My personal favorite in Coimbatore. Placed at the center of the city,it really calms my taste buds. Ambience is good. No loud music or lighting. Fried Stuffed mushroom is a must try. Sizzlers and pasta is yummy. The taste will linger in your mouth for a long time.

The experience was fantabulous. The ambience is extremely well set with soothing music and the perfect lighting. Their beef steaks are a must to order. Amazingly juicy. Other starters are amazing too. Ample car parking to avoid your wheels scorched in the sun. An amazing eatery to quench your hunger pangs

We went for whatever was suggested to us - and we're so glad we did that!! He ensured we got a taste of everything that starters had to offer, whilst not filling us up and allowing us to enjoy the steak too! Crab cakes were yum! I had the Josephine steak - it was done well, was soft, good quantity of sauce and very yummy.

The atmosphere is relaxed and the waiters were helpful. We ordered prawn in garlic and butter sauce for starters. The only bad part ofthe whole evening. Al the main courses were excellent, chicken with bell peppers was really delicious as was the mixed seafood and mixed meat sizzlers. Even the Paneer and for veg sizzler was great. And to top it all we had good entertainment from the waiter who was trying hard to affect and American accent to his tanglish.

The food quality is consistent and amazing. Particularly their Chicken Bruno with the mascapone cheese white sauce and the tasty veggies... Also another favorites of ours is the chicken rocoto tastly done with the creamy peanut based spicy sauce. Yes I agree there is one rude server out there... I thought i am the only one who felt that... But i just get someone else to take the order and it's truly a delightful experience. Recently I am enjoying their new venture curry house right below Tangerine.

A good restaurant. Ambience is gud. But they lack in hospitality. Food is good. Prawn is a must try here. It tasted really good. Overall, it's a satisfying experience.

The place is not popular and the cuisine was seemed pretty fancy for the level of popularity.<br/>We ordered for drinks along with potato skins fillings, chicken stroganoff and chicken Tarragon. Food preparation took a lot of time and we were the only customers but taste wise everything was good.<br/>The place needs more advertising for the kind of cuisine that people would normally enjoy

I loved this place. They had tiramisu and the fish sizzlers were lip smacking good. The fish fingers was fresh and ambience was good if no noisy diners.

If you are looking for a calm dinner date or if you are catching up with friends after a longtime, all you need is a place that offers wonderful food, ambience and privacy. You'll get all those here and then there is the most important thing! All this costs a but more money! And if you don't know, this is the only steak house in the city. Now moving on to the dishes we ate.<br/>We went as a group of 6 friends. We ordered two starters and then three main courses. <br/>Starters: The 'bbq chicken spring rolls' was really the most loveliest thing of the day! There were only 6 pieces in it. Yeah, that is sad! <br/>Starters: Then we ordered 'take five' the dish with decent quantity it was. The sauce they served for this was really good. And it tasted really good.<br/>Main course: Fish marseille. This dish disappointed is the most and is the reason for the 4 rating I've given. The fish meat was so less that was not even sufficient for a single person.<br/>Main course: Chicken Tarragon. This was heaven! Those chicken breasts were really large, soft fluffy and the dish was so awesome! It fed two men to the brim! It was really good!<br/>Main course: Mutton Granada. Tis so grand! Tis so delicious! 😍 It was one of the finest dish in their list it seems. We loved this dish more the chicken thing. The quantity was good. I visited this place on Sunday for dinner ,a place well known for its Sizzlers .. <br/>Ambience was pleasant but it was aphotic..<br/>Sizzlers :<br/> I had tasted "crab cakes","fried prawns" which was really toothsome and "mildly spiced BBQ Chicken" which was tangy n too less in quantity ...<br/>Main course : <br/> Their maincourse is served with sauted vegetables and jacket potato...Tasted "Chicken rocoto" which was yummy ,"mutton granoda", and fish which was good but unfortunately I forgot the name and "fish Kampuchea" which was really disgusting and was very tangy ...<br/>And I was disappointed to hear that their special tangerine fizz is not available on Sunday ...<br/>The price is overrated ...<br/>Actually the restaurant is not upto mark . Their dishes tasted like a normal homemade one ...

