Review Haribhavanam - Coimbatore

Gladys jenifer
I had a great dining experience at this non-veg hotel. The food was delicious, especially the Bamboo Chicken Biryani and Mutton Ambur Biryani, which were both excellent. The parking space was convenient, and overall, it was a satisfying visit. My only minor disappointment was with the curd rice, which was just average. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this place for its tasty non-veg dishes!

Chicken Kali Mirchi kebab was one of the best I have ever tasted. Their aatukal soup, mutton kari dosa and garlic dosa were so good as expected. Very rarely I have had such a complete amazing meal. This place will stay top in my favourites from this day!

I went here for a quick dinner. I ordered Idiyappam and Mutton paya. Idiyappam set quantity was good. Mutton paya was delicious. One of the best around here. I also ordered Bun Parotta and Nattukozhi masala. Parrota was well smashed and came in multiple layers. In Nattukozhi Masala gravy, the masala(ground paste) was good but the gravy was ready-made as boiled chicken pieces were added to the gravy and both were not well mixed. The table service is average. There's enough parking for both two-wheeler and four-wheeler. The cost is expensive.

Food taste was top notch. Especially seeraga samba mutton biryani is too yummy 😋..Egg kothu parotta also good. Very big parking space available next to the restaurant.. We went to Sunday. So much crowd.. most of the items are over before 8.30 PM itself. So don't plan on Sunday.

We visited this place around sunday 3 30 PM even at that time this place was crowded so, plan accordingly. We ordered mutton biriyani and non veg meals. The seeraga samba mutton biriyani was good. In non veg gravy couldn't find any piece.Few pieces could have been added the gravy tasted good.
Mohanapriya M
This branch is crowded always as other ones.had non veg meals which is their signature.. all gravies with the meal had the different specific taste..salmon fish we ordered don't have salt or spice..the biryani was awesome..chicken lollypop tatsed good.there was too much a chaos since it was fully crowded .we have to bear for the taste of food .lot of car parking space available .if u wn to avoid rush go early .

Every time I visit coimbatore thought of having food here finally my wish accomplished. Myself, wife and my kid went here for having dinner. First of all I'm impressed with outdoor Ambience and they got ample of car parking. Once we enter the hotel they got good ambience and neat, well maintained and interior is too good. Since we were not hungry ordered limited food only. Phulkha, pallipalayam Chicken and chicken gravy. All 3 items taste are really good and felt the aroma. Washing area is damn and they have fitted with Branded and modern. Totally had a happy dinner and ended my day with sumptuous food. Please all visit here and enjoy your food 😋 Don't miss it. Have a nice day. If you like my review, please click like button 🔘. Thanks, Sabarinatha.C

We had a late lunch here. Both veg and non veg meals were very good. Staff were courteous and friendly and service was quick too. Starters were also very good and portions were good for two. They had ample parking when we went and pricing was not too costly. Totally worth it.

Awesome hotel for authentic taste. Quality, taste, service will remain same everyday. Sometimes after noon few dishes are not available. That's the only disappointment. Other than this splendid .
Dea Babu
It's a must try place for Non-veg people. The provides a huge variety of foods . Budget friendly.

I ordered Mutton Briyani, Chicken Briyani,Schezwan noodles...and mixed noodles...The packing was perfect..Tastes Fantastic...To say about Mixed noodles...they include prawns,chicken,mutton,egg,fish...it was very good...Bit Expensive

Friendly service with kind

We ordered a bunch of rotis, Naan, chicken Manchurian and mutton pallipalayam. Chicken was good but mutton gravy had zero pieces in the dish. What's the point of charging 300 bucks just to provide gravy.

Intentional or unintentionall, please ensure you do provide non veg pieces in your respective non veg dish instead of plainly serving just gravy
Anitha Shanmuganathan
This is one of the best non veg restaurant in coimbatore. We ordered non veg meals, ofcourse mutton briyani and crab fry. They served dry fish curry in the non veg meals which was damn good. The quality & quantity was very good in this restaurant. But only thing is you have to wait for a long hours to get a seat during weekends. On the cost wise it is little high. However the ambience and service with pleasing banana leaves are commendable.

