Review Biriyani Mandi - Coimbatore

The restaurant claims are more pragmatic, we organic as much as possible. The owner was in conversation on and off, discussion about food through out the dining time. We tried many items like egg paniyaram, kheema dosai, kal dosai, chicken kothu idiyappam, Chicken biryani and parota. All were extraordinary. chicken kothu idiyappam was special and great. The curry which is served free was excellent in tatse, most probably the reason for good taste of all other food

The quality of food is extraordinary, I liked the chicken 65, Chicken tokku with parota. This was very delicious and mouth watering. I didn't like the biryani rice served here. It was not basmati rice and the quality of rice used was not good. The cost was on higher side and quantity is not less.

Authentic south indian food. They say that synthetic food colours and preservatives not added. Good place for biriyani lovers. Chicken biriyani and vanjiram fry were good. Kitchen has transparent glass partitions, u can literally watch ur food being prepared. Not much spread for vegans. The sign board has small lettering, so better slow down if u dont want to miss the place. This place is located just on the oppasite side of the road where google maps shows it is

Love the personal touch and homely ambience. The biryani is very tasty and prepared with less oil and spice level is just right. Mutton thokku , fish and pichupotta kozhi and elaneer sherbet are excellent. Chicken meals is also good.

This is a phenomenal place. Great food. Great ambience. They are all about farm fresh food. A definite must visit. Pick up the spicy pickles they sell!

Ambient and service is superb, if you are more concerned about taste, experience must recommended place for you and for your information the charge your little bit extra when compare to other hotel. My favorite food vanjaram mean

Excellent thallaipakatti Biriyani and even the chicken curry meals are superb.. they provide good service and ambience. Quantity is also filling. You never want to miss this place when you vist COIMBATORE

Owned by my relative and food here is fabulous! Cooking is done with cold pressed oil and the taste is out of the world.
Karthik Ravi
Home made food. This hotel is having the motto of dedicated to all farmers. Interesting!...

Had dinner today there....food was very authentic and tastes similarly like olden days....eventhough food takes little bit longer to come to your table bt worth to wait wen compare to thier taste....bt the most important thing for an restaurant s pathetic......i mean their service was very very very bad....AC was not working wen we enter inside and we hav to ask to swicth on it,no water served even after 15 mins then we asked for bottle water bt glass was not placed....service people was very bad except the girl was very courteous and helpfull...pls improve ur service standards to occupied in coimbatore.there was no music inside the restaurant bt the wall paintings were good....overall enjoyed ur food bt feel like never come back because of ur service....

Through zomoto I got to know about it biriyani is excellent marine stuffs are out of the world. Step in and try pollachi eral masala the best. When comes to service they are proving to be the beginners and cost is too high for weekend food fanatic

The interiors are modern and chic. The decor is pleasing. The food is average at best. Service is slow as I had to call the waiter for the same stuff more than a couple of times. For the taste and quantity that they serve, I don't find myself coming back again

Giving this rating only for the ambience it holds in the centre of the city, the food they serve is of no authentic. The biriyani they serve seems to be like pulao and they price it too costlier.I also tried their chicken kothu parotta, the worst I ever tasted. I strongly recommend no one to go there.

This 2 is for their ambience only. I ordered for Non-Veg meals the cost was so high not worth. Everytime im begging for extra rice. If one customer enters they charged entire expense. If food is worth no harm in giving but its totally waste. They fooled me by reviews and interiors. Plz try to give some gud food.

Bad bad attitude. When asked about menu card they said they don't have a menu card that was a shocker . Next the female over there said they only have birayani and kothu parotta but after few minutes When I asked another waiter he said Dosa also was available this again pissed me a lot then ordered dosa, kothu parotta but kothu parota took nearly 25 minutes to come had to cancel it . Be ware it's not 10 birayani mandi it's a total mess will never recommend or visit

Nice experience. Ordered Chicken Biriyani, Mutton Biriyani, Mutton Egg Pirattal. Good food. Taste was good. Serving was good. Nice interiors. Nice theme. They have only less items to choose from their menu card. But all of them are perfect.

I was there almost at the closing time and it may be the reason that some signature dishes were not available. But what I have tried at that time is Pichu Pota Kozhi, Keema Dhosa and Pepper Chicken. It was great. Their service is outstanding and the Ambience is good. It means a perfect "Ubasarippu". I really want to try all signature dishes here soon!!

Food is really authentic with wonderful taste. Service is good and friendly staff.. I ordered Chicken Biriyani and Natu Kozhi Fry.. Both the dishes were really tasty and even the dessert were awesome pineapple kesari and brownie.. A must try place it is ❤

Excellent decor but disgusting food. Ordered for a chicken biryani and ended up getting pulao. The service is pathetic and the staff does exactly opposite to what you would request. The pulao tasted stale and we were charged 160 plus taxes per plate. They call this pulao as chicken plain biryani.

