Review On The Go Restaurant - Coimbatore

Writing as a tourist (Malaysian) perspective. This place is awesome and hidden gem. Food served was great and delicious. Ordered variety of dishes and the one I like was the mushroom with some cheese on top. This is one of the best appetisers. Not to forget as well, the biryani were awesome too. Overall, price was still reasonable. The waiter and waitress are also quite friendly and helpful. Best service ever.

A good place to dine in. Dishes could be very good or not so good depending on how you like it. Fusili pasta with pesto sauce was good. Panneer popcorn was okay; expected something different. Cheesecake is good. Soup with lemongrass was okay. White Devil and Mint lemonade drinks were nice.

A good place for quick bites, desserts and beverages. I personally didn't like their main dishes. The cost is little too high. The ambiance was cool and it's a good place to hangout with friends. The staffs are customer friendly and provided the best service.

First of this is fine dine ! So the food is costly !! But it tastes very premium and rich !! Their mud soufflé is top notch 🙌 and must try for all good reasons !! They take some time to serve the food but it is worth it ! Their pastas are so good

I would give extra five starts too… I have been to this place 8 years ago… even now it’s maintained really well… loved the ambience… Hats off to the chef… they made chicken popcorn with zero spice and my kids loved it…. White sauce penne pasta was heavenly with a bit of Smokey flavour and creamy too… Butter naan and murgh chicken gravy was lip smackingly delicious…… Finally the fish briyani was good… Over all I would highly recommend this place…. And will visit This place again….. Again hats off to the entire team…..

As soon as I entered just loved the vibe. They had this one wall where all pictures of family and stories were quite unique. Good food, nice ambience and polite staff would definitely want to visit again whenever in coimbatore 💖💖

Food is very tasty, if u like quiet and funky places this is the perfect place to go although the waiters could be a bit more welcoming....Overall great experience!! Would visit again

Good ambience. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. Parmesan cheese is supposed to be topped with pasta. But we were given different cheese. Hope this is taken care of.

Came here for lunch on a sunday afternoon with a bunch of friends. We ordered a lot of starters while watching the cricket World Cup finals in 2023, which was being screened at the restaurant. The chicken tempura and paneer popcorn were really nice. The dipped fried chicken and garlic bread with cheese are better at fast food places that are known for those dishes. This place is known for its mud pie which was really good. The cheese cake was also pretty nice

What a great place. State of the art. Shout out to thyagarajan - brilliant service. The staff were cheerful - the place was spotless clean. Ample parking - warning - you need to reserve for a great experience.

Service is an issue. Had ordered 2 plates of Rashmi kabab but was served one. Excuse of wrongly written. Drinks etc overpriced. About quality of food. Yummy. Personal attention by the owner would help in taking the staff in check. Am a regular and wish to see improvement in customer friendly staff :)

The food is good but the service is horrible .. The whole bad service impacted the experience ... When ordering beware that the accompaying dishes might come after you dish is over or not come atall We ordered 1.garlic bread and ketchup was never served 2. Soup - venigar came after my soup was all cold ( veg clear soup wasnt good too) 3. Pita pockets - hummas was served after everyone had almost finished the pitas 4. Biryani - extra raita order way before biryani had been services and came only after biryani was again almost over All these items were reminded not just once but atleast twice and thrice. And the negligence of the peraon attenidng us was just topping to the bad service When the extra raita was served we asked them to cancel it was not required any more and the person said that they had forgotten about it when we had reminded the people around a few times. We asked forthe manager and the waiter very arrogantly said that its not my concern the manager is coming . That is sure not a way you expect a person to reply. The manager sure attended us but i am sure not to go here again and would not suggest anyone to go
Mirthun Makendhiran
The food was alright. But the service was pretty bad. There was nobody to receive us when we entered the restaurant and we had waited at the desk for quite some time. Would not recommend.

#NeverGoOnTheGo Had a horrible Diwali dinner. Deserts were served before the main course. Menu was misleading.

