Had south Indian meals in the afternoon. Well cooked rice and tasty sambhar. Appalam was crisp and neat. Kootu was slightly bland. Portal could have been better.
The food here is quite tasty with a wide variety of dishes. Neat and clean, the service here is good too. But they don't have much space and so during rush hours it can be quite a wait, and feel very crowded. Highly recommend their mini-breakfast (warning: it's not "mini" at all) and their mini-meals (which is a combo of a chapathi and various variety rice - usually sambar rice, lemon or tamarind rice, and curd rice - along with some sweet). Their lunch is pretty decent too, and I find it better than Anandhas or Annapoornas (but others disagree though).

Yum:
A break from annapoornas and anandas. neat veg outlet at the junction of ramanathapuram.
Ermmm:
can get crowded and unpleasant dining experience very rarely.
Special: Quick service. Neat veg outlet. Some of the dishes here are unique to this place. you may not find them on other veg outlets. Worth a try.

Quick review:
Food: Tasty
Ambience: Hygienic and pleasant
Service: Prompt and respectful
Full review:
It was around 8:00 AM in the morning and I had decided to try their Appam and Idiyappam with Kadala Curry. They waiters were respectful and prompt in taking orders and bring the food. I was surprised that they offer customers 3 varieties of Chutney on the table as side dishes for any food item.
The Appam was not as it was supposed to be, but the overall experience was great. Definitely a place to eat South Indian food when you visit Kovai.
Must visit restaurant in Coimbatore.. 👍👍
Loved the dishes they had.. It's a real treat...
You pay less for what you have ..
Taste is amazing..
Above all "hospitality is too good "
Don't miss below dishes
NEER DOSA 😍😍
We went there for lunch last Sunday, while driving from Bangalore to Coimbatore. The place was quite crowded but we somehow managed to get a seat. As we were quite hungry, we quickly ordered for 1 full-meals, 1 mini-meals, 1 plate chappati Kurma and 1 curd rice. We were really surprised to see that the service was very quick. We got the food within 5 minutes and the food quality was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. And, the best part was that the rates were also quite reasonable.
Went there for lunch..... Ambience is not impressive...... Crowd was full..... We managed to get a table after sometime..... Tried veg biryani, mushroom biryani and mushroom starter....... Such a tasty biryani we have ever tasted in veg restaurant..... Heard that their meals is also equally good....
If u want to have tasty veg biryani means try tis place(though u have to manage to get the table)......
Must try place.

One of the good places for South Indian dishes in Ramanathapuram.
Checked in for breakfast..
Decent ambience and service
Hygienic food..
Also delicious..
Had masala roast which was pretty good..
Vada was not the best I've had but it was good,
The idly podi they had was okish and not spicy at all...
Poor choice of menu for breakfast.
Economic..
Check it out..
Have fun.

The best South Indian restaurant in the neighbourhood which has been time tested.
The Idlies, pongal vadais are something worthy !
Been a customer since childhood!
Just the ambience is a bit retro
Best hotel as always. They maintain their standard by providing tastiest, healthiest and quality foods . Ur vegetarian lover 😍😍😋😋must visit here ….. parking in 2 & 4 wheeler on roadside
This restaurant has been serving vegetarian food for more than twenty five years. The menu offered is quite large. A little bit cramped and always crowded. All the dishes especially the chutneys are quite good. Limited parking on the road.

Have been in the past and recent times. Can accommodate 64 persons at a time. The quality and taste are always good. Variety of tiffin items rotated on a daily basis. Morning breakfast is good. Evening tiffin items are displayed inside and also written on a board in front of the hotel.
Meals are priced at Rs 110 without curd and are served on banana leaf. A separate small section allocated for Tiffin too at the lunch time.
Most of the times this hotel will satisfy your taste and service. It is better than most of the well-known CBE based hotels in terms of taste, variety, and affordability. Sometimes, the service will be just ok, even with so many servers.
There are only two wheeler parking spaces in the front. Cars can be parked in a nearby area.
Best hotel as always. They maintain their standard by providing tastiest, healthiest and quality foods. They keep on updating their menus daily with any special items including millets like ragi, varagu, thinai, etc.
We started our dinner with adhirasam which is too yummy.
Chola poori is superb with Channa gravy and I rank 10/10
Idly is so soft with many varieties of side dishes, I would like to rate 9/10
Appam is ok because it was not served hot so 6/10
Chilly Parotta is not good as it was not crispy so 4/10
Idiyappam was good so 9/10.
Vegetarian lovers can visit here and best hotel for puratasi month

One of the best vegetarian South India joints in Coimbatore. Highly underrated, quite hospitable and very tasty. Whether it's chinese, thaali, tiffin, they always nail every dish they serve. Kudos...

I rarely restaurants that are 100% complete in taste, ambience and service. Arul Jothi is one restaurant that deserves my 100% They also had a tray to keep demo of all their special dishes. I personally feel that it is a must try place for all.
We went for dinner ,we had mushroom dosa and mushroom fried rice it was good 👍.
Fine place to have iddli best iddli in town. Other than iddli everything is quite normal taste. Iddli dominate with other menu. Always crowded. Little bit over higher price.