This place is definitely overrated by all means. Ordered for non veg thali. Chicken fish and mutton they gave only gravy when asked they said it’s mixed in gravy only. After showing faces he got mutton pieces which are literally legs. Calling paya soup as mutton curry was disappointing. Ordered chicken biryani which was super spicy for my standards. Ordered vanjaram fish fry which was good. Ordered mutton head curry which was bland. Overall dining experience was bad. Instead they can increase non veg thali price and serve better.
Karthick Babu
Ordered Veg Meals and received non-veg meals..

Very worst and careless people.. though the Zomato support is not useful in this as they are the another useless people who never cares about their customers..

I'll never recommend this hotel to anyone as their mistake is not acceptable
Gowtham Gopal
Special dishes that I wanted to try were unavailable. And the rest of the food were good. But nothing were stand out dishes. Grill chicken was dry... Tandoori chicken was okay. Mutton Biryani was good. Mutton Kari Dosa was too pricey for what was served.
Shamruthi Chandrasekar
For those spice lovers, its a one spot and it serves delicious food. You'll definitely come back for more. The service is good and the environment makes the customers comfortable
Manoj Selvaraj
Very bad service we biryani ordered but they are giving 20 minutes delay service. No one response instruction table serving also very very very very bad why we payed more money of food we are not satisfied totally waste
Ruchira
A comfortable restaurant to try the local food of Coimbatore. We had dosas with Chicken pallipalaya and Babycorn chettinad. The chicken pieces were quite dry and the masala itself had no great flavour. Babycorn Chettinad was tasty and had the typical flavours of fennel and garam masala. Dosas came with some excellent chutney. Good service.

If you want real southern spice and variety of dishes. The hospitality of staff is amazing. The way they treat the guests is something to appreciate.
The bamboo biriyani is nice to try.
They have variety of parathas which you must try.

Sindhana Roy
A really good place in Coimbatore for awesome non vegetarian dishes! They are just wow! Amazing briyani, mutton dishes, they have Kerala rice for meals! Interesting items in the whole menu! Must try for all non veg freaks out there
Anand
Myself, wife and my kid visited this place on Saturday 11/5/2019. First shocker was they are not under Zomato gold now. We ordered mutton Biryani, veg fried rice and Chettinad mushroom fry. Mutton pieces were very hard, Biryani rice was a bit dry and had pieces of spices which was continuosly disturbing while eating. Veg fried rice and mushroom was ok. They are charging a heavy price but quality and taste definitely has to be improved. Service was polite. Try the same dishes in Sri surya you will feel the difference.
Vikasprabakaran10
The best hotel in Coimbatore for meals, they serves special non veg meals and the price is also worthy. Also they have varieties of food items which was good in taste and also in reasonable price.
Navaneeth
Money is not good enough...Rate is too high...Fiod is not much taste...The portion are excess to the amount paid...They didn't obey the customer's instructions etcccc....... in my opinion haribhavanam is nothing...
The_foodie_duo
Haribhavanam is known for their signature south indian specialities. The non-veg meals has great variety and had authentic taste. Briyani’s are worth a try too. However, this isn’t the place for Barbecues and North Indian. If you crave for some delicious south indian food, This place is for you! :)
Rv Santhosh Dhanush
I dint receive gravy
Devarajan
Very very little gravy given for all items ordered.better to provide sufficient for the items ordered.no option to select for veg and non veg gravy for each item
Bhanu
The chicken (Tandoori) which I ordered was a lot dry. It should have been juicy and Krispy but nothing like that was found in the order. Moreover the pricing was also higher. Normally you get a full Tandoori chicken at less than 250/- citing higher price in Zomato and Zomato giving discount is just a marketing strategy. If the restaurant had given the fair price and then using zomato discount would have made sense.

