Review My Place - Coimbatore

One of my regular stopover whenever I visit Coimbatore. Good option for vegetarian hotel and dosa lovers. Service and hygiene is excellent. Their exclusive bakery section was launched on December 10th.

Visited this amazing franchise outlet which serves great items and reasonable rates. We tried out Paneer Butter Masala, Gobi Manchurian and Parathas. Great taste and quantity was also good too. They also have their sweet mart on the ground floor. Overall great dining restaurant for family, friends and officemates

Amazing south indian Thali on banana leaf. Rasam and sambar are very tasty, curries and some curd preparations are too good. If you ask for ghee and podi they charge Rs 25 extra but worth it. Service was quick and top ups were also quick. Cleaning the tables too is super efficient as removal of leafs is immediate.

Anandhas Lakshmi Mills branch: It is a better place for veg with good taste, atmosphere and they manage crowds pretty well organized and professionally. We had adai dosa , water melon kesari and salna parota. The taste is too good. Their sweets shop is also worth and tastes best

Centrally located. Lots of car parking area. Taken care by staff well. The occasion was a function in Guna Hall, 3rd floor. Lunch in 2nd floor. Neatly maintained.

Excellent food. It’s been almost 1 week. Since we are in Coimbatore were having all kind of fast foods and all because we do not get or we could not find homely food. Almost daily we have visited to restaurants to have a lunch and even dinner But This is the best place to have homely food. We are completely 100% percent satisfied with the food quality. Good vegetarian restaurant with lots of options. the ambience was nice and Courteous staff. Parotta & kuruma was awesome but tiny for the price. The veg meals/thali was mostly good, some items were just average. The ground floor hall was super crowded while the first floor ac hall was less crowded during the peak/lunch hours.

a. Car parking : Up to 12 four wheelers can be parked (dedicated 4 wheeler parking is available) 2 wheeler should be parked on the road side. b. Washroom : Men and women available A dedicated person is allocated to keep the washroom clean. c. The ambience is good d. The dining table is so spacious and ergonomic, you feel so comfortable while eating e. Till 10:15 p.m. this hotel is available to take orders. f. Everyday there'll be a signature dish available (Jackfruit kesari) f. Customer service is so good. Any item which you order takes maximum 15 minutes which is good.

Some of the best day dosas i have had. The South Indian thali was amazing. The service is quick and the prices are pocket-friendly. Definitely go to this place for a happy meal in Coimbatore.

Good taste and serves a good varieties of dishes. Ample of space available for customer dinning. Good for small get together family party and other functions. Three floors for dining and parking space available next to restaurant

Exceptional service + food is a sure winner. This group is known for their quality and is proven in this outlet. The meal's offered fulfilling, tasty and their service is outstanding. The sambar tastes very good so is the rasam. Mouth watering stuff. Highly recommended outlet.

Shree Anandhas vegetarian restaurant is best one in coimbatore.. All Tiffin items are tasty and hot. Coffee, Tea and snacks were available. Nice and neat place. car parking is also available. The rates are slightly higher other than other place. Customer service is Good.

I had very bad experience at Shree Anandhaas KMCH .Manager Mr Iyappan is so rude that he says only if we come in car we can park in front of Anandhaas ,if its two wheeler not in front of their hotel and shows some other place which is already full. Management has to take this serious, Is your hotel only for person who comes in car

Usually it is good to dine at Anandhas, <br/>but today's order through zomato- very bad<br/>Orders changed without intimation, they changed special sevai to poori without any extra masal <br/>Side dishes like sambar and chutney were not provided in the parcel they delivered. <br/>Definitely for a class of Anandas they should supervise the parcel section.. <br/>Second time no chutney in our family order

Had lunch and dinner here. Lunch was good. Beans poriyal was good. Dhal, pulikozhambu all are good. Had 2 parottas with kuruma. Pricey and Good food.

They do serve some specialties (Plantain flower pongal, healthy millets mini tiffen etc) designed by their chef Sathesh Srinivasan, which is really commendable. Prices are too good as well with every dish priced around 55-75 range<br/><br/>Parking is a bit problem, either park 100 meters away in a secluded place or basement which is like a dungeon, but this is not an excuse. It's a must visit place for a breakfast, lunch, dinner or a quick bite

The gravies were extremely spicy. We had to add our own gravy to fix the spice. Will never order from Anandhas again.