I am dedicating my time to write a review about "on the go " restaurant at race course. We were a great fan of that's y food at rs Puram assuming we will be able to relish the same taste here . We booked the table over phone,At first the person who attended the phone has lack of communication skill . When we entered the hotel the ambience was really appealing , as it was Sunday kinda Crowdy meanwhile we were going thru the menu card , the owner was pleasing she gave another menu card (Festival Menu) as most of items was not available in the previous card. But It was the most disappointing experience we had together as a family and couldn't believe the way the Manager "Manoj" just reacted saying sorry as a word which was very easy and convenient for him. Non Veg was served to Veg people due to lack of miscommunication he clearly mentioned it's veg and served . Only later on when others tasted we came to know it's non veg by the time they consumed and the taste of the food was not that great as we had heard from the reviews and I feel that mostly that the positive reviews are by their own team or their relatives who is just posting on various social sites to gain popularity. On top of this they have charged us 10% service tax and when we wanted to speak to the Owner Ranjana Singhal she is not at the scene and initially she was suggesting us what kind of dish we should have and which one tastes better and when needed most her absence says it all. Just be careful when you go to restaurants like this !!!! We just need an apology from the owner she just fled away knowing the situation . Have heard her speeches personally but it's just for the world not for herself .

Standards going down due to poor, extremely poor service...

Kindly take into note that this restaurant whom I have repetitively told regarding the service tax rule, they are not following...the put the service tax of 5% on the entire bill amount which is incorrect, rather that 5% should be put only on the service charge... simply put they overcharge every customer by 100 to 200rs on every bill....this is not because of ignorance as they know about it...instead this is fraud and going against the recommendations of the finance ministry...I am soon going to lodge a formal complaint with the consumer forum...

Good food .... great ambience !

e of the worst food ordered ever .
Brought just one item for 800rs, not even worth a penny. It went straight into our bin. In the name of salad only few beans and lettuce was given, french fries was refried in old oil . The unbearable flavour was the sauce, too sour to consume and had an unpleasant smell to it.

A total disappointment.

Great location and ambiance make this restaurant stand out in Coimbatore for North Indian cuisine. We went Monday evening and were surprised to see it packed with a waiting involved for seating. Service is good (4/5) and the food too.
After having stayed in N. India, the food here (3/5) was not too much of a disappointment. Appetizers were good but the main course (v/nv) could be better.
Desserts had only bakery and ice-cream options.
Mano Thiagarajan
A different North Indian Restaurant in Coimbatore. Loved the place setup. They have used every bit of place to be used maximum. Photo frames are a delight to see. Must visit for friends & families.

In an Age where new Restaraunts are coming up with New dishes and competitive pricing. These kind of OVER PRICED AND EXTREMELY OVERRATED restaraunts shouldn’t even exist. Horrible Price to Quantity Ratio. Taste is extremely Mediocre. DO NOT FALL FOR THE LOCATION AND VIBE.

FOOD I ORDERED:

Mint and Lemon soda: Average Taste, Extremely Small quantity.
White devil Devil : Suggested by the waiter as their Best. Don’t go Nowhere near it. Extremely small quantity and Mediocre taste for 225 Rupees.

Garlic Naan : Extremely hard to take a bite off.
Butter chicken gravy : Mediocre.

The menu will blow you away. Carefully crafted and served with passion. Use a blindfold and order anything, you will not be disappointed. Also, the blue coloured is amazingly soothing while eating here. The desserts are worth every penny. Totally recommended for all human beings.

One of the recommended places in Coimbatore. Went there last night for dinner and I must say, Coimbatore has come up with some really nice fine dining joints. Right from the ambience to the hospitality, this place really impressed me. I tried the on the wild chicken salad and the ferrerro rocher mud souffle. I was totally impressed with the dressing and the presentation of the salad. Sumptuous in quantity and rich in taste, the salad was good enough to fill me up for the evening and I had obviously spared some appetite for the signature dish- the mud souffle. Totally worth the hype and the taste. Perfect combination of ferrerro rocher and Chocolate and ice cream, this was a treat to my eyes and the palate as well. Absolutely sinful in taste and easy on the pocket, it's a must must must try option here. Awesome work team! Kudos!

First Thing is that it's bit expensive, but who cares when it comes to food!
Drinks are awesome and fantastic. You should try the Mellon and Phoebe Mocktails,
Chicken wings are too sweet but it was good.

I loved the ambience of the place. Tried their pasta which was good, though it wasn't anything extraordinary. The honey chilli potatoes and garlic bread were amazing! It's was so good that we wanted more and more of it. The paneer katti roll though was a bit of a let down. But definitely a place that I would visit again.