As catchy as the name of this restraunt sounds the food quality is not up to mark. This is placed interior to a street.... When you walk upstairs the sizzler sound makes ur stomach empty. Sizzlerssssss Awesome for Coimbatore foodies. Tried Barbeque Chicken full, special menu on the table was Barbeque pepper Paneer which gave us good treat. My friend ordered Fish Vasco and Seafood sizzler. Seafood sizzler was quite medium but Fish Vasco was great to have. Don't miss to have Chocolate Brownie sizzler with scope of ice cream....

The place is known for its sizzlers. It did not have much of an ambiance. But the taste was too good that you dont need an ambiance. We started with a soup which was satisfactory, then a pasta salad and skin potatoes for starters, which was also positive, then we had lasagne and chicken sizzler for main course. The sizzler was served with vegetables and jacket potato which was scrumptious. Finnaly we finished with a brownie and ice cream that completed the entire fine dine experience. The service was also good. And the price was worth the taste. A must visit place in coimbatore.

It was a perfect sizzling day with Tangerine Sizzlers ! It is not so much worth for the price being charged ! Feel that the place was congested ! The food was good with medium quantity:)

This place is only for sizzlers , price - 3.5* ambiance -3*, food - 3.5* , staff hospitality - 3.5 . Service charges apply . And the main thing is I don't feel like coming back again . Nothing spl, once recommendable to visit .

Located in centre of racecourse restaurant with good ambience and Lot of parking in the evenings. I am a sizzlers lover and I have eaten best sizzlers in India but never ate such a horrible one in my life. I have also visited their Bangalore, Kormangala branch which is quiet good and have tried all good sizzler restaurant like Kobe sizzler,Yana sizzler etc in different town but never got such a bad experience.<br/><br/>Lets first start with starter we ordered "Mildly spiced BBQ Chicken" which was good but too less in quantity not enough for a person also.<br/><br/>Main course we ordered "chicken steak ceaser" which was just horrible wrong. First of all sizzler are served in hot plate and are too hot, as steam coming of of it.<br/><br/>Our plate was cold and sizzler were just a warm, sizzler with gravy was on cabbage leaf at one side and other side little bit boiled vegetable badly dressed on cabbage leaf.<br/><br/>Never saw sizzler served this way and cold.Plus in place of eating knife we were provided kitchen sharp knife to cut sizzler,even then also it was hard to cut chicken.<br/><br/>Waiter was recommending one sizzler per person,its good we did't order and waited to taste first one.<br/><br/>I am giving 1.5 star only due to dessert "Warm fuggy chocolate brownie with ice cream". It was finger licking, big in quantity and just delicious.<br/><br/>So if you are sizzlers lover never visit this place, you will return home hungry.

They are charging more percent of service charge than the service tax. While I asked for the explanation I was given a typical explanation that we have mentioned it in the menu card. So usually people who dine would watch for the food varieties and its ingredients not the percent of service charge .More than that I was not even satisfied with the taste of the food and spend an unsatisfied day1 of the new year eve. Zomato has overrated this restaurant

Zomato ratings are slightly misleading for this restaurant. Service is lethargic and the folks taking orders are extremely disoriented while taking orders, they seem more interested to watch the television. Probably one of my worst experiences in Coimbatore. They ran out of steak and the host was completely unapologetic and the reason he quoted was that they had a very busy day, the joint was practically empty throughout the night. We had a variety of dishes and the only dish that really stood out was the chicken stroganoff. Lasagne was not baked properly and we had to send it back. Place seems to be a decent joint which is badly managed. Definitely they need to train the folks who are taking orders and such service in race course locality is definitely disappointing. Price and ambiance they seem to be ok.

The food here is quite tasty. The ambience too was great. The food is however a bit overpriced. The restaurant gives you a sense of calmness and the mood is just right.

If you want a restaurant to try out different sizzlers then this is your place. It was overpriced before but now with the combo pack they have clearly provided a solution for it! good one!

Went here for a Sunday dinner, are opted.for a couple combo!! Tangerine fizz was ok tasted more like canned Tropicana juice. The corn fritters were mind blowing crunchy, less oily and yummy and the onion dip it came was the highlight! In sizzlers we ordered for veg shashlik and chicken strogonoff... While both tasted great wish they were hot like a sizzler, they were warm wen bought to the table so that was a little disappointing!! But overall a tasty experience.

This place is only for sizzlers and it totally does justice to the only thing it prepares. The variety they serve is huge. Other than the taste of the food, another amusing thing about this place is the wonderful way in which they serve their dishes. Most of the sizzlers here are served with baked / mashed potatoes and whipped cream, and it's a great combination. The restaurant can, however, be a bit heavy on your pocket.