Hope the restaurant will look into this
Manu
I visited this place after five years . It isnt what it used to be any more. Food is average tasting yet exorbitantly priced . Not worth a sunday lunch after all .
Srinidhi Ravikrishnan
It has a good ambience and the service quality is also good!! The menu has a wide range of dishes to make a choice! The flavours are authentic and delicious!
Gurucharan Arutchevvell

You wish about having authentic "Naati" style food, Hari Bhavanam is all what you need. We came here for dinner, liked the food and came again the next day for lunch. Their mutton stew and prawns pepper fry is something unique that I had never tasted anywhere else. They serve their food in fresh banana leaf and this is desi and traditional to experience. Ambiance is typically best for a family dining. We are extremely happy with the taste of the food, except for the fact that one appam costed 55 bucks - which gave us a mini heart attack. Otherwise its a lovely place to have amazing fresh sea food and mutton dishes.
Sathish Sarathy
Steam rice, kottu, poriyal qty is low... Might be after changing paper package haribhavan compromised in quantity..need to check and improve

Pathway to Food Heaven
After all the rave reviews from friends and family alike, we decided to head to Hari Bhavanam with lots of expectations.
We entered Hari Bhavanam for lunch were quickly escorted to our seats though the place was full to the brim. (Service is really quick). The ambience is done up tastefully with modern lighting and spacious interiors. We looked around and were happy to see food being served in plantain leaves (1 thumbs up for being environmentally friendly). We were 3 of us and all being hard-core non vegetarians, we decided to order various varieties of non-vegetarian fare. I went for the chicken biriyani and prawn pepper fry (i usually love to have a taste of biriyanis in different states), the co-partners ordered non-veg meals along with Fish fry ( 2 varieties -tava fry and deep fry - both king fish).
Meals and biriyani both arrived without having to wait. The meal is accompanied with a cup of leg-soup (paya), unlimited mutton curry and chicken curry.
The Fish-fry was well done and was thoroughly enjoyed by us.
I intend to describe the chicken biriyani in this separate section as it deserves all the praise it can garner. Simply put, it was well cooked, amply spiced, mouth-wateringly melt-in-your-mouth delectable. If you really are a biriyani fan, make sure you don't miss out on this if you are in Coimbatore.
The prawns were fresh off the boat, extremely tender and amazingly cooked. A definite slurpy affair, this!

What surprised us was the final bill! it was a small percentage of the actual amount had you ordered the same stuff in bangalore!

Heavy on your stomach without burning a hole in your pocket kind of place.