We went for lunch here on a weekday. The ambience was very nice, the staff were friendly. We mostly ordered Indian items like kebabs, naans and didn’t get to try out the other items. Starters & Chicken Briyani were good, the naans were really hard and the gravies/desserts we ordered were okay.
Food 3/5, Service 4/5, Ambience 4/5

Expensive yet worthy place to hangout with loved ones.. These guys r so specialist all over especially breads, the soft n supple butter rich aroma when it hits, remember u r at on the go. Tandoories to gravies they have an unique flavour. Once or twice I've tried biryani too (long before) wasn't satisfied much then but need to give a try again. See u soon guys!!

If you’re looking for good fine dining, amazing ambience, and diversity in cuisine, you’re looking for On The Go. Definitely among the top 10 in Coimbatore in terms of taste.
P.S the Reshmi Kebab and mud soufflé are a must try!

Ambience : Pleasant and feels good being inside.
Staffs : very nice service
Food Taste : Tasted some wonderful prawns, delicious north indian curries, perfect naan and roti and some yummy kebabs :)

Quantity and quality is good enough for the price paid.! Will keep visiting :)

One of the worst experiences! We waited for more than 10 minutes for water, I went at 8:30 and came out at 10:30, the food was ok, the waiter doesn't even know what we are ordering only the manager helped us to get food a bit faster, I ordered tomato brochette just a toasted bread and tomato's took about 40 mins even they didn't even care to take the bill, we are tourists and had a worst experience. The 2 stars are only for the food!

Yes its yet another hidden italy inside racecourse 😋 this restaurant gives a yummy taste with so much variety in italian cuisine. We started of with a short lemonade followed with assorted veg sausage starter with spaghetti white cheese sauce pasta which was yummy and i could really felt the real taste of pasta here. We had one more dish which is stuffed crispy cheese mushrooms which was awestruck !! well cooked and never tasted such a good mushrooms ever before... and the end completed with a chocolate icecream 🍦. This is one of the best restaurants to be experienced yes its too costly but the taste really justifies the money 💰.
Mahitha Jaganathan
You would get very good food and quantity but it's overpriced. Else I would have rated 5 stars. Ambience wise there is nothing to do there.
Lasagne Spinach with ricotta cheese is the best out there..

On the go is a perfect place for a romantic dinner or a family dining. The quality and quantity of food is amazing . Don’t forget to try bbq chicken and 167 OTG Drink and Chicken Briyani no words to say it’s just Awesome . Loved it...❤️

Situated amidst an unexpected neighbourhood, on the go is a delightful place to be. I was in Coimbatore for a month and only heard about one place called "That's Y Food", after visiting That's Y Food, I got to know that they have another restaurant with name On The Go, which is actually walkable distance from my stay so one fine evening we decided to explore the place. A restaurant synonymous with quality, consistency and sustainability. It was a very charming and cosy restaurant with cute n sophisticated interiors. The staff was very well behaved and made us feel welcomed. Yes. It is a bit on the pricey side. But its good outing destination for celebrations or for a hustle free evening!

The food was wonderful in taste and satisfying in quantity, you do have to be careful though because you WILL tend to overeat. We did the same time. Ate couple of dish more than we expected, purely because it tasted good. Must try it their deserts where they have wide range, their very famous Mud Souffl. It did make some beautiful memories of Coimbatore for us and would love to revisit someday! Thanks for the lovely experience!

Food was so-so and terribly priced taking into consideration the mediocre ambiance and service. Talking about service, it is something they have to work on as I remember this manager who had a hard time smiling and was giving a cold stare as if I made a mistake of walking into this joint earlier this October. The waiters look lost apart from their hostility. Service is important as people go for fine dining for the experience apart from the food. Would not go there another time and I recommend the same for anyone who wants to go to 'On the go'!

Had an amazing time there. Must have is the honey chilli potatoes and the Mud souffles as it would be a sin to leave without having those...

After multiple visits to this place I am more than convinced that it is a 5. True to what the cover of the Menu says the food is prepared from good ingredients and with great care. The menu is well crafted and has something for every palate, every dish we ordered stood out. Service is excellent.