We ordered starters ,sizzlers and deserts....Sizzlers dint evn taste like sizzlers ...Starters was ok..And the deserts death by chocolate & waffles was pathetic ..All over the food was very disappointing

I came here for a quick dinner few weeks back where I tried out couple of their main course and some cold beverages.The ambience is pleasing and the whole restaurant can accommodate around 30-40 people.Their menu has a fusion of both Indian and Continental cuisine. The steward who attended us was helpful in sorting out things for us while placing the order.We tried out the Chicken meat ball sauce with Penne and Fish Vasco.Both were incredibly cooked which is good enough for 2 people.We also tried out Iced mint tea and Tropical dream which was not up to the level which we expected,must improvise the beverage part! The overall experience was good and definitely this place is advisable for Sizzlers!

Very good ambience, and pleasant waiters. Though, they could tone down on the air freshener. Cons were that they had no beef and mutton, I'm not sure if that was because we went in the afternoon on a weekday or if it was something else. We had the cream of spinach and mushroom, which was lovely. Fresh ingredients and the soup itself had a very nice flavor. Then, the BBQ spring rolls. It was loaded with meat. Good flavor, but I wouldn't say exactly BBQ-ish. Very filling. Two sizzlers, the chicken Isabel and chicken Desiree. Isabel was mildly spiced and Desiree was sweet. Both were really good. Chicken was cooked very well. And the flavors were nice. Quantity wise, extremely filling! Dessert, we had Death by chocolate, which I feel they could improve on the presentation, it looks sort of unappealing. But looks are deceiving. A decadent, but not overpowering dessert. The tangerine fizz was also really good. Orangey, with an ice cream flavor. Overall, a really good experience. Price is a bit on the higher side. But for the taste and quantity, it is worth it.

I have been to this place only once. I ordered a non veg platter which had a nice set of kababs and tikkas. Chicken fried rice was ok. Shakes were good too.

Love this place. One of our favourite cosy dine outs. Love their sizzlers and pasta. Almost everything's good from the menu. Worth the try and won't be disappointed with them.

We ordered the combo since its a pricey restaurant ,in a city like Coimbatore. Ambience was decent. Service was neat. Food was exquisite. Fish and prawn sizzlers were best i've ever had. Overall a good experience.

Tangerine is one good place which will attract people of all walks of life. Having a pleasing ambience with soothing music playing in the backdrop and a friendly bunch of attendants, this place sure knows how to satisfy its customers. <br/>We had been there on new years eve at around 11.30 at night, yet these people managed to serve quality food within minutes amidst a packed house and other people waiting outside. Hats off to you guys👍👏

One of the best restaurant in Coimbatore for steak lovers. Tasted some continental non-veg sizzlers. 'Steak diane' was super good. We got it Well done, the creamy sauce along with the meat was delight for the taste buds. Ambiance was pretty much decent. You don't have ample car parking, since it is Race course you needn't worry much about it though. We went to the place little early, weren't permitted inside and so waited outside. They would treated their guest at-least by letting their guest wait inside the restaurant till their kitchen opens. Otherwise service was good inside the hotel.

This is literally the ONLY steak house in Coimbatore. And for those reasons I've become a big fan. It was just my brother and I, and we could avail the offer packs available, which would've otherwise costed us a bomb. The steaks are as usual. There's nothing extremely special about it, but the monopoly just gives them the edge. People in Coimbatore with serious steak cravings must seriously give this place a try. You wouldn't be disappointed. Also, do try the Honey Mustard Sausage Flowers in the starters section. <br/>Actual Rating : 4.0<br/>But due to the exclusivity : 4.5.

AMAZING OFFER,  FAMILY FEAST, MUST VISIT!the best place for sizzlers, i hope they are the only one in coimbatore to have much varieties in sizzlers,<br/>last week we visited to this place for our parent wedding anniversary, we are around 16adults, they suggested us to take their ongoing offer family feast 4starters+ 4sizzlers+ 4desserts for 4adults at 1999/- , we taken 4 of this, and mainly u can chose anything from the menu. this was amazing offer! <br/><br/>food and service was excellent.

i am a big sizzler lover so went here with a lot of hope. Sadly they only thing they can call as "sizzler" is the plate! The food is served on top of a thick plate of cabbage. (??!!) Hence the food doesnt even get the flavour from the sizzler plate! I felt like i was having mexican curry with a separate bowl of rice instead of mexican sizzler. The menu will say "served on a bed of rice" though its actually served on thick bed of cabbage :-(. <br/><br/>Having said that, taste is not so bad, but its not a sizzler for sure. They probably need to do some more research on what is a sizzler and how to make it - the plate is not just for show, it adds a lot of flavour to the food when served directly in it.