Decided to visit Anandhas at Lakshmi Mills last week for a change was left highly unimpressed <br/><br/>They have a casual dining space in lower floor and air conditioned dining area in upper floor .<br/><br/>Though we were seated promptly what transpired post that was highly questionable.<br/><br/>We had ordered ghee masala dosa ,gobi dry fry and Rava idly .Had specifically requested that masala dosa should be given first .Though our order was taken the details were not entered in kot .There were not sure of Rava idly availability .<br/><br/>We were served chapathi kuruma first and again I had to remind them to check Rava idly status and masala dosa .Next item to be delivered was gobi fry when I had to remind rem about Rava idly and masala dosa <br/><br/>When finally masala dosa was served and when I enquirer about Rava idly the waiter after hesitation told me it is unavailable ..do they need 20 minutes to communicate this .I had to order Adai and wait another 10 minutes for it to be served.<br/><br/>Masala dosa:4/5<br/>Chapathi 3/5<br/>Adai :2/5<br/>Gobi 2/5<br/>Ambience 4/5<br/>Service 1/5<br/><br/>The management should take note of training the service staff and also ensure sufficient staffing in peak times

Most of the times they are cancelling the order even if they dont have a single item in our multiple items order. Food taste is good if we visit them in person. But beware while placing online orders as they will cancel without even have a courtesy to call us. Worst behaviour

The place has a great reputation for south indian food. But if you happen to order chinese please beware. Dragon chilli paneer will be dripping with honey and you will wonder if your taste buds have failed you. I also ordered schezwan noodles and requested to make it spicy, but I guess their idea of making it spicy was to load it with chilli. So please opt this place only if you want south indian. But service is remarkable.

One of the finest South Indian Restaurant in the town. We people in the South love our south Indian dishes viz Idly, Dosa, Vada, Uttapam along with Varieties of Chutneys. Had lunch and breakfast here on a short trip to Coimbatore. <br/><br/>Veg meals for lunch included an exceedingly bland and unnecessary veg soup. The rest of the dishes in the thali were very good. Enjoyed the banana stem poriyal and the sambar. For Breakfast we chose Pongal vada. We might have chosen the variety tiffin thali but the waiter didn't show us the menu and said they only had idli-vada-pongal-dosa! The vada was quite sad..cold and not crisp at all. Good pongal and accompanying chutney and sambar.

I have ordered more than 10 times Everytime it was fresh and felt new. But yesterday the sweets ordered were kind of old it felt dry.try improving that so u don't loose customer

Today 23.06.2019 I got Parcel for Idly & Poori... On opening at home, there's no CHUTNEY... I was disappointed... Pl take much care in parcelling... Vy bad experience...

Service is sometimes wanting here, especially during rush hours, but the food here is pretty decent. Love some of the north indian dishes and local cuisine like idiyappam, appam, wheat upma etc. The morning mini-tiffin is also quite decent and very filling.

Great food at very reasonable price. Quick service and polite staff. Falooda and ice creams are original and delicious. All the south indian dishes are great and the snacks platter is amazing as well. Lastly dont forget to visit the sweet shop to get some great sweets and savouries.

From all the branches the best one in town. There AC section is very cosy and nice. North Indian and Chinese is very good here which otherwise can not be so good in South Indian restaurant. Love the place.

Bhai , agar Yha se local nahi ho aur ye hotel se Chinese order karneka soch rha h to bhookha so ja bhai. You can eat Chinese from here as your survival food.....

Shree Anandhaas is definitely a personal favorite for sweets and snacks. Their milk sweets are too delicious, you can never resist another bite. I love their diwali sweet packages too, pocket friendly. Masala Dosas are mouth watering, however, sometimes the quantity of masala has been low. Dahi puris may not have the typical North Indian flavour, but definitely worth a try.

One of the best restaurant in coimbatore The food tastes consistent and its always good to go when you have friends and family in town. Time taken for preparation is also less.

First time I was pushed by my friends to join them, but after that I use to take them all to this place. Wide range of rava dosa plane dosa and I can't remember all those idlis. Amazing is the only word to describe them. Especially the Sambhar Idly, Dosas, Adai, and coffee were really good. The concept of having the 3 extra varieties of chutneys at the table is nice. There was also a special evening menu apart from the ones in the menu card. From that the Keerai Adai-Aviyal was very good. Grapes juice and pineapple Juice goes well with food. Even the sweets are really good especially the Fig Mysorepak, Karupatti Halwa and Elaneer Halwa. You can also get to taste some piping hot samples of the halwas at the sweet counter before buying. The service was impressively fast

This place is a must visit for all those who want to experience the authentic taste and hospitality of Coimbatore! Their chutneys are amazing so is their filter coffee, dosas, puris and sambar vadas. I would also recommend their chilly chappathi, dahi puri and chole bhature. If you have a sweet tooth try their freshly made jalebis and their unique mysorepaks which comes in different flavors everyday like fig, jack fruit, cashew, pista, badam etc. Service is excellent even on a busy day. A must visit! Great experience, great food!