On the go is a perfect place for a romantic dinner or a family dining. The Ambience is very beautiful and serene (5/5)

The quality of food is just amazing. They offer a huge variety of selection in their multi-cuisine menu. The spaghetti in ricotta cheese is my all my favourite at this place. It's absolutely the cheese heaven. The indian starters are amazing as well. (5/5)

Staffs are very friendly and service is great (5/5)
Priya
The food is appetizing and they have good portions..
The naan are amazing
Honey chilli potatoes and the spinach and ricotta cheese lasagne is the best...
There are a lot of vegetarian options

Always have a good time at On the Go! Delicious, nicely made food and very good serving size. Love their Nachos and corn starter, and their veg biryani never disappoints.

Went for dinner treat with my friends. Such a horrible experience! The shish tauk was so bad, can't even taste it. This place is definitely not worth our money. Only good thing I would say is the dessert part. It was like a good end to a sad story! But again my view is that it's too costly for a city like Coimbatore still.

A restaurant synonymous with quality, consistency and sustainability. Myself and my friends frequent the venue.
It’s a go to for any occasion. A safe bet and an assurance that the fold will be of good standard and taste.

However, please partner with ZOMATO GOLD. It will great increase the foot fall in your restaurant.

Looking forward to On the Go and That’s Y Food in the Gold Partner list of Zomato.

A small gem in the nook of race course road. They serve authentic north Indian food and international desserts. Service is also good. Your go to place for butter chicken, I haven’t had as tasty butter chicken in Delhi as the one I had here. Kudos team!

Hidden in a common place like race course this was a suprise restaurant!!!
Located near Tim's
Great ambiance the staffs are super friendly
Ordered the indian platter first time it was well assembled and looked gorgeous although the grill was half cooked
The second time the food assembly was not good in the indian platter and the the chicken was not as good
Ps the ferrero rocher cake was awesomely delicious even though its overpriced for a slice 😅😅
Avinash Ayilliath
Food is good but quantity very less only 6 peices for re400..bad service you should improve on it and provide more quantity next time to whosoever you deliver the particular dish to. The chicken curry is question is murgh malai.

An Impressive Name of the Hotel where I went to Have Some Different type of Cuisine at one place and it happened .. great
.Good Ambience. Please Make a Bit Improvisation in the Infrastructure..

This was one of the OG fine dines in Coimbatore. One of our family favorites.
Yes. It is a bit on the pricey side. But this is my family's fave destination for celebrations!
Although I haven't been there in a while, I still felt the need to add a review for all the wonderful memories we've created at On The Go.

I can't pinpoint a specific dish, but we tried pretty much all of them! It was always a busy place so make sure to book a table in advance. The ambience is modern and clean. Brightly lit. Family space. Good food. Decent quantities.
You do have to be careful though because you WILL tend to overeat. Haha. I've done that a couple times myself. Ate a dish more than I could stomach, purely because it tasted good and left the place feeling like a whale out of water. Lol.

Jokes apart, I associate On The Go as one of my constants. It's a warm welcoming place that holds a special place in my heart!

Though the ambiance is wonderful the food is not cooked properly and above all its ridiculously priced. Was a total disappointed to the first impression it bought upon me and spoilt the good mood I was in.

Very good ambience and nice staff. Good location. Good selection of continental foods. I have tried Italian food and it tastes really Italian. But very costly and that's why giving rating 4...

On the go has amazing ambience for quality time and quick service . Coming to the food and beverages - my order was peri peri chicken , Thai spicy chicken and white devil . Disclaimer: I haven’t tried the main course to judge the overall food but with I have tried I was little disappointed . Thai spicy chicken was my favourite out of all though I wish the chicken pieces were cut a bit smaller in size . Peri peri chicken was served with fries which was unevenly cooked . I would visit again and try out other options .

Well.. the food was home like.. just like the pasta I make at home .. the ‘to-die-for mud soufflé’ just like the cake in mug we make at home.. and the drinks 165 and mango mojo... not that great . Why? Well , mango mojo was diluted frooti and 165 something had raw Apple pieces (fancy!) with hint of Apple flavour is sweet water. You guys have the potential to make the soufflé better guys .. ambience gets full though and the service is decent too..

Blue and White that pleases our soul.
this place has comfy cusions, broad chairs, and high lit tables. In bright blue and white colour combination with caricatures on the wall.
Food was great. Breads were of bigger than expected size. Methi Malai subzi the best. Humble and friendly service.
Price was slightly on the higher side. but considering the area, it was real good. Do not miss out on deserts when you go there!

