If you like tea .. try this place.. One of the few places to sit and enjoy Tea, they did a good job with my tea.. will try other varieties in my next visits. The place interior is decent! One catch… the location is not very appealing (no car parking) and stairs leading to the place is not very wide. Solution: order it and deliver it to your home directly at zomato

Warm and cozy feel! Happened to go on their anniversary day and enjoyed the fifty percent discount offered on all items😍 they had different varieties of tea , usual coffee varieties and pizzas pastas ,breads, chicken and veg cutlets burgers and few desert items too to munch on while sipping your beverages. The tastes of all were good! With a bookcase , guitars hung around and a pug around the ambience was between homey cozy and warm . Snugly fit in the first floor the don't have any outside views .

Best place for tea lovers. Over 60 varieties of tea to try out from and you get some snacks too.

A great place for Tea lovers ! But few of the tea varieties on the menu card aren't available for different reasons. Try the chocolate tea !! Bit disappointed with the burgers, nuggets and sandwiches served here. They were average. A good place for a hangout with friends ! And fits the purse too :-)

The chicken tandoori noodles delicious 😋 Small but nice ambience. Affordable prices is a big plus to this place. They also have 60 varieties of tea and I had one of them, it was good :)

I came to know about this place through a friend who was performing in the concert held at buddies cafe. This place specializes in tea, it has 60 amazing kinds of tea, definitely a place for all tea lovers. This is one of the best tea room in coimbatore They have wide ranges of teas from worldwide. Finally I got my decafinated tea Rooibos (southafrican red bush tea) at this place.

You can get the Best combo of Momos here which u hardly find in Coimbatore and never forget to try the chocolate milk. The guy who manges the cafe is very friendly. A better place an evening hangout.

worst place ever.. we visited this cafe a year ago.. they served us chicken sandwich instead of veg sandwich and we were a group of vegans... it was a disgusting experience... i would never ever visit this place again..

I had a bad experience buying from here ... My friend bought brownie from this shop . And unfortunately had a near death experience of chocking to death by eating this cake . The brownie was over burnt , horribly cooked and absolutely impossible for human consumption . So I would recommend everyone to try someother better shop as its not worth it at all .

I am someone who does not like tea or coffee. But this place has made me love tea. They have something called ‘peace of mind’ which literally gives me peace of mind. Buddies cafe is gonna go places and with Nirmal’s grit, I see more successful franchisees coming up. More power to Nirmal Raj, the founder of buddies cafe.

Located close to Fun mall and very near to Krishnammal college.<br/><br/>They have around 99 varieties of teas to choose from. I tried their Curvy Hips tea (which had Orange peel, hibiscus, Rose hips, apple pieces and some more ingredients! ) it was served in a glaas kettle, they showed me the tea leaves like smelling wine before drinking 😊 a sand timer given along with Tea so that we don't need to worry about brewing time. While the tea was brewing I had the Chicken Burger and Fries both tasted average 👎. Their strength seems to be on their teas. Tea was soothing and tasted awesome 👌👌 one of the best fusion teas I had in recent times 👍<br/><br/>Service was excellent 👍👍<br/><br/>Price - Paid around 260 rupees for the three items. All the items are reasonably priced. 100 rupees for the Fusion Tea is definitely worth 👍<br/><br/>A must visit place in Coimbatore for Tea lovers 👍👍

Decent momos!

So we decided to order a cake from here. It was delicious. However, since we’ve had very bad experiences with cakes in Coimbatore, we kept asking whether the cake will be good and on time. The owner said nothing but “Maam, we’ve been running this place for years” I thought those are words you can trust, but I was wrong. Not only had they forgotten the order, they actually gave us someone else’s cake after diluting the name of the other customer. It was quite embarassing to present that cake as a surprise, with all that messy writing and ugly look. Nevertheless, we weren’t given any compensation. Running for years does not matter, being consistent and true to your word does. <br/><br/>And another time, when we went in to have some nice desserts, they had nothing but brownies. That too they had it in the fridge so God knows how long it has been there.

Tea room providing vast varieties of tea to taste.The pathway to it is little low and also the ambience here is not that great.Its just as simple as it could be.Coming to food and beverage it’s exquisite.English breakfast is a must try, the way they bring up with teapot and saucer is a definite treat to watch and the taste is very delicious with a more quantity than you expect.Food is superb and the price is very economical. It’s such a calm place in busy streets with veryyy minimal crowd.A divine for chai lovers.

Sorry for the late review,visited Buddies Cafe last month with a friend. We had ordered a plate of momos,was simply delicious 🤤. Later had a cup of Sulaiman tea and a Japanese green tea (🉐🈲㊙️🈹). Just kidding 😜😜 I have no idea what it means. On top of all this playing Jenga made our time there amazing 😃😍. Thank you Buddies Cafe,we really enjoyed our visit.