Went here for lunch with a bunch of friends. They had a very good offer ( 4 starters, 4 sizzlers and 4 desserts for 1999)(limited time). I had a Steak Diane, BBQ chicken starters and waffles. Steak Diane was above expectations as the beef was quite tender, although not done rare :'(.... The chicken starter was spicy on point and fresh. The waffles were simply amazing and is probably the best waffles I've ever had. The sad part though is that it is not always available ( told by a friend).

An amazing place to have mind blowing sizzlers. The food here is amazing. A must try for people who love sizzlers. The menu looks very expensive but its definitely worth the price. It s a bit tricky yo locate the restaurant as it is located in a small alley next t o subway.

An expensive continental fine dine located within Race Course. They have a cafe downstairs -'Le Bistro', which we couldn't try. Tangerine portrays a dimly lit theme, which was cool for the eyes but could have been more classier. Service time is satisfactory. But the service itself was not up to the mark. After all, we don't pay a hefty 10% Service tax for the waiters to serve us clumsily so that they can go & watch IPL on the TV. All of them seemed glued to the TV & it felt disrespectful. <br/>The food was expensive as expected. But I certainly enjoyed the Lasagne Bolognaise, although I couldn't appreciate the dish in layers as described in the menu because I believe it wasn't served right. The Death by Chocolate was sheer bliss & worth it. Overall a tasty retreat only smudged by its overpricing,service & ambience.

I visited this place with my friend and both of us loved the food here. The chicken bruschetta was outstanding and melted in our mouth. The sizzler was good but the quantity was less for the price paid. But over all it was a good experience.

Had very moderate expectations but the food was horrible. Service was excellent and the ambience was good enough except the stairs that lead to the restaurant. Overall safe to say I will never recommend it to any one I like

The restaurant dishes and menu are so vast but ultimately they lack the taste and the meaning of sizzler all the dishes are completely drenched in sauce that it feels like u r in a mud pool. The restaurant interiors is good but the entrance is so bad. Half the dishes in the menu are unavailable even on any sunday. My one line go only if u want to waste time and money

When i came to Coimbatore i was searching for a steakhouse but couldn't find any. Then i came to know about tangerine. But i couldn't visit as my foodie company was reluctant to go. Tangerine prides itself as the only stand alone steakhouse in Coimbatore , It is a branch of the famed sizzler joint in alwarpet,chennai ,but this is a franchise ! Ambience is not well lit , I prefer dim lighting but this is like eating in the pits of hell ( in terms of luminescence ) . <br/>Ordered the “ Steak Josephine Baker “ , which is an odd name for a steak due to the Racist story associated with Ms.Josephine Baker ( google it if u want ) . The dish was served in approx.15 -20 mins and I ordered my Steak MEDIUM and my friend got his WELL DONE . The Steak was really good , it was cooked to perfection and the succulent meat was beautifully seasoned . The sauce that comes with the steak was fantastic and I was really impressed . The sauteed veggies along with the dish was good with the right amount of crisp but the potato jackets was under cooked, but since the steak was really good I let it slide . Tangerine Chennai is known for its signature desert “DEATH BY CHOCOLATE “ , this being a franchise and reading few zomato reviews we decided to not try it . But the final verdict is ,its One amazing place in Coimbatore to eat steak ! Yes few zomato review say otherwise but if you know how to order the right steak or sizzler you will like it ,else you are in for a disappointment as there are sizzlers with honey and indian spice ( sigh ) . I will definitely revist this place again to try a different steak or sizzler .<br/><br/>They have newly opened a bistro at the ground floor,called LE BISTRO ,Which was empty on a Sunday evening in Race course , which pretty much sums up the picture . 1 cake and 2 tarts was all they had and those seem to be on display for days . we ordered espresso and it took 20 mins !!! that’s right 20 mins the same time it took for the steak to get served . And the espresso sucked too … so stay clear from this disaster of a café at the ground floor .