Must-try:
Mutton/chicken biriyani
Fish fry
Prawn fry
Manju
Good family restaurant. I suppose the place is more famous for non-veg food...but me being veg, had a veg pulao and Dal fry. Liked the food and the non-vegetarians with me liked their food too :)... courteous staff. Recommend to visit.
Boopathy Murugavel
Very tasty, orders are served quick and fast. Main drawbacks are the crowd which makes you wait most of the time to get a seat and second, the lack of privacy ,since due to lot of people waiting, sometimes u have to eat in same table with strangers. A great place for South Indian food lovers
Navin Kumar
I have been coming to the place last 3 years. Some this branch is open. They have 4 branches in COIMBATORE. The food is too too good. Excellent service. The food you eat is like home made. Staff and very helpful. Speed service. And well maintained toilets. Price is reasonable. The non veg food is the mouth watering. Must try.
Naveeck
Very good food.. Kind service and customer friendly attitude from the restraunt makes you comfortable. And am a long time customer of Haribhavanam
Gautham Ram
The food was so appetizing and the flavour treats your tummy. Haribhavanam is definitely the tase of Coimbatore. Do try Briyani it worth spending bucks.
Saisrikrishna
They treat zomato gold members like beggars. They violate the rules of zomato gold. Once I went there with my friend and ordered a dish on the regular menu and wanted the same dish on 1+1. The restaurant servers were impolite and rude!
Then later they said it was not available and tried to cheat us by suggesting the dishes not available on gold without any information. Then later when I called them, they said gold could not be applied.
Shishir Belur
Best place for typical south Indian cuisine (especially non veg) in Coimbatore. Food is served on a banana leaf which gives it even more traditional feels.
Soman Babu
Had lunch at this place. The ambients were good and chicken biryani was tasting good. But cost wise still I am not compromised! Location of the restaurant is easy to access.
Sukdev Arulmozhi
A good non veg food chain in coimbatore who has the uniquness in the authentic coimbatore cuisine with wide varieties of foods spiced at right proportion
Naveen Chandran
My long awaited wait finally came to an end. We group of 4 went for lunch lunch and the restaurant was packed and we found some nice seats. we wanted to try the Nattu kozhi fry but it was unavailable at that time, instead we had frill chicken full and it was top notch and gave a rush to the head. Finally that Ice beeda was a nice touch for the food and left with a great taste in our mouth.
Srubee
The place to indulge in some tasty food in Coimbatore. Friendly staffs, hygienic and the food is really yummy. From tandoori to biriyani every item is deliciously prepared.
Kavya Mohan
The food here tastes amazing. I tried the butter paniyarams which were very soft and delicious. The chicken Chintamani and parotta was great to taste and the ghee roast is a must try. Karandy omelette were good too.
Ramya Shiva
We ordered fish fingers for starters and parotta and butter chicken masala for the main course, I loved the butter chicken masala, it was so delicious. No doubt why haribhavanam has its own fans !
Bhuvanvignesh Vengurlekar
Being a half Tamilian , South Indian food is something is always something which is in the blood and I really fancy it, you know it how much we love parotta salna. Tried my hands on the chicken Chintamani and chicken karakudi along with parota salna. It was lit! Perfect food pre gig. This place is really huge with some amazing staff who entertained my broken Tamil.
Neha Karra
To good staff friendly and cooperative very understanding can communicate in Hindi. Ambience is good well maintained, decor is appealing. Its worth going again and again
Walmik Vaidya
Great food..helpful staff..no frills desi chicken and surmai fry go well with wheat parotha. Accompanying gravies add to the bite...HB needs to be in Mumbai too
Sourav
Not happy with the service. Our order was taken late. And we got our main course before papad and buttermilk. Will not go to this place in the future.
Aadhith Kumaran
The only place where I heard that almost all the items In the menu was over by 1pm. And the service in this branch alone is very. I've been to other outlets, never seen a bad service like this!!
Rishhanth Maanav V
Great food, authentic Coimbatore cuisine. Went there after a hectic day for lunch. I tried their Chicken Briyani. The flavour was awesome. Rice and Chicken was cooked properly. Their service is very fast and neat. Prices are a bit high but good value for money.
Sonu Lal
very bad delivery , took almost an hour , packing was very poor used cheap plastic pouch ... ordered a non veg meals few items were missing as mentioned in swiggy.
All-time-famished!!!!
Its the first place I had visited for lunch. We were super hungry and this place was like a savior standing tall with ample parking space. The security is friendly, just for your information.

We chose for a takeaway since the hotel was jammed with crowd. We ordered chicken fried rice, chicken 65, veg & non veg meals. We also got one set of idly and dosa for my sick friend.

Overall taste was awesome. Meals were delicious. Non veg meals doesnt have chicken or fish pieces.. But the taste was OK. We didn't like the fish curry. It smelled fish so no one really enjoyed the non veg meals..

Idly were super soft, fried rice was too delicious. Chicken was outstanding.. Only non veg meals were not our type.

They have seating area for the takeaway customers which is a plus.
Shrrivatsan Paramasivam
Although a expensive restaurant they provide very good and hygienic food! Especially I loved that chicken tangri kebab!! And also the bun parota which was so good,!!
AKD
Hmm good to have a team lunch & dinner.
Good parking space.
Good service but they should deliver the order Little bit quick.
Good southindian cuisine.
Karandi omelet is very special here...
Rusha Sarkar
Awesome food. We ordered mutton biryani and mutton dosa. Both were delicious. Prices also reasonable. Staff are also friendly. We love the food.
Ramya
This is one of my favourite place to have Non veg meal..as a fishytarian for nearly 17 years... I started to pick this shop for my fish meals....one bucket of 🎏 curry is not enough for me....such a lovely taste... nd the vancharam fry...is out of the world. It is always a crowded restaurant !!!
Service is good. Price is also reasonable.
Navaneeth Prabhu
One of the restaurant should not miss... Even it pulls the people who is not hungry... Yummy unlimited non veg meals and a new unique recipe karandi omelet..Regular for my hungry ..addicted for their fish gravy
Gowri Shankar
well i asked for a delivery and got it on time 👍 and the food was excellent. ordered for chicken 65 , chicken and mutton briyani, chicken lollypops, Chicken pallipalayam gravy and some rice.. satisfied with what i was delivered with..
Sruthii_Radhakrishnan
This please is quite authentic and has a traditional taste in its dishes. They serve all type of cuisines and the service is good.It is way too much crowded during weekends and you have to wait for a long time.
Sruthi Suresh
This is the most crowded restaurant that I have been to in coimbatore! Hence its quiet noisy as well! Its an above average restaurant! Pepper chicken and fried rice are my favourites from their menu! Major drawback is that the dishes I order are mostly unavailable all the time! 🙊 They have timing allotted for each dishes, so before that time there is no chance that you are gonna get it! 😬 There was this prawns fry which I had once from this place and it was pretty good as well!
Sanjay Punjabi
A premium and a more refined place than my earlier adventure.