Chicken Kothu Parotta was excellent, briyani was awesome , service was also good, but many items are not available during dinner, Taste was good
I felt rate was too costly

We visited this restaurant on 6/10/16 @ 8pm. Following are the things which happened afterwards:
1). No biryani in stock(although the name itself is biryani)
2). We ordered three bowl rice and pepper chicken( semi gravy) and kadai chicken(gravy) but what we got was three small cup rice which is hardly enough for a single person. Also the quality of rice was also not good. Now for the side dishes- they mixed up our order we got gravy pepper chicken and semi gravy kadai chicken. Quality as well as quantity was also not good.
Nandni Kumaresan
Briyani was good and of different taste. We tasted chicken alone which was very fresh and well cooked.
Interiors are good and pleasing. They have a open kitchen.
Prithivi Anand
Excellent food, tastes very good. The ambience was very nice with lots of space. The hospitality was good and service was quick. There is place for parking too.
Muthurama Sethupahy
Great food. Spices are tenderly balanced. Cut of the fish is as good as five star hotel. Had wonderful food and suggest to visit the place with family.

Used to be regular to this place, but today decided to stop going as I feel strongly that the quality of the food has deteriorated... Too pricey and I am sure with this kind of poor quality and pricey, this restaurant is not going to stay long... Ordered for non veg meals.. they used to give good side dishes as accompaniments.. now everything stopped and the fish is not of great quality and not fresh for sure.. attached the bill and for sure for the quality they provide, it is not worthy and my friends also felt the same... Junior kuppanna or haribhavanam is far better for this restaurant.. they were trying to add one item which we have not ordered too.. disgusting.. not vfm and don't recommend either.....

We found this restaurant On a hunt for biriyani(seeraga samba rice) which could be delivered to our hotel. We ordered mutton biriyani, white rice, fish kozhambu and pichi pota kozhi. Pichi pota kozhi is trending these days in south Indian restaurants. Delivery waa prompt.
Mutton biriyani was really nice and the gravy with it(i guess it was mutton) was also good with the biriyani. But the fish kozhambu was exactly like puli kozhambu. The usual unique flavour of fish kozhambu was completely missing. Pichi pota kozhi was exactly like egg burji. It was not worth the hype
#must try: mutton biriyani
Shilpa Ch
We have gone to the place as it was highly recommended by one of our friend. It took us a while to find the place which is deep inside the city.
As we reached a bit early biryanis were not ready to serve so we ordered Mutton Kodithi Paratha and Chicken Meals. Both were just yummy. Especially Mutton Paratha, i never had anything like that in my life so far.
The food was worth all the effort we have put to find the place.

Was trying to find a new place for Briyani at Coimbatore, came across this place thro Zomoto & found it easy with google maps. Superb & unbelievable decor with fine taste of Briyani. Tasted their special "Pitchu potta kozhi", which will sure make our tasty bids to stimulate for food. Met the humble lady, who is the owner cum chef of the Resturant, must be very bonding with passion apart from money making, has given her max effort to the decor & taste. They have ample space for parking, must sure need to visit once for their taste.

Amazing place. Great place for eating authentic Non-veg South Indian food. They have a very good variety of non veg items. Some must tries are Chicken Vadai, Chicken pichu pota idiyapam, moru milagai kalaki and egg panniyaram. The waiters are very polite and patient. The milkshakes are also very good. Will definitely be back here for dinner
Venkatram Selvaraj
Must try this restaurant. Dishes tastes really good. Friendly waiters. Ambience was really good. Menu card offers only few dishes but they are really delicious.

Not the best biriyani in town but not bad either , though a bit pricey but they make up for it in quantity . The chicken and mutton sides are very good and unlike the other Chettinad hotels they don't go overboard with the spices and oil .Service is slow and sluggish but the food is good and it is definitely worth trying this place once !

Tried this one and found it wonderful. The taste was sumptuous. The chef deserved accolades. Brilliant service and cool interiors. Staff very friendly. Highly recommended. Experiment worked wonders. Cheers!

We have ordered chicken Kari dosai and chicken briyani. As usual the Kari dosai is outstanding and briyani tastes good need some more masala for that"dashing briyani taste" . sightly over priced food recommend for occasional eat out place with good ambience.

Quantity - 3.5 / 5
Price - 3.5/5
Quality - 5/5.

They have a turquoise, antique-ish style, with various paintings depicting scenes, pleasing to the eye. And this one too is light on your purse.

A big turn-down for vegetarians ! Their menu has only 4-5 items for vegetarians. And that too would be available only on weekends. Went in for lunch at 2.45 and the service was bad inspite of the restaurant having ly 4 tables filled up. Many items on meals were not available even after starting service. Non-veg was not great either !!

Me and my family went to this place after reading fantastic reviews on Zomato. The place is owned by the former Alankar Hotels group. The restaurant was unique in its style of paintings which had funny quotes about food. Apparently the place is famous for Mutton Biriyani. We were late and the place was crowded so they had to prepare again. Because of this Mutton meat was hard. They apologized for this. Their fish fry tasted very good since the fish was fresh. Excellent customer service. Kudos to the staff and chef. I'm gonna surely visit this place again. Just remember be on time.