I am happy with the prompt timing.

The mutton curry was superb.

On the go is one of my most favourite restaurant in Coimbatore because of their quiet, beautiful ambience and their amazing food. It is decked up with hues of white and blue and is really soothing. They have an elaborate menu. I've had their nachos, spinach and cheese stuffed mushrooms, panneer tikka, lasagna, pasta and a few mocktails from their menu and all of these are my favourite dishes. The only thing I didn't like much from the dishes I've tasted was the veg seekh kebab. The prices are slightly on the higher side but it's always a delight to dine in on the go. And last but definitely not the least, their mud souffle is a must have and it's absolutely delicious. It has almost become my favourite comfort food now.

As you walk In you’ll notice a minimal and rustic ambience with lounge type and classic dining tables all pleasing to the eyes.

Service is a tad bit slow irrespective of number of diners . But they do have their share of good and bad days!

Now, the food..Their options are quite populist with balanced vegetarian (usual paneer, Gobi, potato and corn.. that’s all you can give a Veg diner) and the meat options are aplenty and mostly delicious. Though they don’t serve anything thats new or quirky, guess that’s how Coimbatore likes it and their time Tested menu proves this..Satisfying portions so be sure to check when ordering.

Dessert- Their mud soufflé is BRILLIANT and so
Is their salted caramel cheesecake ( they tend to make you heavier in few bites so sharing makes the experience enjoyable)

Overall a neat place with a safe menu and tasty food!

They do get noisy at time , so be warned!
Kishan Mallik
I never knew Coimbatore had a very fine restaurant fleet. This place made me awestruck. Just an amazing place. I was there for dinner and starting with the soup everything was just amazing. Ended the meal with their very famous Mud Souffle - it was just heavenly :)

Must visit if you're in Coimbatore

I ordered 4 items from "on the go", I would particularly, like to write about 2, Rogan Josh and Kadhai Murgh. Well, I cannot remember the worst food I have had in a long time. " On the go simply excels in these 2 dishes that are simply so bad served with style. I could not tell the difference in taste as to which one was Chicken and which one was mutton. My guests didn' t touch the food ordered from " On the Go "and I simply had to throw it in the bin, even though 1900 bucks spent in ordering from here was money down the loo. I was and am flabberghasted with such low quality of food delivered...Zomatos service was good though, but what a waste!

Yummy place. Best restaurant if you are a vegetarian like me and want to try out something new. Veg platter and sweet potatoes are my all time favorite followed by dum biriyani. Excellent food and ambiance.

Ambience and food is good. Food presentation is really attractive and thd food tastes good. But the price is on a little higher side. Overall is good

Pros:
Starters are excellent
Main course was okay
Desserts are literally a bomb , must try the red velvet
Neat way of presenting
Service is good
Ambiance is just perfect

Cons :
Rate is too high

My heaven in Coimbatore. Whatever you have...Perperi chicken, full fish, OTG foods, mud souffle, cheese cake, pasta varieties, biryani types...you name it...all are fantastic.

Fron the team of That' z Why. Thai Spicy Chicken, Kebabs, Chicken Tikka Biriyani and lot more dishes are worthy. Soups are good too. Murgh Mirchi Kebab with Biriyani is a nice choice. Also try one from world cuisines, one from grilled section and of course the Tandoori 😋. Nice place and Ambiance.
Tushaar Vishnu
Disappointing. looking forward to a good meal. The lasagna was really runny and no salt. The other items was very average. We spoke to the manager the restaurant, they should up their game. The shef should seriously taste the food.
Surya Sridhar
Nice ambience. Good service and friendly staff. Proper no of items in the menu and nice varieties. The food today was really good. Especially the tenderness of the chicken in the murgh mirchi kabab. The best was mud souffle. Giving you a rating of 4 since the 2 starters which i ordered had very less salt in it.

A small suggestion - try adding other gravies in veg since majority of the gravies are paneer based. Try to add some gravies without paneer also.

Most important. Do not miss the mud soufle here

order is late and incomplete
I came for coimbatore for some collage asanment based on food around the street but this restaurant looks quite high in cost but it made the mind blow with the taste and the price which is responsible

they have transformed. amazing quality and portions too.