The best thing I like is the custom of serving food on plantain leaf. The large green leaf spread out in front of you, and also the advice of showering it with water drops to clean it, being insisted to you, gives it a sort of pious ambiance.

The full meal is an awesome affair - you get a large mound of rice - unlimited. You get a chutney, you get a carrot beans veggie. And then there are five mini buckets brought over - one with fish curry, one with mutton curry, one with chicken curry, one with Rasam, and one with veg kurma. Then there is a fried papaddam, there is a bowl of curds and a bowl of payasam. Unbelievable.

We were three of us and we also called for two chapattis for me (but natural), and a fillet of pan seared surmai (ruddy, with a chilli coconut paste lightly brushed over it), and a dish of Chicken 65 (which was nothing like the Chicken 65 we Bombayites are used to). But a delight in its own way.

They failed miserably on the Fresh lime soda front - completely flat and over sweet. But the earlier food completely overshadowed this peccadillo.

My day was made. Full marks.
Haika
Nothing less than Delicious.

The home delivery is delivered in microwave safe bowls. The food might be a little less budget friendly, but the flavours and quantity definitely make up for that.

One of my favorites.
Diyanesh Vijayaraghavan
Enjoyed every dish there! Really good one! Service was really quick and neat! Cost was little high!
Must try: Maandhal fish, Mutton Biryani, Brownie with Icecream!
Ambience - 3.5
Food - 4.5
Service - 4.5
Cost - 3.5
Arijit Das
Strange experience as a single person planning to eat lunch here. At first they we're unable to locate a table for me and asked me to share one with some stranger. Very unusual for any decent restaurant. Nevertheless after several minutes they seated me at a 4 seater and handed me their menu. No sooner than I started placing my order than another waiter came up to me and asked me to switch to a 2-seater or wait till one was available. This kind of service is not just unheard of in any decent restaurant but is a league apart by any standards. Really really shameful. Shameful.
Jaya Vishnu Kumar
Nice place for party dining as well as family dining. Apart from biriyani, Naatu kozhi pepper fry, chilli chicken and other authentic chettinad dishes they excel in all cuisines so this place is a safe bet for chinese, north indian as well as south Indian food. Recommended.
Jasima Suffli
Good food and great service. I felt a bit of more spice in it, never mind the taste is good. Biriyani and mutton gravy is good and can be tested.
Sankar Natarajan
A good hotel in Peelamedu for their unlimited meals. I have tried unlimited meals, Mutton Briyani , Nattu Kozhi varuval and their Parota in many occasions. Though the items are over priced, must try place for the spicy and Southern masala taste. Ambience and Service is always good here in all my visits.
Hungry Panda
exceptional service and fantastic food.. must try list are... karandi omelette, parotta and Nalli, kola and of course their biryani.. parottas are soft, fluffy and big.. jus loved it with nalli.. a must try in coimbatore
Ezhiil E
Worst customer service, had been a customer for few years and recently ordered a rabbit fry on the menu..it had only 6 to 8 pieces that too with bone they charged 250.

When complained to the manager no actions were taken and the manager insists on making a post on FB and what's app, so as it will be rectified. 🤔
Was charged for it, even after the complaints.
Apart from this the actions
of the supervisor was worst.

