Review Burma Bai Restaurant - Coimbatore

We had a taste of their soft parotta paired with their signature tomato chicken curry. If you are into tangy flavours, the tomato curry is a must try ,but if you prefer something with a kick , go for their pepper chicken . The shredded chicken in the tomato curry is best enjoyed hot. The parotta's are light and fluffy and the accompanying gravy is decent. For starters, we highly recommend the onion pepper leg, which is pre-boiled and tossed in a flavorful mix of pepper and onion.

Burma Bhai hotel serves One of the best parotta and pepper chicken in the town. Also I like packed grape pulp juice . Reasonable price and taste good . Quantity is also good. Ambience looks decent and clean. Outside street parking available. Late night service is also available here. Attached photos for reference

This is the original, but it took me years to find out. It's located a bit out of access. The food is still the best, anyone who knows the location wont be missing out on the good old Bhai kadai food and taste.

Price is normal. More spicy. Chicken is too much cooked. Mutton briyani contains more mutton fat. Worth for money. But more spicy for kids.

Visited with a friend of mine for dinner. Ambience was decent. Received food in fair time after ordering. Food was hygienic. Grill chicken was fully cooked and tasted good, parotas are good. Ordered tomato chicken (shredded) gravy separately which was sour (did not like the taste personally).

Good restaurants for Non Veg (Chicken) food. Parotta, grill chicken and shawarma are specialities. Price is very nominal.

Taste Was good but curry was very watery

My review is based on Panner Butter masala, if you looking for panner Butter masala with little bit of sweet and cream,?! Which means never order here! . Because this panner Butter masala is totally opposite ( spicy Panner gravy & it's too much water in it., but if i order panner gravy and I received this means it's really good ). And my another order of Poratta is really good and gravy also good.

Ordered tomato chicken leg gravy and 3 Parotta. Chicken gravy was top notch. Never had this tomato chicken anywhere. But parotta very small in size. It was like 6rs parotta size.

Good place for parotta and kothu parotta. Biriyani looks more of Mughal style with jeera rice tastes ok. The chalna for parotta was ok.. Ordered egg noodles which was good but less quantity. Price was nominal. On the whole I felt it was just ok can improve more.

Their chicken dishes all are prepared with shredded chicken, and yes the Tomato chicken is a must try. Taste is good but the menu is limited. The ceylon parrotta is another must try. Try it once, you may end up liking it.

Loved their parotta and pepper chicken. But their biriyani was below average and their quality is bad for other dishes we ordered. Ambience is bad too. Don't think we'll be back for dine in anymore.

Pepper Chicken Leg was good and friedrice was okay. Need to improve on Quality. Their parottad and tomato chicken are quite famous. The egg masala or gravy out here is a good choice for those small Parottas 😁!

The porotta and the tomato chicken is too good. Porotta is one of those smaller ones so it would take atleast 5 of them if u need it to be decently filling

This place serves some good paratha and tomato chicken. Nominal rates and good tasty food. But not impressive with the hygiene. A bit to work on the quality.

Tomato Chicken gravy & leg was so tasty and good (their signature & famous dish) which is completely different from the usual recipes that is served even in star hotel. They can reduce the sour taste, a little bit. Chicken Biriyani was good and the gravy served with that was ultimate.This place is going a lot of changes. Must improve their ambiance and promote themselves to increase customer flow. You can definitely get the best taste with full tummy.

It's a very good place though the place doesn't have a A.C. or the high end amenities the food is very good .. they have this tomato chicken which is the most lovable starter and people who like this Sunday hang over can definitely prefer here. Coimbatore own iconic food joint with a very simple menu. While the name sounds to be a bit mystical they have a very simple menu. Food is simply tasty. I pretty much tried all their menu items however got bowled over by their parottas with tomato chicken (some what like chicken Keema in tomato curry). They also had an egg (kalakki) in a liquid form which was very tasty (not found in the menu). Most of their menu revolves around parottas and chicken. Will be one of my favourite joints in Coimbatore and a must visit.

Had Lunch with my friends there. The taste was good. But there were only few items to select from the menu. Was impressed by the "Ceylon Parotta" that I had. Economical and worth the money. But I won't recommend if you are looking for something different to try. Only chicken and egg are available.

If it's a dinner and all I needed were parota and chicken (usually its pepper/tomato chicken), I com here. No matter if i am with friends or family, its the ready to go dinner spot!

A perfect parrota place. The parrota's are tastier and rest of the menu is normal. ambience is not soothing .service goes normal. The mother unit is now moved from Nehru stadium to rs puram.

Burma Bhai Kadai Lost charm. I had influenced by my uncles to visit this place & during my trip to Coimbatore during 90s RTO OFFICE road and Backside of JM Bakes car park in the night.. Used to visit during GRD times 2000 to 2003...Shocking experience after a decade...<br/><br/>This place I had so much expectations.. They must do in a hygienic way and it should be better.<br/><br/>Their modification and their chicken stock used for curries..<br/><br/>Pepper chicken & Tomato chicken is soaked with Oil specifically used oil.<br/><br/>Highly not recommended..

No ambience. Don't expect service. But the food is amazing. Perfect South Indian taste. Varieties of chicken available. Tomato and pepper chicken is a must try!

Ceylon parotta/Nool parotta is something which pulled me to this place.I have been to their parent branch near Nehru stadium many years back,after they moved to RS Puram their food quality and service is at the same old good level.<br/> <br/> The parotta is very soft and it's hard to find that kind of texture these days at many hotels.Tomato chicken is cooked in a medium spicy masala with juicy chunks of chicken.Also pepper chicken is worth trying

As a foodie, all know the parotta n chicken are famous in this restaurant... well, this place doesn't cheat us on that... the parotta is very soft n fresh with pepper chicken or tomato chicken... and varieties of kothu parottas... well try it for a regular dinner or for a lite weekends...

Known for their Parotta and shredded pepper chicken .When they were located behind the passport office ,it was the go to place for all the late night revellers because they used to be open till late night and serve good spicy parotta & chicken, but this R.s puram branch is very bad, be it the food or the service . The korma is just too watery for any palate and its good only on some days .The egg curry is bad, as is really bad and you can smell the stench of uncooked eggs , even the parotta is not all that good. Its better to give this one a miss !

Burma Bhai is a place which I regularly visit after a late night movie. Pepper leg and parotta with their signature gravy is just mouth watering. After a satisfying movie if you want a place with good food and not particular abt ambience Burma Bhai is my recommendation.

Very good food, if you are pure non-veg.. Being a holy month I did not have non-veg and it was a okay visit for me :) my friends had parota with chicken curry n they satisfied their taste buds along with tomato chicken :) will visit again to try their non-veg., comparatively a good pocket friendly hangout :)

Traditional fare. <br/>Laapa parotha, pepper chicken and egg fried. Once in a while when one needs to get the calories loose come here. One just cannot stop carrying on. Delivery time is quite fast and it really feels like Burma has come alive on a plate.
