Review Shree Aksshayam - Coimbatore

We have visited this restaurant recently , ordered Ghee roast, meals and coffee ! Everything was so good , must try is their authentic South Indian meals ! Ambiance was good and well maintained.

The place is always kept neat and clean. Service is good and staff are polite. Pongal,sambar vada is good here. My favorite here is their chat items mainly dahi puri, bhel puri and Pav Bhaji. Taste is good and quantity is also good for the price. Apart from this their coffee and ragi vada is also good and a must try. In addition to these , we can buy sweets as well which are good and tasty. It is a bit crowded here and you may face difficulty to get parking but a good place for snacks and tiffin items. Overall it's good

Excellent place to have sambar vada ,dahi vada etc ,great as it opens early in the morning...vast variety of breakfast items to try with superb outdoor seating ,do give a try early in the morning to enjoy the climate and have hot served dishes..price is good for what they give ,give a try and you will not regret ,taking big orders in kgs too.

Very clean restaurant. There is only self-service here. There are many products like tea, coffee, juice, etc................. This is a self service food court,near to Ramakrishna Hospital Coimbatore.If someone is hospitalized and you do not want to have hospital canteen food you can come and have healthy, economical and tasty food at Shree Aksshayam veg food.

More spice added to the lunch, which makes the lunch not enjoyable. Meals cost Rs.110, and North Indian combo meals cost Rs.125. Services was ok. The hotel ambiance was fine. They have adequate parking for two wheelers and four wheelers. At the entrance, they have an exclusive badam milk counter (Rs.50 for a glass) and a counter for snacks and other beverages. Sweet section was located inside. Other than the restaurant, they also have halls for functions.

The sweet shopping experience was very peaceful with them they assisted us through the phone call even before we reached the venue..the service was great and each sweets were picked carefully and packed according to our desire ..good collection of choices they had...✨✨🥨🥞🧇

Have come here so many times yet felt like home cooked food , loved the ambience, the People serving here took proper care about hygiene, it's a pure vegetarian hotel , this place is also packed in the evening for their snacks and coffee loved it tho , will come again and again for the taste and ambience provided by them , must visit with frnds and family

At shree aksshayam I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming. I ordered the south Indian meals, and it was cooked to perfection. The flavors of sambar,rasam were so well balanced. I felt satisfied without feeling overly full. The atmosphere was lovely, with tasteful decor and comfortable seating especially the A/c dining. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food and great service. I'll definitely be back again!

Quality Food, Spacious Dining Area, Courteous Staff. I have been to many places to eat my meals, this interested me much to write a review about. Staff members were good and serve your food as you requested! You might be wondering how come I have tried all these items at once!? 😊 I visited Akshayam thrice in 2 consecutive days, first day - Uthappam- So good, the Anna served it as I liked ( Without oil and extra bowl of Green Chutney), Second day Morning- One Dosa, One Medhu Vadai, One Water Melon Juice, Evening Snack- A Big mug of Bhadam Milk and Bhel Puri. Usually when I request for oil free food, I was not given one as I requested, here they on Dot. I got my food served by the same anna both days, in Chat counter you would meet a charming uncle and the billing Person in Tea/ snacks counter - you would see a responsible lady who could answer you with “RESPECT” even in rush hours. And there is the important thing, Hand wash and rest room- Clean 😊 I visited the place thrice in 2 days and Un time, I have noticed they are washing the rest room thrice or more than that! If you have a work near Nava India Signal, Don’t Miss to have your meal here, its just a few mins walk from The Bus stop. I am sure you would be given a Quality food and service.

Ambience is very good after renovation. Taste good. Lot of outside space for snacks and chaat.. They have 3 banquet halls. But it’s disappointing that parking space is available for only 20+ cars combined outside and underground parking. Attached recent menu.

I had Pongal and Masala dosa. It was so tasty. The kuruma given for Pongal was awesome. I loved it. Price can be little costly when compared to normal restaurants but it is worth the money spent.

