A wonderful, small cafe serving delicious food and a worthy cause. A multi-cuisine menu serving Indian, Malay, Thai, Chinese, and Continental fare. We tried dishes from across the spectrum and were delightfully satisfied. And the service was warm and friendly without being obsequious. Well worth a visit.

Too costly for the quantity they provide. Undoubtedly their food variety and taste were good, but the quantity is very less compared to other asian cuisines in the city. Also high priced for the quantity.

Delicious food and very kind staff. Enjoyed the meal & ambience.

My go to place for a lite soothing food. Everything is like home made here. Try Soup and their spring rolls or Vietnamese paper rolls. Mixed vegetable stir fry is also good, try it with the sauce you prefer.

Visited Shivanjali cafe after 6years. Travelled 300kms to have food from this cafe. Quality and taste remain the same. Loved everything we ordered.. my friends were too happy after having the food.. the hot and cold icecream was a perfect desert in the end.. Vietnamese pepper spring role was very tasty...everyone loved it.

Nice vegetarian place to eat with family and friends. Their service is top notch and food is presented well. Love their momos with chutney and their south Indian tiffin items.

Outstanding food, so flavourful with no compromise on high quality ingredients and freshnes. Recipes are researched, perfected xnd executed with so much love and devotion by an all woman team. ( which explains both the love AND devotion!) One can expect the same good quality everytime! Shivanjali cafe is Coimbatore's best kept. secret. It is popular for it's Jain and vegan options that can be trusted. Also snacks that bring memories of what grandmothers made at home. The lime mint cooler, bean and nut salad , pad Thai, dimsum and Malaysian dishes are amazing. Even a hard core non vegetarian would change his mind about vegetarian food once he dines at Shivanjali cafe. Well worth a visit!

It is one of our favourite food place in Coimbatore. Got a whole lot of variety, priced reasonably, tasty and not at all greasy. It wS my mom's 80th Birthday and we celebrated it quietly by visiting here. Started with sweet corn soup. Then pani puri without a care of hygien. A friend ordered a pizza like toast. I went for a pizza large enough so got it packed. Then paniyaram was crisp and melted in the mouth. Sweet lime and mint juice was the right thing to wash it all down. My mom finished her happy meal with her favourite strawberry icecream. The best part is income goes to help under privileged women.

Some of the typical Thai dishes were a bit spicy. Maybe a personal preference, but I would have liked it a little milder

Good food but it's strange that the waiter doesn't want to serve

Slightly on the expensive side . But the food & veggies used always taste fresh .my favourites are spring roll & pizza toast .Don't miss out on the paneer soda & Milo ❀️ Murukku & snacks packets are also available & really tasty. The staff there were really friendly & helpful when my twins were throwing a tantrum.

Food was okay. Ordered pasta and dumplings. Both were below average. Clear soup was good

The Mee Goreng noodles is amazing! The vegetables in it are crunchy and really healthy.
I would definitely go for another. We had ordered Vietnamese paper rolls. I'm not a fan of peanuts in food but it was alright for me. The chilli sauce boosted its flavour.

Been here quite a few times. It's a small cozy place for a quick dinner. Food is mostly served hot. Soups are good and pasta. Staffs are friendly.

Been here for snacks.. One my worst experience, ordered sweet corn soup and panipuri... Sweet corn could have 1-2spoon, it looked and tasted like some rasam with few corn pieces, pani puri was again bad... Left the place dissappointed... Did inform the management that it was not swt corn Soup they didn't care.. We just paid and left

Good place to go for a brunch or late lunch!! Pure veg, very tasty, neat, courteous staff. Food is all prepared fresh using organic ingredients,no fatty sauces or mayo provided. Their sauces r all freshly made-chilly,hot n sweet and date sauce. There’s a handicrafts shop too that has some awesome stuff! Do try their desserts.Must visit :)

I had the worst experience at Shivanjali cafe. Had guests over from another city for a meeting which happened to extend to 1.5 hours. Despite ordering three pots of tea, amd an ice cream -we were asked to leave the cafe. I felt so insulted in front of the clients. Never going to come here again or recommend this place to anyone. So disappointing!! And embarrassed!!! I wasn't even allowed to finish my pot of tea.

Well I'm from Malaysia and they are definately not an authentic Malaysian taste but an Indian fusion I would say. They made it palatable for locals. Admire their support for women and single mother's. Bravo!