I am from Delhi but I was visiting Coimbatore on occasion of a friends wedding. I visited 10 Biryani Mandi with my wife upon getting must-visit feedback from a local. The ambiance was the first what made us feel delightful, white and extremely gorgeous hand paintings all over. The hand paintings were not restricted to canvas, but we're also done on walls and decorative utensils. Talking about food now, we spoke to the head chef Ms Priya, about having small quantities of each item as we were not "that" hungry. She was very welcoming and warm. Our not so hungry stomach became very hungry in matter of minutes because each and every dish we tried, we Loved it! Not only the dishes were yummy, but because of less oil usage, they were light on stomach. Ms Priya, uses organic products which she farms herself at her own fields. Also some items grown by farmers are available for sale, so when you buy them, the 100% of amount goes to that farmer, thereby promoting farmer wellness! Very innovative and kind to do. They don't refrigerate food, kitchen is open and very clean, customer can see thru or choose to walk into the kitchen, while their dishes are getting prepared. Place is clean and airy,is a DEFINITE GO-TO RESTAURANT for all ages! Very very reasonably priced and I must admit I never had better South Indian food anywhere ever !

We were looking for lunch around 3.30 PM and found this place. The staffs Mr.Easwar andMiss. Surya were so kind to us. Though they could'nt serve rice, they helped us to fill our tummy with super soft parottas, idiyappams, kalaki omlette, Pallipalayam chicken and egg curry. Impressed by their delicious food and courteous service, we ate there on all 3 days of our trip. The sea food served there was so fresh. My fav is biriyani, mathi meen kozhambu, coriander pepper prawns. Awesome food.Especially the complimentary soup they provided was need of the moment. Prices are very reasonable.

As soon as I entered this place, the interior graphics were well done which was quiet pleasing.Banana leaf was spread, ordered Coriander chicken it was spicy and well flavoured.Mutton kheema had some spicy chunks of mutton and their speciality Naatu Kozhi Biriyani was a completely different one.Service was delicate and I was surprised to see their after meal platter which had a toothpick made of neem sticks.Overall had a good experience, nice work keep it up!

Took my family for lunch to this place. The food was awesome and so was the service. No artificial flavours used in their preparation. Their signature dish Biriyani was really too good. They have an open kitchen where you can see how they prepare the various dishes.

The food was just awesome, the quality of meat was fantastic. Just right and not too spicy.

Keep it up. The service was great, the price was reasonable.

"There could be no better feeling than to satisfy oneself with GOOD FOOD!" At 10 Biriyani Mandi food is not just good, but super delicious! Biriyani here is a treat to the taste buds. '10 Biriyani Mandi'- An amazing restaurant nested in between the busy roads of Ramnagar-Gandhipuram. Everything from the ambience to taste and cost is a big Yes-Yes when it comes to 10BM. The dishes are all of the southern ethnicity and the owner of the restaurant made sure that the customers brought more people the next time by using pure organic vegetables and oil in their food. Everything from the welcome drink "Naatukozhi rasam" to their Lime soda was so fresh and just brought the taste buds to life. The cost is neither too pricey nor too cheap, but decent.
All-in-all , MUST GO TO place to have a happy stomach and a happy heart.

10.Biriyani Mandi. A restaurant which serves no unique food but good food with a very good backdrop which makes it unique. Straight away when you enter the place you see the display board telling "indebted to all farmers" which is further reflected in their menu and even in the toothpick they give. The ambience is average with some issues coz of houseflies around. The food they serve is reasonably priced with respect to the quantity. No issue with the service. I would personally recommend their coriander pepper chicken with chicken biriyani and also the meen kozhambu meals they serve. So overall, 10.biriyani mandi serves good food for all class people with a tag line which makes it special. Give it a try !

The food is actually yummy and spicy.. Chicken biriyani really tasted nice. The ambience and service was excellent. Priced high Compared to other equivalent restaurants for the quantity of food served. Can try it once or twice. Nothing really great about the place.

Had Biriyani here it tasted really well they had given ommlette as a side for Biriyani which really went well with Biriyani. The food is awesome here service is also decent. When it comes to price Im not really happy with it.
Periyar Subbaiyan
Home made fish curry was excellent and good non veg lunch as we'll as Biryani too. The price is little higher comparing with other restaurants near by.

Not at all worthy..no vegetarian as well..very much disappointed..won't go for second time and will not refer anyone to this shop............

No fancy long reviews, as a foodie myself, things to say are, the ambience is fusion of a regular mess with mural interiors (the way I like to put it) the food is no unique, regular Tamil Nadu menu with a bit of authentic roots. A decent place for a quick lunch before traveling or cinema or during office break but no more. Appreciate and respect for tribute to farmers in their mission statement.