The quantity of food is very very low. You can't eat anything here cuz the taste of the food here sucks.<br/>I want to give a zero rating but there is no option.<br/>The serving is also very poor. Me and my friends could not even finish the side dishes because the vegetables are not properly cooked. PLEASE DON'T GO AND IF YOU GO, YOUR MONEY WILL BE WASTED.

Tasty food. Nice and good packaging. Faster delivery. They will have to add more varieties including Ela Appam, Sweet Kozhukkattai and all to cateer more.

The best vegetarian restaurant in town.Had been there so many times and have tried almost all the dishes,each time we go, they dont fail to impress us with the taste and service. This is my favourite restaurant in Coimbatore. Being a north Indian I never miss my kind of food because of the amazing food at this restaurant. I've tried almost all the dishes and each is amazing. their wonton soup is the best I've had. The only thing I feel can be improved is the quantity of food which I feel is not adequate at that price. Rest every single dish is worth a try.<br/>

The service was way below par. We went at 10pm quite ahead of their closing time and they had only one dish. That's it. Of the whole wide menu only one single dish.<br/>And that too was served cold and chapati half cooked. They refused to make even a simple dish as Dosa's despite of us being a big group of 10.<br/><br/>Also the staff was extremely rude and grumpy.<br/>Not what you quite expect from such a big place.

Dinner was at Shree Akshayam, Loved their veg dishes always & Hence its Sunday tried their special dishes but food was mixed good this time<br/><br/>Order was Tomato Poori, Onion Sevai & Elan Dhosai<br/><br/>Tomato Poori - Looks like normal poori, Flavour less may be they just add tomato colour! Bland in taste, Can be better for sure<br/><br/>Onion Sevai - again normal Sevai but goes well with that yummy sambar!<br/><br/>Elan Dhosai - Version of dosai where Urad was more than rice!! Loved this one 🖤 & Coriander Gravy side dish for this is yummy 😋<br/><br/>Total bill was 218 rupees ( incl taxes), Attached their Sunday menu for your reference! They keep changing their special menu for daily it seems!!

Really good food. There are separate floors so there’s quite enough space to accommodate people. The main attraction is the grab a bite corner outside the restaurant. People passing by can quickly grab a bite if they’re in a hurry. Their idlies were soft and delicious. Badam milk also deserves an appreciation. 👌🏼

We visited for lunch. service was excellent and food served fast. Paneer Tikka excellent, a bit high on mustard but then I am partial to it, like it that way.. South Indian Parotta was well made, not too oily at all. Mushroom prepared well, no complaints there. And unlike a lot of other places, we could get a masala dosa at 2 pm. reasonable price too.<br/>Enjoyed the experience. We asked for an ice cream which was not on the menu, the waiter offered to get it from next door shop!! Overall, among the best veg restaurants in town.<br/>

A place close-by and a decent alternative for Anandas. Located close to NavaIndia signal it has a decent parking space. They also have a coffee bar outside serving snacks and drinks which is a Go-to place for people who uses the SNR college road.<br/><br/>Service is very decent and they have an extensive menu. Kitchadi was a killer, Poondu kolambu was a perfect side dish and an alternative for the usual sambar and Korma. Their specials are not to be missed which changes regularly.

Sooper food and a good variety to choose from.. baby corn Pallipalayam and dragon soya were amazing and worth a try... Not much oil in food and spice level was perfect....