A well made fine dine with a pretty good variety to offer. An overall experience generator with tasty food. The style is almost neutral and the ambiance is fairly good. A must visit place in coimbatore

This review is purely service oriented.

I have repeated problem with this places, waiter don’t seem to understand what is been ordered.

I drop this place right at 7pm, the moment I seated, I asked waiter to get me one soup parcel.
After that ordered the meal.
When done with meal, asked for check and parcel; he came and say what soup. They don’t have any parcel order.
After i reminded, that soup order was first thing I placed here waiter reply to that - “ shayad bhool gaye” ( might be forgotten)

I hate place where you don’t get proper service, no matter how hyped the place is.

I was on a short trip to Coimbatore and was recommended by friends to try out On the Go for dinner.
So just finished dinner at the restaurant with my mom.
The place has an interesting look, low beams industrial lighting, weatherproof roofing and especially the Mario Mirandoesqye paintings on the walls.
Coming to the food , they serve Indian and Continental cuisine but we opted for Indian today.
Went with the Veg Platter and Fish Tikka briyani( for my mom).
The platter came with 4 different kinds of Kababs- Paneer, cauliflower, Sheekh and stuffed potato.
All the kababs were yummy especially the halwed and stuffed potatoes which were a pleasant surprise.
The platter also included a soft Rumali Roti , bowls of Dal Makhni and Paneer Biutter Masala.
Everything was delicious .
My mother also loved the briyani and the portion sizes were generous.
We were too stuffed to try the offerings of a tempting dessert counter.
The price for the briyani was Rs 500 and for the platter Rs 550, a little steep but considering the quantity and quality of the food quite justified.
Truly an enjoyable meal!

the packaging is really messed up and shabby. Late delivery too

Yummm: Biriyani (any) if you’re in the Sunday mood. Soups are warm and nice and creamy. Continental cuisine is worth the bucks.
Ermmm: hides in race course. Finding the entrance may be trouble for some.
Special: Mutton in biriyani is well cooked and so t tender.

Another high end restaurant in coimbatore. Concept is attractive.. They arrange dance show also sometimes.. Prices are little bit high. You can have good experience here..

When I was entering inside , I had some bad opinion of the architect and look. But when I stepped in the place is like a classy.
Perfect place to hangout with friends. Ambience is great. When we visit to restaurant, actually we look for service. Though the service is best I would say. I never seen anywhere.
It's not pocket friendly. Cost high . As the food and starter's is worth the money.
Siddharth Dhanasegaran
Typical hipster Cafe with Funky interiors and a large sized book for a menu.. Food is well presented and tasty although the lasagna I ordered was more like alfredo pasta. The service is slow though..

Our visit was to this place for lunch was planned and not On The Go. It was no disappointment at all.

It was nice cozy place. Service was good.

Food was good.

Peri Peri chicken popcorn was nice and crispy just like the humble fries that it was served along with.

Fish fingers with wasabi mayo was another starter we had ordered. The fish was fresh and tasted good. However the batter it was coated and fried with was chewy. So we really couldn't enjoy the dish as a while.

Our main course had Ajwain paratha, pudina paratha and Kadhai paneer.

Kadhai paneer was rich and tasty with right amount of spice.

Ajwain paratha had a good flavour.

Pudina paratha lacked the punch.

Portions were huge and we couldn't finish all that we had ordered.
The Random Raccoon
Pros: Cozy place in race course....my fav dishes here are Murgh Mirchi kebab(for d spice lovers),Reshmi kebab(for d spice haters)Mushroom tikka, stuffed kulcha, kadai paneer gravy,chicken/paneer tikka biryani all are yummm, Shakes- Ferrero Rocher shake z d best, Desserts- my favvvvvv Hazelnut Crunch Bar ,Mud soufflé,Ferrero Rocher cake!!!
Cons: The only negative is their pasta dishes doesn't even have a hint of cheese, they jus add d maida white sauce instead of cheese n adding eggplant in pasta is not at al fair...

We went for a friend's party, I have stopped visiting this place e I the recent times sine I have seen what they were couple of years ago. This time they also had a special chef she was trained in some fancy place but the me u was bad and the food was stale. The caramelized onion bruschetta was really stale they must have made it two days back k. The mushroom and rice was just that and no taste it was served as a main course but how? The zucchini and peas oh my God!! Just a ripoff.
Tha k God coimbatore does not have too many restaurants we are stuck with this place.