Very good service, neatly maintained. Fruit Kesari and Sambhar Vada are specialities. As with a lot of similar places, south indian meals on banana leaf is a tad spicy. They have an option of healthy breakfast with Millet pongal being a speciality.

Shree Anandhaas has multiple branches in Coimbatore, had lunch in the one near Lakshmi Mills during recent visit. Place has two levels of seating, ground floor is non ac and first is the ac section. Menu has combination of South Indian and North Indian . Opted for North Indian fare and<br/>tried malai kofta which was pretty sweet and stuffed naan was OK. Also in a first of sorts had kofta which was served in form of strips. Ordered Nanari sherbet on recommendation of staff which was nice.<br/>Place for quick lunch near Lakshmi mills<br/>

After a trip to neighboring Kerala for eid we decided for a light dinner and landed here. Dosa, paniaaram, sandwiches, poori, cofee. All of th. Were delicious. Nice ambience. Parking a bit o issue. Hospitality was good.

A well crowded veg restaurant in Lakshmi mills. One of the promising joints in coimbatore. The service is good, the food tastes good. The service could be faster. The butter was more in paneer butter masala which could have been reduced . Other than that all items tasted good.

Visited the place for dinner.. service was quick and prompt.. we ordered parota, rava dosa, mushroom masala dosa and idiappam.. all the items that we ordered tasted great.. but the portions were a little less.. the fresh juices could ve been better..

I loved this place for few reasons. attentive staff,dahi puri and takeaway of savoury and sweets, compared to other shop here price is less and very yummy too. recently tried elaneer jelly, was different and good. Strategically placed near the laksmi mills junction this place is crowded at almost all times but has enough tables to welcome you in. Their spread of veg is awesome and consistently tasty. Masala dosa , pongal , uzhnd vada and filter coffee...this is the minimum you should have from SA. Courteous staff , quick service are one of the key highlights. Looking forward for many many visits more!!

So I was in Coimbatore a few days ago and decided to have lunch with family at anandhaas which is pretty well known for south indian vegetarian food<br/>We generally go to Annapurna for south indian veg lunch whenever we're in Coimbatore but this time we decided to try anandhaas<br/>Thoroughly disappointed I'd say<br/>They have a non AC section below and an ac section above <br/>We ordered the south indian thali<br/>They served us something that resembled a tomato soup first, tasted nothing like it<br/>Then came the main meal<br/>A few items in small cups as is the usual style<br/>What was not so cool was they served us a little biryani and chappatis first<br/>Then came the rice and sambhar along with the appalams, ghee was also provided<br/>All the curries and the sambhar were bad<br/>Then came icecream at the end, vanilla, dint even touch it<br/>When somebody asks for a south indian thali in Tamil nadu, this is certainly not how it's done<br/>For heaven's sake, what happened to the authentic Tamil nadu sambhar which is the best in the world ??? Haven't had authentic sambhar in decades<br/><br/>The only good thing here is the ambience, gives you a star hotel feel no doubt and the thali at Rs 150 per head is kinda decently priced by Coimbatore standards or probably is a bit expensive? <br/>Hope the food matches up to the ambience someday

Like this place for a quick stop to eat regular south Indian food. No frills decent restaurant to go to. I like trying their specials. Sometimes their fried rice and other specialities are not on the mark.

I visited Coimbatore recently and tried some buckwild South Indian tiffin shops.. some of my friends suggested me anandhaas, so I thought ok there is nothing harmful in listening to your friends and went to this place.<br/>After seeing the exteriors I thought this is a posh place is it necessary to spend so much on mere Idli wada.. so I decided to step in after carefully examine in my wallet.<br/>First thing that came as mild shock to me as soon as I entered is, this shop is not just for idli wada it has a whole lot of varieties ranging from Kashmir to Kanyakumari in the cost is also not so high.<br/>The icing on the cake is everything tasted pretty good. They also have a good spread of sweets and bhakshanam. I went there during Krishnashtami, I purchased sheedai (both sweet and salt) their quality was also topnotch.<br/>

Worst service.<br/>I visited at 1pm for lunch and i ordered mushroom biriyani. They gave me a cold biriyani with less curd salad. I asked for one more curd salad which they didn't care to serve for me. The quantity was less and so i had to order another curd semiya which they didn't serve at all. They didn't care to print the bill bcos of some problem.<br/>Aanandhas will Be the last option for me to go for food.