I checked into tangerine on a Friday evening. Even though it is located in race course, it's not completely explored by many people yet, so finding a table won't be a problem other than exceptions. The ambience was good and a place where you can find maximum of continental foods with quite few Indian dishes. A good place for people who has a strong desire for Sizzlers with one of the few restaurants in Coimbatore where you can find steak ( but very few in the menu). Be sure on the Sizzlers you choose as they provide strong savour to their varieties and going for an inappropriate dish with spices from your favourite can turn out your dining down.<br/><br/>My orders <br/>1. Chicken Isabel 😔😔😔<br/>As the description in the menu said it gives you a mildly spiced red chilly sauce flavour which tempted me to order was strongly disappointing for me. <br/><br/>4. Crab cakes 😊😊😋<br/>This was my first occasion to ever notice a crab cake in a menu. It was simply super.<br/><br/>5. Fried Calamari 😊😊😊<br/>This is nothing but a squid fish fry served with lemon mayonnaise which was absolutely stunning than squid fish. Just ask for more lemon mayonnaise to the waiter and use for the other dishes.<br/><br/>6. Desserts DBC 😊😊😋<br/>Tasted really good <br/><br/><br/>7. This is a good place for sizzlers. They have continental as well as some Indian sizzlers. I tried the Fish Vasco among the Indian sizzlers as I haven't had the Indian version of sizzlers before. It tasted alright but it didn't taste any different from the regular rice and fish curry combination. I may visit again to try the continental sizzlers

This would be my first review from CBE! Came down for the weekend. A Saturday lunch for three people. <br/><br/>This would also be my first visit to Tangerine - even though it's a well known name in Chennai. Came here for their sizzlers. <br/><br/>I'm not commenting about the location aspects - coz I'm new to this city. And with regard to the parking options - there's a lot of space on the by-lane that the place is situated at. <br/><br/>Ambiance : It's on the first floor. Shares space with another bistro. We had gone in for an early lunch at 12:45. And for the entire one hour that we were there, there was no one else. A little surprising. And for the hour that we spent there, we had the opportunity to catch the India-Australia cricket match. <br/><br/>What we ordered : <br/>*Cream of Mushroom and Spinach Soup : (A one by two portion) Thick and Creamy. A great flavour to it. Went well together. <br/>*Crab Cakes - first on their menu card and the first thing that caught my eye. 5 nicely fried cakes. And a well made tartar dip that accompanied the crab meat. Delicious! <br/>*Stir Fried Chicken Malacca - though it was dosed with green chillis, it din't taste all that spicy. A nice Asian taste to it. Soya Sauce and a pepper seasoning. Was the best of the three sizzlers we ordered. <br/>*Fricasse of Mushroom and Corn - a good continental sizzler. Filling. The classic combination of the corn and mushroom does magic. <br/>*Stuffed Cottage Cheese : not a great choice. One, the paprika was too strong. Two, the cheese went overboard. Almost choked on it. <br/><br/>Service : Regular. Considering we were the only ones there - we had all their attention. <br/><br/>Cost : INR 1900 including taxes and tips for three people. I would say that it's priced on the higher side - especially the crab cake. The sizzlers have the same pricing as what you'd notice in any other place. <br/><br/>Bottomline : Go for the sizzlers! Beware of the cheese. A good place for a family meal.

The pasta in Tangerine is very authentic, we had a three course meal and the starters, main course and dessert were all equally delicious. The restaurant is tucked away in a quiet corner in Race course and make it for a perfect friday night dining experience.

For my friends, this was the first time they had a continental food. And they loved it. <br/>We had Chicken Stoganoff, Steak Dianne, Fricasse of Mushroom and Corn, and Mutton Granada.<br/><br/>The steak Dianne was the best.<br/><br/>Costed 1900 for the four of us.

I have been to their resturant in Chennai and bangalore. I loved the food in Chennai that was say 5 years back. I went with the same expectations. I was really let down there is no heart in the cooking. I love thir baked potatoes though I asked without the cream I got with the sour cream and really cold and stale potatoes may be it was done 2 days back and refregerated. The sizzles were a whole meal there but can only be a side here. But again people in coimbatore are left with less choices.

I've been to Tangerine a couple of times with my friend for lunch, who absolutely loves the food here. They have a variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian sizzlers. Their potato based starters are delicious, and we usually have two plates of these! In addition to this, they have a mix of pastas as well. Both taste equally good, and the pricing is reasonable. Wind up your meal with some Brownie and ice cream, to satisfy your dessert pangs as well.