Great place to have a meal here. The ambiance is magnificent. The various pictures on the wall and the funny cartoons on the wall looks great. The food here is magnificent. I tried the Chicken Biriyani, Naan, Kulcha, Rogan Josh and the Kadai Murgh. Every thing tasted the really good, it had the right amount of spice and was really pleasant to eat. The main item that stood out from all this was the Mud Souffle. It was just phenomenal, definitely made my visit worth it. I will definitely be visiting this place again.

We heard there some food festival was going on,thought of giving it a try, so went on Monday for lunch. The ambience was welcoming and relaxing. In the food festival menu they were concentrating in European cuisine so, was very excited to try but we ended up with nothing. First they have given us complimentary bread basket to start with which had cheese loaf, focacia and bread roll with salsa, mayonnaise and butter. (suggestion:- please heat the bread and serve, don't serve it cold). So,we started with soups,we ordered for minestrone soup and beans soup, the beans soup was tasting like hot water it was too blend and the best part was there was no beans in the soup hardly we were able count the beans and we got only 3 to 5 beans in the whole soup and the minestrone soup was very high on pepper. For starters we had mushroom and leeks which is just sauteed mushrooms and leeks with chilli flakes and garlic no seasoning nothing.(suggestion :- try to stuff the mushroom with something it will taste better and add some herbs). Next starter was caramelized onion on baguette with feta nothing to appreciate about the dish.(suggestion :- try to use some good quality feta cheese, there was no taste of feta in the dish). Now the main course comes we ordered chicken meatballs with barley which had nothing in that no flavour, no seasoning, no taste nothing at all and also they gave us some mushroom broth with that (forgot the exact name) which was like mushroom flavored water, next was peas mash with vegetables which was good than the other dishes (suggestion :- please try to add some crunch to the dish which i think will make the dish taste better) and the last was mix mushroom rice with white wine was also lacking in flavours and taste. Atlast the dessert comes (forgot the name) ,taste wise it was ok but i think it was frozen it was very tough to cut with spoon. You guys have to work a lot in your food part.
I want to give a special mention to the waiters out there. They had no idea what the menu is, we asked one of the waiter which brand white wine you use and he said 'IMPORTED' and again we asked is the brand name is that, he said yes, he had no idea what imported means and also explanation on dish was not done we had to figure it out ourself which was what, the worst part was we were still sitting and we were not done with our main course also, they turned off all the ac and they all were ununifromed puted their caps off, sleeves were up just because their lunch session was over we felt like they want us to get out of the restaurant. Didn't expected their service to be like this.
Went with lots of expectations but ended up with nothing. But sure will give one more try one day and hope will not experience this again.

Worst hotel ever! Cost is too high and quantity is less. Very expensive hotel. Try to less the cost of desserts. Not satisfied with your service.

Mud Souffle for life. We visit this place very often to have a desserts served at the middle of the night somewhere around 11. Exactly when you have no other place to serve you quality desserts at that particular point of time.

Quality of food good, both veg n non veg. Parking space adequate. Interiors good. Serving staff needs polishing n fine tuning. Served wrongly without asking and forgot instructions, at times Desserts just ok, unsatisfied. Not much choice. Overall satisfactory. I may not visit again if need a fine dine.

Highly desirable place to have a peaceful dine. Make sure you've a reservation rather waiting.! I've been here thrice, and each time i din't make any changes on my order cuz its an enjoyable choice. Every time i come i would get an unforgettable experience.!

Staffs are very much helpful in making our choice more comfortable by their elaborated menu. They've a charming ambiance which makes us feel homey.

Coming to food we started with bbq chicken wings a perfect appetiser then Murgh mirchi kebab was neatly presented and tasted good. Main course we ordered Chicken tikka briyani which would be more satisfying for two.! Briyani was perfectly flavoured and the spices are exactly balanced and a perfect choice for briyani lovers..!

At the end for dessert we had mulan which looked tempting but the taste wasn't impressive.. And other one which needed a special mention we had mud soufflé.. A toothsome one by On the go.! must try this.!

Make sure you've a deep pocket, but worth the pay.
kudos to the management..!

A real posh and well established restaurant. The food is real classy. The service is pretty good too. Might burn a hole in your wallet though.