Service is good but can be improved .<br/>Hygiene should be maintained.<br/>The thali in which they serve that is not properly cleaned.<br/>Food is delicious and the taste of the food is authentic.

Ambience was good...nothing can beat annapoorna's sambar...north indian varieties tasted good ...afternoon meals was good could have added some more variety and the price for meal is bit high for the varieties given...newly started sweets and savoury were really good...all must taste the sweets.

A restaurant that I find full always.. yummy food and varieties in their daily menu keeps me visiting again. Their butter podi aappam was a hit tempted to keep swallowing. Happy visiting, clean n friendly waiters.

Excellent South Indian food. The chutneys served are mouth watering. The service is excellent. They have enough staff to manage the restaurant. It's a busy place and you are lucky if you get a seat quickly. The staff is friendly and very good.

My favourite vegetarian spot in Coimbatore! Finger licking high quality vegetarian dishes. You can order any dish blind folded - you wont regret it. Highly recommend their ghee dosai and kesari.

Good service with pretty decent food. Being a fan of annapoorna, this is my only other option to have traditional south cuisines! it has many outlets in coimbatore and the meals provided here is very decent for its price!

Have been to all the Anandhaas outlets in Coimbatore to find this one better than the rest and also have been here several times. All the dishes here are good and same like in any good Vegetarian restaurant. <br/><br/>I specifically wanted to write this review to mention about the Malai Kofta in this place. The Malai Kofta here is fantastic. I don't know if they have different cooks for the ground floor and the first floor divisions. The Malai Kofta in the ground floor division was not up to the mark. But in the first floor, AC dining, every time I order it, the taste is same and fantastic as usual. Definitely give this a try.<br/><br/>Also, the coffee here is very good.<br/><br/>This place is crowded most of the time especially during weekends, but you'll get a table in 5-10 minutes.<br/><br/>Food - 4/5<br/>Ambience - 4/5<br/>Value For Money - 4/5

A Decent place to dine. Service is really fast. Prices are reasonable. I liked the ambience of this retaurant its quiet spacious n kinda cozy...located on the mainroad n it cannot be missed..the food is good n priced reasonably! There is noth'ng I dislike about the food here... Anandhas always serves the good authentic south indian food with interesting healthy varieties n this retaurant is no different from theia' other outlets..

Great place for South Indian breakfast. Authentic breakfast is awesome and too heavy for one person. Service is good and facilities are well maintained. Nothing special about ambiance.

Had nice dinner two days before with my relatives who came from Delhi and the food at AANANDAS especially north indian breads and other varities is so mouthful and good.

Location - Excellent location with good parking space<br/>Interiors - Nice set up. The restrooms were clean<br/>Service - Orders are electronically transmitted to kitchen and food is delivered real quick. Special shout out to Mr.Jaipal for taking care of us<br/>Food quality - we ordered set meals as well as some other items. Everything was tasting great.<br/>Cost - A set meal was 150/- and all items were reasonably priced. Price for 2 around 400/-<br/><br/>Overall excellent experience and will recommend as well as return for sure.

Being a north indian eating on banana leaf was an experience,sambar was really tasty,thou like other restaurants in Coimbatore they also don't do home delivery,I paid 60rs to the delivery boy for delivering 80rs food at race course road.that was a turn off.

I've had multiple dining experiences with this place but this review is basically for the take away. Good packing, the food stays hot for a reasonable period. Doesn't get soggy. All the chutney varieties are given as in the dine-in. Perfect place for a vegetarian to have a take away. They also do party and marriage orders and its also pretty good. And for the dine in experience, wonderful ambiance but since it is totally full on most evenings, it gets a bit too noisy. The dishes are as tasty as one can expect. Prompt service and fair pricing. Perfect for vegetarians to dine at!

Anandas used to be our Sunday morning breakfast joint. We used to enjoy having their diet breakfast Meal, That had a great deal of healthy but tasty food in it. They have both ac and non ac seating areas. Their south Indian food is tasty and well priced. They have also ventured into the North Indian and Chinese styles of cooking, and have done a really good job at mastering the Chinese cuisine. Hop in for some quick food that will satisfy the hunger pangs!

Chat items here are the best I have ever had and I would love to have it many more times. Price is reasonable. Very good ambience. Very crowdy in the peak hours, service is remarkably good and fast. North Indian cuisine I tried here was also very good, namely naans, kulchas, paneer butter masala.<br/><br/>PS: Chat items are available only in the evenings.