Today I ordered French fries and garlic bread. So firstly the garlic bread. It was a single slice of bread with some cheese and grinded garlic gloves (may be 5 cloves!)! It costs 50 bucks!! <br/>Secondly, French fries! It was packed in foil. It was not even crispy, it was little wet and humid!! <br/>Management if you are watching this, seriously improve the packing quality. The plastic cover looked dirty!! It was disgusting. <br/>I paid 190 rupees! <br/>The package only had one tissue paper! Please improve the quality and packaging!<br/>There was no bill copy in the delivered package.

Ginger tea was good ,Chamomile tea was bitter. the light setting was dim . Music+ tv . Air circulation was bad. Not very clean . Not suitable for official purposes but a good time to enjoy. Enjoyed it. A good place for friends to enjoy with privacy. A little costlier.

Being in this college for almost 3 years now, I never knew about the cozy little cafe called buddies cafe. My buddies and I have found our favorite nook to hangout right after college. Nothing can make you feel better than the first bite of the chocolate cake that they have to offer. Two words SIMPLY AMAZING!! Iam not a tea person, but I happened to taste the peppermint tea and I loved it.

Have been waiting for a long time to go to this place and finally went there today. <br/><br/>Tried the hand-made green tea as suggested by the very own founder Nirmal. He explained the process of making the hand-made green tea. From every plant, they hand pick exactly two lateral buds along with the fresh bud. Then they dry it and hand roll those buds. Now you have to pour hot water into 2 gms of those buds and brew it for 2-3 minutes and there you go, the tea is ready!!!<br/><br/>Coming to the taste of the tea, this was the best green tea I ever tasted in my life. It was so fresh and mild and was not at all bitter.  The aftertaste lasted longer for about 10 - 15 minutes. <br/><br/>A definite place for all tea lovers. Once you get to know more about the tea you drink, you will enjoy more.

I searched about this place in zomato n took my frnd here. It was so hard to find out this place. Ambience is so bad. Thy don't evn have a proper kitchen. Thy did took almost 1hr to serve aburger

Was referred by close friend who swears by their tea. A very quiet place tucked away on the first floor on Avinashi Road. The place gives you a very nostalgic feeling of getting back in time. <br/>To my surprise they had over 40 variety of teas. Had the "Peace of Mind", a flavoured Ice Tea and trust me it gives you a small high albeit in a relaxing way. :) Had been searching for a good Momos place in Coimbatore and the chicken Momos here ended my search. Tried the Peach tea, Kaava a Kashmir chai and the way it is served, and the aroma are very serene. The best part is its not the dip dip of a branded chain, it is all authentic and freshly brewed. <br/>To sum it up, a great place to chillax and a Heaven for the beverage lovers.

Amazing place to hangout with friends! Wonderful hospitality! I remember a Sunday when they were closed and I  called the number on their flex board to see if they will open any time soon. After 10 min, the owner sent one of his workers to open the place just for us. Apart from the wonderful hospitality, all the beverages are nice. My favorite beverage is the English breakfast tea. Buddies cafe have always been a place, where I feel good silence and peace of mind. The teas served here are best in quality and a must try for everyone. Its great to know that the tea leaves are procured directly from farmers after checking for its unique quality. Kudos to this amazing tea bar.

Went to this cafe after my friend talked about it for days and days.. The first thing that struck me was the ambience.. Its not a regular posh cafe but u will feel the connection the regulars have with the cafe with all the posters on the walls.. With an attractive choices of tea u cud have a different one every single time.. I personally liked the cranberry tea.. All that for a medium pricing.. Having said all that one cud easily understand why this is a hit with all the college-goers

I've been frequenting this place for the past year or so and it never disappoints. Whether you want a quiet place to chill or if you want to have a small gathering, Buddies Cafe tends to all your needs. They have a huge selection of teas to choose from and the owners graciously help you pick out the tea that would suit you and your mood the best. Their snacks are delicious as well. Highly recommend the omelette. Also, it's one of the few places that you can sit uninterrupted for hours on end.

I went there after seeing good reviews on zomato and must say its really great. They have a huge variety of teas to choose from and the few i have tried were all exceptional. Its mainly a tea joint but the few snacks they have is well prepared and i couldn't believe that a corn sandwich would be this good. After hearing positively about his place, finally found the right company to bring along and I should say that we weren't disappointed! Difficult to find but as they say, treasures are hard to find too! Only after seeing the menu did I know that so many varieties of teas existed. Completely spoilt for choices here. Quiet and cozy in ambience, this is the place to hangout, have delicious teas and snacks and also be light on the wallet. The place to go for tea lovers in coimbatore. The cafe is located upstairs in a tiny commercial space and comes with a welcome ambience. The server is a pleasant gentleman. They offer a wide variety of teas and snacks to go with them. Donations in the form of books and board games are accepted, and are available for use by customers. Verdict: ideal hangout spot.

