixed with coconut chutney i felt a sour taste.
Chola poori~ it was little bit oily but i liked it especially the chenna, too good.
Set dosa vada curry~ The vada in the gravy was undercooked.
Chilly mushroom~ This was somthing raw,not nice.
Totally an average homely food hotel.

Visited with my family today decent place ,hygienic variety of vegetarian dishes .Tasted like home cooked food but ambience is not much and cannot be expected at this price point. I will recommend this place due to food taste try tomato sevvai ,uttappam, kolkatti
This place is too good if your budget is very low, the place opens only for dinner and gets crowded by 8 pm and it would be hard to find a seat during weekends. Everything they serve is hot and quick. Go for it if you wanna spend less on good food.
Rahul Ravindran
Terrible service for take away. Ordered for Jus one lemon sevai and it took almost 30 mins. And the people don't even call out. We got to go the counter and check periodically. :(

Love their kozhukattais and adais. Not a big fan of their pooris coz its too oily for my taste. Very economical - ambience is clean but not fine dining. Will be back again.
Nandhini Elango
I love their Rava dosa. They serve the Best Rava dosa in town ! Love the chutneys (4 varieties)
Pocket friendly and not to heavy on the stomach.
Yum:
To cut the list short, 1. kolakattais (sweet and salty) 2. idiyappam (so thin like never anywhere else) & kadala curry + tomato soup like item + thenga pal ( coconut milk) 3.ย veg omlette (the closest approximation to omlette, btw this is basically an adai)

Ermmm:
Sadly, only a fraction of CBE-ians might have heard of this place as a go-to for veg spots.
chola poori and dosa items are lightly oily. you will have to let them know if you need less oil.ย

Poori is decent but sometimes very oily. But never a deal breaker to put off this gem of a restaurant.

The soya roast is not for the faint hearted. Way too spicy, more than any regular non veg dish.

Kolakattais (salt as well as sweet) can have little to complaint about the quality but the quantity in each dish has halved over the past year from 4 to 2 with partially corresponding price reduction as well.

Special:ย Warm Service. Hot plates. Equally hot vadas. Surprising not oily and having that moru moru texture. And how can I miss the idiyappam thatโ€™s so thin and amazing!!! No compromise in quality with any franchises. The real vegetarian deal in Coimbatore. Beats the two bigwigs handsdown.

A great vegetation place and does not burn your pocket much. There are aint much ambience but clean and tidy. The waiting time is so minimal for the parcel service.thier food is almost Better then most food joints

When you want to eat a decent pure vegetarian food at an affordable cost you can always prefer this place which functions only during evening and is located exactly opposite to "Jaganaadha Perumal Temple". It serves all vegetarian varieties like Pongal,Poori,Roast,Kolukattai,Sevai etc., I would say the items all the items are decent. It is an in and out Tiffin room also offering hot drinks like Milagu paal apart from Coffee,Tea etc., You can fill your stomach and also tastify your tastebuds without emptying your pocket, the only drawback is the place is crowded and at times you need to wait for a seat. Also not recommended for people who wants to have a fine dining experience, it is for people who prefer having fine food with friends and family irrespective of the ambiance, atmosphere etc.,

We happened to go to this place for dinner. Ambiance is moderate but this place is known for many years for its good taste. Paniyaaram and kaara kozgukattai is a must try here. Quick service and reasonable price. Very good taste.

One of the best place to have vadas puttu n pesaratu in Coimbatore., they serve with 3 or 4 different chutneys .. Good food , decent ambience , service is good. Pocket friendly .

A long pending post but this place has to be the best vegetarian tiffin centres in Coimbatore without a doubt. Numerous varieties of vegetarian food at really cheap price. Great taste, great quality & extremely affordable. Despite being a cramped place, the place is very neat & clean. Recommended for all.

Good service. Harmless to your tummy as well to your pocket. Taste & quality remains the same every single time I eat there.
Must try the authentic south Indian food. Not a big fan of the Chinese food served there.
Siddarth Sriram
Homely food that is light both on your stomach and wallet. Can get crowded for dinner, but doesn't take too long to find a table. Recommend it for dosa, idiyappam, paniyaram lovers..
Gokul Krishna
A popular tiffin house n this area, most of the time crowded with people and you have to wait to get your seats. They serve authentic pure veg dishes, prepared in a hygienic way. My favorites here are tomato sevai, kolu kattai, paniaram and rose milk.. They have many varieties of dosas as well.. A good place to have homely food at a reasonable cost..
Divya Ravi
Located opposite of perumal temple..... Generally crowded atmosphere..... They retain most of their old customers.....
They serve very good authentic south indian menus..... I had breakfast there..... I like their sambhar a lot.....
Also puri and vadai tastes good.....
Try tis place if u crave for good south indian foods.

Another quality place to have a tummy filling vegan experience at a shoestring budget. The place is situated in a quiet locality so parking isn't a problem. Crowded almost everyday so one has to wait to get a table. Normal mess like ambience. Service is lightning quick. Coming to the menu, manages to offer every ordinary veg dish we eat. But the point is to avoid the ones we usually make at home, say a set of idli, dosa, poori. Instead try the unusual ones. That may include Sweet/kaara kolukattai, kolaputtu, pesarat or even idiyappam, all of which were delicious in their own right. Also do give set dosa with vadacurry a try. The hotel is extremely wallet friendly and amounts to just around 100 per person for a filling dinner. Cold badam milk was pure bliss!

Ambience -3.5/5
Taste - 4.75/5
VFM - 5/5

The restaurant is some 8+ years old. I used to hear about the dining place from my friends and finally located the spot to dine out.
So far i have tasted
1) Soya roast(Dosa)
2) Plain Roast(Dosa)
3) mini Chola Batura (cholapoori)
4) Jaggery kola puttu (vellam)
5) Idly
6) Idiyappam
7) Vada
8) Chilli mushroom
9) Pepper milk
10) Pearl millet porridge (kamban cool)

Some varieties of roast are there in the menu. Will try out in coming days.
All the above mentioned items are awesomatic of aromalae. :D
Vada was Crispy and it is difficult to find one for dinner in this city.
Roast is golden colour and just wow. With four types of chutney.
The best part here is Jaggery Kola puttu - healthy tasty and perfect when combined with vada red chutney and tomato mash curry.( bajji kolambu)
One part I find it odd is combination of Idiyappam with three types of side dish. coconut milk, two other curries., plain item. It will not enrich your taste buds.
Chola poori ,you will find best only in southern part of India as in north the taste is not that good, will be like big chewing gum. But here in South it tastes good, along with onion and lemon.

Chilli mushroom is without msg and colour. Nadan taste a touch of bajji the traditional evening snacks in the city. Must try.

Final touch being either pepper milk during cool breeze, good for health must try if you are health conscious.
Kamban cool( porridge) traditional drink with buttermilk chillies(mor molagai) + small onion( ask if it is not served) best to cool the body and must try during the course or at the end of meal.
Food - 4.5/5
Hospitality - 4/5 - soft spoken and good service.
Ambience - old cement sheated roofs - local ambience - 4/5 . for those who preferring a perfect modern ambience then it is 3/5
Cost - 5/5 - more than affordable . it costs Rs. 75/ head on average meal.
Restaurant is open once in a day - after 6.30 approx.
Highly recommended for pure vegetarians.
Overall - 4.5/5