Steak was excellent. However they do tend to make overdose with eats in other sizzlers. Excellent ambience. Seriously over priced though. Overall good experience.

First of all I should thank the management for being so patient with us. We were 14 of us and went in there by 10 p.m. The service was fast, the starters were really good. The white sauce used for pasta tasted great. Did not get to order desserts cuz it was 11:15 already. Overall it the experience was pretty good cuz customer service was good. The customer service gets brownie points.

Amazing Place for Sizzlers,every dish is better than the other!! The service was good and fast!The Take 5 and the Apple pie are must haves!! The Apple pie was one of the best I've tasted!! This place is a must try.

Meeting up with family after a long time, and tangerine is a nice place to go to. The atmosphere is relaxed and the waiters were helpful. We ordered prawn in garlic and butter sauce for starters. The only bad part ofthe whole evening. Al the main courses were excellent, chicken with bell peppers was really delicious as was the mixed seafood and mixed meat sizzlers. Even the Paneer and for veg sizzler was great. And to top it all we had good entertainment from the waiter who was trying hard to affect and American accent to his tanglish. 😂

I have Been to this place for a Group Dinner and when I say group, it means 60 odd people. We had a word with the management before hand so per person we were supposed to chose a starter, a sizzler and a dessert or drink. <br/><br/>The service was good considering 60 people having the food at the same time. Preparing sizzlers for so many people isn't an easy task but they handled it pretty well. <br/><br/>Non veg starters were good. Didn't try the veg ones. I really liked the Chicken rocotto sizzler. I tried all the chicken and fish related sizzlers. They were pretty good. Veg sizzlers could have been better but no harm in trying them. I was full after the starters and the main course so couldn't have any dessert. Jus had the lime soda. <br/><br/>U have to be at this place atleast once if u r a fan of sizzlers. The specialized resturant for the sizzlers. As i dont have much love for sizzlers am just okay with the menu. But apart from that starters and desserts were good.

I am falling in love again and again with the dish called "Fish Moutarde" ..Thats the  best fish dish i have had so far :) .. Having been in Chennai and Bangalore for many years, being a Coimbatorian Tangerine never miss to Surprise me on each visit with its quality and choice...Very delightful ambiance, highly professional staffs with sound knowledge on the menu and customization too ...Two weeks back i took one of my Italian client who dont prefer spicy Indian or continental food(not even a little spice)... On request , there was few customization made on a chicken dish and she fall in love with that..I am sure she will prefer this place again to meet .  Kudos to the team...

Have been hear three times in the past few months I never get bored of the place. The taste is exotic. I love to eat fish mortared Again and again!!!! Range of sizzlers make u go crazy on it. The best place to eat sizzlers in town would undoubtedly Tangerine. In tears of service and hospitality they do their best to make us comfortable..

The place was dimly lit. Its just a house which is transformed into a restaurant. They have the so called vallet parking and my car was parked on the side of the road. LOL! :D The sizzlers weren't that great and I can say it is not worth the pay at all! The food for its taste is costly! The sizzlers with rice were bland. The waiters were very polite and attentive but when it comes to some match on the TV they had all their attention there. I wish they ask us how spicy the dishes should be and suggest a good one for newbies!

Wow just wow! This place has very good ambience and has a good vibe to it well my friend and I are foodies and we love steak and by far one of the best places with good choice of steaks and really good desserts

We ordered 4 items.Soup - I ordered the one chicken soup they had. Cant remember the name though. Soup was very good but I wasn't accustomed with the taste and hence didn't enjoy it much. But it wasn't the soups problem, it was mine. Hence soup gets a decent (3/5)They had the best sizzlers I have eaten till date. Believe me, I haven't seen a better sizzler joint in Coimbatore......(5/5)Crab Cakes- I liked them a lot. Great ambience. I've been to the one in Madras, so I knew what to expect with the food. The "steak Josephine Baker" was outstanding. Was let down a bit by the "death by chocolate". But overall a great experience :)

There is nothing special about this place for vegetarians and I wouldn't recommend anyone to visit this place if they are vegetarians. There are better places than this near to tangerine .