My search for the best VEG burger ended here..  WOOWW!! Momos stole my heart. Its just alike a joint in which you can hang out with your best buddy from the neighborhood. Great Work!!!

Awesome little place to be at. Variety of tea on the menu is a mind blogger. So many to choose from. The Ambience of the place is soothing and refreshing. Its location is nicely tucked away, kinda like you walk into a different universe. Customer service was top notch. Will visit it again soon.

This well run and super friendly cafe has an eclectic menu of tea for tea lovers. All the tea that I've tried has been very good and reasonably priced, but for me the Apricot Peach Tea and the Cheese Sandwich is reason enough to visit on a regular basis. Don't leave Peelamedu without trying the awesome tea collection at Buddies Cafe..

This cafe was introduced by a buddy of mine. I love this place. I use to visit every time I visit Coimbatore. Nirmal who runs this cafe make me try something new whenever I call for suggestion. Being a tea lover I very much like their menu. Good place. Exotic flavors. Moreover good service. Must visit for all tea lovers.

Nice tiny little place for college hangs not that taste on their food but they definitely have a huge variety of tea but most of it may not be available if you ask.. They also provide books to read which is good it's a quiet place too

A great place to come alone and have a cup of tea. The inputs from Nirmal, who runs the place on selecting the type of tea has always worked for me. He makes it a point to make us try a new tea every time when asked for suggestions. I have the habit of taking my friends for a chat here and they love it too.<br/><br/>I love the ice teas and I try a new flavor everytime. If you hear a bro somewhere around, it must be Nirmal. Chat with him to know more about what goes into each type of tea. <br/><br/>Economical, friendly and neat.

Best tea place in Coimbatore for exotic tea lovers. Fruit based teas are a must try. Could work on ambience a little bit. Their service is excellent tho.

Wow what a menu! The menu just blew me away! Right from milk teas,herbal teas,iced teas,fruit teas to savory items like momos,sandwiches,salads and burgers. <br/><br/>The place was small with just 4 tables. The lighting was definitely not enough. It was little dark inside. They should have put up more light bulbs. <br/> <br/>There was just one person on work when I went. I ordered peach iced tea and chicken sandwich. Due to lack of labour, it took some time for the food to reach the table.<br/><br/>The chicken sandwich had too much onions in it but tasted good. The peach iced tea was too strong. I added some water from my bottle,got extra sugar to make it to my taste.<br/><br/>When I went to pay the bill, the perosn noticed we have come for the first time. He asked how we came to know about the cafe. And he asked for reviews on the food. I told him about the iced tea. He apologized and promised to work on it.<br/><br/>It feels good to have your reviews asked about the food. Its ok that my peach iced tea wasn't good. I am looking foward to visit again. Tea lovers - dont miss this place!

I'm not THAT much into tea, but when I had to see that exotic menu, you just can't not like tea!<br/><br/>The place took us some 20 mins to find until Mr. Nirmal himself came down to guide us spot. This one is right opposite to Boomerang, and the actual entrance is through the other way through the smaller road by.<br/>The place is small and quiet that could fit around 20-25 people. They've put up an exotic display of books out there and got awesome birds and a fish tank to stare at! The decors are well done with tea bags hanging from the ceiling. This small place has been in existence for two and half years for now, they've got such an impressive menu.<br/>Coming to the food, 50+ variety teas, never judge a restaurant ( read cafe) by it's looks and size. We got to lay hands on 6 variants of teas and momos. For the first time, in this instant food world, tasted fresh Iced Black tea. Anybody who ever had this would never prefer an instant iced tea (ever.) Nilgiri tea and japanese green tea were the plain ones in the variants we had. A must try is their Kashmiri Khawa, rich with almonds, elachee, cinnamon, etc.<br/>Momos are the actual reason why I wanted to go here, but was not so great to brag about. Just goes good as a sider for tea. They are super spicy with pepper and grated veggies inside. Also not fresh :/<br/><br/>Here's why you should visit this place,<br/>Authentic, amazing tea, and a mind blowing customer service. We felt like giving him a hand help while waiting. The tea is made on the table in a pitcher. The things that's added into each variant are just so synergic and got in phase and enhanced the flavour so much, who could think about almonds in tea! I could see no evidence of any powdered stuff added, leaves looked like torn before being thrown in the water. I was introduced to what u may call "The Bro Culture" by Nirmal, the young entrepreneur who own Buddies Cafe. It truly is a best buddy for tea lovers. More than 50 varieties of tea at one place is just amazing. Though I am not a great fan of tea would like to visit it so u can sit and read books that he has displayed and to enjoy the hot momos he serve. U may ask, what is momos doing at a tea centric shop. I never asked him that. But if I say in Tamil "Eanga keadacha eannapa, taste nalla irundhucha. Adhu podhum"". What say guys? they are yummyyyyy indeed. As for the location, its just out side the hottest place in town. I mean just outside Krishnamal college. LOL.