Please think before visiting there.
Oviya
A visit to Coimbatore after years and the lunch here made it even more special! We had their pepper chicken, plain biriyani , karandi omelette and water melon juice. That pepper chicken completely stood out and was 💥! Paid ₹488 for all these and it was quite decent.
Vp Ganesh
Very poor ambience , poor lighting and decoration making the visit stressful . Very old thinking in design and food is very old fashioned and serving staff lion illiterate
Foodie
Went here for a quick dinner and ordered prawn pulao, chicken 65 and masala omelet. They were decent - only complaint is they were spicier than what we expected. Service was good and ambience is good.
Vanitha Divakaran
Been there a year ago and loved their ambience and food. Visited again today. Bit of disappointment as something is not quite right with the ambience , biryani was complete let down with little spicy and less salt. Dragon chicken and pepper chicken fry were Ok. Liked the fried prawn in the fried rice however the prawn flavour was not indulged in the fried rice. It tasted bland... May be the first time visitors may find it good but not the one who tried this place before.
Arya S
Had garlic naan & paneer butter masala from there... It was actually Paneer masala, couldn't find butter in that.... Garlic Naan was yummy... But all the time it's crowded like anything.... Chicken biriyani was average...
Ranjita Venkat
Briyani and Parota was awesome... brain egg fry was too spicy ... meals was okay with good taste.. moderate cost with good serving .. chicken items are really good
Mervin Joshua
Tried this place with a variety of options. Dine in, take away and home delivery.

The best choice to go with is takeaway. Come for yourself order the food what you want and bring it to your house and enjoy.

Home delivery you need to order way in advance as it’s not a feasible option, or order during lunch so that you will have your food on time for dinner.

Dine in is ok if you get a good staff, if not give a hint that ur going to leave a good tip you will have a good service.

As for the food it’s kinda spicy overall for my taste buds but saw some people enjoy so it’s a one man opinion. As for the portions they are considerably small for the price charged so for me it’s not worth it.

FINAL VERDICT - VALUE NOT DEFINED PROPERLY.
Praveen Natarajan
The one thing i love most about this place is their 'Non Vegetarian Meals' their chicken curry and fish curry is irresistable.. The price of their meals is average though you may find their starters priced a bit higher. Overall a great place to eat.
Architect Chandrakanth K
After having read quite a few reviews of the place we decided to test it out over a weekend. We were early for dinner and there was not much crowd. Chicken biriyani was fine. Chicken sides was spicy..
Govindaraj Kalyanasundaram
It is one of the best non vegetarian restaurants in town . Please try for wheat prata with boneless chicken . Their chicken gravy is the best in town

Had a sumptuous lunch on our way to Ooty. Nice, huge place. Staff is good and helpful. Ambience is nice.
Now let's start with the main part FOOD. Had the special veg lunch thali. It was really good. The food was very much to my liking. All the dishes included in the thali had the right balance of texture and flavour. I loved it. Apart from this we also ordered Mutton masala ( suggested by the staff), chicken Manchurian (for my kido) and parotta. I have tasted better version of these dishes in other restaurants. Though I will surely return on my way back for the rabbit fry.
Eas Easwari
delivered on time.. Nicely packed..easy to eat..happy
Swaran Kumar
The food was good , instead of pallipalam panner ,they sent paneer patter masala
Arjun Gupta
Was lucky to have this place right around the corner from my Hotel, and rushed here after seeing a couple of pictures on Zomato. It was every bit as good as it looked on screen. The Parotha was fluffy crispy and filling, and the mutton was delectable. Though I did wish that the Nimbu Soda's glass could hold more of the good stuff...
Bharath Raj Kumar (Brk)
Been here and had a bad experience. The served Prawns fry was from another dinner who had had been served with same dish and they refused after some time. Too pricey for the quantity they serve. Should really improve upon the quantity. However, The taste is excellent.
Karthik Rajagopalan
Wow their biryani and boneless are exceptional. All three types of gravy for their meals is worth the money. Karandi omelet was a a different side for a Chennai guy like me.
Aritra Bose
Absolutely delicious South Indian cuisine! Never been disappointed. The mutton and prawns with coconut chunks is to die for! Clean, hygienic and hot food always - a regular when in Coimbatore.
Jerin .v.john
Delivery reached 10 mins before the expected time and good food!
Daniel Aarush
The restaurant interiors look very good.Although the food is quite mediocre. All they do is sell biryani with the same taste and standard as a road side restaurant in a much higher rate....
Yashas Bedarkar
Maybe because I stayed on the outskirts of Coimbtore, I could not find some super authentic south Indian food.
Hari Bhavanam is a mix of good and not so good when one gets banana leaves to eat on but no Aviyal (अविअल). The Chapati/Tawa Roti was half cooked and the Rasam tasted more of black pepper tjan of tomatos. The curd was on the sour side. The Payasam indeed was good with me seeing shredded coconut in it, for the first time. Sambar would certainly be a ten on ten. White rice was watery. Though the cost of a Special Vegeterian meal is nowhere less, the food I found was not worth it. Hari Bhavanam was more about ambience but it was ruined because he had played the Surya Music TV Channel which was, atleast at that particular time, playing non stop sensous songs of Tammanna Bhatia and Silk Smita (if I recognised her correctly though).
Shwetha Sri
Good place for non vegetarians( I had vegetarian though -schezuan fried rice, paneer noodles and mushroom manchurian)..!!! Friends loved the non veg dishes there..!! Not really expensive..😀
Served in plantain leaves..loved that..!!
Hot and delicious food..south Indian touch..😉
Good quantity..!!! Great Varieties of dishes..😊