I love this place to bits.
I've been visiting annalakshmi hotel since I was a kid and their relatively new Shivanjali cafΓ©, really takes the cake.
Their Vietnamese paper rolls are TO DIE FOR.
And I love that their food is extremely hot straight from the oven. The lasagne looked so tiny! Bt the more I ate, the more there seemed to be.
Great quantity for a single person.

The waiters are patient and quick.
They accomodated my little cousin and entertained him really well.
I love their selection of dishes and nothing gets boring! There's always something more to try.

Ambience - 5/5
Food - 10/5
Service - 5/5

I am a regular at this place and I must say it's an absolute paradise for me, being Vegan. I love my veggies and I'm a big fan of their Malaysian Salad (replaced with tofu) dressed with Satay Sauce. The lemon tea is to die for. The ambience is cozy and artistic.. Haven't really had Indian food there, but I would recommend you try the Malaysian for sure!

The place has a great ambience. The spring rolls are a must try. Being a pakka (typical) spice loving South Indian, I reached our for the chilli sauce to match the spring rolls. Since that wasn't available at my table, I tried the date sauce, and OMG. Amazing! This combination is a must try.

Mee goreng didn't quite taste like the original authentic ones (atleast like the ones in Malaysia), but it tastes quite good - worth a try.

The ingredients they use appear to be of high quality and the food is freshly prepared. I wanted to try out a few other options on the menu, so I'd probably visit again.

Nice cozy place for a pure veg Malay experience. I am regular here. Their chocolate cake is outstanding. Nee/ Nasi goreng wih shitaka mushrooms are must try.

Malaysian desserts are well made here. Ice kachang is my favourite.

Food - Awesomatic
Service - good
Hearty satisfaction

Sabudana vada, brocolli cheese, nasi goreng toast were just okay.

Momos were excellent - especially the mushroom stuffings. This is available only on Wednesdays.

Chocolate cake @ 70 bucks is quite big. We parcelled this - tasted like brownie when heated and chunky chocolate when cold. Recommend this.

Beverages were free when we visited (some offer). Cold milo stood out and we ordered another one.

Good taste. Some of the items are too pricey though - some pastas cost ~290 bucks. That is too much for the ambience on offer.

I am very late to write this review I have been a regular visitor to this place and I have been requesting the madam who runs this cafe to start more branches.in the city. On the food it.is fresh refreshing and tasty. I have tried all the items in the menu and cannot complain on any of the food or the dip or the sides. I am not a big fan of their pizza and toast but better.than other non pizza specialities. I am only giving a 4.5 due to the ambiance and the space available. (it is just old and but clean) . If you don't like veggies please do not visit this place.

Need a break from Indian snacks? well, halt here as they serve their own snacks, pizzas, burgers etc. Though a small place, with limited tables, one can visit purely for the variety it offers. It is attached to Annalakshmi restaurant, which goes by the theme "Eat as you want, pay as you wish", founded by spiritual Guru Swami Shanthanand Saraswathi, this is not just a single place, but a package. Must visit solely for their concept of offering food as a service, and not as a business. They have branches in Race Course as well, apart from their presence in Chennai, Perth, Singapore, Kuala Lampur. Within CBE, only the vadavalli restaurant goes by the "Eat as you want, pay as you wish" concept. Do visit and support them. So many part time volunteers does free service in the evenings.

Had a visit to this place last sunday and worth visiting another time to taste other items.Very helpful smiling staff and the place is well lit and air conditioned. Tried Spring rolls, Soups, Paneer soda and pizza for two persons. The quanity was sufficient and served in less than 15 minutes. No preservatives added.Pizza was decent enough and had nice toppings with cheese. Not oily like regular American joints.Traditionally mix of Malaysian and Italian items and they sell the sauces.Had a visit to this place last sunday and worth visiting another time to taste other items.Very helpful smiling staff and the place is well lit and air conditioned. As a traveler .. I always want to try local cafe's and restaurants.. We took a take away from here for a party ... Delish food.. Amazing starters .. The spring rolls very exceptionally brilliant.. The schezwan rice was spicy and just the way I like it..the quality of food was very very good ! Anyone traveling to Coimbatore from a Cosmo city should come here if you don't want to eat south Indian delicacies everyday