Taste was really good, especially the sizzlers, the quantity being very less though. Price is on the higher side. Crab balls were toothsome

The place is pretty good.a little pricy but totally worth it. The ambience is romantic and elegant.the staff is very courteous and friendly.the food tastes brilliant. We ordered a bruschetta wich was amazing and the entrées were a mushroom and corn sizzler and the chicken peri peri dish. Both were hot and tasty.I would suggest you share the sizzler between 2 people.its very heavy for one person. The deserts were good too.u definitely have to check this out.

My home away from home. With most of my work centered at race course, I have come to spend a lot of time at Tangerine. Tucked away in a little bylane of race course, it is cozy and inviting. The sizzlers, especially the non vegetarian ones are outstanding. Mocktails need a little work though. Starters and desserts are fantastic too, though a little overpriced. If you want a non crowded, premium experience, go to tangerine. Love it.

Went for a Bday treat few days back and i personally felt  the ambiance, service and food is equally good..would highly recommend it for a different and interesting dining experience..

For me personally, this place was a disaster. The ambience and service is all nice. The food is bad. Mocktails were unsatisfactory. Tax of about Rs 400 was charged. The dishes are overpriced and not worth it. We had high expectations.

The ambience is nice. But the food is not as good as I expected. I went there for the sizzlers and death by chocolate. Both of it was not up to the mark.

Not to mention about its location, we had a hard time in finding this place. The ambience was pretty good once we are inside the place. Food was good. Sizzler lovers can enjoy this place.

I liked the place, tucked away in a small corner in race course. Loved the ambience and the service. All the non veg steaks were brilliant, kudos to the chef. But the best part of the whole experience were the desserts! Wonderful waffles

Maybe tangerine likes to focus more on the meat eaters but my mixed grill sizzler was a disappointment, the sauces were good, but the paneer was hard and the vegetable shaslik was not very pleasing to the palate. The stuffed mushrooms we ordered too were bland and missed salt. My friend said he liked his chicken sizzler though. So some effort for vegetarians would be nice as well. I wouldn't recommend this place for vegetarians yet.

I liked the interiors. Steaks was outstanding. The one with bell peppers was something to die for. Non veg starters were good. The veg starter- potatoe skins wasn't nice. Desserts were nice but the quantity was too less. Death by chocolate was simple, expected a lot but disappointed. Service was not upto the mark.

Went for dinner with group of 4..ambience was decent and good. I ordered for crab cakes, chicken steak cease and iced mint tea which was really tasty. Friends too ordered similar dishes and tasted good. Service was good too...<br/>Would visit again if time permits.<br/>Overall 4/5.

Ambience is good, food is good but I felt the price is too high. Was eager to have death by chocolate here which was much talked about, but it turned out to be a disappointment. If you have had DBC in corner house, then you'll definitely hate it here. Sizzlers are really good but seriously I was not convinced by the bill. Rating is for the food and ambience. Value for money is definitely a "No". Worth visiting though.

My favorite destination for beef in coimbatore. Delightful steaks , good ambience and pleasant service. Must try if you're a meat lover. Could do with some more marketing though. Still has the feel of a not so well known gem.

After having proper south indian food for almost a week my friends & I had decided to have something else. It will be a good change in our taste. We zeroed in on Tangerine. I believe this is the same Tangerine as Bangalore. Seeing a familiar restaurant we could not stop ourselves. The decor is quite old fashioned. This looked more like a house in subarban England than a restaurant. Please note there is nothing fancy decor or anything, it's just the feeling. The restaurant is tucked away at one corner, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We were quite impressed by the entire set up. The staff were quite courteous and they were super generous in keeping the kitchen open just for us (we reached there at 3:30pm, almost closing time). <br/>We ordered for 3 main course viz. 1 veg pasta, 1 Chicken Torreon & 1 Malai Tikka Sizzler. <br/>The pasta was splendid and the Chicken Torreon was spectacular. Unfortunately I had a slight problem with the Malai Tikka Sizzler. I thought there would be generous portion of malai caressing the chicken, but it was otherwise. The dish was little dry but I cant complain about the taste. It was really good. <br/>The portion of the all the dish was quite good, quite filling. We gulped down our main course with Lemon Ice Tea. I must say it felt quite refreshing. It was one of the better ice teas i have had for a while.<br/>Overall a hearty and thoroughly satisfying meal.