Navin Kumar
awesome.... best in coimbatore
Giridhara Raam
Crowded all time with excellent taste and poor service. People who love tradional stuffs starting from gola urundai to mutton nalli kolambu will love it, not for others. Non veg meals is very good. Parking is available.
Samantha Flossie
Except waiting to get a place to dine everything else is simply good. A place to go for a full-on chettinad cuisine. The service is always been good. Keep up the good work.
Ram.
While the food itself varies from decent to good, the experience overall is a complete hassle. To begin with they let you in after a wait only to awkwardly stare at the people at 'your' table who haven't left yet. Then they clean it for you, all while you're standing there with nowhere to go.

They don't hand you a menu unless you ask for it, so there's no way of knowing what to buy or for how much, which makes no sense as a restaurant policy. The entire place is annoyingly loud and unless you're willing to be a part of multiple families' conversation, you won't be pleased. To add to things, half the staff can't speak Tamil or English so there's a lot of vigorous hand waving and shoulder tapping all around to communicate. We asked our server what was in the thali and he stared back blankly so we just had to guess.

The food is entirely forgettable. The curries on the non veg thali are decent but unremarkable. The parota is a bit rubbery and the biryani is an utter disappointment. Garlic chicken is a nice dish, with a very uniquely Tamil taste to it and so is the brain fry, which was expertly done. It's affordably priced but the general ambience isn't worth the savings.
Reyna Shruti
Great food and great ambience! The chicken 65 was perfectly fried and I've never been more impressed. I also highly recommend the fried quail.
Aishk2
Very poor..ordered 1.30hrs back..wen I called they say already the order has been delivered..Lot of gap in communications between the staffs..highly disappointed vth your service..
Danniel Nimz
The roof top is good...food taste is appreciable but not excellent and all..Poor service section...For vegetarians..its a curse to be in..Costing is perfect ...Quantity is also good very sufficient
Big Biter
The non veg meals and the chicken biryani are the two highlights of this restaurant, if you are Chettinad style lover you will definitely like the taste. The white rice has a unique taste and the restaurant is definitely a worth for the money you pay.
Vignesh
Have visited couple of times earlier was not so happy but this time it was totally a good experience. Ordered sweet corn chicken soup and pepper chicken it was served on time and then we ordered vanjaram and chicken briyani.. pepper chicken with chicken briyani combination was very nice and the service was on time and vanjaram was having that smell which made me to avoid it.. overall service was very good and friendly waiter who took care of us in a good manner..vanjaram was costly Rs 290 which was not worth for it .. Very good ambiance and a good place for parties and get together functions.. Try it out guys

This place is easily one of the good restaurants in town for Non Veg Chettinadu Food. I've been here quite often for their biriyani, paratha and gravies. Their food has always maintained the same standard and it has never disappointed me. The interiors done here are quite simple and often when you go in they would play old tamil hit songs which is quite entertaining. Overall it has always been a good experience dining here.