A wonderful restaurant. Food tastes absolutely awesome. Ambience is very slick and posh. A great place for a family and friends getto. It's a bit expensive though. Would cost approx. 1800 for 2.

A calm setup in the heart of the city. You would notice lot of family crowd for lunch and dinner. I loved their north Indian dishes. We went for a team lunch and we all loved the food and the minimalist interior.

The place was just awesome. And yes the Ambience was so soothing. After a long tiring day of work, the moment we set the foot we knew the experience would be enticing. Had a plethora of items in the menu. The seating arrangements were very peculiar though.
Food- 4
Ambience - 4.5
Cost- 4

It was a family outing and we ordered kebab platter and Biryani, which were reasonably good and in good quantity. What stole the show was "The White Devil". Had settled down for 3.0 but additional 1.0 for "The White Devil". The service quality needs some serious improvement though.

The food was alright. But the service was terrible. There was nobody to receive us when we entered the restaurant and we had waited at the desk for quite some time.

Would not recommend.

It's a replica of That's Y Food RS Puram. They both have the same food and menu and the same goes for their review. The ambiance is better here than That's Y Food but they hospitality is better there, never said they both are low in either

Amazing ambiance and very courteous staff. We ordered the celestial chicken soup, Lasagne, and Mud souffle. The soup was very spicy which was a positive thing as far as I am concerned since I am a spice lover. If you aren't for much spicy food, please stay away from these. The lasagne was disappointing since the tomato flavor was predominant. The Mud souffle was a definite winner. Absolutely amazing! A must try if you visit this place.

A nice place for a quiet fine dining experience with a quirky ambience .The food was delicious and they have a lot of options for Indian as well as continental cuisine .The plating was very aesthetic. The walnut pie brownie was yummmmm...would go back to this place for special occasions ..prices were on the higher end but the quality made up for it

This place has a very good ambiance and the service is quiet okay. They have a wide range of menu. Their pastas are good and honey chilli potato and ferrero rocher shake is a must try. The price is a little high and the taste was very good. Worth paying a visit.

It's taken me quite a while to review the restaurant but after countless visits, this seems the apt score.

Quality food, varying choices and cuisines and food service results in a great dining experience. The starters are unique in their tastes and tender meat. For Eg, The Tomato bruschetta, a simple bland dish has so much flavor in it. My personal favorites are the Grills they have. Well cooked meat in flavourful sauces served with rice and a salad. Bang! A proper main. And the place Is known for its desserts.

A must visit restaurant for anyone who visits Coimbatore.

Located in the Race course it offers an elite ambience. It was an early friday evening and the with less customers the service was a bit lack-lustre.

We ordered the pasta and lasagna. The pasta was very nice but it arrived a little later than expected and the bread served with the pasta was a little soggy. We then ordered the mud souffle for dessert, The ferrero rocher mud souffle. It had a divine taste and the meal was completed in pomp. The portions are quite generous and filling.

The service on the other hand requires improvement a tad little.

Pasta - 4/5
Mud Souffle- 5/5
Bread with pasta - 1/5
Ambience - 4/5
Service - 3/5

Always a fan! I mostly walk in for dessert but love the food too. The mushroom soup is rich in flavour and yummy. The chicken satay is good (will be better with more peanut sauce), the peri peri chicken was a little tough but tasted good. The mocktails are super refreshing too. Pasta has been my favourite here. North Indian delicacies are yummy too, obviously 😜. As for the dessert, the one that everyone loves is the mud soufflé. I go ga-ga over the rest of it; peanut butter-snicker chocolate tart, hazelnut cake, walnut pie brownie and the caramel cheesecake😵😵. The brownie and cheesecakes are a meal on their own.

Good food! And great ambience. Awesome mud soufflé but portion served has reduced greatly. The restaurant mixed up a vegetarian dish with a chicken dish. Extra attention should be given to serve customers with the correct order, especially for non meat eaters.
Vikram Vairavan
Chicken pasta was served instead of the vegetarian one we had opted for. Realized midway. Dint expect such service from a premium place. Disappointing.

A highly posh place for food I would say - for the purse tearing bill it comes upto. However the taste of food is exceptionally excellent. Beautiful location and mind calming interiors. I highly recommend the chicken biriyani here - it was finger licking good!