We were attended by a gentleman (I really regret for not have asked the name of the attender - he was lean, tall with spectacles) who could help with the choice of menu, usually there is a saying that 'Variety is limited with Vegetarian', but definitely one would need an expert assistance to master the choice in Shree Aksshayam; he understood our expectations in every department (starter, main course, dessert) and guided us with ease 👏 So kudos to the gentleman 💂🙏<br/>Typically most of the restaurants in Coimbatore serve the soup, starter along with main course 😁, but not Shree Aksshayam; they gave at least a 8-12 min break to serve the main course 👍 The gentleman never urged us (we entered the restaurant at 9:45) to make our choice, we had our ample time to make our choice and have the food. While leaving the restaurant, there was a gentleman at down in entrance who whole heartedly thanked guests for making a visit to their restaurant - the feeling is mutual actually - the Management, attender should be thanked for their efforts in treating the guests.<br/>Food: Now comes an important segment. Finally after a quick jamming session me and my wife chose to ignore soup and picked 'Salt and pepper Babycorn' for a starter, (naturally babycorn 🌽 will be a bit hard when compared to cauliflower or mushroom), it was a dry type dish with capsicum, garlic, onion, outer layer of 🍅 combo was great, we were satisfied with the starter. For main course we picked 'Aloo stuffed Paratha' 👍🍪 - 'Kadai Mushroom' and 'Special Vegetable Biryani' 🍜<br/>Shree Aksshayam is one of the very few Vegeterian restaurants who can make delicious biryani 🍜 and serve hot - biryani was with its all required flavor and texture, really needed a mention, (the other place where I had delicious biryani was at RS Puram Annapoorna - it was Hyderabad Biryani), the quantity of Biryani was really above expectation in Shree Alsshayam. Ended our dinner with Falooda with ice cream 🍦🍧 and hot lemon ☕ which were awsum too.<br/><br/>Finally the overall experience at the A/C Hall (first time at A/C Hall in Shree Aksshayam) in Shree Aksshayam was really great with admirable ambiance, great service, delicious food which made our evening a special one.<br/><br/>Keep it up Shree Aksshayam, Sairam.

Very good food..!! Love the soup, Sambhar and starters(especially the Manchurian.) ..too good..fried rice was really good..very less oily food ever..!!and the food was really tummy friendly..dosa was very tasty but not "really crispy".. adai avial was average..adai was little burnt..😑..!!<br/>Poori so soft and looks like they have used a good quality of wheat..so..poori masal was also good..<br/>And side dishes..great variety..!!!😀<br/>At last...the chocolate milk shake..💖💖💖💖heaven..!!<br/>So over all review..<br/>South Indian food-adai,dosas can be improved..all the other South Indian dishes were too good.. 3.5/5( Sambhar idly- was extraordinary )<br/>Others 4.5/5😀👍<br/>

Loved this place for dinner. We went to the AC restaurant and the ambience was clean and good, service was quick. They had a lot of new specials of the day as well. Reasonable price and good quality. Will be back.

Visited aksshayam for lunch, good food on the whole the menu displays 21 items for lunch from 4-5 poriyal, chips, appalam, fries, 2-3 kootu, guava Halwa, dhal, lemon rice, sambar, rasam, curd, pulikolambhu, chutney, payasam and finally beeda, for 100 rs. Good hospitality friendly staff.

One of the cleanest eateries in the town. I loved everything about this place right from the parking lot to the restroom, everything seems to be carefully curated. The food was also delicious and the service was extraordinary.

One of the very few best veg restaurant in coimbatore I have tried till now, service is very satisfying and price is very competitive compared to other veg restaurant in this category

The ambience and food were great. The food was also served very fast. The only let down is that the person who took our orders never bothered to give a menu card when i repeatedly asked for 3 times. It was irritating. Very bad behaviour. Would not visit again for this type of arrogant behaviour. He then gave a menu card which was torn in half.

We just stepped randomly on a week end eve to this veg restaurant(i was like..uffff..not fair to go wth veg...but nw i feel tat its great to eat veg too) Staffs were polite and the restaurant was overflowing so we were waiting to find space.. They helped us to wait fr 10 minutes by providing a sweet😋 (smthng new..not tasted tat bfr... I tasted karrupatti nd paalkova in it) then mom ordered adai aviyal , kara kuzhi paniyaram, malli oothappam, elan dosai poondu kulambu..all those kinda typical south indian dishes with a final touch of coffee(ufffoooo my mom was right.. it was osm).I saw many critics on their food, my sincere advice is to try totally unusual south indian food tat u hve never seen in any othr hotel menus.. Went there 3 times. On first visit tried chat items, they were horrible. Second time North Indian, it was good. Third time south indian meals, taste was beyond expectation. Another option for some descent veg meals in Coimbatore apart from Anandhaas and Annapoorna. Recommended for a lunch or dinner with family and friends.

Wonderful restaurant...best vegetarian restaurant in coimbatore. All the cuisines are good and the service is pretty fast. Highly recommend all people to visit here.
