Review Shahi Royal Rajasthani Restaurant - Coimbatore

We tried most Rajasthani authentic dishes... and were impressed. It was delicious....and service was prompt and courteous... good ambience. It was reasonable too. 4 of us had sumptuously and the bill was just over 1k.

Starters were not so good. Shezwan rice and the curries were excellent. Good service.

North Indian gravies were delicious.. Best north Indian hotel in coimbatore..

I am still wondering how can a restaurant not even serve masala papad for half an hour. Avoid this place, visit only if you have hours of patience.

Pls dont fool ppl with promis of thali! When i call fr dinner they say thali only in lunch. Then i went there fr lunch and they said sorry we dont serve thali in lunch!! Wat so they serve? Roti naan and tandoori variety - so basically punjabi..nothing RAJASTHANI about it! Dont waste your time with this place..

had limited thali the only good I had in thali is tawa roti basic dal curry is not good n rice is not cooked the sweet they provide is very hard kind n allu sabji whole pottato with out any flavour so totally disappointed but ambience n service was good but for food only 4/10

Shame to be called as Rajasthani food.They just named it as rajasthani.I haven't seen the Rajasthani thali like that before... it's worst....

Guys I had the most worst experience from a hotel/restaurant in coimbatore.....first.....the starters we ordered were not served and they did notnhave stock of the same and that too the "so called" the authentic Rajasthani dish.....then we had to wait for almost 25 minutes to get the starters....being a soup and masala pappad and finally when served we needed to search the soup for vegetables.....and with Masala pappad.....we could only make out about four to five onion pieces and that too diced into 1/4 of an inch thickness with loads of chat Masala and salt was like they were getting it for free......when asked about the same to the Manager/Owner.....he did ask the kitchen to replace the dishes.....by the time our main course was served and this time the rotis came in a basket and gravy in a small bucket....initially we thought we needed to eat it from the basket, since plates were not kept....finally we had to cancel the soup and had our main course......if the Management gets hold on these issues....maybe the restaurant has a future in Coimbatore....

The restaurant was found closed when we reached and the number was not reachable as well. It has been shut down I think. I wonder why zomato still shows this one up here.

The place had been shut down due to unknown reasons . It should be updated in zomato . I don't think they will reopen the place again . Anyways the food used to be good

After hunting down for the typical rajastani style food in cbe found this particular food joint. Thali is just offered for Rs 250 and it is unlimited. The theme is also very good and dont forget to try the Chaas. You will love the food and will visit again for sure

Been here on a weekend with the a big family group. They were understaffed. Soups were not that great.. starters was good. The rotis and naans were not so well prepared. Overall it was an quite ok experience.

Have been to this place twice. A nice place for  dinner. Service is good. In starters, dragon potato was nice, paner pakoda was like the one we have at home and dal pakwan was ok. The main course was a little on the richer side, but thats how rajasthani food is. Dal Fry was great, paneer dishes were ok. If you are fond of sweet lassi, this is the place to order one. Even Thandai is nice. one of the few places where you can order it. Overall a nice experience.

Great Rajasthani food, been here a lot. Probably the only restaurant where I've seen foreigners!<br/>Must visit for all those North Indians who miss the food and also South Indians. Dal bati was so great and you don't even get it anywhere else, alone a reason to try.

Been here many number of times be it for having a meal or their special masala chaas (which is out of the world btw) , Very hygienic place and well mannered staff who ensure that you don't leave disappointed. The owner as well checks in once to ensure that everything is all right.

New year lunching happened here. A good rajastani cuisine providing a quality food. they maintain a neat ambiance and played soothe songs made my experience<br/>comfortable.! due to new year this place was bit crowded and they were lacking of waiters so service happened to be so late obviously it took 30mins to get my starter. service should be taken care.! <br/><br/>firstly had shahi mirchi wada it would be a good treat to the spicy persons. had potato stuffing around chilli and then fried. <br/><br/>then had tandoori rotti, cheese naan, ker kaju sakh curry. which was good tasting. <br/><br/>and finally ended up with makhaniya lassi which would be the signature desserts there according to me.! <br/><br/>but then service should be taken to the consideration.!

Best place to dine. Cost effective and kind hospitality. All foods that I ordered tasted good. The best thing I personally admired was quick service of dishes. Have an idea of giving multiple try in future with my friends. Keep up this pace Shahi group..

A classic ambiance to have a cool hangout.Taste of food was far better than other restaurants in coimbatore at this cost.Specially Aaloo paratha, samosa and mirchi wada was top notch. The guys working there were kind but they must be bit free to move with customers . Very affordable rate, a must try restaurant. Surely, i hope it will hold a great place in kovai peoples heart soon.

These folks are new to cbe so i thought of givinbg them a try. Excellent food i must say, gulab jamun curry is a must try, makahaniya lassi is gr8 too. The aloo parathas here are one of the best in town i have tested so far. staff is helpful and service is quick. A Must try joint