Very very new type for Coimbatore.....slight expensive...taste is on higher end...staff are nice here....ambience is creative.....worth the try....<br/>

I'm not sure that I can find fault with Tangerine actually, as the restaurant itself is tastefully decorated and in a peaceful setting, the staff are really friendly and efficient and the food is delicious! It was my first time here and I'll definitely be going back. I didn't even realise what a 'sizzler' was until the main courses came out, but it's a brilliant concept; ensures that your food is piping hot and I love the jacket potatoes as opposed to french fries, a healthier option and a flavour you don't often find in many restaurants. The food is really good value and the portions are very generous. I can highly recommend the potato skins, the prawns, the steak and the stroganoff, all were really tasty and while I'm sure there are spicy versions of these dishes for Indian folk, we thoroughly enjoyed being able to eat something without our noses running and our eyes streaming!! Excellent all round :-)

I know I felt like a tool not trying one of coimbatore's exclusives. But trust me that feeling was long gone once the food arrived<br/>Situated in the swanky race course area. It's a bit off the main road and easy to miss if not for the sign board. Parking ain't an issue so you can safely bring your bmws n your lambos plus they have a valet option too.<br/><br/>Loved the ambience . Especially the (fake or real ?) chimneys/vents over each of the tables . The furniture gave a very barbequey picnicy feel and had been very tastefully done up<br/><br/>Food : delish!! Started off with some chicken filled potato skins with gooey cheese over it accompanied with cool sour cream. Party in my mouth indeed ! Along with the crunchy mushroom cheese balls n cheesy garlic bread . Spectacular indeed. My usual main course would've been the chicken Aragon ( not cos I love Lord of the rings ) , but this time I tried chicken lousanne. N boy do I have a new favourite . Tender chicken in a creamy lip smacking blue cheesy sauce.. Truly out of this world. The chicken lasagna was pretty good too. Our only grouse was that the veg kampuchcha was a tad too spicy( it is supposed to be that way fyi) . But the fact that they immediately offered to replace it free of cost , with summin less spicy even after my wife was halfway done with it, made the heat disappear :). So I guess it goes without saying that the service was fantastic :)<br/>All in all an amazing experience .. Tangerine coimbatore has truly lived up to if not exceeded the chennai outlets name n fame. Will most definitely be going back there for more :)<br/>

Had chicken strauganoff which came in white sauce usually it comes in brown sauce but the taste was good though.... Fish vasco sizzler - taste was ok <br/>Chicken torreon sizzler which tasted good..., the tangerine juice tastes like cough syrup strawberry daiquiri was good .... Should improve in the beverage taste ....

Not too good not too bad. Took a mixed sizzler ...overpowering sweet flavour to the sauce. The mustard in the starter was also overpowering. The sausage is overcooked. But the desserts are amazing.

I had heard about a type of dish called Sizzler.... and I ate it for the 1st time @ Tangerine :-)<br/><br/>The ambiance is good with lite music playing but the entry to the place looked as if I'm entering the castle of the Dracula.<br/><br/>Breads & bread-based... my favorites! Had a good time with starters!<br/>I'm happy they have a wide variety of choices for vegetarians also.<br/><br/>Sweet sound of sizzlers was just amazing! And Desserts.... Happened to visit this place in Coimbatore which is situated in the most happening area in cbe..race course road.. Ambience is good and food is incredibly tastier..this restaurant is famous for sizzlers :-) probably the only place in Coimbatore where you get proper sizzler..this place is a must visit for sizzlers and desserts :-) :-) the location is little to find as it is located little inside the main road..

There is just one word for this place. Foodelicious. It had some of the best Sizzlers EVER. We were a bunch of 8 and each one ordered a different main course starting from the Indian fish sizzler, Lasagne and the Peri Peri chicken sizzler. Undoubtedly all of them refreshed our taste buds. Definitely the best eat out for Sizzlers in Coimbatore. Love the ambience and their choice of music too. I'm a bit of a sweet tooth and went crazy with the brownie and pie. Avoid the cheese cake though. One drawback. Quite on the expensive side.

Chicken Bellpepers... Loved the tangy spicy sauce.. Think once in a way have to try these delicies ... It was a home delivery.. Though well packed sure eating there would have made difference ?@@

Great ambience, good music n awesome food. The sizzlers here are awesome, probably best in the town. Try their Prawns Vasco sizzler which comes with rice n coconut based gravy. The other dish we tried was Tandoori chicken sizzles, which was standard chicken fare. Also, to die for was the fabulous Mud Pie. Do try this place, if u happen to be around.
